I have frequent flyer acc no[protected] in the name of Sourabh Bagla with Air India. I was trying to book Mum-Mangalore tickets while redeeming points (which I have earned) for 23rd Jan for me and my wife. However, there were some errors while booking the ticket. On inquiring with you call centre, your call centre supervisor Mr. Amrinder Singh proudly tells that you have only updated your KYC just 21 days back. Its still to be verified. So I cant get my tickets booked from the points I have earned. He told he cant take any complain. WHY i cant get my tickets booked with miles if the ticket is available and I have miles to purchase the same. Is it now your fault that you havent verified KYC in 21 days? Grow up Air India. Stop behaving like a govt run airline.

2 of 1, 702 Dear sir, My daughter Miss Aastha Dawer was booked with confirmed ticket on Flt AI 115 to London on 8th jan 2016. Her Air India ticket confirmation number was HRWRE. She was at the airport at 4.45am in the check-in que. At about 5.15am she was informed that she is being off loaded due to over booking, and she was told to take 2.45pm flight. Sir, she is a student at Nottinghan University, and she had already booked her National Express coach from London Heathrow to Nottingham for 2pm. Apart from this, it was not possible for her to take the afternoon flight as it would reach Heathrow late evening and she had no further confirmed booking to Nottingham. Her ticket from Heathrow to Nottingham by coach has gone waste. Then she was requested to fly on 9th Jan 2016 by same flight at 6.50am. Finding no other alternative she had to accept the offer. Sir, she doesnt have any confirmed coach ticket with her for onward journey to Nottingham and all coaches are full as the university in Nottingham opens on 11th jan 2016 after vacations. Firstly who is going to pay for the loss of her coach ticket which was booked for 8th jan. Secondly she will have to take a cab for her onward journey to Nottingham on 9th jan 2016, which will cost me app 150 pounds. Who is going to pay for this?? I would like to bring to your notice that the duty person on the night of 8th jan Mr Sanjeev Kapoor who was on front desk, dealing with offloaded passengers was extremely rough, rude and out spoken. I could listen to the whole conversation as my daughter was on the phone line with me all the time for 1 hour. Inspite of her repeated requests to him that i am alone girl and a student and i have further coach connection he paid no attention to her request. This gentleman Mr Sanjeev Kapoor should and must be taken to task who had no humanity and never considered how will a single girl, a student will travel further to Nottingham. Mr Sanjeev Kapoor who was on duty that night had no manners to talk to a lady.If such illiterate and out spoken people are employed by Air India, one day none will like to travel and interact with such stupid mannerless people. Will Air india take suitable action against this man??? I request you please compensate the losses suffered by the passenger and the whole family immediately. Looking forward for early action and compensation. Thanking you Sunil Dawer f/o Aastha Dawer [protected] [protected]

I booked a ticket from Mumbai to Delhi for 4 Jan 2016 with a hault at Indore from Air India departing at 7:55 AM AND reaching delhi at 11:30 AM. I reached the airport timely and was standing in a line waiting for my turn at the check in counter to get boarding pass. I was standing in a queue since 6:45 AM. As the time was approaching i asked the ground crew but it was said it would announced if you are required to reach at the counter so I awaited but when my turn came i was told the counter is closed and said nothing can be done. You either pay for the next flight or go back from where you came . I just need is this called customer handling?? There were few more passengers who faced the same. Then after awaiting 2 hours(approx) the other flight was given but after charging 1600(approx). I want to know where i lack and why i faced such situations despite that was the complete mishandling and carelessness on the part of AIR INDIA and not the passenger. Air India just take the advantage of the need of the customer as they have to fly but this experience and the way staff spoke and communicated is completely worst. I expect Air india take due action and process the refund for the ticket which i missed because of the staff of Air india itself

I had a booking From Bangalore to Jodhpur on 5th January 2016.The booking had a stop over of 1hr 40 min in Mumbai where we were suppose to change the aircraft. The flight from Bangalore to Mumbai was AI 645 and for Mumbai to jodhpur it was AI 640.Due to some of your technical issues flight got delayed by 1 hr 40 min and by the time it reached Mumbai your Other flight in which we were suppose to travel already started. We missed the flight because of your carelessness and after that your Representatives didnt took any responsiblity and asked us to board a flight to jaipur(which is 300 Km from destination). This has been worst possible case.We have spend 14000+ INR to reach our destination and some of your silly fellows spoiled everything. Now who should pay for Travel from Jaipur to Jodhpur? I know i would not get anything out of this. This complaint is just for your refrence that how you are performing in Airline Industry where people prefer to go with a cheap and better airline and also it's a lesson for us not to board Air india Flights in Future. This is PNR for your Refrence-H1FSN(if you need.

