I had posted a complaint when the trip wasn't ending on 24th April (https://www.consumercomplaints.in/zoom-car-unable-to-end-the-trip-and-money-is-...
After deducting 33rs in total, my trip for ended. I used the cycle for just 30 mins but an extra 30rs was deducted.
Please refund my money.
I'm attaching screenshots as a proof.

    I had rented the car from april 5th to april 8th from pune to mahableshwar. They had totally charged me rs. 6717 inr. The same was already settled.

    The drop time was suppose to be 2 pm on 8th april. I reached by 3.30. They have charged additional 1400 inr, which i am ready to pay.

    They have also charged the cleaning charge of 1000 inr. The car given to me wasn't clean. I had informed them of this. Still i don't mind paying the same.

    They have charged damage fee for 500, claiming minor scratches in front bumper. I told them i have caused no such damage.

    Further, they have charged me an inconvenience fee, which after further inquiry turned out to be for the "lost key". I ensured them, that the key was very much in the dashboard. They then said the key was damaged, hence the charge
    The key provided was already damaged. It is a non remote operated key. For the same they have charged me 10, 000 inr. The key had just come out of the socket. It was still operational. I asked them, how can they charge 10, 000 inr for an old traditional key, which we get for 500 inr? They didn't reply to my query and sent me a notice. They even threatened to send they recovery agents to our house if the payment was not made.

    I have no issue in paying for late fee and cleaning charges. I even don't mind paying for the minor scratch in bumper (500 inr). But 10, 000 inr for a normal old type key is not appropriate.

      Yesterday evening, i've unlocked a damaged pedl cycle no:102557.. It's lever is broken already... But to lock it again and end the trip the lever got stucked..
      I'm trying to reach out pedl customer care but no such help-line numbers or the customer support mails are present...
      Meanwhile the pedl service started sending the messages saying that do you want to extend your trip... You have an outstanding balance... Do you want to end the trip...
      Plz... Someone at pedl... End my trp

      I had unlocked cycle number 100134.
      But it did not unlock. The trip had started already. I'm trying to end trip from last 1hr... But it is not successful.
      Please end my trip and money should not get deducted too. And I did not use the cycle at all

        Beware! Zoom car india has got new strategy to loot customers. They have started tricking customers with false allegations of car damage and are collecting money.
        Booking id – “jps62d6xo”
        I booked a swift on april 22nd for 4 days and was due to be returned on april 25th.
        When i arrived to get the car, i was asked by the fleet executive to make the video of 'car body' capturing all the dents which i did. Conveniently he didn't mention anything about the wheels/tyres at any point. I came to deliver the car a day in advance as we did cut short our trip and there was no point of keeping it with us for no reason.
        Surprisingly while we were there to deliver the car, three different executives checked the car and said nothing about it. They did see the video we made to see the dents which they did refuse earlier stating that we don't keep cars in this poor condition. Once they checked the video, only then they asked use to hand over the keys and leave as is. Until this point they didn't mention anything about the scratch in the tyre or damage to the wheel.
        After 24 hours, i get a message from zoom car india stating that there was a sever damage to the tyre and out of rs. 5000 (Security deposit) i will only get rs. 648 back. To my utter disbelief, they charged me for a tyre damage which was impossible to take place without a dent in the car body. And as the video clearly captures the dents in the car body, the only way to damage the tyre is to do it on purpose with something sharp. Since the time we gave it back and to the time we got the message, it took them 24 hours to highlight the damage, the only possible answer to this is the fact that the damage was done on purpose to charge the amount from the customer. Since then, i am trying to reach the customer care executive, the fleet executive and the team but no one replied pretty conveniently. I confronted with the executive stating that why the car wasn’t inspected in front of me and was charged at the spot, they conveniently didn't reply. They don’t check immediately, but the do inspection later before next booking. Since then, all the customer care executives had been singing the same song to prove that i am guilty. But, no one is ready to tell me why the damages were marked after a day of my booking and it’s being forced onto me. They are asking me for video proof now, but i fail to understand what's the use of their fancy new checklist that i marked in the app before booking? How come the checklist doesn't include tyres?
        While i had already marked about damages in the car bumper while filling the pre-booking checklist, i am being told that the damages in the tyre were done by me. Moreover, these zoomcar fleet executives will cunningly park the vehicles in shady areas, such that you’ll miss out most of the damages that could be seen in daylight.
        This is the new trick zoom car india is following to extract money from their customers, and if you ignore they will even threat you by sending a civil notice for a criminal offense. Be careful guys, and don’t fall into this trap. Better book an ola or uber for as long as you want, and it will come cheaper than zoom car india charges. Moreover, you’ll save money and harassment that come free after each booking ends.
        I have however donated rs. 5000 towards the fraud conducted by zoom car india and taken a pledge of never using their so-called "service" ever.

        We did check the above issues and we understand your disappointment here. Upon checking, we see that there was a damage done to the left side front tire when the vehicle was checked post the drop-off.

        Kindly note, we have given all power to the customer to ensure that they report any damage or any issue with the vehicle through our checklist. Also, you do get an option to mention regarding the tire condition in the pickup checklist.

