I was travelling with my family from delhi to mumbai via ai 315 flight on 22 may 2016. On entering the aircraft for the first 30 minutes the ac was switched off. We felt suffocating and asked the crew member to turn on the ac. He informed that the ac will start functioning only after take off.

Even after the plane took off the ac was operating partially causing lot of discomfort to us including fellow passengers.

Kindly ensure that the ac is fully operational before allowing passengers to enter the flight as it may be risky for passengers having heart or lung related problems.

I had booked air ticket from muscat to allahabad return flight and my ticket no is[protected]. Today suddenly i recieved a sms for change in schedule of flight from allahabad to delhi ai 9604 ixd-del of[protected] to 17-10 instead of 14-30. My connecting flight of air india from delhi to muscat is ai-973 at 19-25 from delhi which cannot be caught. I called to air india costomer care but i was told that there is no alternative flight and i have to stay 24 hours at delhi on my risk and cost otherwise i have to cancel the flight. In case of cancelation i will get refund from travelling agent which is in muscat. These options are not practical or convinient to me.
        Please do the needfull.

Matter still not resolved. I was supposed to travel by Air India on confirmed ticket No.[protected] from Allahabad to Muscat via Delhi on[protected] by AI 9604 and AI 973 flight but on[protected] I received a SMS stating that time of flight was changed. I called Air India call centre told that due to change of timing I cannot travel by flight No. AI 973. The departure time became before the arrival time of AI 9604. They offered me to stay in Delhi 24 hours to board on next day flight which was not acceptable to me. After a long discussion it was agreed that you can kept open date your ticket and in future whenever time of flight will change you can travel. Now I booked the same ticket on[protected] but I am being told that I have to pay penalty for change of date. Since I was ready to travel but it was fault on the part of Air India not mine that I had to change the date of travel. It is against to the justice that I have to pay penalty for the fault of Air India

I was travelling from delhi to durgapur by ai734 on march 28, 2016, when my only baggage was carried onward to kolakata. I had nothing in hand and had to buy clothes and toiletries for my stay in dhanbad. I spent close to rs. 10000, on shirt, pant, a night suit, and toiletries. The baggage was delivered to me the next day. No compensation was paid to me.In fact the dealing officers at durgapur airport were not able to even guide me on these matters or tell me when it could be delivered. It was a terrible experience.
I have been writing to airindia since then, but i dont get a response from them except that they are looking into it.

Is it the kind of service you offer to your customer. Anticipating immediate reply. I had tried with your travel agent but one male person from customer service misguided me so i am trying to contact the air line directly, but even from your side service is frustrating you advice us where should the helpless customer go, you fulfill your profit claiming service but not offering the same in reality, and poor customer who does not have stars on his collar remains cheated & misguided

                Good day,
I, Johns k Devassy, transported my pet dog via your esteemed airline on 14th may 2016 from Mumbai to cochin, Airway bill 20565381.
When i gave her to airline staff at mumbai airport she was perfectly fine and the medical certificate says so. But when i received her at cochin airport she was dead. I request you to do the needful investigation and find out the reason for this loss of life done by the staff. As per the latest information it is the pilot who was responsible to carry a live animal and to take additional precautions.
If the airline was not competent enough then they should have rejected the transfer.
This might be another complaint in this list.but if you all have any regards please do something to stop such henious crimes being done by the airline staff.
                Thanking you,
                Johns k devassy

                  Dear sir/madam,

Could you please help me to get justice, an air ticket to auckland, and appropriate compensation for the hardships i'm going through because of the misleading, confusing, and wrong information received from air india related to the transit visa for australia?

The confusion created by air india related to the immediate issuance of the transit visa caused the delay and i had to miss my flight to melbourne from new delhi airport.

Before starting my journey from the first departure point (Pune), air india did not check my required travel documents. Probably my ticket was sold to another passenger with premium rates.

                  Right to information act:
If air india does not have the responsibility related to the transit visa requirements, then:

Air india clearly tell the passenger that its not the responsibility of air india to tell the passenger whether the passenger would need a transit visa to travel through australia.

Air india should not confuse the passengers by saying that its possible to get a transit visa quickly, go by the ola cab and you should be able to get back to the airport quickly and catch your flight.

Air india should not stop the passengers at the airport if air india does not have any responsibility related to checking the transit visa and other travel documents.

Air india staff at the delhi airport confused me, delayed me, and created all the conditions where i should miss my flight to melbourne. I want to know the reason, why did they provide confusing and misleading instructions? I would have cancelled or changed my air ticket immediately if i was provided correct information.

Miss akther, miss neetu kohli, and miss pandey, and the on-duty manager (A lady manager with boy cut haircut) are involved in confusing me and causing the delay. Ultimately, i had to miss my flight.

Miss preeti also delayed me because she did not have the information and she had to hunt for the information from her colleagues for around 40-45 minutes.

                  To: [protected]@airindia.In

                  Dear sir/madam,

Before starting my journey to new zealand via australia, i called the toll free number of air india to check whether a transit visa is needed for a new zealand resident to travel through australia with an indian passport. I was told by air india on the phone that i will not need a transit visa.

