New India Assurance — Non denial of mediclaim (complaint)
complaint against New India Mediassist India TPA.
I have submitted health claim no. 23078513 on Dt- 26-Oct-2020 for Rs. 37648. 83p. In that claim new India Mediassist TPA denial the claim due to hospital discount on final bill. As per Mediassist India TPA the discount amount which is given in final bill is much more higher as compared to bill amount paid... MediAssist TPA Insurance company denying hike to its all employees for the last 2 years and stating that due to pandemic situation couldn't be able to give and that too its a insurance TPA company for the corporates but rest of the non-insurance sector companies are offering lot to their employees... I have called many times on mediassist toll free number they are saying that you will receive payment on Monday Tuesday, next Monday, But it’s being almost 45 days the payment is not released. Please see it from my side as well

Bhavesh Maghnani... Mediassist health insurance claim has been delaying from 2 years even after I submitted valid docs. And they couldn't give me any proper status of claim.

Mediassist is very worst insurance company, i think so they are not giving claim amount and always asking same documents... were also asked by Mediassist on phone. I replied all the queries but the claim was rejected from the Mediassist without giving any written reply. I have also mailed an application for my claim no. 23061749 many times but the claim still not being reopened and processed. I am attaching details application which was mailed... not started yet from mediassist end. If you want I am ready to pay courier cost too. Please send the document to my mailing address within this week. Because STAR HEALTH insurance from my brother’s company urging him to get this document ASAP, whereas it is been already more than 45 days from discharged date from hospital... 2020 at your email address [protected]@mediassist. in. I contacted your representatives every alternate days but reply is not satisfactory. Again on 14. 12. 2020 I contacted your representative Mr. DIXIT and told him again my history. He told me to send a same reply on his personal id i. e. dixit. [protected]@mediassist... I have been behind Mediassist Team to check on my claim status. I have sent all the relevant documents through courier but my bad i missed to mention my claim details post which i have sent a mail on the same as well.
Whenever i called to check the status they place my call on hold and its getting disconnected... sheet / Runsheet with MEDIASSIST receiving stamp and sign to track the same... So the next day i have called the Mediassist people and they asked me to check with hospital to send the preauthorization form. And the hospital also sent the preauthorization form on 2/11/2020. My wife has been discharged today till now this Mediassist not approved my Initial approval also... COMPANY LTD (ASSISTED BY MEDIASSIST)... cashless service for Mediassist. Even with availability of Insurance I had to arrange Money.
Overall, instead of making life easy, Mediassist is adding more stress in the already panicked situation... Medi Assist India — The Claim is not processed (complaint)
Last week[protected], I went to Mediassist branch - Aminjikarai, Chennai and handed over to all original documents in the Mediassist office.
I sent multiple mail and we discussed over telephone for this issue complaint, No one is responded properly to me.
Till date I received these many tickets regarding this:

Please update status and re-open my claim in portal... insurance for which TPA is mediassist. My MAID is [protected]. TPA first didnt accept cashless service for my covid related hospitalisation. Now i have filed for reimbursement on 25/09/2020. However, i have not recieved any information on my claim no claim id has been provided. Customer care executive has no clue and they are delaying the process by asking me to wait for 2-3 days even after 21days of my request... I enquired mediassist what documents required for claim and i mailed all the documents from there which they have listed. The original documents submitted are as below,
1) final bill ( duly sealed and signed by hospital)
2) discharge card (Having details of why she was admitted and what the doctor did the treatment... estimate of 1337500 rs and mediassist approved 75000 ₹. At the time discharge the hospital gave claim of ₹177906 the mediassist approved only 50000₹. If I ask for details, they didn't provided clearly. If the medical insurance provider can't able to give atleast 50% of claim from amount then what is need for medical insurance... satisfactory replies from the MediAssist Team.
Kindly look into this and do a needful for payment of this shorter amount on an urgent basis.

with raksha tpa from mediassist and they assured us to convert it bt after so many reminder they refuse us. I will not bear this loss that is done by from shailby management mistake. It is more than 20 days passed but they are not providing claim id. I have called them and write them but no proper answer. Even they are telling your policy is expired. On scrutiny of documents it is observed that the hospital is not registered and does not full fill the criteria... Hiranandani Hospital — hospital took money twice once through cash and other through cashless claim (complaint)
hour we got sms from mediassist that the required payment has been done to hiranandani powai hospital for the cashless reimbursement. However not even once the hospital informed us that they received payment twice. When enquired by us they asked us to follow up with mediassist which in turn is telling to follow up with the hospital... am following up with mediassist support tram for my ticket no : [protected], which was clearly a mistake from mediassist for payment to an invalid account number.
Even though i have provided correct account number mediassist done payment to some invalid account number and transaction got failed... number of people in mediassist and everyone answers the same that they cannot cancel the policy once it is opted.
This is ridiculous and stupid rules which is made by insurance company, it is individual decision and our money which we are paying it to you and we do not have any rights to cancel the policy... | |