        We suggest our customers check the vehicle before they pick it. However, our executives do inform our customers to take a video or pictures of the vehicle for your reference for any discrepancy in the future.

        The charges are appropriately levied on the booking on 24/04/18 at 05:13 PM. Kindly share the video taken during the vehicle pickup with the properties ( date and time) to the email sent for us to revalidate the charges.

        Thanks for the reply team. Have been following up on emails almost daily but somehow you choose to reply only on a public portal and not to the personal demands.

        Well, for first, I have shared the video with the team last week and haven't heard from you guys since then! Much surprising though!

        Regarding the so-called 'appropriately' levied charges... Could you be kind enough to enlighten me regarding the simple face that why was the inspection done only after we drop and leave the vehicle to the sales executive at your Mahipalpur centre rather than confirming this to us while we waited 30mins at the centre.

        It comes to us as a surprise as the executive didn't mention anything about the damage or charges when we waited and only 24 hours later did we get to know that there was a damage.

        In context to the video and the check list. The sales executive from whom we picked the vehicle, mentioned nothing at all about the tyres and asked us to simply capture all the dents in the body. It was 4:45 in the morning, pitch dark when we collected the vehicle and since there was no intimation regarding the tyres, we had no clue regarding it. The checklist in your app talks about the air pressure in the tyre and nothing else. If at all it was pointed out by the executive, we would have asked them to change the vehicle in the first place as all four wheels had huge cracks and the executive simply said that its not important and won't make much a difference. It is pretty convenient on your part to completely overlook that fact and levy unruly charges on the customer after depositing the vehicle well in time.

        Talking logically, please try to understand that it is impossible to cause such a major damage to the tyres without a single bump in the car body.

        In case there are any doubts, please have the courtesy to at least pick up the phone and resolve the issue rather than delaying it unnecessarily.

          Yesterday at 3.56 pm i started ride from radha krishna hotel in rahatani. Then since 4.45 pm i am trying to end the trip. Now it's like i am trying to end the trip since last 12 hours. I am still being charged for it. Please help me to resolve this issue asap. I have sent more than 5 mails to pedl but there is no response from them. Moreover, there is no facility like live chat or call. It's so frustrating.

          I stated my ride at 3.56 p.mfrom radha krishna hotel in rahatani. From 4.45 p.m I am trying to end my trip. But I am unable to end the trip. I have sent many mails but no response from them. It's almost 5 hrs now my money is getting deducted from paytm wallet. 30 rs was on hold. Money is getting debited from that amount. Please look into the matter asap.

            I took cycle 100810 on[protected] at 9:18am in mahendra world city, chennai and i used the cycle for 8 minutes and kept the cycle at pedal station. Then i locked my cycle and tried to end the trip. Irrespective of how many times i tried it is showing timed out. This happened to few more people in mcity. Now even after 12hrs also i'm not able to end the trip and getting messages to submit the cycle. I'm responsible only to pay the first half an hour amount and i'm not at all responsible for the afterward things and i won't pay the rest amount. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible

              I hired a cycle on 23rd april 4:23pm from writi apartment cd-26, new town, kolkata. Cycle no is 100679. Contact no. [protected]. I have used the cycle for 2 hours only. I was unable to end my trip. After trying for 30 mins, i locked the cycle at the same pedl station and rushed to work. However the app kept charging me for one more day. Please note that i am not responsible for any amount beyond rs 12. My query is still not resolved. I got an sms from zoomcr asking me to return the cycle at a pedl sation by 9:23p. M that day. However i had already locked the cycle at active pedl station in the same writi apartment cd-26 from where i had started the trip.

              This kind of deficieny in service is not expected. Requesting to please arrange for my trip refund as i'm not to be charged for more than rs 12.

                I (Ajay) have unlocked cycle at 6.55 am in pimple saudagar, pune and used it exactly for 25 minutes with my cell alarm on. I kept cycle from where i unlocked it. I was able to lock it but when tried to unlock got error "timed out" an asked to press okay. Not able to end the trip. I tried to end the trip for almost 40 minutes but got same message. So took the screenshot and sent many mails to pedl customer care using support feature. But there is no response from customer care yet and now while again i tried to open zoom car apps, i got message that your trip is still on and then said do you want to end trip... I hit no but still it ended the trip and deducted 30 rs/ from paytm and saying 15 rs still pending to pay... So used cycle for 25 minutes i. E. 3 rs and now see charges of 45 rs. Wasted so much time since morning on this with lot of frustration and there is no response from customer care - this is not expected at all. Please support to close this and refund me all 45 rs/-. I would have been okay to deduct 3 s as used fo 25 min but with type of service you are providing an considering wastage of time, frustration as no response from customer care now question is why i should be paying due 3 rs - too.
                Help me to close this asap

                  Hi,
                  I have been using your pedl services in hsr layout area bengaluru to commute to the nearest bus-stop. But each time i am faced with one or the other issue with your services. Today's being the worst of all. As usual i dropped your cycle at the right pedl stations (Aston service apartment, 27 main hsr). But unfortunately i could not end the trip. I was in hurry, so locked it and complained about this on your app. (Only to be surprised by a automatic reply). To be frank this happens every day - but eventually you would end the trip after an 10 to 15 minutes of wait time. But today it was at its worst, and to top you charged me 27 minutes for that.

