Hi team,
I booked a cycle no.100184 at 12:47pm on 26th may. I used it for around 7 min. I tried to end the trip but it was of no use. The trip went on till 2hours and i still paid for the 2 hrs which i did not use. The trip does seem to end still and i am not going to pay another penny. Please look into it. The end trip button did not appear after i paid the 15rs. I tried for 15min and now it shows 18. Please look into it.

    This e-mail is with reference to the booking made by you with zoomcar through company's webpage/mobile app with the following details -

    It has come to our attention that the car has been used in excess of the paid rental amount and in accordance of the agreement duly verified and acknowledged by you, you are liable to make payment of ₹8059 to the company. Please note that failure to make payment of the due amount will render you liable to civil proceedings and the company would be entitled to recover the due amount by attachment of your property (Movable/immovable) or otherwise. Further, willfully declining or making delay to pay the above said outstanding amount could also subject you to criminal proceedings.

    We therefore request you to make payment of the aforementioned outstanding amount of ₹8059 within 5 days of this mail, failing which we shall be constrained to initiate against you civil and criminal legal proceedings as are warranted by law for recovery of the due amount. Please note that in accordance with the member agreement displayed here, duly verified and acknowledged by you, the company is entitled to recover all costs incurred in initiation of legal proceedings.

    Please find the below points on same.

    1. I have been trying to reach out to you @[protected] and then selecting the option 6 to talk. This never connects to the customer care resolve the above conflict.
    As you claim in the app and ivr, we are available 24*7 for any issues. Please make sure the option 6 which is for assist the users with some order booking is working fine.

    2. Since the day i took the vehicle i have been trying to reach you out on the above stated number to inform/ask the car already have few scratches at end. But as told that number never gets connected. Make sure you provide the option to the user to reach you out quickly or provided options are functioning properly.

    3. As per your app and website claims, things are very different on ground. I did the booking and when i reached the point, the guy took my mobile app and did all the things and asked me to check the car. I checked and informed him there are scratches at the end. He said yes. At the end he provided the keys and there were no options in app to put anything /all the checklist things were gone.

    4. When i returned, i was charged extra for late returns and for extra miles. I left the place and then got the message to pay extra amount for below 1000rs for extra miles and over time. After 1 hour when i was about to pay and settle the bills. I saw the damage charges have been added upto 8000 rs bill is generated.

    5. When i took the car, i was informed that don't worry we have insurance covered and the bill is already included the insurance amount in bold and all notifications. This was the only reason i took it lightly that its covered and i the charged amount is already included the amount. Why are you falsely informing the customers at the time of delivering the cars, it misleads the information. If it is not covered with insurance, why is it highlighted in the app and website. If you know the general public never completely reads the whole 5 page terms and condition before accepting the points. We check what has been highlighted outside without any * marks.

    6. Please stop harassing the customer with false charges and stop misguiding the customers with such fake claims or make a * mark and clarify the points.

    7. The above mail id is also one way, so basically you don't want to listen the customer point at all.

    I am ready to pay the extra miles and overtime charges. Please do let me know the process to pay the extra miles and overtime charges. As it was well explained and understood.
    At the time of receiving the scratches were already there and no customer care option (6) is working to inform the same. Request you to make the things clear and listen to customer points as well before harassing us.

    You have not only ruined our small trip and peace. But you are ruining our next trips as well.

    It was very bad experience with zoomcar so far. I regret taking the zoomcar.

    We see that you have an outstanding amount of $outstanding_amount$ for your following bookings: jps62e2ww

    Kindly follow the below procedure to clear the outstanding amount.

    1. Log into your account using zoomcar app.
    2. Once logged in, under menu options select "my trips".
    3. Select the tab “completed bookings”
    4. Booking with an outstanding will be marked in red.
    5. Click on the booking and proceed with the payment.

    If you do not have access to the zoomcar app then use the zoomcar website using this link: www.zoomcar.com

    1. Log into your zoomcar account.
    2. On the landing page, on the right-hand corner, click on your name.
    3. Select the option “my bookings”
    4. Move to the tab “ complete bookings”
    5. The payable amount will reflect under your booking.
    6. Select the option “pay now” and proceed with the payment.

    An outstanding amount reflects under a booking in case there is any penalty levied on the booking such as late fee, late charge, overspeeding fee, damage charge or any such charges for a policy violation.

