I and my wife traveled from New Delhi to Newwak on AI 191flight on 23/10/2017 our booking reference is YNEL2.I am to say that we submitted the request for wheelchair immediately after booking and the request was confirmed but were not provided wheelchairs at New Delhi.We requested many times to supervisor at desk but none helped and inspire of helping the wheelchair staff misbehaved with my wife using rough language.Please look into the same and take proper action under intimation to us.

    This is to inform you that a serious lapse has been by your airline and it is being requested that required action may be taken to save the reputation of your company as the member of biggest airline network of the world. The lapse is as follows:

    I have booked ticket for myself with family with booking reference no AIBE35048943. J8WL6 The booking was made for journey from Surat to Patna via Delhi and back. In the very start of the journey from Surat to Delhi on 14 October 2017, as per booking, the seats have been allotted as 9D 9E 9F and 8 F. However, at the time of check-in the seats have been changed to 9 E 9F 10 D and 11 F by the booking clerk. The allotted seats has been changed without informing me and new allotment of seats forced my family to seat separately at different far off places during the journey. Since it was a pleasure trip for my family, you airline has forced upon a sense of doom in very beginning of journey. A complain has been lodged with the booking clerk and he answered that this is the airline policy. At the ticket counter Shri Milan Italia was the booking clerk. It's a matter of surprise to me that your airline can change the pre-booked seats at any point of time without any reason or prior intimation causing mental agony to the passengers.

    I am lodging this complain to enquire about that whether the change in pre-booked seats was intentionally done by the booking clerk or it was done by the airline and also to help your airline to give better service in future and to look for that in future that such agony may not be caused again to me or any other passenger.

    It is also requested that I may also be informed about the action taken on this complaint and answer as to why pre-booked seats have been changed in my case at check in counter. Hoping that an appropriate and satisfying reply may be sent to me at the earliest.

      Hi air india customer service team,

      I would like to launch an official complaint regarding quite a few things, all noted below for two pnrs - ydgr4 (Passenger - priyanka rathi) and hkxw6 (Prabhat rathi) :-

      1. This is in regards to date change request for above pnr’s due to two hour delay in domestic flight on 23rd october from jodhpur to delhi and 24th october delhi to london. We had called from mobile number [protected] multiple times after receving notification from air india that our flight has been delayed more than 2 hours. We hence asked for a date change for both passengers while on toll free number with your customer service team. We called twice, second time to speak to a floor supervisor and for this request we were told there was no supervisor on the floor, and then the same professional told us he is on another call and then after pressing the issue our call was forwarded to ragav indra. First complaint is that you postponed our flight without giving us enough notice as you dropped us an email so close to the actual flight without a call or an sms, i think thats because you do not want the hassle of helping your customers in case they need any help. Second is that your representative lies to customers at their will. I dont understand why wouldnt you want to talk to your customers in need - perhaps you should think of closing your call centres.

      2. My third complaint is that when we called third time to your toll free number still well in advance of the 12 hour deadline for date change your call centre professional said that we should go and speak with air india office in jodhpur ratanada as they will help us. As told we went their and met station manager and office manager vikas sharma who both gave us assurance that they will help us postpone our ticket but they delayed it until so late, later saying that the office is now closing. Again we called the call centre and they did not help and send this is now no show. You guys wasted 10 hours of our time making us go round in circles before making it too late for us to be able to get date change without no show penalty. Pathetic you are. Shame on you. If you didnt have my country’s name associated with your company name i would have given you so much abuse. You are a disgrace to this country and your customer. You suck at customer service. Vikas sharma spoke to us so rudely as well and so did his manager.

      3. Flight delays - your flight our delayed so frequently. My in laws travelled from london to jodhpur on 3rd september and their flight from delhi to jodhpur on 4th september got delayed by 2 hours (Only 1 hour delay was communicated to us in the email). My wife travelled from london to jodhpur on 20th september and her flight from delhi to jodhpur on 21st september got delayed by 2 hours. I travelled from london to jodhpur on 1st october and my flight from delhi to jodhpur on 2nd october got delayed by 2 hours. This is unacceptable. You cannot do this at your will. I hope dgca you are taking note of this. I have all the emails of delays communicated to us.