Our flight (AI 84) from Goa to Mumbai on 21st December was delayed in the first instance from 10pm to 2am. We had been led to believe Air India would provide a meal voucher, however were sold samosas at INR 80 each and after some hours we were given half a sandwich. When my husband asked for a Diet Coke as I am diabetic this was refused initially until he argued for it. After we finally embarked we did not take off, instead an hour or so later we were disembarked with no real explanation. Management of the situation can only be described as completely chaotic. It was 4am before we were finally driven to a hotel to rest. The following day we were picked up from the hotel at 2.30pm without being given any guidance or direction on how and who would manage our booking for our return journey home. Fortunately we were assisted by a Mr Pradan Nazim and Ms Jyoti Kuralia to book our flight home. This was from Goa to Delhi on 22nd Dec with an overnight stay as our flight to the UK was on 23rd Dec. We were advised to speak to the duty manager at check in to negotiate accommodation overnight. This proved to be difficult initially, however a Mr Varun's manager finally agreed to accommodation at the Lohmod hotel in Delhi. Unfortunately the hygiene standards of this hotel left much to be desired. We were given soiled bath towels, the toilet seat was broken and the room was cold. The restaurant seemed unhygienic and the food was of a low standard. Please note as a result of the flight being cancelled we lost the money we had paid to stay at the Niranta hotel in Mumbai airport on 21st December at a cost of £90.00. We also accumulated a further cost (£7.00) on our return to the UK from the long stay car park where we had left our car. My husband also lost a day's salary as a result of the inconvenience caused to us. We would urge your Airline to compensate us for the loss caused as well as the inconvenience. I hope to hear from you as a matter o[censored]rgency, otherwise we will consider a legal claim.

This is regarding my flight booked with AI630 on 24th Dec 2015. The flight was scheduled to depart at 9:40pm but I was been informed by the boarding desk (Mr. Mukesh at Nagpur) that the flight has been delayed till 12:15am and whether he should print the boarding card. After number of inquires, to which Mr. Mukesh never answered and told me to talk to the CEO of AI, I agreed to take the boarding card for 12:15am flight AI630. Post 12:15am, as there was no information on whether the flight is going to be delayed more, all passengers along with me, inquired with the Sr. Manager of Nagpur AI. To which he said they have no information on the updated schedule and all passengers should wait. I have already lodged a written complaint and demanded for the compensation of my losses due to this delay, but have not received any answer till date. Please let me know how should I proceed to get my conpensation.

I had booked a ticket from kolkata to dibrugarh on 3rd october. My booking was for 2nd Dec 2015. But i am a student studying in chennai, so my flight on 2nd dec from chennai to kolkata was cancelled due to flooding of the airport due to heavy rains. So i had to go to bangalore and change my flights, in order to do that i had my AIR INDIA flight cancelled from the Bangalore Airport. Its been over 3 weeks, and i have still not received my refund. I have been to the Dibrugarh Airport Air India office but no one has neither helped me nor do they hear my problem. I request you to take appropriate action against them

Date of the incident - 26/12/2015 Name of passengers - Raymund Peter & Shalini Choudhary Flight number - AI 265 Description - We were flying to Mali for our honeymoon from Bangalore and the flight we booked was at 7:30. While we were checking in the Air India staff informed us that the flight has been cancelled and we have been rescheduled for the flight at 11:30. We did not receive any emails or calls notifying us of this change. Additionally, the Air India ground staff mixed up our PNR with someone else's and quite incompetent. Since we were not informed about the flight change we could not change the connecting seaplane tickets from Mali to the resort which cost us 500 US dollars per person (1000 USD total). We had to book another Seaplane ticket which was only available in the evening so we also missed out on half a day in the resort. Desired Resolution: We need a refund for the Seaplane tickets which cost us 1000 USD in total.