                    This is subhash, i have hired your cycle no 102574, exactly at 7:22am on 25.04.2018. Wanted to end my triphone after 32 min. But not able end trip.
                    It was giving a message as "something went wrong try again" i tried several times.
                    The charges supposed to 6 rupees, but afierce 5hr 17 min. Received a message of payment of 30 rupees, and again showing 3 rupees pending.
                    Kindly look into to it and refund money and end the trip

                      'hi, i have parked and locked the bicycle at 7:42 am today.. At shivar garden, pimple saudagar stand.. But unable to end my trip. Paytm amount is also being deducted.. I am unable to end my trip. After trying for 50 min frantically, i locked the cycle at pedl station in the university and rushed to my office. However the app is still charging me. Please note that i am not responsible for any amount beyond rs 6. I had written an email to [protected]@zoomcar.com. My query is still not resolved. I got an sms from vk - zoomcr asking me to return the cycle at pedl satino by 12.13a. M. However i have already locked the cycle at active pedl station in savitri bai phule university, pune.

                          This kind of deficieny in service is not expected. Requesting to please arrange for my trip to be ended and not charge me above rs 6.

                          I hired a cycle a 7.13 A.M from Savitri Bai Phule university, Pune. Cycle no is 101342. Contact no. [protected]. I have used the cycle only for 50 mins. I was unable to end my trip I raised complian and got solution after 5-6 hours. I received SMS that Rs 30 is deduced from my paytm and was asked to clear outstanding of Rs 3. Please note that I am not responsible for any amount beyond Rs 6.

                          This kind of deficiency in service is not expected. Requesting to please arrange for refund of excess amount that is Rs 24 to my paytm account and clear all my outstandings.
                          Yesterday I have mailed you guys and even after the rrouble shooting I could not end my trip after an hour.
                          The charge was Rs.6/- then.
                          However the mail said they will connect to me if I'm unable to end the trip on the website.
                          Even after me sending the contact no & location nobody called or helpmed me.
                          I woke up and saw Rs.30 was charged.
                          May I know why?
                          The trip was supposed to be ended at 12:30 or so.I infact shared the screenshot of that particular time.
                          Really pathetic service.
                          Please do justice and issue me new bill details with proper details.
                          This is cheating. U don't let us end it and charge as per your wish.

                            This is Hiranmoy Sarkar. Today 25/04/2018 I have booked a cycle at 7.21 AM for less than 1 hour.

                            After 50 minutes I was tring to : END My Trip but I was unable to end the trip.

                            Still it is showing as ongoing trip and pedl is charging money.

                            Please help and end my trip and refund the extra amount which you have charged because I was tring to end the trip after 50 minutes from booking.

                              Hello
                              I used a pedl cycle in the morning today from 8:36 and left it at pedl station raja mantri udyan pune after 43minutes. I am trying to end the trip since then. But the request is not going through. Cycle no. Is 103065. The trip meter is running with 3 rs. Half n hour since last 3 hours.
                              Please help in resolving this issue urgently. This is really annoying and totally unacceptable.

                                Hi team,

                                I booked a cycle 102799 stationed at my office location & used it for around 15 - 20 minutes, but unable to end trip stating parking is full and end trip at some other station, which also shows the same message. I am being charged for 2nd 30 minutes ride as well. Could you please assist in ending the trip. Kindly have look on issue and help resolving on priority.

                                  I used a pedl cycle in the morning today and left it pedl station from where i picked it (Saraswat bank, karve nagar) after half n hour. I am trying to end the trip since then. But the request is not going through. Cycle no. Is 101546. The trip meter is running with 3 rs. Half n hour since last 4 hours.
                                  Please help in resolving this issue urgently. This is really annoying and totally unacceptable.

                                    Today morning around 5.39am i started a trip after 58 mins, i tried to end the trip (Cycle number 101831) but it is not ending. I locked the cycle. But still not ending the trip. Always saying time out.

                                    There were other people too, who are having the same issue. My trip is still ongoing & charging money. Please immediate stop it & refund my money back to my paytm wallet.

                                    I want refund of my money.

                                    Its 4hours still charging. Their customer care service sucks. Have no contact number to talk directly with such emergency issues.

                                    Now its 5 hours paytm balance deduction of rs. 30, refund my money. I ride for one hour. Then it should be charging only 6 rs, refund the rest of the 24 rs.

                                    Now my trip got ended after 6 hours or more.
                                    It saying I have to pay rs. 12 outstanding balance. Where as I have already paid Rs.30 from paytm.

                                    I ride the bike only for one hour. So my bill should be Rs. 6
                                    Refund my Rs. 24 & clear outstanding Rs.12 bill.

                                      I am not able to end the pedl trip. I have used the cycle for 15 to 20 minutes. I am trying to end the trip for more than 1 and half hour. But it is not ending. Please give the solution. Didn't get pedl customer care number on net.