      The summary is that you made us so late by serving us so badly by giving mis information, lying about availability of your supervisor on floor and rudeness at your offices plus making us go in circles that our return flights from jodhpur to delhi on 23rd oct and delhi to london on 24th october went in vain. I will go back to london and raise this under section 75 with my credit card company.

      Lastly - humble request to ‘[protected]@dgca’ please help customer like us to bring companies like air india to a rightful path.

      Air india - we expect a call from you asap to resolve this otherwise we may go to consumer court.

        Dear sir,
        My son alongwith his wfe & 2 yrs child were to board air india flight ai-913 from igi airport for dammam (Saudi arabia) on 21oct to be departed at 12.45 am.in spite of reaching the airport at 8.30 pm on 20 oct they got the boarding passes at 10.15 pm and got the check in done at 12.15 am due to heavy rush. They reached the gate at 12.25 after informing boarding manager rakhi gogia but denied entry as the gate was closed. They tried their level best to convince the lady but to no avail. The flight took off at 12.36 am, 9 minutes earlier to the scheduled departure leaving behind my son and some other passangers also. The passangers were harassed and mentaly perturbed. My son got everything cancelled and left for dammam next morning by spending rs 53000 extra. They had no arrangements for child for overnight stay. Reasons for early closing of gate and take off before time are not known. It is also to be found out who travelled on their seats nos 11a, b &c booked on 10 sept 2017.

            Passenger srinivas gotur, for flight no 0101 to delhi from mumbai had horrowing time at check in counter as there were only two counters open and after standing in queue for 35 mins, he could not achieve bag drop (As he had web checked in) : after serious verbal complaint by approx 8 passengers, they were allowed bag drop and had to rush for boarding the flight : extra-ordinarily poor service and thereby passenger harassment

              My flight was from ccu to delhi at 5.30pm on 21th october. Flight was cancelled wich was informed to me at 8.30pm. I called the air india for anykind of arrangement bcz i was with my 2yrs little kid. Unfortunately air india didnt give any kind of assistance. I was compeled to buy a costly ticket by 16318rs, where as my previous ticket was only 6728rs.
              I need a compensation money for my harrasment..

                I had booked a flight from bhopal to hyderabad for 22nd oct in june. And as customer's responsibility we called air india helpdesk on 20th oct regarding flight's status we got the information that flight is on track with no delays and also the help desk person has asked for the contact details to be updated on website.

                But when we reached airport which is 2hrs. Away from the city, air india agent sitting there has informed us that the flight has been cancelled and there is no other flight for the same day.

                This is the real experience i had with air india services and a very bad review for the help desk since they haven't informed anything about the flight postponed even though they asked for the contact details.

                This is just an alert for the passengers traveling from air india. Please don't rely on their helpdesk and try not to prefer to air india flights.

                @air india helpdesk employees.
                1) please don't sleep while talking to some customer looking for help on call. And please don't just ask the contact details on phone, try to update the same in website and until it's updated don't give such a wrong information that it's updated.

                2) my request to air india agents pleas do not underestimate the passengers travelling from your flights and try to keep them informed so they need not to suffer because of your poor services. It can be beneficial for both of the passengers as well as for your company's image also.

                  This is to bring to ur notice that my brother farooq. M. Ahmed travelled on date 16th oct 2017 from saudi riyad to goa via mumbai. Flight detail a1922, a1661 air india. My new purchased american touristor trolley bag is badly damaged n thereis a crack above one of the wheel. Price of the bag is 240 saudi riyal that means 4080/-rs.
                  When discussing to the person at airpot they say cant help it they r not responsible.
                  Now who will bear this. Airindia such a reputed dept will behave in such a manner n unneccessary we will have to bear loss because of the irresponsible staff n their character people will travel with other company flights. I want compensation for my loss. Pls do the needfulasap. Waiting for possitive reply.

                    I had travelled in air india on ltc from jodhpur to port blair. The route followed by me was jodhpur-delhi-chennai-port blair and reverse journey back.

