I traveled with my wife from mumbai to calicut by air india on 6th may, 2017 with two check - in baggages. When we reached calicut one of the check - in baggages did not arrive which contained our dresses required for the marriage function next day morning. Therefore, we had to hurriedly purchase dresses from the local market costing about rs. 13000/-
The short landed check - in baggage was handed over to us next day on 7th may, 2017 in the night time around 11.30pm. By that time the marriage function was over and the luggage containing the marriage dresses were not at all useful to us.
We wrote to the ccj airport manager requesting him to reimburse the amount spent by us due to airlines mistake and carelessness.
But in his reply dated 18th may, 2017, he refused to reimburse the amount siting delay in delivering the baggage due to traffic jam.
The reply is not at all acceptable to us. Hence the unnecessary expenditure has to be reimbursed to us.

    They have not mentioned the post details not the vacancy number and they took 1000 rupees draft too from lots of candidates and then conducted fake interview and no facilities were there to stand and contact no to ask about the results were fake too and next day only the advertisement deleted from the site kindly refund our mount or take some action for wasting our money and time...       Good evening,

      This is to bring to your notice that i firoz khan was supposed to board flight # ai330, mumbai to bangkok on 30th september 2017 boarding at 1:50 am.

      I was on time and while checking the lady took 30 mins and told to me that the system is stand by and you need to wait.

      After, that my concern was routed to the air india supervisor who told me that you cannot board the flight bcoz of overbooked.

      Unfortunately i was not able to understand when my ticket is confirmed and i was on time, what does overbooked stand for.

      This was the first time incident happened with me which is called overbooked.

      Anyways, the supervisor told me that i can give you next flight that is jet airways, which again he was not sure that there will be a confirm ticket and wanted to wait till 8:00 am. Again jet too was not confirm my question is when i booked air india why i should fly with other airline. I am flying on 1st october 2017 which the supervisor told me i can give you next air india flight which is after 24 hours.

      My concern is i was suppose to be present on that day. I had very important business meeting and also there are many monetary losses. I wasted my precious time in airport. Till 4: 00 am i was there to get the option. Which below are the list of losses occurs due to bumped off.

      Bangkok to phuket flight.
      Hotel booking in phuket.
      Seminar charges.
      Phuket island tour

      I have read and understood the rights of bumping our from a flight.

      Request you to please look into the matter and provide me solution.

        Initially the scheduled departure and arrival time of the flight (Ai 776) was at 10.55am and 12.25pm respectively.
        But the flight got delayed for hours and the airlines didn't even provide any information to passengers. They showed only delayed in the screen for hours and hours. When passengers got frustrated and asked for information when the flight will be departed, then one of the staff who came at 12.30 to provide us refreshments (According to them which was more important than the departure of flight). That staff kept calling his supervisors and his duty managers but couldn't give us any information about the departure time of the flight he kept saying it may take 2 to 4 hours or it can be more than that or they can even cancel the flight and the most horrible part is the reason of the delay was the bad weather condition of kolkata which was not all in the picture because the flight was from bhubaneswar to hyderabad. While booking they didn't mention that it was a connecting flight which will go first to kolkata then it will again come back to bhubaneswar then to hyderabad.. Seriously?? Means what common air india you don't have aircrafts to give direct flight. If it's connecting why the hell passengers will be get affected who ll be travelling from bhubaneswar to hyderabad. Most of the passengers were about to rejoin their office after holidays and because of this stupid reason they couldn't what is the reason?? They have booked ticket from bhubaneswar to hyderabad but they are suffering and they're waiting from morning 9 to evening because kolkata had bad weather. We are not at all responsible for this they could have provided another flight... They had enough time for arrangements as well but not they kept waiting their passengers for long 5-6 hours. Still i am waiting for the flight its 5.30 evening but they didn't provide us any flight. When we are asking they are telling us to call helpline for the information. This is my first time in air india and it's nightmare. Guys don't book tickets in air india.

