I flew by air india flight number ai 143 from chennai to delhi on 11th july.

I went through a pathetic experience with air india team when my baggage is misplaced by air india team, there is no sensitivity shown by the air india team during the incident, with huge difficulty in finding the complaint lost registration office at airport finally i registered a complaint with very busy air india customer helpdesk and finally after an hour my complaint was registered with giving no information, how my baggage will be traced and handed-over to me.

I did lot of follow-up with air india tem through toll-free number where i didn't get any information till 48hrs.

Finally, on 13th july, 9:30pm (After 60hrs) i received a call from courier agency delivery person that he bought a bag for me from air-india where he was asking my address for delivery which i have informed in writing at complaint dptt at airport and that was not given to courier delivery person, after delivery when i opened the bag i found my lot of personal stuff (Shaving kit, 4 shirts etc) from the bag were missing of amount inr 15, 000.

Based on my experience from this incident, i would like to recommend please never ever choose air india flight as option as far as possible.

Finally I found my luggage after 5 days, but condition of bag was very bad and few items found missing.

Finally it was a very bad experience of flying with Air India, Since then I never taken Air India flight.
I am giving single star as negative rating is not possible.

I flew by Air India flight number AI 143 from Chennai to Delhi on 11th July.

I went through a pathetic experience with Air India team when my baggage is misplaced by Air India team, there is no sensitivity shown by the Air India team during the incident, with huge difficulty in finding the complaint lost registration office at Airport finally I registered a complaint with very busy Air India customer helpdesk and finally after an hour my complaint was registered with giving no information, how my baggage will be traced and handed-over to me.

I did lot of follow-up with Air India tem through toll-free number where I didn't get any information till 48hrs.

    We traveled in ai 112 on 13/07/16 from london
    To shanghai pvg airport via delhi.
    Our flight from london was late and arrived late in delhi and we were told that our connecting flight to shenghai pvg was missed.
    We told the the staff that we are on bussiness trip and we have meetings with company's and have hotels booked and we have further transfers booked as well.
    It will be heavy loss to our bussiness if we do not get there on time. but no helpful response from the air india staff.
    As as the result we are here at delhi airport waiting for the next day flight.
    We will be now late for our meetings and have to pay for all the. arrangements again.
    I would like to make an official complain and request for the imburstments of all he losses incurred due to the flight delays.
    We would want air india to pay compensation for this.

      I booked 4 tickets on 4th july 2016 from hyd-mumbai-newark and newark-mumbai-hyd for the journey dated 13th september 2016 and back on 16th october 2016. The booking was confirmed
      For the above tickets an amount of rupees 2, 67, 526 was paid by direct transfer from sbi account
      Since the earlier transaction attempted for the booking of the above said tickets were declined when the payment was made through my sbi credit card. On 3rd july 2016 an amount of rupees 2, 67, 526 was debited in my card account
      From the above it is seen that payment was recieved/claimed from both the direct transfer as well as credit card.
      Further it is noticed that no receipt was issued for the amount received through credit card and tickets were issued for the payments received through bank transfer.In view of the above action needs to be initiated for the excess payment of amount rupees 2, 67, 526 may be refunded to my credit card.

        Dear sir,

        I wish to register my grievance against air india airport staff mumbai. my flight was on 5th july 2016, from mumbai to bangalore, flight no. ai 603. boarding time was 5.45am and gate was mentioned 42a on my boarding pass.

        The gate was changed to 40 a without any announcement. i was waiting on the gate assigned, when suddenly i came to know that the flight took off.

        Nobody bothered to call me, or announce my name once, or either at least announce the change in gate.

        Later on the air india staff misbehaved and didnot cooperate.

        They could have, but they didn't arrange any accommodation in the next flight for me.

        The flight ai 603 returned back from midway, due to technical issue. then also, the staff didn't inform me.

        My money was also not returned.

        I am hereby attaching my boarding pass with this mail.