      "i have the whole video of the condition of the car before we took it, there has been no changes in any part of the car expect of the tyre got punctured and we changed it, we don't see that a simple puncture is liable for vehicle damage of 10000 i. E. The maximum damage fee, also we repaired the puncture on our own expense, we washed the car on our expense and delivered it neat and clean in original condition, there has been no late fee as we extended the timings for that, we didn't smoke neither drink, also we didn't overspeed the vehicle, there were many scratches and dents on the car before hand and the video is the proof of that, also your employees told us that this were earlier marks and we didn't need to pay anything. So how a 10000 charge is valid."
      This was the mail sent by me to zoom car and in reply i got the instructions to pay outstanding amount
      I have been a customer of zoom car for so long and never faced this type of issue but this time i booked car from chandigarh there were damage charges, i never faced the problem in mumbai. The car was neat and cleanly delivered and in better condition then the original one
      Please look into the matter as i have read many faced the same problem in chandigarh, i guess your team at chandigarh is frauding people.

After uploading my license i have cancelled the booking right away beacuse of personal reason...i thing it hardly took 10 min for me and there is no refund nothing it just says refund amount 0.           I was a happy zoomer till my last trip (id: JPS62VH1E) which went horribly wrong in the end just because of the negligence and irresponsibility of zoomcar. Things went wrong went I was asked to pay damage charges which was not at all of my concern.
          The journey began on 11/5/2018. The KUV100 was handed over to us after filling all checklists and visual inspection by us and zoomcar team at Banglaore. The fuel was low and we ourselves filled diesel of 1500rs which was to be reimbursed by zoomcar later. The car was safely dropped off at Mangalore on 12/5/2018 with all formalities. The car was visually inspected by us as well as by zoomcar executives at Mangalore and there were no problems. But next day, ie on 13th Sunday I got a recorded call from zoomcar that my outstanding amount is 1836rs. Upon calling customer care, I was told that left door was damaged and the charges were around 3ooo+ rs. Also it was told that my fuel reimbursement amount is deducted from damage charges WITHOUT ANY INTIMATION.
          I issued a complaint on the same day stating that damage was not done from my end. A complaint was raised and I was assured that I will be getting a call within 24 hours. I waited but din’t get any call from your end. I myself called the customer on 15th Tuesday, another complaint was raised, another assurance of solving and finally no news from your end as expected. I never expected such irresponsibility and negligence from such a brand. I know very well that this is just a gimmick from your end so that my fuel reimbursement fees to be managed in the name of damage charges.
          When I gave the car in good condition, how the car got damaged?? Ifever there was a damage, then why it was not reported on the spot by the executive at the spot?? Why the issue was not shown to us at the same time so that the problem could have been rectified at the spot?? There is no point in blaming us after the journey is finished and there is no point telling that you have the proof, a day after the journey is done. Also after the total inspection, the keys were handed over to the executive as it was told by him. This raises many questions and seems very fishy. There might be chances of mishandling by the executive and ultimately you collect the charges from customers.
          I have mailed the same to zoomcar but till now I dint get any reply for mail.
          On 21/5/18 I got call from one executive that I will be sent a legal notice and 18% will be added to the outstanding amount if not paid asap. Upon asking for the same details through mail, they haven't replied. I don't know why they rely on verbal communication than written documents.
          Also upon asking for the act of executive in Mangalore, it was told that the ifever there is any kind of damage, the executive won't be sharing it to the customer on spot, he will be sending the damage details to the team and they will be charging us itseems. I don't understand where is the term "transparency" here.
          Such a cheap business mentality from so called Transparent, Honest, Loyal service provider. This is a very shameful act from your side and such kind of acts will surely lead you to loss of customers. Hope you know very well how the completion is and if you deal with customers in this way, then you will be responsible for your own downfall.
          Its my humble request to go through the matter again and please make sure my fuel bill to reimbursed at the earliest.

            Case number was 852362 and it was added from the website as soon as booking was done for wrong cycle. Please refund my money which is being taken from my PAYTM wallet.
            I have written this from website as soon as I booked the cycle but no one contacted me till now. I have just received a message saying I need to pay extra 63 rs and just for ending the trip yesterday after so much try I paid 15 rs. I have lost 78 rs just because no one from customer support was interested to resolve the issue asap. Please pay me back those money which I have lost because no one answered my complain.