          I was to travel with my 8 months baby in air india flight from hyderabad to kolkata today at 13:15. The flight got delayed due to bad weather condition at kolkata. The air india staff didn't inform me prior arrival to the airport, otherwise i would have not travelled to airport. I haven't got any compensation for the delay. I am carrying 2 luggages and 1 cabin baggage, while asked for the cloak room they said i have to pay for using the cloak room. I asked for access to lobby as i need to feed my baby, the staff says cannot use it unless i checked in. I cannot check-in since the flight is delayed and cannot access the airport facility since i haven't checked-in. I have wasted my time and money to hyderbad airport paid for the to and fro taxi to airport, the staff has booked my next flight for tomorrow and asked me to call the staff before starting for airport. Why the staff don't practively inform the affected customers due to delay? The only thing they will provide is a porter service for tomorrow's flight and 2 kg extra luggage, i had already paid for extra luggage.
          It is a pathetic service offered to the customer in an world class international airport. There is no special assistance provided for mother carrying babies and atlast i need to bear all my expenses for the delay

            Hi,
            This mail is in reference with pnr j6k2q. The flight was boarded from delhi to lucknow and had got two baggage checked in.
            We received one of the baggage that was damaged. The hand of the trolley was missing. This was a serious issue not meant to be taken so lightly.
            It took us a while to identify the baggage when we realized that this is the only one.

              A ticket was kept on hold on 28.09.2017 around 2020hrs with pnrno. Hstlr [lucknow to jaipur 3.12.2017] for rs. 2507/-inr through customer care no. [protected]. It was on hold till 6.10.2017[2020hrs]. Today around 1500hs i went air india jaipur office to confirm the time ticket and payment. I was informed by the counter [nehru place, jaipur ] that now ticket cost is rs. 3500/-. Though i was informed by the customer care that till 6.10.2017 the fare will remain same inclusive of taxes. Due to incomplete information by customer care, i have suffered a loss of rs. 1000/- please help me and consider my case. I want to travel as per plan of pnr no. Hstlr if the fare of rs. 2507/- is provided to me as one time relaxation due to the fault of air india. My contact no. [protected] email [protected]@yahoo.co.in

                I had booked air ticket from chicago to pune via delhi from your esteemed organisation, pnr no. Hvn2p[protected]=aibe34316295, date of journey was 21.09.2017.
                I did not want to travel from new delhi to pune. Therefore, on 8th 0f sept. 2017,
                I contacted customer care center no.[protected] for knowing the refund rules on cancellation ticket from new delhi to pune. During discussions i was informed that fare of new delhi to pune is rs.7500 and same would be refunded provided i had to send an email to [protected]@airindia.in and on my request customer. Accordingly, i told him (Customer care executive) to cancel the ticket from new delhi to pune and he cancelled the ticket and immediately i mailed to [protected]@airindia.in on 09.09.2017 and their reply received on 10.09.2017 stating denial of any refund on cancellation of ticket due to partially utilised ticket submitted for refund, discount is withdrawn. Had this fact informed to me, i would not have asked for cancellation of ticket and traveled on ticket. By misleading information, i had to suffer a loss of rs.7500 which may be arranged to refund to me.
                I request your good self to examine the matter and arrange to refund the amount and educate and instruct the customer care center staff to give the correct information to the customers.

                  I belong to a corporate and book tickets on air india on regular basis. I need gst invoices so that we can take credit of the same. But even after regular follow-ups on mails and calls, i have still not got any resolution or revert on mails. The invoices are pending since july and it is a big loss to us as we are unable to take the gst credit. The customer care executives simply deny that they cannot help me out in anyway and the officials are also not bothered to revert back.

                  Worst customer service of air india..!!!

                    I booked flight ai9803 delhi-shimla for 30/09/2017 for my family having
                    Pnr - y1cdf, z1t71, jz0pw

                    I was informed cancellation of flight on the day of travelling in connecting flight from mumbai-delhi. You did not informed me about alternate arrangement nor call centre was knowing. Nobody responded on customer support telephone.