        I am expecting a resolution against my complaint.

          My last trevel is 27/06/16 dharamsala (gagal) airport to delhi airport 12:35 air india with connecting flight is delhi to abhu dabi jet airways 21:00
          But air india flight is cancell and then miss my second flight. so dharamsala airport (himachal pradesh) air india from issue
          New ticket in 28/06/16
          I come to 28/06/16 in delhi but second tticket is not sanction in jet airways. then do not help in anybody from air india after i have purchase new ticket. i have atech fully tickets. can you check please.

            I boarded ai 144 newark - bom on 11th may at 4:25 pm.
            First of all the seat which i got 49 f, its entertainment system wasnt working at all. i was transferred to another place, in that seat the torch wasnt working and had to have my dinner in dark.

            Than again for reading i had to move to other place, but in that seat the seat handle was so tight that even the crew members were not able to lift it.

            I had to change my seat for like 6-8 times throughout my journey, believe me none of the seats were proper.

            For the seats in row 50, none of the remotes for tv systems were working.

            More over, when i informed the crew, they were like this is what you get for this much money.

            Food as so bad, that i had to starve throughout the journey and moreover a self service kind of thing it was.

            At the end, the most unprofessional thing which was done was: i was given a wrong membership number through air india.

            Please guys improve the quality of flight, dont just read complaints, get results. i just saw that there are thousands of complaints regarding the flight ai 144, come on, do something.

            What would a foreigner think about india after going through such a horrible flight for 15 hr!!!

                Flight ticket of mr. vinayak b kulkarni & mrs. vandana v kulkarni was booked online via make-my-trip site. pnr no. j3fe4, eticket no.[protected].
                By mistake name of mrs. vandana v kulkarni was wrongly typed as mrs. vanadana v kulkarni. i have request make-my-trip customer care as well as air india customer care to help me getting the spelling rectified as mrs. vandana v kulkarni. as they are a senior citizen they should not face any problem in travelling the airlines.
                As per the update provided by the customer care, they have received a remark in their system which is circulated to airport mumbai stating that the name should be read as vandana v kulkarni instead of vanadana v kulkarni.
                I sincerely request you to kindly help me with some confirmation to the passenger either on his mobile or email id for the same so that he can travel without any fear.
                Request you to kindly help these senior citizen's ( they are director of the company ) & our company is a frequent flyer with air india airlines.
                Expect positive response for the same at the earliest please.

                  I travelled by air india 2nd july 2016 flight ai 0144 newark to mumbai. this plane is too old. the seats are stiff and hard. the entertainment systems of most of the seats did not work. when we complained to the air hostess they acknowledged that there is a problem. would really appreciate if the quality is improved else will switch to another carrier for my trips to india.

                    Myself along with my 2 daughters travelled from Delhi to Kochi by flight no AI 048 dated[protected]. On arrival at Kochi at 9.30 PM they could not find their baggage (3nos) and complaint lodged with the airline staff. Today morning they got a message that their baggage is traced in Trivandrum and will be reached by the morning flight at 7.30AM and can be collected from Kochi. They went to Kochi Air port at 7.30 AM and they said their baggage is not reached and they could not trace the whereabouts. Their entire wardrobes are in the baggage they are without any changing clothes. Who will answer for this irresponsible handling of baggage and hardship facing to the passengers?

                      I am a regular traveller from mumbai to goa and bhopla every week in air india. I travelled today from mumbai to goa flight no ai 683 seat no, 25a and this is to inform you that your flight attendence is very careless. I had called the senior flight attendent mrs swathi, the snacks was served by ms yadvi, and there were 4 new boys as flight attandentwho were in the flight. Please note that this is the second time the this has beed done with me. I am fed up with the service you all are providing the your guest, i think you have to change you attitude of you want to stay in this service industry.