              Me and my friends booked swift in bangalore and went nearby while coming back we were traveling in nice road (Bangalore) which is always empty, too broad and cars usually go above 100 km/hr. This was the first time we booked zoomcar and none o[censored]s had any idea. We were getting late so my friend was driving fast and just reached 125 km/ hr. The moment he just touched that limit the message came that he crossed 125 and should pay 2500 rs. We were never been informed before booking about the extra charges. No one told us the max limit. We had also booked scorpio and in that car the limit was mentioned 80 km/ hr and even before taking the car, the people there told them the limit but for the other car no one mentioned even once. Not even in rules and regulations it was mentioned so now y will we pay the extra fine. It is not our mistake and we will not pay. If the issue is not solved here then my dad who is the judge of high court is going to help us file the case against zoomcar. When it's not our mistake then we r not going to pay even a single penny

                Hi.
                This is tanvi. I booked pedl cycle 102464 form pune City. I rode it for just 20-25 minutes. I then brought it at pedl station and locked it, and then tried to end my trip, but I'm unable to end my trip. It has almost been 2.5 hours now and I'm being charged. I tried ending the trip many times at the pedl station but the trip is. Not getting ended.
                Please end my trip. Look into this matter at your earliest.

                  I am a regular pedl user. My cycle number number today was 102998. My cycle did not get unlocked but the trip had commenced and i started getting billed for it.
                  Now my trip isn’t ending. I tried innumerable times to both unlock cycle and end trip, it kept sending incorrect messages like cycle is not in pedl station. Since my cycle never got unlocked, hoe could it have ever been outside the pedl station.
                  Even now my trip is goin on and my money is getting deducted.
                  I am helpless and i am wondering how to remedy this issue.
                  If my issue is not resolved i will not be using this pedl facility ever again.

                    I booked a PEDL cycle (cycle no: 100811) on 21st May 2018 at 1:43 PM at IIT Madras campus. The cycle did not unlock on scanning the QR code but I am being charged for my trip at 3rs/30min from my Paytm wallet and also an outstanding charge. No feedback is available from the customer care of Zoomcar even after several complaint mails being sent. I want immediate return of my money.

                      Trip duration: 11th may 2018 6 am to 12th may 2018 7am.

                      We booked tata tiago. At the start of the trip we took photos of the car with all the scratches and dents. At the end of the trip, the person at the site checked everything and said to end the trip with no additional charges. We left the place and after a day zoomcar has charged 3000 for damage fee. When we called the car owner, he said that the spare tire at the trunk was torn. But we never used that. We didnt even know to change the tyre. As per our first discussion he said that there was another booking prior to ours and he suspected them and asked us to raise a request to zoomcar. We did the same but zoomcar replies as below.

                      "the levied vehicle damage charges are valid and the same cannot be waived off"

                      We tried to contact the customer care but the numbers are not working. We again tried to call the car owner, now he asked us to pay the damage fee though we haven't caused any damage. How can we believe that the damaged tyre belongs to the car we booked? They didn't check the spare tyre before starting the trip.

                      Today I took a cycle and rode for an hour and a half but when I wanted to end the trip it says timeout try again. And my money is getting wasted please do something quick.
                      Hi I did book a ride with id#102132 but the cycle didn't unlock... I was told the trip will auto end in 30 mins so I thought it was ok now it's charging me for another 30 mins.. could someone help will it continue like this..

                        I had booked a ride with zoomcar with booking id jps6242q4 after making due payement. During picking the car i tried unlocking the car after inspection then i got a message that there is network issue with car. Then i tried calling customer care. But there was no option yo speak to sutomer care and like this rried all optipns listed in app as well as website. Nothing worked. I coudnt cancel the trip as well as app didnt allow me to make fresh booking. I was left un attended and all efforts to reach them was not responsive

                          My first experience with zoom car... Pathetic (Booking id - jps624711)
                          We had booked a car under the above booking id. At the first instance the car was not ready. Finally we got the car ready at 9.00p. M. Which was 30min beyond scheduled time... The car had a few scratches which were very well confirmed by the persons at zoom car... Moreover we had already sent a video of the car to their mobile [protected]. When we came to return the car, they person at the zoomcar outlet was the most unprofessional kind. His way of talking was very very rude. He went around the car and pointed out to the already existing scratches, which we said were already advised to your person and also video sent. He was unable to download the video which he very conveniently said was not his problem. I can't understand how are we responsible if he is using an outdated mobile set n is unable to download the video. He had no reaction and we were standing all there including three ladies... At 9.00 in the night at the zoomcar outlet which is quite secluded at that time of the night... (Who knows whether he had ulterior motives). He did not have the courtesy to tell us that the formalities have been completed and we could proceed. It was only after our repeated questioning that he confirmed the same. Now, we see a charge of rs 2500/- being applied to us as damage charges. We strongly oppose this as these damage charges, if any, were not advised to us at the time of returning the car. We don't even know what is the damage that they are charging us for. There were a few scratches on the car prior to pick up which was advised to them vide a video sent to the concerned representatives of zoom car on the site. Other than that there were no other damage to the car. Then what are we charged for???
                          On taking up the matter with zoom car customer care, they, very conveniently advised us that the charges are for the damages caused. But what are the damages??? Isn't it our fundamental right to know why are we being charged for??? If there were any damages (Which we very strongly refute), the same should have been conveyed to us before we left the site and we should have been in agreement with it. There should have been a valid proof of their claim. Charges should not be levied after our exit with the confirmation that everything is okay. On constant followup with them for the reason for claim of charges, zoomar finally advised us that there was a scratch present on the rear door. But the rear door already had scratches which was clearly conveyed to them through video and also confirmed by them in person at the time of pickup. So why are we charged for somebody else's deeds? This is pure looting. It appears that zoom car is using unfair means to extract money from unsuspecting public.
                          Kindly look into the this matter and arrange for refund of the amount wrongly claimed by zoom car for someone else's damage.

