I booked Agarwal packers and movers to transfer my goods from Delhi to Mumbai (full lorry) and delhi to lucknow. Following are they key challenges:
1. They forced us to make the payment in their employee's individual acount. In spite of requesting for company account number, they first forced us to transfer in individual account and when we showed reaistence, they intimidate us to cancel the whole assignment.
2. The booking included packing, shifting, unloading and unpacking. However in lucknow, they embarrassed my parents to pay extra amount and then left the good as it is without unpacking.
3. In mumbai, they forced us to pay a hefty 3600 to some union and when we declined any such demand they kept us waiting for our own goods for 12 hours and asked their labourers to leave the goods unattended on the road.
4. We tried to call their spoc Madhusudan many a times (~60), he ignored our calls and mentally harassed me and my wife by not responding and jeeping us waiting for our goods.
5. We paid premium for full Insurance of our luggage too, however when we reported that some our our things are broken in the process, they ignored our mail till date.
6. As I mentioned above, I booked full lorry for transfer of our goods but he shared the lorry for other transfers as well without any consent, which resulted in damage of our goods too.

    Dear Ma’am/Sir,

    I am really unhappy over the service extended for transportation of articles; would like to put on record as under:

    1. At the time of booking it was conveyed that the delivery will be made within 13 days from booking date, whereas the articles were finally delivered only on 11 March ’17 that too partially. Delayed delivery has caused unnecessary financial expenditure and harassment and the ordeal still continues.
    2. Double seater sofa and a recliner sofa were left out in the warehouse as informed while delivering the remaining articles.
    3. Adhesive marks from the cello tapes and remains of cardboard paper have damaged our teak wood dining table, 6 (six) teakwood dining chairs and one teak wood centre table. On 21st Feb during packing in Kolkata the supervisor in charge and his staff were repeatedly informed to ensure no damage to the paint or polish owing to the poor quality of adhesive on the cello tapes.
    4. Goods mentioned in the above point were sent in extremely proper condition.The polish and paint have been damaged and all the furniture have lost its sheen which is absolutely unacceptable. I hereby claim for all damages to be compensated in full
    5. Explained concerns were referred to Ms.Shilpa Burfi (HOD) and duly stated on receipt document signed by the supervisor on site yesterday. Shilpa had assured us she will liaise with the concerned team to take necessary steps to rectify the damage. However post that first call all attempts to reach out to her via telephone are in vain. None of the calls or messages to her no.are being responded to.
    6. During w.c.6th March repeated chasers and reminders were made to Mumbai based supervisors (mobile[protected]. Initially Mr.Ramdutt was informed and subsequenty Banik was made aware that there are two air conditioners that need to be setup along with the modular furniture bed. It was specifically mentioned that the bed requires a rotating screwdriver to assemble it and hence proper provision needs to be made to ensure the staff are adequately equipped. However, during the partial delivery on 11th March 2017 none of the requests was heeded and the bed and ACs have not been assembled.
    7. All materials used during packing have been returned on the same day of delivery to the delivery team.

    As much as I was pleased with the performance of the Kolkata team I am doubly disappointed with the inefficiency of the Mumbai team of Agarwal Packers and Movers.
    Kindly confirm a tentative time line by when we can expect a revert and compensation/rectification for the damage.Considering the fact that verbal timelines are not being adhered to I would need a written response for my complaint.

      Hello,

      I am ranjay, and my consignment number is wignblr073022 dispatched from bangalore to sheikhpura (Bihar) on 15th feb 2017. I was confirmed by the company that my consignment would reach the destination by 27th latest. However, despite multiple calls till date (4th march 2017) i have no clue when it will reach sheikhpura (Bihar).

      I have got call from driver that my consignment is at ranchi on 4th march and transport manager has not paid him yet. Even driver is asking from me to pay for it then my consignment will reach on time.

      The customer care representative fails to provide clear answers with reasons for delay. Moreover, how can there be a delay and if at all why is the customer not informed in advance.

      Its seriously very disappointing and bad services by them.

        Hello,

        I am Pritesh Gupta, and my consignment number is WIGNMUM09353 dispatched from Mumbai to Delhi on 20th Feb 2017. I was confirmed by the company that my consignment would reach the destination by 27th latest. However, despite multiple calls till date (28th Feb) I have no clue when it will reach Delhi.