                      Website: www.airindia.in

We all have booked tickets separately for each person. Accidentally, ticket of Mr. Sonkar booked for different flight from air India website. So we requested Air India call centre to change the flight from 08.35 am to 06.15 am along with other family relatives. Which they accepted and rectified details internally and happily as there was ample tickets were available. At the time of change request call centre attendant clearly informed to us there won't be additional charges levied and all details are internally confirmed. As a proof they suggested to use attached copy of tickets to use which is generated through Air India website. That day happily we reached at Mumbai airport by 4.30 AM but at the time of check in Duty Officer Ms. Revathi misbehaved with us and said we have defrauded with Air India. She denied to give boarding pass to Mr. Sonkar on account of fraudulent transaction and said she has cancelled the ticket without assigning any reasons and flight of 6.15 was closed. Even we requested to assist us to catch at least our original flight of 8.35 which she again denied and said."Tum saala, BHAIYAAA log Air India ko barbaad kar dega...fraud karke..." Immediately, we spoke to call centre employee Mr. Peter Mondal for assistance and after around 1/2 hrs. He informed that he is not able to help us as Ms. Revathi is not listening him also and barred from to make any changes in system. He also suggested to make complaint on email ids- 1) call.[protected]@airindia.in, 2) call.[protected]@airindia.in, 3) [protected]@airindia.in to take the whole matter with concern authority to address it internally for refund and compensation. Internal investigation will be initiated against concern employees for harassment and misbehaviour. After exhausting with all, we again purchased ticket by making of Rs.10600/- cash at counter to catch up flight of 8.35am. We have made several complaints within AIR INDIA on 14/11/2015, 20/11/2015 and 03/12/2015 but no solution/ answer given to me. Even my ticket amount is also not refunded by them. This whole episode is shameful to Air India and for customer like us it's mental and monetary harassment. We now requesting to Police Officials to your good self for justice and proper investigation of any scam within AIRINDIA and against Ms. Revathi under atrocity act for misbehaviour and mental harassment inclusive o[censored]sage of abusive language/word. Under the present facts and circumstances stated above, it is, therefore requested you to register an FIR against above named person and associates of AIR INDIA under appropriate provisions for deficiency in service, harassment and Atrocity Act, for uses of abusive language/words.

What in this world has made you guys delay a flight by 3 hrs 45 mins?? A flight AI-605 which was supposed to take off from mumbai at 9 pm earlier tonight finally took off a few minutes back. Can someone clarify what are those "operational issues"? Why wouldn't someone prefer a private airline? The cancellation charges are free after one hour but what's the point if you inform so late, how is someone supposed to arrange a back-up in such a short span of time. Airlines should payback the entire amount of this flight or else offer a free one-way ride as compensation. I booked this flight for my wife so that she can reach Delhi at around 11:10-11:20, and we can reach our home n give my mother a surprise on her birthday. But, Air India screwed all our plans. This is an absolute example of emotional set back. Regards Manish Sharma [protected]

I sent the mail on 30.11 itself mentioning all required details. Now even after 15 days of sending the mail and reminders I have not yet received the refund. The help desk is unable to check refund status and asked me to contact e-commerce. When I tried calling that number it says "the number cannot be contacted"

I had booked flights from Delhi to San francisco for my parents Three days ago, my Mom found out that she needs a heart surgery immediately. My dad has to be with her for the surgery. When I called Air India customer support, informed them about the situation and requested for a cancellation, the representative on the other side told me that I will have to pay the penalty for cancellation. This medical emergency doesn't fall under Air India's cancellation policy of full refund without penalty. I was surprised to hear that. I had made bookings on other domestic airlines here in the US and none of those airlines even flinched to cancel the tickets without penalty. How is a person supposed to fly if they have to undergo a surgery. I requested the rude rep to transfer me to her supervisor, and in turn she transferred me to the escalation department after putting me on hold for almost an hour. The rep in escalation department told me to send an email to the [protected]@airindia.in requesting for cancellation and refund. I sent an email to the e-commerce group requesting cancellation on Dec 12, since the reservation was made online. I did not hear back from them in 48 hours. When I called back the customer service dept again, I was told that was not the right procedure, that I had to cancel the ticket on phone first and then send an email to the ecommerce address. What I don't understand is why did the ecommerce/sales group not reply back stating the same. Every time I call the customer service dept now, they tell me that we hear the recording of what the call center told you on friday and take action accordingly. They tell me that they will call me after 2 hours and then no calls. This has been ongoing through out the day. I have called them three times now in last six hours with no call back. They put me on hold for hours. Its like their delaying tactic, so that the customer would give up. Its like they are running a scam, to cheat customers. It is unbelievable that a company like Air India has such untrained, unorganized and a cheating customer care department. What do I have to do to get attention from anyone in AirIndia. I am so exhausted. I feel like I will have to lose Rs.1.5 Lakh that I spent on tickets, because AirIndia is trying to fleece its customer.