                          Kindly note that the damage was not conveyed to us at the time of return of the car. We are of the strong contention that there was no damage to the car other than the existing ones when we returned it and this was very well brought to the notice of the personnel at the site. The earlier damages were also conveyed to you through a video which was earlier sent to you. As per RTI Act, as a consumer, I am expected to know what I am being charged for. If it is damages as you claim (and I strongly refute), this should have been brought to my notice while I was on site along with my concurrence. You cannot claim damage charges after my exit when your personnel was satisfied that there was no additional damage to the car other than the existing ones.

                          As such, provide me with evidence for the charges you claim just like how I have sent you a video prior to pickup, or else refund my charges. It is not a matter of money but a matter of principle wherein you are using unfair means to target unsuspecting customers like us. And I going to fight it tooth and nail no matter how high I have to go till I am convinced that the charges levied by you are legal and valid.

                            Cycle no101299 the trip had started and I am not able to open lock and i tried in help section in web page pedal.in but from there I was not able to force end trip and my money is deducting from Paytm please take this on priority otherwise I ll file complaint in consumer forum.

                              I'm not able to end the trip even after locking the cycle. I did checked many times after locking the cycle and tried end trip but a pop-up comes saying time out try again.                                 Hello sir

                                This is to inform you that zoom car is allowing unethical practices to charge damage fees by following the processes with lot of loopholes. This is the first time i booked a zoom car and when i went to the kiosk, the concerned person asked me the car number. I asked him how to access the same. Then he took my mobile and accepted all the pages and went to he last page and told me to take handover of the car. I have categorically asked about the dent on the front bumper and i was told that it was already noted. When i have handedover the car, the guy vanished from the place for a while. I had to call customer service and drop the key in the vehicle, as the car was not getting locked. There was no person who jointly inspected with me after i handed over the car. After few hours, i get a messge that - i need to pay 4000 for the damage. Their customer service is not accessible. I had to call from a different number to reach their customer service please investigate these unethical practices of zoom cars

                                  This compliant is regarding the pathetic service I've experienced with Zoom Cars recently.

                                  My booking started at 1:00 Am in the morning of 18th May 2018. I had to rush to the Hyderabad International Airport to make sure that one of my family member's board the flight.

                                  I reached to the car site and to my surprise the fuel in vehicle was 12% and could hardly travel 10Kms. I reached out to the support and people over there are pretty insensitive!!

                                  All your reply was "Sir, please fill the fuel and upload the bill and we will refund you back" - Do you'll think I don't know that?

                                  But in the middle of the night should be worried about getting late to the airport or should I be concerned about finding a fuel station?

                                  Do you'll sound sensible?

                                  Late I got a call from one gentlemen name Mohammad. All he was asking me is " Do you want the car or do you want to cancel the booking?"

                                  With time running out have you people really left any options with me??

                                  Do you'll call this a customer service??

                                  Zoom where are your standards?

                                  I'm really sorry to inform that I will be approached the consumer complaints court with all the call records and the fuel meter images while I was given the vehcile.

                                  Pleasure doing business with you'll. I would highly not recommend any one to be aware of the zoom fraud.

                                    At the time of registration mistakenly i uploaded my aadhar card into my friends account. But now when i'm trying to re-upload it into my account. It's showing dual account message. I want to get my aadhar out of his account as it can be misused too. And when i called zoomcar they r telling that it's in their policy once uploaded can't be removed they should have told it earlier while registration.                                       I picked the cycle from taj mahal east gate.
                                      I just watching some articles in the shop and cycle was stolen from my back.
                                      Now i am unable to end the trip and lock the cycle.
                                      I have unlocked cycle 102996 on 29th April Early at 5:59 am and after 28 mins, not able to end the trip it was showing message that find nearby station. After many tries, able to end trip but my payment got deducted for 1 hour charge of 6₹ and payment got deducted twice and total 12₹ got deducted. Kindly help for refund.