                      Your AIRLINE do not provide snaces to all their guest, theyt do it in a randon way, if thet wish thet give other wise they forget it it is the normal practice a i have experiences it twice in a months time. so i am forced to think that your flight attendent are not very serious about the job or reputation in the market.a very casual attitude. I think you should better change it before its to late.
                      This is to bring to your notice that i am a frequent traveller by AIR INDIA from Mumbai-Goa, Mumbai-Bhopal, and in the single month it had happened that i have not been served the light meal served to everey body in the flight. I was flying in flight no.AI 683 seat no 25A, and i was not served my light meal served.I spoke to Swathi and Yadvi who were incharge and on the flight present. I would suggest that you have to take appropriate action against this is spoiling the name of the AIRLINE.

Delhi Airport its more than 24 hrs. just getting same reply "Please wait sir have to talk with Mumbai", The important thing is that My wife is a Cancer Patient and all three years report inside that baggage and it is non-traceable. How this is Possible I have appointment with Doctor, I can not do anything without medical reports.

                          Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible, or I will bring the matter notice of Higher Authority.

                            Hello sir, my name is sandeep heer and i have booked a air ticket with following details: booking reference no (Pnr): hphjw web reference: aibe9168964 issuing airline: air india ltd. Issued date: thu, 15 aug 2013 amount:[protected]gbp) travel date: 2 oct 2013 i have requested to cancel it and refund the charges into my card several times but customer services refused to refund any charges. According your terms and conditions customer get following refund in case of cancellation 1. 35% of the basic fare + transaction fees - more than 10 days prior to scheduled departure of the flight. 2. 50% of the basic fare + transaction fees ? 1 to 10 days prior to scheduled departure of the flight. 3. No refund if the cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight though taxes are refundable. Express value rbds: h/k/q/v/w/g low-medium same as current (35%, 50%, 100%) same as current (Inr 450) *** same as current as my fare was low level and i am trying to cancel this ticket since 30/08/2013 i should be entitled to refund. Moreover, prior to booking, it doesn't showed anywhere on ticket or on website that ticket will be non-refundable. Air india refused to refund and change the ticket and made it no show and i had to book another ticket costing[protected]gbp) to travel india on 12/oct/2013 please investigate this complaint and contact me in case you need any further information.                               I am dr. Venkateswara surisetty, resident of kingston, on, canada. I travelled from vijayawada to hyderabad as part of my 2015 india business travel on 24 august 2015 in flight ai 9516 by air india. My e - ticket number is 098 [protected]. I paid for excess luggage charge of inr 10500 since the baggage allowance is only 15kg and i have connection to travel to canada.

                              After reaching hyderabad my luggage got missed and i filed a complaint at the hyderabad airport immediately on 24 aug 2015 before my next flight. The pir issued with file no. As hydai52272. I contacted air lines multiple times after i reached canada. They said that they are searching for baggage and get back to me.

                              In october 2015, the airlines asked me to send the documents for settling the claim. I sent them all the documents on october 2nd 2015. I keep on calling them and sending e-mails multiple times to know the status of my claim. On nov 12 2015, i got a reply from mr. Shravan, air india baggage services (Lost and found) stating that the claim documents forwarded to finance department and claim is under process and they will advise me once claim is done.

                              The airlines never get back to me and i keep on calling/writing them multiple times. Recently, in april 2016 i went to india again and went to hyderabad airport met shravan in person on may 12 2016 to get the update on this file. He promised to settle this claim by 20th may 2016 and still didn't do any thing favour. I felt that the airline is very irresponsible in dealing customer service by not get back to me and didn't keep their multiple promises.