                    I had booked my ticket through air india website multi city option after selecting economy class. However, one of the leg i. E. From port blair to chennai on 01 oct 17, i was given seat in business class in a clandestine manner. I was not warned or cautioned about it at all. The snapshot taken by me for port blair chenai route, for travel date of 01 oct 17, indicating economy class selection, is attached as annexure a. The flights shown to me were all of economy class. The invoice for all four members of the family are attached as annexure b to annexure e.

                    Even during boarding, though the seats were in business class, the boarding pass was of economy class (Attached as annexure f to annexure j). I took it as an upgrade given to me. I realised the erroneous booking only when i landed in chennai and checked my tickets thoroughly.

                    I being authorised only economy fare will not get reimbursement for business class. Thus, i will incur a substantial loss. Since the mistake occurred because of incorrect booking into business class by air india website, despite me selecting economy class and the website showing economy class (Annexure a) at the time of booking, i would like to request you that the difference in ltc fares between business class and economy class for the port blair - chennai leg for self and family may please be reimbursed from airline side.

                    Ps. It is also relevant to mention that none of the business class seats were occupied by any other passenger. Thus, though we occupied these seats, it was not at the cost of airline losing any business class passenger.

                      Respected sir,
                      On 9th october i had to travel from mumbai to bhopal (Bom), ai 633 and i had already checked-in via web that was scheduled at 6:00 am according to e-ticket.

                      Later, i got an sms at 21:14 pm saying, "dear passenger, due ongoing construction work in mumbai in area roads leading to airport and likely traffic congestion, take precautions to arrive in time for departures." keeping in mind, i reached international terminal t2 at 10pm on 8 october 2017 as it have to travel from pune to mumbai.

                      I was in luggage check-in queue. I saw that some air-india guy asking for people about the city and took them out as there flight have to board, mine city is also there. When asked about the guidance, i was been misguided by the concerned authorities, as i didn't have the absolute knowledge of travelling airways. I was been told to get the boarding submit my luggage at the counter and was been told to reach at the boarding security check. I was completely baffled and followed the directions provided to me by the officials.

                      Albeit a clearance for the luggage, the security found a deodorant in my luggage and finally after knowing my plight of being already late, he took a decision to throw it and later i headed towards the international terminal at 5.40pm.


                      When i checked in the counter of air india, to my wonder the authority responsible to be available for us was busy over phone ignoring all the queries made to him for a several times. He was responsible to do the final paper and confirmation of boarding my flight (Ai 633) where another issue bumped into me saying "if you want to board the flight, you need to get back to the check-in counter and talk to the manager" the lady over there tried a few times to contact the authority but no avail. Later i had to wait for the senior person who again wasted my time. To my surprise the officials made a spoof of mine and told me to cancel my ticket. When i asked about any other option to resolve this the officer was not at all keen to pay heed to me. Later they connected me to the air india office and they suggested me to buy the tickets again that too with the increased rate and was unable to pay so much amount at a time.

                      A very disappointing experience wasn't expected from such an esteemed airline company. Their lack of co-ordination and miscommunication led me to a great loss of not reaching my hometown the day when i was supposed to go. What kind of service air india is providing? It's really shameful for them to blame the passengers for the delay or miss their flight when they are in a fault.

                      A day wasted, energy, money, calm and the respect for the air india has nose-dived to a next level where i would not ever recommend someone to book their tickets via this hopeless airlines. My important official paper work which was scheduled the day after landing my hometown was missed. I am suffering a great loss.

                      Kindly consider this as my humble request to refund the ticket money.