At the pune airport, only boarding pass for pune to new delhi was issued station that my passport details are not visible in their pune computer systems. I was not issued the boarding passes for:

                  1. Delhi to melbourne
                  2. Melbourne to auckland

I had requested for a through check of my baggage to be directly picked up at the final destination, that is, new zealand. The air india pune staff tagged my luggage only till melbourne. At the delhi airport they asked me to claim by baggage and presented me as a "no show" and offloaded passenger.

Ia were not ready to help me in any way. They were not ready to change my ticket.

Miss akther (In charge), on-duty officer, and miss pandey asked me to go to their safdarjung office 1 hour away from the international airport to change my ticket. Where as miss neetu kohli told me to get the transit visa for australia. According to miss kohli the transit visa is granted within a few minutes.

Due to the confusing and wrong instructions, i decided to go to the australian visa office to get the visa. The visa office told me that the visa can be granted only after 3-4 days. Due to the misleading information from the ai staff, i missed my flight.

At the safdarjung office of air india. The asked me write a complaint and asked me to collect the refund from the agent.

They are not ready to reissue another ticket to me. They are holding me responsible for the transit visa issue and for missing my flight to melbourne. I had only rs. 2, 900 in my pocket. They did not care to provide any action plan to provide a hotel for my overnight stay or any kind of cooperation. I had to travel by train back to mumbai.
On may 11th, i could not eat anything till late evening. I will not be able to attend my interview in auckland. I need your assistance to seek justice, reissue of my ticket to auckland via any other route other than australia, and appropriate compensation for the loss incurred and the inconvenience caused to me & my family. I told the duty manager that i am unemployed from december, 2015 and requested her to reissue another ticket for auckland.Instead of helping me, she delegated total responsibility on her junior miss pandey.

                  Thanks and regards,
                  Vinay bhagat, mumbai

AI 310 from mumbai to delhi. Boarding started half an hour late. Then seat allocation was changed manually by ball pen at boarding gate without giving any reason. Then flight was delayed by 5 hours. Then lugggage took another one hour to reach on luggage belt.
Because of all this, I could not get metro train and had to book a cab worth 900rs. Moreover I missed my train. No compensation has been made or alternate arrangement was provided. It is impossible to reach allahabad now at required time Unless I take another flight which is very costly. So, I need ticket money back atleast. It has caused a lot of mental and physical trouble to me n my husband waiting outside airport gate.

This is regarding air india flight number ai-461 for date 8th july 2016 from delhi to amritsar. Air india has delayed this flight by 3 hours and 10 minutes from 5am to 8.10am without any reasoning. How can it delay flights 2 months in advance cheating its customers after we have booked the tickets according to our comfort according to the actual time. Air india is now running some other flight at the same original time of 5.10am with flight number ai-453 and shifting our flight by 3 hours and not taking into consideration the customer's important time. I want an action against this airline company.

                        Hello Air India,

I am really worried with the poor response of the customer care team of Air India. Reiterating my problem, for the third time amid the chaos of customer care team demanding an immediate response. I have talked and sent mail to the customer care team already but nothing's seems to be working.

We (Myself and My Family) recently visited Paris from Chennai as part of family tour, via Delhi on flight AI 143, which arrived 25/04/2016 at Charles De Gaulle Airport, Paris.

Out of our 5 Checked-in baggage, which was supposed to be sent all the way to my final destination, baggage tag No.AI557779 was apparently been completely misplaced and possibly off loaded in Delhi. We raised a complaint at the lost luggage counter at our final destination Paris - File Reference number-CDGAI11989.

After numerous calls with the concerned person, we got to know that our baggage was found to be misplaced at Delhi and is being sent to Paris by 27/04/2016. Being tourists, it was really difficult for us to get in track with the baggage. Moreover, the baggage was not delivered to us on time and we had to make up all the way to the airport to pick the luggage up on 28/04/2016, cancelling all our tour plans for the day.

I find a complete chaos on the handling of the misplaced luggage and I am very sad to find such a flaw from a well renowned airline. Moreover, the handling of the misplaced baggage was too rough. I find that the bag has been damaged too much that it cannot be used further. The case of the baggage and the lock are broken. I can provide you with the necessary photos if needed. I definitely want an action to be taken for my damaged bag too.

I hereby write you in order to claim for compensation of the delayed and damaged baggage delivery. However, while I was waiting for my baggage to be delivered (for almost 4 days 25th April to 28th April), I was obliged to buy some necessary goods and the other expenses incurred such as travel expenses in order to get to the airport to get back the luggage. I can provide you with the receipts if needed.

I believe that I am entitled to compensation for all the losses and the expenses incurred due to the misplaced and damaged baggage from the airline.
I would appreciate an update as soon as possible.

I'm trying to login to Air India flying returns account, it asks for Kyc confirmation, but after putting all the details, it says ive got a duplicate account. I tried contacting the customer care but they dont even know the solution. They asked me to mail to flying-returns.[protected]@iclployalty.com but even they are not bother to reply.
Im following up since December 2015 but still this problem is not solved.
I cant login to my account, i cant book flight from my account, i cant redeem my mileage points.

