Sir
₹19000 was deducted when i cancelled tickets within minutes after booking for pnr number h8bhr.
I have booked tickets through makemytrip mobile application on 02sep17 to lucknow from mumbai it showed only 1hour20 minutes but after booking it was a flight to lucknow via bhopal with a layover of 24 hours at bhopal.
It was of no use because i had to reach my native place to perform the funeral of my father.
Please review review the cancellation fee as refunded amount is less.

    Dear sir,
    On 30.08.2017, air india flight ai635 from indore (Idr) to delhi (Del) got delayed by couple of hours. The flight was supposed to reach delhi by 11:35am instead it reached at 13:30am which caused me to missed my flight from delhi to london, flight no 9w 122 at 13:15 hrs on 30.08.2017. I had to re-book another flight and paid rs 47, 595. This is my personal financial loss. I need a compensation of the same else i've have to take this case to consumer court.

      Good afternoon,

      Sub: help require for injustice

      (Sep 6th, 2017) today morning my parents (Age about 63 and 61) tried to travel through air india from delhi to vijayawada as per the attached ticket form airport terminal-3, gate no:3. (Flight no:ai-459, pnr no: y1nwp, ticket no: 098-[protected], 098-[protected]).

      They reached airport on time. But as they are new and due to the language problem they struck up in baggage checking counter for 10 minutes and 5 minutes to find appropriate counter. As they reached the boarding pass counter airindia team informed them counter was already closed by writing wrong time on my parents tickets (5 minuter post time) and suggested my parents if they leave their main baggage they will allow them in to flight with cabin baggage. Even airindia team not issued the boarding pass to them to travel with cabin baggage. Same i conveyed to the airindia help desk. No one not responded properly instead of attending issue wasted much time by showing their busyness and at final called the contur and order them to send my parents to exit gate. I informed counter staff and manager on duty that i had tbut no one not given appropriate response. They refused to accommodate my request were rude and insisted to in next flight with new ticket at 1.30 pm.

      As my parents are old and have back pain issues they are unable to sit such longer duration until next flight at 1.30pm. So i requested air india team to provide rest bench to take until the next flight. But they refused to provide any hospitality. So we back to our home after the series of bitter experiences.

      Once after reached to the home even i called your customer cell no: [protected] around at 9.58 am to 10.18 am to update our issues and to raise request for the change of my parents travel date. Initially they agreed but later they refused for the same. I requested them to provide "call reference no" to update the same to the higher phase. But they are unable to even provide the same. Thats way i provided you the time and called no for your kind reference. (Customer cell no: [protected] around at 9.58 am to 10.18 am).

      Later i called to complaint register no: [protected] as per web portal information. They refused to take the compliant and provided us alternate contact no as [protected] to raise the complient. We tried again to the alternate no to rise complaint. They conveyed me that "its mumbai no", so they are unable to take our compliant of delhi regein and suggested to send an email to "[protected]@airindia.in"

      I felt mentally tortured and literally no avenue to access any help by air india staff at the counter at delhi airport. If it was not for the kind intervention of the airindia staff walked away without even offering a solution or accommodating my request.

      Even my parents also mentally stressed and felt harassed by air india staff over an issue that should not have really been an issue. As they are allowing fellow passengers in front of my parents and refused them to go due language issues. If possible please check the last 4 check ins for this flight. (Flight no:ai-459, 6th sep-2017 at 6.15 am form delhi to vijayawada). The last 4 check ins are happen in front of my parents even they came to the boarding desk after my parent arrival to get boarding passes. Its really painful indecent to us..

      Please consider our request and kindly issue new tickets with change of my parents travel date form 06/09/2017 to 22/09/2017.

        Myself and and my wife opted for upgrade to business class from hyderabad to muscat via mumbai ai618 from hyd to mumbai and ai985 mumbai to mct on 3/9/2017
        Lakshmy ramaswamy ragendran and jayashree ragendran
        For sector hyd to mumbai i paid rs 10080 as upgrade chrges
        Unfortuntly for this sector the seats were economy and food a slo economy class. This is not acceptable and hence please arrange to reimburse this upgrade amount
        At the time of booking we were given seats like business class 3d and 3f
        Just by providing a curtain on walk way and changing seat to blue color how can you fool customers saying it is business class?

