I boarded ai 144 newark - bom on 11th may at 4:25 pm.
First of all the seat which i got 49 f, its entertainment system wasnt working at all. i was transferred to another place, in that seat the torch wasnt working and had to have my dinner in dark.
Than again for reading i had to move to other place, but in that seat the seat handle was so tight that even the crew members were not able to lift it.
I had to change my seat for like 6-8 times throughout my journey, believe me none of the seats were proper.
For the seats in row 50, none of the remotes for tv systems were working.
More over, when i informed the crew, they were like this is what you get for this much money.
Food as so bad, that i had to starve throughout the journey and moreover a self service kind of thing it was.
At the end, the most unprofessional thing which was done was: i was given a wrong membership number through air india.
Please guys improve the quality of flight, dont just read complaints, get results. i just saw that there are thousands of complaints regarding the flight ai 144, come on, do something.
What would a foreigner think about india after going through such a horrible flight for 15 hr!!!

I really need an answer for such poor flight quality
Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I flew by Air India flight number AI 143 from Chennai to Delhi on 11th July.
I went through a pathetic experience with Air India team when my baggage is misplaced by Air India team, there is no sensitivity shown by the Air India team during the incident, with huge difficulty in finding the complaint lost registration office at Airport finally I registered a complaint with very busy Air India customer helpdesk and finally after an hour my complaint was registered with giving no information, how my baggage will be traced and handed-over to me.
I did lot of follow-up with Air India tem through toll-free number where I didn't get any information till 48hrs.
Finally, on 13th July, 9:30PM (After 60Hrs) I received a call from courier agency delivery person that he bought a bag for me from Air-India where he was asking my address for delivery which I have informed in writing at complaint dptt at Airport and that was not given to Courier delivery person, after delivery when I opened the bag I found my lot of personal stuff (Shaving kit, 4 shirts etc) from the bag were missing of amount INR 15, 000.

Based on my experience from this incident, I would like to recommend please never ever choose Air India flight as option as far as possible.