                        Respected sir,
                        Today me and my family was about to travel from chennai (Maa) to trivandrum (Trv) for ai 976 with departure time at 6.15 pm. We alreday did web check-in.
                        As it is a domestic travel, we reached to domestic gate by 5.15 pm. I am pregnant and i was accompanied with my husband and mother in law. Airport authorities in domestic terminals misdirected us to different departure points and finally one person told that the flight will be from international terminal. We were very much confused and started walking towards international terminal. And then we got help airport shuttle cab from apollo services and reached international terminal by exactly 5.40.
                        We went to the check in counter of air india and it was mentioned closed. Person at the counter was just telling that counter is closed and we finished checkin early. We were very much confused and worried. He told us to talk to a officer
                        Of the air india services who was sitting in next counter. He also told the same. We requested whether he can do something and he was not all listening to our excuses. We were not intimated by air india about the terminal or early checkin completion though we did web checkin. Then they tried and asked us to keep the baggage for weight check and i really dont know what happened. One more officer came and asked the other officer to quickly do the tagging. Suddenly they stopped the procedure and told again that not possible. We requested it is ok even if we get the baggage delayed at trivandrum. They wasted almost 15 min in this discussion and still there was 15 more minutes for flight departure. They directed us to the air india office over there and again there they told the same thing. We asked for re-schedule of the tickets and they calculated the fare as around 18 k for the next day. We are so frustrated and sad by the behavior of the airport authorities, because of the conversations and time waste we had to cancel the tickets as we cannot afford 18 k for re-scheduling.
                        If anyone in the authority was considerate about the situation as the main delay happened because of terminal change which was not known to us and unwanted conversations.
                        Kindly consider this as my humble request to refund the ticket money of three o[censored]s.

                          I traveled with my wife from mumbai to calicut by air india on 6th may, 2017 with two check - in baggages. When we reached calicut one of the check - in baggages did not arrive which contained our dresses required for the marriage function next day morning. Therefore, we had to hurriedly purchase dresses from the local market costing about rs. 13000/-
                          The short landed check - in baggage was handed over to us next day on 7th may, 2017 in the night time around 11.30pm. By that time the marriage function was over and the luggage containing the marriage dresses were not at all useful to us.
                          We wrote to the ccj airport manager requesting him to reimburse the amount spent by us due to airlines mistake and carelessness.
                          But in his reply dated 18th may, 2017, he refused to reimburse the amount siting delay in delivering the baggage due to traffic jam.
                          The reply is not at all acceptable to us. Hence the unnecessary expenditure has to be reimbursed to us.

                            They have not mentioned the post details not the vacancy number and they took 1000 rupees draft too from lots of candidates and then conducted fake interview and no facilities were there to stand and contact no to ask about the results were fake too and next day only the advertisement deleted from the site kindly refund our mount or take some action for wasting our money and time...                               Good evening,

                              This is to bring to your notice that i firoz khan was supposed to board flight # ai330, mumbai to bangkok on 30th september 2017 boarding at 1:50 am.

                              I was on time and while checking the lady took 30 mins and told to me that the system is stand by and you need to wait.

                              After, that my concern was routed to the air india supervisor who told me that you cannot board the flight bcoz of overbooked.

                              Unfortunately i was not able to understand when my ticket is confirmed and i was on time, what does overbooked stand for.

                              This was the first time incident happened with me which is called overbooked.

                              Anyways, the supervisor told me that i can give you next flight that is jet airways, which again he was not sure that there will be a confirm ticket and wanted to wait till 8:00 am. Again jet too was not confirm my question is when i booked air india why i should fly with other airline. I am flying on 1st october 2017 which the supervisor told me i can give you next air india flight which is after 24 hours.

                              My concern is i was suppose to be present on that day. I had very important business meeting and also there are many monetary losses. I wasted my precious time in airport. Till 4: 00 am i was there to get the option. Which below are the list of losses occurs due to bumped off.

                              Bangkok to phuket flight.
                              Hotel booking in phuket.
                              Seminar charges.
                              Phuket island tour

                              I have read and understood the rights of bumping our from a flight.

                              Request you to please look into the matter and provide me solution.