          Air india flight from buvaneshwar to cochin... Connection from delhi... The buvaneshwar to delhi flight got delayed.. So naturally we would have missed the delhi to cochin flight... So we asked for a second option... But the one they gave was not feasible... So we decided to book another flight tfrom delhi to cochin and travel by the same air india flight from buvaneshwar to delhi... The customer service staffs refused to cancel the booking from delhi to cochin even after a long phone call and our sincere requests... They said they can either cancel the whole ticket or else give a second option which was not feasible for us due to the timings

          I hope something could be done in this!!

          Rude behaviour, unprofessional behaviour by the employs of airindia.

          Delay in flight without any reason

          No apologies nothing by airindia.

            I travelled via ai 681 today from mumbai to cochin. The flight had been delayed by half an hour. I reached kochi at around 7:50 pm. I along with a number of other passengers waited for our baggage for more than two hours in vain. We couldn't find or werent even informed about why the delay was taking place. Finally at around 10:00 pm we come to know that the baggage is still at mumbai airport. I need to be at tvm by tomorrow evening. What am i supposed to do? There are others whose daily medicines are still in the baggage to arrive. How are they supposed to find a medical store after 10 at night. Please take it in its seriousness and take action against the negligence of the concerned.

              Sir,
              I booked a flight from irctc from simla to delhi (9 aug 2017) with pnr no. Y388h tkt no.[protected]
              But suddenly they cancelled the flight.
              I have to manage alternate arrangements and stay arrangements there took a taxi and apply for leave from my office and skipped an urgent meeting and above all i was not able to attend my fiancee birth day.
              I want the return of fare as well as the compensation and damages occurred due to this cancellation of flight to the tune of rs 50, 000/.
              The same may be transferred in my account at the earliest.

                I came from sydney on 27th august in air india ai 301 and then in air india flight ai-13 and my e-ticket number is[protected]. When i landed in ahmedabad i was waiting for my bag. I received one of the bags but i did not receive the 2nd bag. My second bag was the only one which did not arrive and when i recieved the bag on 29th august, i see that i did not receive my money which was kept inside. I had 700 us dollars inside the bag which was not available when i checked. Isnt this too illogical and unethical that only one bag did not come from sydney to ahmedabad and morover that bag which contains money inside. This seems such a part of a conspiracy to mishandle the people's belongings and with such authority it is creating mistrust among the people. I claim all my money back worth 700 us dollars.

                  Dear sir,

                  I am a student in singapore and while interning in mumbai, was diagnosed with infected pilonidal sinus, which required urgent surgery. Since my parents were in gurgaon (Where they had an appointment at max hospital for me), i booked a mumbai-delhi ticket on 9th august night for travel on 11th august 8.00 a. M. Even though the prices were high (Rs 8, 000- plus) and i had a confirmed booking for 20th by spice jet which would have to be cancelled.

                  I arrived at terminal 2 well before 7 a. M. And after some initial confusion as to which air india check in counter to join, was in the check-in queue before 7 a. M. This may be verified from cameras. Finding the queue to be unduly long and counters totally inadequate to handle the rush, i appealed to a supervisor ms raksha, who is the counter manager for air india domestic in mumbai. I requested her to help me check in - i told her i was uncomfortable due to my medical condition and had a doctors appointment. (I am happy to share with you my diagnosis, report of my subsequent surgery on 13th august at max hospital and any related details).

                  I was assured by ms raksha that there were other passengers on the 8 am flight also to be checked in she would facilitate my check in at new counters being opened. At about 7.10 - 7.15 am a new counter was opened and the supervisor asked me to proceed to the check-in desk. When i got there, i was asked to wait saying a 'group' check-in had to take place. This took the best part of about 10 mins while i waited patiently, continuing to be assured that i would not miss the flight.

                  Eventually, at about 7.20-7.25 am i placed my bag at the check-in, and while the agent was proceeding to check me in, ms raksha arrived again and said no more passengers could be taken and rudely removed my bag from the scale. I tried to reason with her and also again explained my medical condition/urgency, but she was totally apathetic and abrupt and told me i should cancel and take the later flight if i wanted. No amount of pleading or justification could make her change her mind. She even said " i don't care if you came in last night, but you have reached the counter too late'.