                              The total claim amount is inr 119500 and excess baggage fees of inr 10500. Please ask airlines to pay these amounts with interest and compensation for their poor customer service

                                I am a frequent flyer to bhopal from bhubaneswar. This is wrt a flight that i took from bhopal to bhubaneswar. My booking was on ai 634 from bhopal to mumbai pnr jkzjh & then connecting from mumbai to bhubaneswar under ai 669 under the same pnr on 4th june 16.
                                The flight from bhopal that was to depart at 815 got delayed by 2 hrs - as we would miss our connecting flight, we met the duty manager with our problems but he mentioned his limitation - he can only look after the booking from bhopal & that if we fly to mumbai on any other flight, we will have to fend for ourselves at mumbai airport.
                                As per his advise, we decided to take the air india flight to delhi from bhopal on the same day & connecting flight from delhi to bhubaneswar as this was the connecting flight to my final destination. As time got closer to the flying time, the flight from bhopal also got delayed & i & my colleague missed the connecting flight at delhi.
                                The efficient airport managers at delhi airport kept us waiting for 2 hrs to reschedule our tickets.
                                Our ordeal didn't end here. Then we were provided a hotel at mahipalpur - hotel star. A snap of the bedroom & toilet is tagged. There was an issue with the electricity & all inmates (Us including) of the hotel were on the road waiting for the problem to be solved for over half hour. I called the indian airlines call center where they were very helpful mentioning that they cannot help and we are to take care of ourselves. They didn't even have any contact details of delhi air india staff whom i could connect to with my problem. They did mention that they put up transit passengers in 4 & 3 star hotels. With the information i enquired the number of an air india officer from the reception - the officer sunil was so kind to mention that we have been put up in a wrong hotel & that we were booked in hotel transit. I enquired with the hotel star reception & learned that the other hotels are full & so we were put up here at hotel star. Funny that in no point were we informed by air india or hotel staff for the transit vehicle that other hotels are full. We insisted to be shown the correct hotel, but we were shown another hotel - international inn which conveniently had only one room available in the basement and that too with a broken ac. We returned back to hotel star having lost to the system. All this happened at 1 am.
                                Our connecting flight was on 5th at 7 am. We reached airport office in the morning & had a discussion with sunil. Sunil asked us to write a complaint against the night manager - ms arora. There was no compassion about the hardship i had the previous day & night - only solution was write a complaint in the book.
                                My points are
                                1) if flight from bhopal are generally late why not correct the departure time to accommodate the delay which is normal. A passenger can choose to plan realistically
                                2) as delhi is the national capital, i expect that the duty managers be more trained. No passenger should be made to wait for 2 hrs - & that too when there is a mistake of the airline. Also i enquired about grievance contact details & not surprisingly, not a single manager had the contact details.
                                3) pl see the snap of the toilet & recheck the facilities of the hotels used for transit stay. It is nothing better than a lodge with very basic amenities. The hotel should be of a standard - pl also explore to find if there is a nexus between air india & hotels. We don't need pity from the airline - rather i lost 24 hrs of my life on account of the delay.

                                  My wife Anupama Divakaran and Niharika Nambiar travelled by AI 581 from Mumbai to Kozhikode and the funny part is none of the checked in baggage for all passengers were loaded onto the plan. This looks like a big fraud and needs to be invetsigated. If there is some problem with the plane, all passengers should have been intimated about this practice, so that we can find alternative modes of transportation

                                  The funny part is this happens in Modiji country famed for his execution and desire for quality. I am surpised that after my wife and daughter reached Kozhikdoe there was nobody to register their complaint for over 3-4 hours. They were travelling all the way from USA.
                                  I am not sure what sort of redressal we have got in our country.
                                  Also on reaching kozhikode my wife and daughter were stranded in the airport with no support from any qiarter for registering their lost baggage complaint. This too after 36 hours of travel. Surprised that this can happen with Modiji in charge of the country. Shocked and appalling that such a big fraud was done on so many passengers

                                    I am having a flight from Pantnagar-Delhi at 13.45 and my next flight from Delhi-Pune at 17.25 on 2nd Nov, but they rescheduled flight from Pantnagar-delhi at 16.30 due to this my next flight will be missed, just because of them I have to spend money nor they are giving any resolution for this, Very disappointed, never book any flight again in future from Air India