        The customer care representative fails to provide clear answers with reasons for delay. Moreover, how can there be a delay and if at all why is the customer not informed in advance.

        On one hand Agarwal team talks about how well established they are and take full payment as advance and then on the other fail to deliver goods on time.

        Its a shame! and the customers like me should be appropriately compensated for this torture. Lastly, the customer care team had mentioned that they would call back - however no call has been made till now.

        Extremely disappointed to see such a behaviour from a reputed organisation. Even after so many years if the processes are not defined then what kind of business are you guys building?

          Agarwal Packers are the worst packers we have come across. They charged us more and we were assured of the best service. Problems faced:
          1. The packing of the entire house was done in a single day - The packing was done in the most unprofessional manner. Random things were thrown together. You had toiletries, dustbin thrown into along with food items and clothes. Breakable items were placed in cartons and not in crates.

          2. The delivery was supposed to be done in 10 days, they took 26 days to deliver. Also, we had to call them continuously throughout the duration to get a status update. They never contacted us. Also, they indicated that there are not aware where the vehicle is as the said vehicle did not have a GPS. This is the worst answer you can give to a customer who package is already delayed. It seemed that it didn't matter to them whether the goods were going to be delivered or not.

          3. When the delivery happened after 26 days, the cartons were in complete pathetic condition. They were all torn and items were already visible from outside. Some of the items from the crates where hanging outside. Liquid items were placed upside down.

          4. My study table was completely broken and in no condition to be used further. I registered a complaint against it and it took them multiple emails and zillions calls to call me back. It has been two months since the complaint has been made and they have not responded to my complaints. They were supposed to reimburse the insured amount for the study table however they haven't taken any action till date.

          They are the most unprofessional packers I have come across - they don't respond to emails or calls. The customer care people don't know how to address any issues of the customers. They are extremely good at delaying the process till the customer gets fed up and forgets the matter.

          I would strongly request anyone to avoid these packers.

            which were extensively damaged.
            I had to purchase fride, wet grinder
            and other kitchen uttencils for imme
            diate use. I sent photos to your executive me.anand Singh and to others but till now no reply.please
            look into the matter and solve.

              I got my car delivered fron delhi to bangalore. Booking date is 13.12.2016.
              I found low engine oil, empty fuel tank, engine damaged due to overheating, not able to start, fan wires cut, bumper damaged.
              But in top of that to my surprise i found the attached document.
              They are forging docs in the name of indian army to avoid toll taxes.
              Clearly they have driven my car heavily with meter stoped.

              I will forward this doc to indian army and ministry defence also.

                Fake assurance given by ahmdabad office person mr. Mk singh while provide quotation for shifting of house hold goods from ahmdabad to gangtok sikkim with in 8-10 days, it reached after 22 valuable days.
                We received refrigerator, atta chakki and still almirah's sari compartment with bottom drawers in brokem condition.
                We informed to unloading person for same & taken photograph by me, also written on lorry receipt.
                I contaced mr. Dinesh - siliguri branch, he required more photos of damage goods which i provided on dated 25.01.2017, as suggested by siliguri office person - she said that contact repairer & get it repair we will provide you rs. 6000/- to 7000/-
                I told her that person asking rs. 2000/- for visit to check damage then only they provide us estimated repairing charge of all three.
                We are not getting any response or a amount of claim or not repaired our damage goods.
                Pl. Do urgetnly other wise i will knock door of cusmumer forum or file a case against you.

                i received one mail from Silliguri office regarding settalement of my claim & settlement amount is Rs. 22000/- which is not disposited in my account.

                as per requirement I submitted cencalled cheque on dated 16.02.2017 through mail to your Silliguri office.

                Then after I mailed twice to CENTRALIZED CLAIMS <centralized.[protected]@agarwalpackers.com> & APML Siliguri <[protected]@agarwalpackers.com> but they never reply of my mail.

                Pl. reply & diposit settlement amount as soon as possible.

                  This is in reference with the complaint registered with you yesterday over phone.
                  Complaint No. is CP/2017/001417.

                  I have booked a consignment with you dated 13.12.2016 for my i20 Car from Delhi to Bangalore, GC No. is WIGNNDLH061381.