                  Finally with no other choice left i had to book the next ai flight and arrived in delhi. Because of the impending surgery and recovery, i am writing now to lodge my strong protest on the totally apathetic, rude and unprofessional attitude shown by your staff. Further i have lost the amount of the ticket cost - no refund has been processed and am told by makemytrip that i would receive a princely sum of rs 71- back.

                  I am writing to demand an explanation and a full refund. I am led to believe that ai must have over booked. Forget the inconvenience and agony i was to suffer, the least ai could have done is shown some empathy and changed my flight to the next one with minimal charge. Instead i was told to go to the ticketing counter, re-book and come back to board for the next flight. I look forward to a satisfactory and professional response (Including refund of ticket). I would otherwise have little choice but to vent my grievances in the social media.

                    Sir i m booked for delhi to bnglr & return as well vide above pnr since i had to reach delhi by train from jammu to catch the flight but due to dera sacha sauda episode all trains from jammu have even cancelled. Kam unable to reach delhi due to this national shame as no bus or taxi is plying on the route since the situation is out of my control. I should not be made to suffer for the fault of the state as such request u to cancel the delhi to bnglr part of the ticket with full refund. Hope u to act reasonably & oblige. Thanks

                      I am shantanu gupta. I had travelled from ai 173 on aug 13 from delhi to sfo.
                      My pnr no was z49jr and e-ticket no was 098-[protected]. I had booked paid seat no 17k. But the seat was having the problem and was not reclining. I had complained about the problem to the crew members and they had given me a seat at back and told me that you will get a refund for your seat. But even after 11 days of my travel, i haven't even got a single email of apology from your side.
                      Kindly reply me when you guys will be giving me my refund.

                        I had a booked a ticket for air india ai-317 from hongkong to mumbai on 20th august, 2017. Details as follow -

                        I reached hong kong airport before time and collected my boarding tickets. I cleared my security check and immigration and entered the departure hall. I saw the flight had delayed for about 1 hour 40 minutes from 18:05 to 19:45 which was okay to understand. Around 6 o'clock i saw the flight had been cancelled and i had to visit to sats counter. There i was told we would be shifted to cathay or jet airway flights accordingly.

                        I waited patiently and again asked the counter what was going on. After several minutes he told his staff to take us to jet airways counter. After reaching there we were informed that the gates have been closed for the said flight and there is no other flight to mumbai. We asked the staff to call the air india manager so he can come assist us and help us and give some solution. But we remain unattended.

                        Later we were given a cathay dragon flight to bangalore (Blr) and were said the situation would be informed to bangalore air india staff and they would give us the first next light to mumbai and send us back. I reached the bangalore airport around 12.30 am on 21st august, 2017. And to my surprise there were no air india staff present or to attend us or help us. I went to air india counter and told them about my situation. After listening to it they called their seniors to confirm and took 1 hour to know that such thing happened with us hong kong airport and now they need to send us to mumbai back. They checked the flight available and reserved a spot for me on 8.10 morning flight which i refused to take it as i had already waited so long. I told them to look for flights in other carrier and hook me up to the next flight to mumbai. After fighting for 3 hours almost every 10 minute and keeping a track on what they are doing and teaching them how to do their own job. They finally give me a seat in jet airways flight at 5.00 am which had its departure time at 5.45 am. I rushed to the security gates hurriedly and took the flight to bombay.

                        Above was the case to be explained and the scenario for you and your company to understand and now i am going to write down the problems i faced -

                        Firstly, i had a direct flight to mumbai, for no reasons i had to unnecessarily fly to bangalore and from there to mumbai. This caused me a lot of troubles and more importantly waste my time. I was suppose to reach 1.15 am on monday 21st august to mumbai but i reached 7.30 in the morning and left the mumbai airport around 8.30 am due to which i had to reschedule all my appointments and meeting post lunch.

                        Secondly, i had requested for vegetarian jain meal in the air india flight, but i couldn't get the meal i had asked for in cathay dragon flight from hong kong to bangalore due to which i had to stay hungry. Later when i reached bangalore airport i asked air india staff to arrange refreshments for me, but they failed to provide me with anything. So i had to eat by myself.