This is mere cheating of genuine customers by not allowing them to submit kyc forms and then later on the miles would be lapse.. Due to this we have to bear heavy flight ticket cost and feel un-previledged..

I hope air india will take it seriously after seeing this complaint if it reaches again.

                            Team air india,

I wish to escalate this non responsive behavior on part of baggage department for a speedy solution against baggage delay ref # lhrai13004.

I need the money (Gbp 50) against baggage delay as per your policy on baggage delay allowance published on your web site urgently which is pending since 10 apr 2016.

Seriously this shows why ai goes in negative balance sheet and we customers are forced to prefer other airlines which are better in customer service.

I have missed the flight on april 21st april, i understand that it is completely it is my mistake, but when i wanted to go out of airport your air india employee told that it is not our business to take you out of airport, where as when we try to go out police men asking for a letter from air india office.

Employee was very rude, when we say if your dont help us we will raise a complaint, she said "go and raise a complaint it is of no use". Is this is a way anyone can treat the customers i dont understand how air india do training for the customer service agents. There is no name board for the agent, when i asked for the name, she denies to tell that too... very worst experience we had in chennai airport, i will advice my friends and relatives not to choose air india at any cost. Hope some feedback would be shared to agents at chennai airport about treating the guests.

KYC is a good process. But authorities should see practical issues.

Most banks take away money from the accounts online when we make investments such as insurance etc. To pay the benefits, they will send physical cheques!!! to the address as per the KYC; which will be after few years. They even do not ask you, advise you before sending. Why they cannot pay into the account online? This is a high level scheme to rob people.
True... I'm facing similar problems. Deplorable services by air india frequent flyer program.

Also in order to avoid any miscommunications, I called at your service center on 23rd January and spoke to your customer care agent who assured me that there will be no delays and in case of delay you will be informed over phone. I also updated two contact numbers with her.

I did not receive any communication through SMS or a call rather there was an email.
Fortunately I checked the email, and called at customer care who asked us to get a Jet airways flight on Air India behalf (as you people have a tie up with them) but they cannot do it online and I have to be at the airport.

The Jet Airways flight was in 2 hours of when I was alerted for the delay in flight, I somehow managed and left for the airport where to my disappointment there was no Air India agent to assist us in any form. We also tried contacting and connecting to all available numbers which were unanswered. We tried to connect to city office at Indore and Mumbai but they were helpless for the situation and said Air India services at the airport can only help. The flight which we planned to travel was again delayed by one hour.

We had no other option then to get our flight booked ourselves. We booked two tickets with Jet Airways and had to pay extra for the luggage also ( As the luggage allowance in air india was 25 kgs and for jet the limit was 15 kgs)

I would like to demand for all the extra costs incurred in my journey as it was totally unfair on Air India part.

I have receipt / confirmation of below documents:
                                      1. Jet airways tickets
                                      2. Cancellation of Air India Tickets
                                      3. Receipt for the luggage charges taken by Jet.

Despite following up with Air India people from last 4 months i didn't got any penny back. I would like to submit a complaint for Air India and would like to hear back from the judiciary.
Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        Dear sir,
I wish to inform the following points regarding travelling by air india flight from jeddah to lucknow and lucknow to jeddah. My air india booking reference no is y64qland e-ticket no. 098 [protected]. I had faced difficulty while travelling back from lucknow to jeddah.
                                        1. I travelled from jeddah to mumbai on 10.10.2015 by flight no. Ai 932
                                        2. I travelled from mumbai to lucknow on 11.10.2015 by flight no. Ai 625 (Domestic flight)
                                        3. There was no problem while travelling from jeddah to lucknow
                                        4. I had my return flight from lucknow to mumbai on 30.03.2016 by domestic flight
                                        5. So i had made reconfirmation of my return flight on 22.03.2016 and reconfirmation paper is attached herewith.
                                        6. As per the reconfirmation paper the return flight from lucknow to mumbai was scheduled at 1330 hours (Afternoon) on 30.03.2016.
                                        7. I reached the lucknow airport at 11.00 a. M as per the flight schedule at 13.30 hours
                                        8. When i reached the check in counter for getting my the boarding pass, the man sitting at the check in counter informed me that the flight scheduled at earlier at 1330 hours has already departed at 10.30 hours for mumbai.
                                        9. This was a big shock for me because my international flight was there on the same day in the evening from mumbai and secondly air india did not sent any message on my mobile regarding rescheduling of this flight from 1330 hours to 10.30 hours.
                                        10. My exit/re-entry visa for saudi arabia was valid up to 31.03.2016 only.
                                        11. There was no time to wait me for rebooking in the same class on other available days
                                        12. Air india booking staff asked me to pay extra money inr 1700.00 for booking in another flight in higher available class.
                                        13. I was forced to pay inr 1700.00 for another flight because of air india fault as they did not inform me about the rescheduled flight departure time from lucknow to mumbai on my given mobile.
                                        14. I am an unskilled worker working in saudi arabia with a very low salary. I have taken loan of inr 17000.00 to buy the ticket and was