                  I followed with customer care, Sales executive and few more guys for 3-4 days and they were not able to track my car and saying it will be reaching today, tomorrow blah blah.

                  My car was finally delivered to me on the evening 31.12.2016 (more than the promised time of 7-10 days) with below mentioned problems:

                  1. Front bumper broken from right side.
                  2. Diesel tank from half to completely empty whereas milometer reads only 106 km from the reading at the time of booking.
                  3.Car got started with 10-15 secs of self with lot of vibration on engine.
                  4. But the next day morning it didn't start at all, I have to call a mechanic and he said the fan wires were altered, engine oil is low, and the engine is heating, It needs engine repair.
                  5. I have found a ring, a pen and lot of medicine inside the car.
                  6. There was some affidavit from Army officer stating this car belongs to Army personnel and will be transported from Delhi to Secunderabad dated 17.12.2016 to avoid toll taxes etc.
                  7. That clearly proves that the car is driven heavily with milometer wires removed, it got engine problem and it was delayed, somehow managed to start and drive up to Bangalore.

                  Now my car is parked, not able to start. I am facing lot of inconvenience due to the first delay in delivery and now the above problems.

                  Please let me know at the earliest what to do?

                    This communication is to report a complaint regarding my car movement from Noida to Pune. Below are the Facts and details:

                    1. I had paid in cash and booked the delivery on 2nd Feb17 with Agarwalpackers and movers, noida.
                    2. Was told that car will be delivered in 7 days to Pune
                    3. Got a call and mail from desk officer (Nitin Kantiwal)stating that car delivery is delayed and it will be delivered by 11th Feb.
                    4. Company online tracker shows 5 days old data... whats the use of that? Better not to fool customers showing off this stale tool.
                    5. Today I get a call from company's delivery team associate (Mr. Nandan) stating that car delivery is delayed further by 2 more days...I will get car by 13 feb 17. Reason was told to me that the container got breakdown and it took 3 extra days. Do they really think customer will buy this crap?? Atleast give some sensible reason to fool the customer...

                    Now, I am even sure whether my car is safe or damaged during this breakdown...

                    Also, if I have to pay more than double money (in comparison with agarwals packer's competitors ) to the company for this delivery, then i expect a sense of responsibility from thier side.

                    A sorry statement does not allow them to escape from thier responsibilities, would this delay be compensated?????

                    Agrawal PnM never compromise with the rates... then how do I compromise with the service??

                    This was not expected from such a large organization... such an unprofessional deal...

                    I have filled the feedback on thier portal...no response or due diligence call received so far...

                    Please assist.

                      After shifting from m.P to maharashtra-mumbai. No one is available for unpacking of consignment and i have paid for it.
                      One induction cooker got fully damaged. When i claim for it they are not entertaining it and refuses it. I have paid insurance also. Name of company is agarwal packers and movers limited.
                      Desirable resolution for my complaint is to provide me refund of the same.

                        Hose hold items like fridge, bed mattress, bikes were transported from Banaglore to Goa on 18th January 2017.
                        When we received the goods in Goa, the three seater sofa was broken.
                        The reason was that there were two other sofa chairs kept on the three seater sofa, even when there was enough space available in the container.
                        This was total negligence from Agarwals part, and the damage was not due to transportation.(Probably the bad loading was because we didnt give them tips when they asked)
                        They sent carpenter to check and the carpenter said that they will replace the back frame of the three seater sofa, and that they will get the part from Bangalore. We also gave them the contact from Bangalore who was ready to give the part wherever agarwal tells them to give.
                        The reason why we told them to get was because we have totaly shifted from Bangalore to Goa and its not possible to get the part ourselves from Bangalore.
                        After couple of weeks of waiting, they are now saying that they cannot get the part from bangalore and that they are ready to give rupees 1500.
                        If they did not want to get it from bangalore they should have told us prior, and should not have commited.
                        The part itself costs around 2500, and if i go myself to collect it then i have to spend even more on traveling.

                        We paid 30, 000 for shifting our goods from bangalore to goa, and the reason we choose Agarwal is because we wanted our goods to be delivered in safe and unharmed manner.
                        We were getting cheaper deals but did not opt for it.