                        Thirdly, i had purchased two liquor bottles blue label which costs usd 192 each from dfs, hong kong international airport which is okay to carry as hang luggage if i had directly flew to mumbai. But we had a stop in bangalore. At jet airways counter i was told that you cannot carry liquid in hand bag and was asked to put in luggage and said they are not responsible if it breaks. I couldn't throw the bottles at bangalore airport, so with no option left i had to put them in luggage with a fragile tag on bags. Unfortunately both the bottles break when i opened my luggage to check at mumbai airport. I dint wanted to start a flight in the morning with airport staff and air india as i had a meeting to attend which i later post pone. I was tired and in complete agony but i knew there will be no one to listen to me.

                        There are many more incidents and problems i had to face because of your flight ai317 being cancelled. No apologies, no response from air india customer services, no consideration from anywhere. I should be given a refund as well as compensation for a disastrous journey or i will take this case further.

                          I booked my tickets from jfk (New york) to delhi - return ticket.
                          When i departed from jfk and landed in delhi, they lost my baggage.
                          After three hours at airport and multiple follow ups, i got my baggage after 2 days, when i asked what is your policy for inconvenience, their answer was you should be happy you still got it back.
                          Now, i cancelled my return ticket three days prior to return date and asked for open ticket reservation for return owing to some private matter.
                          I called today to book my return ticket and they said their system is down to check whether i was no show or not, so they cannot check it and hence they will not book it.
                          When i asked for timeline for when to book or how to book, they said they dont know and asked me to visit their center in delhi which is 25km away from my house.
                          When i asked for seaking to manager or compalint box, the guy refused to give me his email id or complaint number.
                          Person was very rude and arrogant in dont come to us - tasleem ansari - he didnt gave his proper name - this is all i could heard.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I have booked an E-Ticket as per PNR (Y2321) for the sector TRV/SHJ on 2nd August 2017 and blocked the seat No. 4A for my nephew Mr. Asif Mohammed Sali. Today was his travelling. In the checking counter at Trivandrum International Airport, the counter staff issued him boarding pass with seat No. 32D. He was directed to the Manager in charge in the airport when he asked to issue the seat we were blocked.

                            Unfortunately he was not ready to change the same and was spoken with me through telephone. He was telling the 4th row seat is payment seat and you did not pay for the same. I told him that at the time of reservation it was shown that the same seat I blocked was with no fee. He told that he don't know about it and it may mistake of the Air India Site. I feel shame that one of your senior responsible staff doubting the trust of your web site.

                            At last he has allotted 8th row seat which is the emergency exit row after understanding that we are going to complaint about this incident.

                            I also felt the same experience before at Sharjah International Airport for my personal travelling time. I am using Air India since last 20 years and my FFP No. is[protected].

                            I have booked a seat for me myself on 19th as per PNR (Z8L71) wish to cancel related with this very bad and sad incident happened at Trivandrum International Airport today.

                            Please note that these type of employees will spoil the reputation and growth of our National Airline. Please take the appropriate action against the irresponsible employees and save Air India.

                            I had book tickets from Kathmandu to Lucknow. When I reach at counter for boarding pass theny ask me passport or Voter ID of india.
                            If they want passport or Voter ID, it should be ask at time of Ticket booking.

                            Air India service at Kathmandu airport was worse service.
                            My flight is on 8 aug 2017 but now they delay to 9 aug 2017 my ref no is HLZX5, with any valid reason they changed the date. And they can't response me properly.
                            Air india is very poor behaviour with customers.

                              It is huge inconvenience to me when a big amount (Rs 95113/-) has been blocked due to faulty transaction system of air india during the booking of tickets on 7th august 2017. It is third day, is over but no refund and no positive effort from e-commerce of air india. I am facing lots of harassment and i have not able to do any further plan and my other important work.