I Dr Rishi Bansal would hereby like to express dis-satisfaction of boarding flight Air india AI-035 on 27th of Nov 2015 morning at 5.10am. I had booked one stop flight no. AI-439, from new Delhi to kochi which was later changed to direct flight AI 035, after telephonic conversation on 23/11/2015. No written proof in the form of SMS or email was sent to me despite request for the same. Secondly, regarding the misbehaviour of Air India ticket counter staff Mr Santosh. Talking with him in the same context, he refused to take the responsibility of AIR INDIA. When I showed the proof of call recording, then he along with Mr Sarvesh Kumar said "TICKET CANCEL KARAO AUR DOOSRI AIRLINE SE TRAVEL KAR LO HUM TUM JAISE LOGON KE LIYE BAIDHE NAHIN HAIN". He also told me "TUM JAISE LOGON KO SASTI TICKET MIL JAAYEGI TOH PHIR AIR INDIA MAIN AA JAOGE". He also abused me which cannot be written. When my wife intervened into the matter they misbehaved with her as well. When I tried to record the whole incident into my mobile he took my tickets and told me that we will be thrown out by the security staff and was forced to delete the recording. These things can be checked by CCTV footage if available. This was a lifetime bad experience by airline company and thought of sharing my experience with the authorities so that this thing does not happen with other passengers. Henceforth I will think twice before booking the air India tickets. Hoping to intervene into the matter and respond Dr Rishi Bansal 12, Gajanan Nagar, Shahganj, Agra PNR-HR7MM Booked Request id-GOFLDAPIHDFC9e30f[protected]

I travelled on 30 Nov 2015, in AI 156 from Delhi to goa. The. Behaviour of cabin crew Mr Pankaj was very rude and he failed to perform the duties he is hired for. I had given preference of three seats together, as I was travelling with wife, and two children including one infant. Still was given seats 22f, 23 d and 29 a. Cabin crew did not help at all in accommodating us. After I requested other passengers and managed all three seats in 22 d, e, f. Mr pankaj came and asked us to shift to 23 a, b, c as the seat 22 d e, f did not have extra oxygen mask for the infant. In today's era its surprising to find d that this allotment could not be done at counter itself. Through out this Mr pankaj offered least help in shifting me and my family. After the lunch was served, Mr pankaj came to collect the used trays. Wherein he was asking passengers to pick up their used plates and hand over to him. When I asked him to pick up the used tray from my seat, which was aisle seat, Mr pankaj refused. He was rude enough to tell me that he Weill not touch used and dirty trays. I called up senior cabin crew and explained the whole episode. The lady in charge of cabin crew was very polite and apologised for her junior's behaviour. This behaviour of cabin crew is highly unprofessional. The senior cabin crew did expressed her inability in correcting and teaching the young cabin crew. Mr pankaj on being asked his full name, rudely replied to me that i can do whatever and first name is enough for that. Mr pankaj failed to do his duty, in providing any assistance to passenger, when i asked for seats. Mr pankaj refused to pick up used tray after lunch. Mr pankaj misbehaved with passenger and raised his voice, and refused to give his full name. On being asked for complaint book, he provided feedback assessment performance.

Was not able to contact AI customer care from chennai, Trivandrum and banglore. Personally went to AI office at vellayambalam Trivandrum and gave the eticket details to cancel. But it was not done. Finally I cancelled from website because previously customer care have told me that refund will be given only if cancelled before the date of journey.

I could finally contact AI customer care on 7/12/2015 and they confirmed that full refund will be given and asked me to send email to eccorce.airindia.in along with the eticket details which I have already done on 6/12/15 itself.

I have done so many cancellations before and Airindia takes atleast 10-15 days to credit the refund and in one case (which I have send mails so many times) they have not refunded at all. But in this case which AI have to give full refund due to the flight cancellations, the refund of Rs.947 (after reducing all cancel fees etc) was credited next day itself. Is this to avoid giving the full refund. ?
