Sorry to say, but Air India on board service is pathetic, very poor customer service and flight attendants don’t even respect customers.
And not to talk about ground staff, that is worst.

I am traveling on AI 126 Chicago Delhi, business class 8A seat.

Atleast expect them ask me for glass of water.

Not sure what to say, being frequent traveler on almost all airlines and executive platinum traveler on American and other one world airlines.

I cannot compare service.

Very very disappointing.

    Hi Team,

    My father Solirajan worked in Air india and did service for 32 years, recently he passed away and we asked for medical reimbursement as he was eligible. We submitted all the medical documents to the the Chennai medical dept team (Air India - Meenambakkam office. Its been past 8 months and we are yet to get the amount. We had submitted two medical documents from 2 hospitals.

    Very bad service!

      On 3rd August I booked my flight from Delhi to UK for 24th September, 2022. Flight no 58G6HW. I contacted the customer care service on the same day before booking my flight to enquire about student baggage allowance. The said customer care told me that a 23kg bag is allowed when you show your student visa over the counter. They did not tell me that the allowance is no longer available as it was post 31st July, 2022.
      I should have been informed about this! So that I wouldn't have booked the flight at all. I was taking the flight for the student allowance. I want the airline to allow me the student allowance as it was miss communication on their part.

        We had written several emails the Air India but there was no response from the Air India Airlines.

        Booking Reference No. UG9TBG
        Date: 17 Aug 2022.

        The Air India Representative asked to email the video clipping where the dates are flipping on their website.

        Air India needs to provide Refund of Rs 5, 955/-, as the booking ticket came with the wrong date due to Air India Website Flipping dates and taking customer's money by Fraud.

        Please see the video clipping, after making the booking reservations and the banking page, the tickets are sent with the wrong dates.

        Air India should pay back the money taken by their Fraudulent Website.

        Please contact us to give the Refund.

          14 Aug - Follow up on Twitter. Direct Message sent per Air India request.

          26 Aug - Let Air India know on Twitter that there was no email communication received. They had promised to get back via email.

          Status as of 29 Aug - The refund is nor received despite complying will all Air India requests and all follow ups from our side.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I had booked a flight (PNR NOGN5T) from Bangalore- Delhi- Paris- Birmingham. Bangalore air India airport authority issued all the 3 boarding passes on 24th August 2022 and I travelled to Delhi. Unfortunately Delhi air port air India authority did not allow me to board the Paris flight since I didn't have transit visa to travel to Birmingham (I have work permit UK visa and have Indian passport). I don't see any document stating I need transit visa to travel to UK. Could you please provide me the document which states I need a transit visa. I would like to raise complaint against Bangalore authority who issued me the boarding pass. If I don't need transit visa, I would also like to complaint against Delhi air India authority (Mr. Muneebali Khan, Mr Vasu Sood and Mrs Anju Taneja) who harassed me mentally and for my financial loss of £1307.99. I request you to refund my ticket amount £1, 307.99.

              Hello,

              I was trying to book a ticket from Kolkata to Deihi on 11th Aug but at the payment page the page suddenly displayed "Something went wrong kindly try again", the money got debited from my account but the booking failed and the page got reloaded. (Transaction Reference Number[protected]

              After that i made a fresh booking and fresh payment and got my ticket booked in the name of Saroj Sharma but the amount that was debited for the failed payment never came back

              It has been more than 16 Days now since I submitted the complaint at Air India Feedback page (Reference Number is WB-DCCU[protected]) but I have not received the amount of 5127 back in my account neither has someone contacted me till now

              Kindly help me since the customer care tele callers are unable to help me here. Please refund my amount of 5127 back into my account.

                I booked a ticket from CCU to Dxb for 29th August 2022 the booking was done through air india app on 26th August 2022 at 12.07 am through gpay UPI the amount have been debited from my side but I didn't receive any ticket or PNR after contacting customer care team they are not helping me with any proper answer. I want my refund as soon as possible.. please help me with this issue. I have attached the transaction details with this complain.

                  I was rescheduling my Air India travel ticket from 10th March 2022 to 10th Feb 2022 . Transaction has failed but money got deducted from my bank account . They didnt issue the ticket as well. I went to Air India office Coimbatore and paid again and got the ticket issued.

                    I booked air India ticket for 10th March 2022 and selected seats by paying additional amount 5200 INR. Due to personal reason I rescheduled the ticket by visiting Air India Coimbatore Office and availed free seats during rescheduling. Original amount that was paid for seat booking was not refunded for me and my daughter who travelled with me. I have raised a complaint with Air India but no refund happened after 6 months.

                    Air India travel desk gave proof receipt and asked me to claim this amount after travel. But there is not refund after multiple attempts.

                          I have tried to book two tickets from Gauhati to Imphal Airport on 27th July, 2022 for an air india flight scheduled around 12.40 but ticket wasn't issued yet a sum of Rs. 8278 was deducted twice from my account.Accordingly, I have submitted a feedback form having ref. No. WB-DGAU[protected] dated 27th July, 2022.I have called your customer care a number of times and they even created a case id 16675229 for my complain.After all those efforts, I have not received my money back till now.I felt oppressed and toiled unnecessarily.It's been quite a disgust customer care service from your side.I regret my effort to fly with Air India.Procastination is the only solution air india customer care have provided me so far.