                                Booked tickets for my parents on 24/5/17 in air india flight ai-584 for travel on 20/8/17 in sector trivandrum-bangalore (File attached). Suddenly on 7/8/17 got an sms stating that the flight is rescheduled to 22/8/17 (File attached). When i called customer care, they failed to provide alternate flight on same day and refused to book me in other airlines flight. They couldn't give any reason for flight cancellation on 20/8/17. As we had connecting flights/plans, so i had to buy new tickets with almost 3 times higher than original price (File attached), wasted half a day at work and also lost my mental peace. My initial booking amount not yet refunded and it is stuck with air india for 2 & half months for no reason. Also the travel agency took their charge for cancellation.
                                Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                  I malaynil dey, i came from leh (Ixl) on 02/08/2017 vide air ticket no.[protected] to kolkata airport (Ccu) reached on 02/08/2017. When i came from leh (Ixl), i have handover my luggage to your staff at check-in time directly to kolkata (Luggage no. Ai 925998). After reach kolkata airport (Ccu) i came to know from your side that my luggage has not reached due to your problem and your staff assured me that my luggage will be delivered to my residence safely. As per commitment of your staff, my luggage has been delivered to my residence on 04/08/2017 evening in totally damaged condition.
                                  Now i want know from you, why my luggage damaged on the way and why so late to reach my home. What is the reason.
                                  Now i feel that i am totally mistake to avail your flight.
                                  Immediately you compensate a new 24" branded leather trolley suitcase for me.

                                    I must say the worst experience by far.
                                    Things that annoyed me during my travel
                                    1) i was travelling to macau and baggage tags were not handed over to me at chennai and delhi despite me requesting several times. The answer i got was "not required madam" and finally i ended up in trouble at a place where there were none airindia officials (Hong kong airport) to help claim my baggage as i had to take the ferry to macau. Had to request quantas airlines to get my bag tag no and i luckily could claim it. Called air india officials several times but none cared to respond to my concern. What was surprising was i asked them to give me my tags atleast about 3 times and they assured me saying its not required so its clearly not my ignorance.

                                    2) return flight to mumbai was delayed so i was directed towards cathay pacific airlines which landed at 8.30 pm (About 6 hours prior to my scheduled landing) but my connecting flight was about 10 hours late and atleast air india could have tried to get me an earlier flight. Instead they just chose to redirect me to different places within the mumbai airport to ask for the same query. Finally took my same connecting fight after waiting in the airport.

                                    3) duty free liquor is not allowed in hand baggage i believe in mumbai international transit to domestic. Rules are rules i agree but the passengers wouldnt know the rules unless its mentioned prior as such things never happened to me during all my international transits to domestic. Had they informed me prior i could have dropped it within my baggage which had ample amount of space instead i had to check in and during my security check for hand luggage is when the authorities thought that they should mention.
                                    Irony: i had to buy a new baggage which was more expensive than the liquor itself.
                                    More irony: air india did not have a fragile tag. They had to write it on a piece of paper and stick it over my bag.

                                    Cheaper than other flights "yes" but please invest in a little more and avoid these hassels as it spoils the entire mood of our journey.
                                    This is what i have decided at the end of my travel. Thank you air india for such a wonderful experience!!!
                                    There was indeed a lot to learn and lot new experiences!!

                                      Wring check in details were emailed out with the wrong flight details leaving us to cause severe distress. No one was able to give us a necessary answer or even attend our call on the phone meaning that we had to leave earlier to identify what the issue is. We had to wait in the airport unnecessarily, having to cancel last minute plans on our last day in jaipur, coming up to some financial loss which was prepaid.

                                        Flight scheduled for tomorrow, 3 august
                                        It gets delayed without any prior notice to the flyer.
                                        While doing web check in i noticed the updated timings with no information of it given to me in personal.

                                        Web check in boarding pass shows wrong date i. E 2 august in place of 3rd august, increasing to the confusion already present.

                                        This is really frustrating and changes all the itenary of the flyer

                                        Least they can do is inform about the delays and atleast print the correct date on the boarding pass.

                                        On the top of it, while boarding at the boarding gate they denied my booking and told.me that some agent has cancelled the booking.

                                        Doing a web check in is futile when you are travelling with air india coz at the end they will change your seat because of there bloody stupid system and will harass you

                                        10 minutes before my flight departure, at the boarding gate they are telling me that there is some problem with my booking and decided to give my already choosen seat through web check in to some other passenger and harassing me by putting me into a middle seat despite of the fact that i have already chosen my seat 1 day before.