                          There was the car pickup by Agarwal Packers & Movers team on 25/01/2017 at 5:20 pm from Gurgaon to Navi Mumbai, the services guy confirmed the delivery with in 5 to 6 days, till date i have not received my car at Kamothe Navi Mumbai, neither there was any update from their team nor there was a call from the representative, today morning I myself called the sales representative Neeraj Narang regarding the delivery he said just give me 5 minutes I will check and hung up the call.
                          Fake commitment given for the delivery with in a week. Online payment of Rs.14001 for this shipment has been done well in advance on 25th January 2017 till date I have not received my car. As per your Customer customer care the order has been dispatched from Gurgaon on 2nd February 2017 and will be reaching Navi Mumbai by 8th February.
                          Why?????? What were you guys doing since past 8 days???
                          I need the compensation for the inconvenience caused to me due to this pathetic service by Agarwal Packers & Movers.

                            Is one of the worst Packers and Movers when it comes to domestic moving. I think no better in international as well.

                            When you call you hear all those words, assurance, astha, inspiration...but it just words for them. You pay premium charges for a successful moving of your household things but they are biggest cheater in India.

                            No commitment - You want them to arrive in time for pickup but don't be assured.
                            They give you delivery time, but its only time for them. No value of time for them. they don't bother to complete your assignment on time. I have taken leave on the day of delivery, but they didn't turn out...full day only talk, no status. All they say that are on the way. They didn't even fulfill next day commitment. Insane people are working for agarwal packers and Movers.

                            You want to complaint - you will get to speak with same set of corrupted people. They all running a circus of insane and so called executive.

                            Bottom Line - There is no way you could accelerate your issues or complaints. They are boss there and they do what they do..they don't want to listen or they just listen and don't care who you are.

                              The complaint is against Agarwal movers and packers which claims to be in Limca book of Holders. I booked the consignment WIGNNSR070203 on Sunday, 29th January from Gurgaon. I was told that consignment will reach the destination by 2nd February. However, I called the customer care today (1st February) and I was told that the consignment is still in Gurgaon. After paying the entire charges, my consignment is still lying in Gurgaon for 4 days. A strict action must be taken against this company and a hefty penalty should be imposed for non-compliance on delivery.

                                Unloading charges were not disclosed to me when discussing the quote, nor was submitting an id proof for crossing the border talked about at the time of packing. The employee in coimbatore Mr Mintu failed to disclose me any details about the unloading charges & I am getting to know it the last moment. He is telling the delivery guys that he discussed this with me. But this was never disclosed to me in the first place . I paid 7500 and now only I am seeing the invoice and it has been mentioned that unloading will be done by the party, Being a first time user of packers and movers I wasnt aware or informed about the procedure. Its shady and cheating that the client is not informed about the unloading charges. Also when i called back to check Mr Mintu spoke in an unprofessional way and disconnected my call. Its extremely damaging for a brand like Agarwal.

                                Also i am the consignee and not the party here. Unloading has been mentioned by the party. Now there is extreme confusion and misunderstanding from my part here with respect to the terms used between the party and the consignee.

                                  Sir, i had booked the above packer and movers for shifting my households from Kolkata to Darjeeling on 14/11/2016. The goods was suppose to deliver with in three days but they gave the delivery after one month December 2016. but not only that some of the goods are missing and lost. i have informed about this and as i have transferred the total amount in the account AGARWAL HOUSEHOLD SHIFTING A/C NO [protected]. they asked me extra amount and threaten me if i don't pay extra my goods will not be delivered so i had to pay but the bill amount was just Rs.60720.00. including insurance. now its been more than two months they are neither answering my phone calls nor calling back. i want to complain against this agency owners Mr. Sunny Sing Agarwal and Mr. Ranjit Agarwal. They said they have many branches throughout India but later i found that they are fraud and they have no other branches. i want my insurance as well as compensation for the harassment given by these two brother.

                                    I had made an international shipping from bangalore to berlin in november end.

                                    I had cleared payment in full (Inr 75, 000) december end for my shipment and was promised delivery within one week.

                                    The bill number on the invoice generated by agarwal is inblbng000524 and the tracking number from ups berlin is 1zx0x[protected].

