I travelled back to India on 20th October from AI 157. I reached India on 21st October 8 AM however the luggage did not arrive. AI informed that the luggage is still in Sweden. I got my luggage after 3 days, 23rd October at 9:30 PM. The base of the bag was broken and it could not stand properly. I kept sending emails for the claim of delay in bag and compensation for the damaged bag but company is not responding. Our luggage was delayed by 3 days and the bag was damaged. When asking for the compensation of delay in luggage and damaged bag, Air India is not responding. Air India Reference Number - DELAI14452

    Sir/madam
    I purchased two flight tickets (Ticket no[protected] & 7833) of air india through makemytrips (Booking id nf[protected]) on 21/10/18 for my two cousion brothers (Satish & vinod) to travel from delhi to pune on 27 oct 18. Due to ongoing roadways conflicts in haryana and some others clashes in my town they could not leave from town on right time and consequently they missed the flight. Later they reached at the booking counter at 1300 o clock and booked another flight of air india paying huge amount. I approached to makemytrips for cancel and refund (Ref no[protected]. Further approached to air india where the customer care executive denied to refund any amount according to the policy. Sir it is unfortunate that please do needful and help me to get the whole ticket amount back. Thank you

      I performed a journey on vacation to my native place purchasing tickets from air india having pnr #: y3337 and e ticket #:[protected]/21/22. The journey was performed from hyderabad to lucknow via new delhi on 13th october 2018 along with my family. After reaching lucknow airport, we have received one of our checked in baggage in open and damaged condition and many items given in hand. The baggage was given at the end when all the passengers left the place so that no other passenger should be able to see what the airport staff is doing with the baggage of passengers. At the preliminary stage we could not find anything missing but when we reached home and checked we found that certain items were missing. When the duty officer was apprised about the incident, he has not shown any interest to find out the cause and shown indifferent behavior. A written complaint is given to the duty officer in this regard. It is highly disappointing and objectionable act by the employees/staff of air india and breach of trust by the airline.

      I made a booking from indore to dubai, but unfortunately i cancelled my booking before 24 hours. airline told me that charges is 200 dhs. but after cancellation air india charged me 310dhs. very bad experience with air india.

        Today my son traveled by 6 pm flight ai 0951
        From vishakapatnam to hyderabad. I did we check in with 28f seat as there appears to be no provision to select a seat of our choice. Then i paid rs 200/- and made a pre reserved seat arrangement of seat 7a. However when he went to the counter the team led by duty manager argued initially that no payment was made and then offered a non existent seat 9d and then finally made him sit in 28f. After making me stand for 45 minutes near their counter at the entrance, the duty manager came and accepted the mistake but was rude in telling that it was a problem with reservation and they can't help and the flight had already departed. Is it not cheating and irresponsibility? Why are the air india staff not having accountability and courtesy? I want to be compensated for this. Please reply immediately after conducting an inquiry.

        I am a student of NIT Srinagar. But my home city is Jammu it is very difficult to travel to Jammu by road due to of landslide and according to our background we will not able to pay many airplane charges. I just suggest you for this please reduce this high charges acc. To income. When I choose student options it gives only just 140 discount .

          My 54-year old wife jhuma de sarkar was coming from chicago on ai 126 on 10.10.2018. The plane is to reach at delhi at 2:35 pm, but it was more than one hour late. She is to connect ai 764 to reach kolkata which is to fly from delhi at 4-55 pm on 11.10.2018. She got a very short time to do all the formalities. She did not get any help from air india staff to quicken the process. She did not get any help of wheelchair. She had to run with her trolley bags from one terminal to distant terminal to catch the plane. One wheel of one trolley bag was broken. When she got the bag at delhi. She is struck with trauma even after long 10 days. She is struck with high pressure. She cannot sleep. She is under treatment. My phone no is [protected]. I do not know what i have to do for this non-cooperation of your staff