                                Initially the scheduled departure and arrival time of the flight (Ai 776) was at 10.55am and 12.25pm respectively.
                                But the flight got delayed for hours and the airlines didn't even provide any information to passengers. They showed only delayed in the screen for hours and hours. When passengers got frustrated and asked for information when the flight will be departed, then one of the staff who came at 12.30 to provide us refreshments (According to them which was more important than the departure of flight). That staff kept calling his supervisors and his duty managers but couldn't give us any information about the departure time of the flight he kept saying it may take 2 to 4 hours or it can be more than that or they can even cancel the flight and the most horrible part is the reason of the delay was the bad weather condition of kolkata which was not all in the picture because the flight was from bhubaneswar to hyderabad. While booking they didn't mention that it was a connecting flight which will go first to kolkata then it will again come back to bhubaneswar then to hyderabad.. Seriously?? Means what common air india you don't have aircrafts to give direct flight. If it's connecting why the hell passengers will be get affected who ll be travelling from bhubaneswar to hyderabad. Most of the passengers were about to rejoin their office after holidays and because of this stupid reason they couldn't what is the reason?? They have booked ticket from bhubaneswar to hyderabad but they are suffering and they're waiting from morning 9 to evening because kolkata had bad weather. We are not at all responsible for this they could have provided another flight... They had enough time for arrangements as well but not they kept waiting their passengers for long 5-6 hours. Still i am waiting for the flight its 5.30 evening but they didn't provide us any flight. When we are asking they are telling us to call helpline for the information. This is my first time in air india and it's nightmare. Guys don't book tickets in air india.

                                  I was to travel with my 8 months baby in air india flight from hyderabad to kolkata today at 13:15. The flight got delayed due to bad weather condition at kolkata. The air india staff didn't inform me prior arrival to the airport, otherwise i would have not travelled to airport. I haven't got any compensation for the delay. I am carrying 2 luggages and 1 cabin baggage, while asked for the cloak room they said i have to pay for using the cloak room. I asked for access to lobby as i need to feed my baby, the staff says cannot use it unless i checked in. I cannot check-in since the flight is delayed and cannot access the airport facility since i haven't checked-in. I have wasted my time and money to hyderbad airport paid for the to and fro taxi to airport, the staff has booked my next flight for tomorrow and asked me to call the staff before starting for airport. Why the staff don't practively inform the affected customers due to delay? The only thing they will provide is a porter service for tomorrow's flight and 2 kg extra luggage, i had already paid for extra luggage.
                                  It is a pathetic service offered to the customer in an world class international airport. There is no special assistance provided for mother carrying babies and atlast i need to bear all my expenses for the delay

                                    Hi,
                                    This mail is in reference with pnr j6k2q. The flight was boarded from delhi to lucknow and had got two baggage checked in.
                                    We received one of the baggage that was damaged. The hand of the trolley was missing. This was a serious issue not meant to be taken so lightly.
                                    It took us a while to identify the baggage when we realized that this is the only one.

                                      A ticket was kept on hold on 28.09.2017 around 2020hrs with pnrno. Hstlr [lucknow to jaipur 3.12.2017] for rs. 2507/-inr through customer care no. [protected]. It was on hold till 6.10.2017[2020hrs]. Today around 1500hs i went air india jaipur office to confirm the time ticket and payment. I was informed by the counter [nehru place, jaipur ] that now ticket cost is rs. 3500/-. Though i was informed by the customer care that till 6.10.2017 the fare will remain same inclusive of taxes. Due to incomplete information by customer care, i have suffered a loss of rs. 1000/- please help me and consider my case. I want to travel as per plan of pnr no. Hstlr if the fare of rs. 2507/- is provided to me as one time relaxation due to the fault of air india. My contact no. [protected] email [protected]@yahoo.co.in

                                        I had booked air ticket from chicago to pune via delhi from your esteemed organisation, pnr no. Hvn2p[protected]=aibe34316295, date of journey was 21.09.2017.
                                        I did not want to travel from new delhi to pune. Therefore, on 8th 0f sept. 2017,
                                        I contacted customer care center no.[protected] for knowing the refund rules on cancellation ticket from new delhi to pune. During discussions i was informed that fare of new delhi to pune is rs.7500 and same would be refunded provided i had to send an email to [protected]@airindia.in and on my request customer. Accordingly, i told him (Customer care executive) to cancel the ticket from new delhi to pune and he cancelled the ticket and immediately i mailed to [protected]@airindia.in on 09.09.2017 and their reply received on 10.09.2017 stating denial of any refund on cancellation of ticket due to partially utilised ticket submitted for refund, discount is withdrawn. Had this fact informed to me, i would not have asked for cancellation of ticket and traveled on ticket. By misleading information, i had to suffer a loss of rs.7500 which may be arranged to refund to me.
                                        I request your good self to examine the matter and arrange to refund the amount and educate and instruct the customer care center staff to give the correct information to the customers.