                                    I was inconvenienced multiple times, because i was asked to make multiple calls to ups because the address i had handed over to agarwal packers & movers (Exactly 3 times over phone and email) was incomplete.

                                    I would like to know as to why agarwal packers & movers failed to hand over the exact address when i had written it across multiple e-mails. How difficult is it to copy paste an address?

                                    If this was not harassment enough, my shipment still has not been delivered.

                                    Ups themselves fixed the time of delivery before 11 am one day. I had to stay back, because i was waiting on my stuff. When i called them at 11, i was told that they needed some documents for customs.

                                    I was asked to fill some 6 form for customs, which was in german. Why was this not filled up by agarwal packers & movers in the first place? It took me 2 hours to sit and translate everything from german to english!

                                    Why was i not informed earlier, that my shipment will not reach that day? Is customers time taken for granted? Is it not your responsibility to ensure that my shipment reaches me conveniently, or do you prefer to forget customers after accepting payment in full?

                                    I was again informed that my shipment would reach me this morning, i again took a half day off from work. I was at home, waiting for my stuff, when i got an email saying that recipient was not available hence delivery was not made.

                                    Maybe you do not realize how difficult it is, to survive without your luggage in another country. It was not like i was informed that i will have to survive without my stuff for a month, i would have been prepared had that been the case. I am literally having to survive on one weeks worth of luggage.

                                    After this when i started getting ready for office, i got an angry phone call from the india office, and your agent ‘murali balasubramanian’ from bangalore, was on the line. He was shouting at me in the loudest tone that i have every heard. He was threatening to send my luggage back to india if i do not receive it today. When i asked what time would it be delivered, he said he could not give a time, and i have to make myself available for the entire day. After this, he hung up on me.

                                    I had opted for agarwal packers & movers thinking that your services are premium, but i am sorry to say that i am highly disappointed. Mismanaged delivery is one thing, you have no right to talk to customers like they are your servants. I paid inr 75, 000 to you for my international shipping and inr 35, 000 to you for another domestic shipping. You could not even coordinate a simple delivery to my house. On the contrary, had the audacity to yell at me and then hang up on me. Murali’s tone was only short of abuses, other than that he was talking to me like a goon. Do your agents take liberties in venting out their frustration on women in particular, by trying to yell at them and intimidate them? These definitely are not the kind of services i paid for!

                                    In short, i had to take two half days off from work, make a couple international calls to india, and waste a couple hours here to fill customs forms and to try to coordinate with ups. I was promised delivery within a week, which has now taken up an entire month.in the end, i got humiliated at the hands of some uncouth agent.

                                    I have repeatedly, in my previous emails, been asking for somebody senior whom i can escalate this to, but all of none of your agents are handing over the contact of the india head in charge.

                                    Do you only follow up with customers till the time you pocket their money, and after that conveniently forget about the services that you have been paid for? Do your agents start taking liberties to humiliate customers after the payment has been made in full?

                                    This is a sheer disgrace, i feel, where you claim that customer satisfaction is priority for you, because it clearly isn't. It is really shameful that you hire goons like these to handle services for you! These callous services are definitely not worthy of the amount that you charge.

                                      I transported a Chevrolet Beat using Agarwal Packers and movers ltd from Lucknow to Ahmedabad.
                                      With 18ltr fuel and 58118km odometer reading.
                                      When received in Ahmedabad we were really disappointed when Fuel was at '0 ltr'
                                      and Odometer Reading 56k( Clearly Odometer was tampered).
                                      So the problem is that somebody tampered with my car. The Reading was changed and the reason for that and the empty fuel tank i think is local use of my car without my permission.
                                      Please help me resolve the situation.

                                        Lot of Phone Calls, emails as well as physical visit at your Mysore HUB, Karnataka, but failed to get the ETR of claimed amount. All documents has already been submitted to your office (may be Hyderabad) from Mysore Hub and they also failed to get the same. How Long will i wait for my claimed amount against badly damaged of my Goods which I had been given to Kolkata Hub to Mysore on 2016 March. Who will pay my phone calls, taken leave from office also pain of harassment and interest which was lying from almost one year.
                                        I know no one reply from Delhi or Head office, but I have an option to spread in Social network as well PMO office. Also do not bound me to go Consumer forum or legal Court to get genuine claimed amount.