            Sunday 6-aug-2017 bom - to del, at boarding counter forgot jacket, blue colour addidas. Lady who give boarding pass, she was at plane entrance, she told that your jacket is there at boarding counter, we count reach at boarding counter as plane was getting late. There was very less time to take off.
            I have called so many times at boarding counter, however received very bad response. No one really want to help and my jacket is i believe got stolen by air india boarding counter employees.
            I had called to lost and found department but no response, called customer care, no response.
            Really bad service by air india, jacket was kept by counter employee however nobody tried to return back, that air india lady called from plane entrance to boarding counter to send jacket however no one support her

              I had cancelled my son's flight booking of flight ( AI144 ) from Newark USA to Mumbai dated 20th Sept.18 on 17th Sept.18.
              1. I had received cancellation confirmation from Air India ( through mail [protected]@airindia.com dated 17th Sept.18) with attachment of en _US_receipt shown Refund amount o[censored]SD 335.90 will be credited to my SBI credit card.
              2. After receipt of my SBI card statement I found that refund amount credited is o[censored]SD 214.90.
              3. Refund amount difference is o[censored]SD 111.90.
              4. I had sent mail on 27th Sept.18 to Air India & SBI credit card for amount difference but there is no response from Air India for my complaint.

                I met with a man who is working in my present company and he introduced himself as L&T officer in Air India and he is in Medical leave period this he joined this company. He said that he will join Air India as assistant manager in the month of November. He offered the job to me and my colleagues and he asked for 25000/- money as security deposit and he sensed me some Air India documents also that I ll attach with this message.
                Later I waited for his response for interview but no one called me for the interview and then I said him to return my money then he said by tomorrow I ll send like this 3 months ago he not refunded my full amount.
                His name is Dilip Jain.
                Kindly please stop this type of fraudulent happen against reputed company and put him into the jail under section of IPC against fraud.

                    I booked air india flight from mumbai to singapore to travel to indonesia (Jet star was my flight from singapore to bali) on 12th oct 2018. I called customer care 2-3 times they did not share any information regarding i will need visa at singapore or not. Final i called singapore immigrations and they told me its airlines which will tell you whether you would need visa or not as they will know which terminal they land and how to get through connecting flight. I hate worst experience as had to cancel the flights cause i could not get visa in such short duration. Please look into this and how to air india plans to compensate for my time loss, money loss and mental harassment. If not treated on priority, will make sure to go to civil aviation authority as i don't think its a normal issue. What if i would have been stranded at singapore airport.

                      Good morning. I had booked my ticket through goibibo app from new delhi to bangkok dated on 13 november to 20 november, when i searched app shaw me air india flight available on that days but when i make a payment ticket booked on 12 november to 19 november. Immidiately i called to customer care then they replied we booked your complaint and reply it 24 to 48 hours but no response. I make a call again on 9 october then they replied if you want to change then you have to paid fine and difference. Sir kindly help me i can't pay 12000 more for this booking. Pls help me. I will be highly oblige to you.

                          Dear air india,

                          I want to bring your notice to the unfortunate incident happened with me and the mental harassment i had to go through on 2nd oct 2018 travelling by air india ai617 from mumbai to hyderabad.

                          At mumbai terminal 2 air india counter, i checked in my baggage (Slip number ai864823, [protected]). When i collected my bag at hyderabad airport belt number 2, i was shocked and disappointed to see that it was damaged very badly. Immediately i reported at the hyderabad airport designated air india counter who deals with damaged and lost baggage. I explained them the incident completely and shown them the damaged checked in bag. Though they agreed that this is the mistake happened from air india but did not provided me a solution towards replacement of my damage. When i requested them to provide me a complaint form they denied to take my written complaint though the complaint form was available with your ground staff.

                          Me and my family are frequent travelers by air india and hope our relationship will continue. With this trust i would like you to look into this matter as top priority and kindly provide me replacement of my bag (I purchased my bag at a cost of rs 5400/- few months back).

                          For your reference/evidence i can send the photographs taken at hyderabad airport air india counter displaying my damaged bag to your ground staff.