                    I had to cancel my entire holiday and return air tickets which cost me loss of about rs 50000/-. I had return ticket in ai 9804 on 14/10/2017 which i had to cancel with penalty for your fault

                      This is regarding refund of rs. 5040 paid for extra baggage booked for ticket number[protected]Emd number[protected]. I had booked and paid extra baggage for travel from ahemadabad to mumbai, but there was change in schedule so we had to cancel my journey. I am continuously following up with call center rep since 4th sept 2017 but they have only one reply that refund will be processed within a week and they will call back on my number once it is processed, but it never gets processes

                      Take this on priority and process refund as its been more than 3 weeks since i initiated the cancellation & refund process

                        Air india does not care about their passenger. This is the third bad experience with air india. My flight was scheduled to depart at 9:45 a:m but how can i forget that i again made a mistake traveling through air india. A day before around 10:14 pm at night i got a message saying your flight will depart at 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon. Now because of this i have to miss my office. Who will compensate the loss which is incurred due to air india. This is so bad experience again and now i promise to myself that i will never travel again with air india.. Lesson learned for lifetime.

                          Sir,

                          Due to certain problem on online booking, your airindia booking site had issued two tickets for me, with identical input information provided having pnr nos. Hcqe5 and zoer7 for 3rd nov. 2017. I wonder how your site can issue two tickets for same individual for the same journey. I immediately cancelled ticket bearing pnr no. Hcqe5, wherein instead of refunding full amount i was given a refund of one fifth the amount. I have already registered a complaint with e_commerce deptt. As it was not my fault, you are requested to refund full amount and credit it to my account.

                          An early action would be appreciated.

                            While flying from gopinath bordoloi airport, guwahati (Gau) to tulihal airport imphal (Imf) by ai 889, my fragile items were broken. I have made a complaint to the ground staff but his response and excuses was just sorry. According to him the responsible person whom to talk about was said to be in leave from his duty.
                            With no effort and genuine excuses we are made to leave airport. Very disheartening to see such service from a organisation.

                              Dear sir,

                              I have tried to book domestic flight ticket, through air india website, for delhi to vadodara for 04-oct-2017 on[protected]. However. After selecting concessionary fare for senior citizen, the economy class ticket costs rs.4676. Without senior citizen concession, normal ticket, flight ticket cost for economy class costs rs. 4206!!!.

                              So where is the 50% discount???

                              I called customer care [protected] immediately, however they tried to made me understand that after 50% senior citizen concession, the flight cost rs. 4676... Does air india not knowing the simple math?

                              Also customer care executive told me that this price is for special economy class!!! Wow!!! Original price was @ 9000 for senior citizen.

                              However on goibibo and on air india flight normal ticket was quoting as rs.4206.

                              So this 50% senior citizen concession is to fool the people and illusionary advertisement.

                              Request you to clarify the the scheme and take the proper actions against such open fraud.

                                Respected sir/madam,
                                It is most respectfully submitted that my flight from lucknow to dehradun through air india, bearing my booking number - nf[protected] and pnr-h0t98, was scheduled on 25-september-2017. Which was expected to depart from lucknow airport at 8 am. I left for lucknow airport at 6 45 am and it takes 25 minutes to reach airport from my place. Due to some traffic jam i was late by 5 minutes. I recieved a call from landline number [protected]and executive calling from air india counter, asked for my boarding status. I told him that i would be reaching in next 5-10 minutes becuase due to some traffice jam i was littel bit late than the executive said that i should reurn back to my place because i would not be allowed to board. I requested him a lot but he asked me to contact my booking agent. I called make my trip executive at their landline num - [protected]. I spoke to the executive who told me that air india is very particular and i should go back to my place because they will not allow me to board. I tried to contact air india counter from where i recieved the call but no one picked my call. I also made a request to re-schedule my flight for the next day but they did not listen at. Under the great need o[censored]rgency, i booked my ticket to dehradun but due to arrogance and non co-operative behaviour of air india staff, i could not board and i got no refund as well. All my hard earned money i. E - 4017-/- rupees gone in vain.
                                Thus i herby request this honorable forum to kindly intervene and arrange me a refund of my hard earned money.

                                  During journey on 13 jun 17 from kozhikode to mumbai, i forgot to take my new mobile phone {samsung) from flight ai 582. Just after 5 min i report the matter to air india authority, but their poor response the mobile phone recovered. Finally they refused to search and replied their inability. I lodged a complaint on arrival at varanasi. Sp varanasi tracked the mob phone after 70 days. I forced to come mumbai and with help of police authority of sandacruz east, recovered the mobile phone from a staff of air india named mr pankaj bhutia. He confirmed to the police auth that he took the mobile phone from flight and removed the both sim and memory card, used the phone after 2 months. Is this the security of air india flights and safe of passengers items? The phone is totally damaged by the individual more over i faced a lot of problems. Hence the travel expenditure including accommodation, repair charge of phone etc to be paid to me by air india

                                    I booked 2 tickts under pnr no ysxc5 in ai 022 from delhi to kolkata for 20.9.2017.
                                    Departure time was 20.15 but i recived a message for delay etd 21.25 and accordingly i cancel my programme to visit doctor and reached airport t3 at 18.15
                                    After boarding i was informed the flight delay etd 23.20
                                    After some time it is again informed for delay etd 00.40 on 21.9.17
                                    Again after some time it is again informed for delay etd 1.30 on 21.9.17
                                    Besides above i have run from one gate to another 4 times without any help whereas i noted for wheel chair at the time of booking.
                                    I request you to compensate for harrasement and delay.

                                    Our claim is still pending for delay of flight more than 4 hrs.
                                    Lack of customer service in trivandrum on 23. 09.2017 at 7.30 pm. Staff didn't respond to our query. there is only one staff and she is taking half an hour to deal with one customer.

                                      I am writing about this incident happened with me during my travel with the worst air carrier of all times - air india. People in air india are really not bothered about their passengers' time and patience. The delay of their flight ai 696 was communicated to us 2 hour before the departure time (1:15 pm) wherein the carrier expects their passengers to report 2 hours prior to departure. The flight was delayed to 15:30 with no definite time of departure and till 14:15 the carrier employees are not sure whether the flight will land in varanasi or not. This would be the last and final time i am flying with air india. The air india manager at varanasi airport makes a statement, 'sir, i don't know whether the flight has left mumbai or not. I think the person sitting in mumbai has forgotten to port the departure of the flight in the system". I really felt like india went back to 1990s after listening to that loose statement.

                                      Resolution: air india should discontinue their services from all the non metro cities so that people can travel smoothly and keep their time schedules intact. Specially they should discontinue the varanasi service as they are delaying their varanasi flights miserably and have no answer to any of the questions raised by passengers.

                                        Need help. I booked a ticket for jan 3rd 2018 on airindia.com and got 2 pnr's, one for jan 3rd 2018 and one for dec 3rd 2017. Later one pnr was mentioned as failed transaction by ecommerce team of ai.

                                        I called ai customer service within 5 mins of booking to report the incorrect booking. They asked to send me email to ecommerce which i did immediately. After that i sent 4 emails to ecommerce and called 4 times but they are not honoring the 24 hrs refund policy. This booking was made from california, us.

                                        Need advice on how to proceed. I have filed complaints with sfo office and also ai feedback form. Trying not to go legal route, if that can be helped.

                                        It has been an really bad experience dealing with ai ecommerce and to explain each and everything over and over to new agents.

                                        I have booked a ticket on Air India using the online booking service on the 6th of February 2019. I had finalised my booking and proceeded to make payment. Payment had gone from my account but session timed out. I immediately called the air India call center to notify and find out what had happened. They advised me to send an email to e-commerce to ask for a refund as they booking was cancelled. I have called my bank and they have confirmed that the funds have been banked by air India. How can this be a failed transition if the funds have gone through from my account. I need to make a booking urgently and still no response. Very disappointed.
                                        Booked a flight on the air India website. After deducting money the website gave an error without providing me a ticket. Now I don't have a ticket and the money has not been refunded either and it's been more than 24h. Customer service says email [protected]@airindia.in who doesn't respond to any emails.