                            I(Aparna Hiremath) and my sister(Pallavi Hiremath) had a flight from Bangalore to Hyderabad on Air India flight 977 at 5 and I had been trying to check in since 9 in the morning. We reached the airport and 4;15 and they did not let us in and one of your employees is shouting at us to come atleast by 4:15 to check in. We were there and they did not do anything but miss behave.

                              Hi.. This is regarding my ticket booked with air india for flight scheduled for aug 26 from kochi to mumbai. It has been a month since the flight was cancelled and i still haven't recieved my refund. I have emailed [protected]@airindia.in on sept 5 regarding my refund but still have not recieved any response from them. The customer care stated that the refund would be recieved in 15 working days. But it has been more than 15 working days now and i still haven't recieved it
                              Air india has not done anything to initmate the customer regarding the refund.. You have taken my money and not ready to give it back

                                I booked air india flight ai764, ai9731 connecting flight from delhi to pasighat on 01 and 02 oct 18 respectively on 23 sep 18 under armed forces category. Due to some commitments, i had to cancel the flight within 24 hrs of booking. I paid rs 7561 for booking the connecting flight and is being charged rs5250 (Rs2625 per sector) for cancellation. This refunds me an amount of just rs 2311. The refund is not justified as the flight ticket individually for kolkata (Intermediate station) to pasighat costs rs 2150 only but i am being charged rs 2150+5%tax as cancellation charge which is actually more than the booking amount. This is mere loot by air india which otherwise offers 100% refund to flights from usa but no consideration for domestic travellers. I intend to raise my concern to aviation minister and resolve this issue at the earliest.

                                  I have purchased long straight hair wig from club factory and it was delivered on 04/09/2018 .my order number is so43127836 . i cheeked the item but I was not that exactly in color it was whiting color instead of golden which I ordered, and I wanted to returned at the same time but that delivery man told me that you can follow the process of return but I don’t know the procedure .this was my first experience with club factory I hope you can help me to return my hair wig.

                                    Air india flight no. Al 932 jeddah to bombay 20th september 2018 got delayed for 3-4 hours. The haj passengers mostly aged above 50 years all are in a bad state without any compensation or food services no place to rest. They are asked to travel via another flight which is jeddah to bombay via hyderabad which will reach bombay almost at the same time as their delayed flight plus they have limitations on the weight of the luggage to be carried in the via hyderabad flight. Please take immediate action against this.

                                      I booked on ai9644 flight from jaipur to delhi for 15th september 2018. Pnr/ ref no. Is hpmww. (Eticket no.098 [protected]) flight was scheduled to depart at 20:25. It was delayed and last message received informing expected departure at 23:55. I got a call from jaipur air india office about the delay and they gave the option to cancell the ticket with full refund. I requested them to cancell the ticket. I was told that refund will be sent to the travel agent through whom ticket was booked.
                                      Today i checked with my agent m/s pinky forex but they told me that they have not received any information from air india nor their system shows the cancellation of ticket. I called the helpline number of air india and talked to one mr satish. He was of no help. He didnt know to whom i should approach for solution.
                                      Pl look into the matter and refund the full ticket amount at the earliest.

                                        I recently made a complaint to air india on 09th september 2018 following their appalling decision to deny me boarding the mumbai to london flight on 04th september 2018. This is because they overbooked and although i had a valid confirmed ticket, me and my 2 young children were denied boarding at 4am in the morning. I was dealt with very unsympathetically and was treated very badly when i tried to reason why they overbooked the flight and who's brilliant decision was it to deny a mother with two young children boarding.
                                        As expected, i still haven't received a reply from air india regarding my complaint whereas i was told i will receive a response within 72 hours. I am looking for air india to compensate me for the harrassment and inconvenience caused and would really appreciate your help in this matter. Dgca website clearly explains that i am due compensation and air india are now ignoring me.
                                        I would like to say that air india is a disgrace to india and really doesn't see their customers needs. They fail to realise that their jobs are there because people like us travel by them. I will never in my life travel by air india ever again. Totally ashamed.
                                        As this website clearly says no to to include personal i formation i havent included my complaint reference. Is there a secure way i can send the relevant information to you.