                          Please help me get my money back.

                            I am a student and I had booked a flight ticket for Bombay to Frankfurt on 5th August, 2022 [Ticket attached for your reference].

                            Before booking the flight ticket, I had spoken to the Air India Customer Care [call proof attached] and confirmed whether the Extra Baggage Allowance for International Students is still valid and he said YES.
                            He also mentioned that I need to submit a valid VISA, Passport and Student ID DIRECTLY at the airport counter and I will be allowed with 3 Check-In bags. I booked a flight ticket of Air India solely for this offer.

                            But now it is mentioned on your website that this offer is not valid on tickets booked after 31st July.

                            Now, I either want you to:

                            provide me an E-Mail confirming I can carry 3 Check-In Bags

                            OR

                            provide a Full Refund.

                            I have already bought and arranged all my luggage. Kindly do the needful.

                              I travelled from Paris to Chennai through Delhi. The booking code is NKB3LY. The flight number is AI 142 from Paris to Delhi and AI 429 from Delhi to Chennai. The flight left from Paris at 21:00 and reached Delhi at 8:30 which was late by 25 minutes and given the transfer time being reduced considerably from (1hr 40mins to 1hr 15mins (due to the delay)). When I exited the flight to catch my connecting flight, the air India authorities caught few people at random for, 'Covid tests' which wasn't specified any where before and I was charged 300 rupees for that which was okay. But, due to this, another 40 minutes were WASTED. I needed to go through immigration, collect my baggage, go through customs check, check in again and clear the security for my connecting flight in 40 minutes. But, after I completed my immigration, it was already 9:25 and I saw so many people still waiting to collect their baggage. Due to this delay, the people who had connecting flights to various locations such as Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore etc. missed the flight. But, then we were informed by the Air India authorities who themselves were late to the location that we will be getting boarding passes to the next flight which is not acceptable, totally unforgivable. On top of it, we were made to stand for an hour without any food, no prior communication about the scheduled time of next flight. WE WERE PROMISED BY YOUR AUTHORITIES THAT WE WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A DELAY CERTIFICATE, A MEAL PASS, VOUCHER.
                              There were total of 41 people including me who missed their connecting flight to Chennai due to YOUR mistake. We were informed by your authorities that our next flight will be at 13:35 and that we will be give boarding passes by 12:00 PM. The time was 12:00PM and still no boarding passes were issued and when we asked the authorities what was the reason for delay, they kept answering it will be ready in 5 minutes but this drama went on till 12:40 (the flight time being 13:35) and finally our boarding passes were given. But, already the place was so crowded and this should have been well planned so that we would taken that flight without any hassle. But there were fights between the airport security and your authorities because of all this drama. But, finally, we checked in. When we reached the security, the time was already 13:15 and there was too much crowd and we were in so much hurry to clear the security. FOR YOUR INFORMATION, THERE WERE SO MANY OLDER AND ELDER PEOPLE ALONG WITH US AND EVERYONE NEEDED TO GO THROUGH THIS. When we cleared the security, the time was already 1:25, we needed to rush to the gate given the time constraints which was so far from the security.
                              We didn't anything we were promised and besides that myself including all the other 40 people are not going to book our flights through AIR INDIA EVER AGAIN!
                              We didn't expect this from AIR INDIA. It was so poor and the situation was mishandled, your representative were so arrogant and all of them didn't speak English! Due to this, we had so many plans which we needed to do on Saturday but everything got messed up due to this!
                              I'm attaching all my boarding passes and proof of the crowd mess created by AIR INDIA!

                                I, Ritu Sinha have booked a ticket on 19th August 2022 from Air India website from Delhi to Kolkata with
                                PNR no. LCXR6P. My money was deducted but no ticket was issued. After calling Air India they told there has been a network issue and the money would be refunded within 14 working days. With no fault of mine, money and journey plan is being held up. I am a Senior citizen and Cancer patient.AirIndia shows no consideration to even inform the passenger when the passenger will get refund officially. I have attached the proof where its evident that the money was sent to Air India. As a Senior Citizen I want sincere apology from Air India and immediate refund.

                                  I have booked my Air India ticket on Air India website on 4th Feb 2021 from Bangalore to Muscat for 11th Feb 2021. I have cancelled my ticket by email and also on customer care on 10th Feb 2021 due to Covid cases. They have promised to refund the amount within 14-21 days however its been 18 months I haven't received yet. I have been following it up by email and also customer care call center and every time they are processing it and will be refunded within 14-21 days. I have also communicating on twitter Air India, they have promised the same again. Please see below feedback form ref numbers which they have asked to do, I have done 3 times for the same.

                                  After much following they have provided the ref number as below on 22nd July

                                  So far I haven't received the amount and I have asked the bank to check the RRN number above however they have mentioned they can't trace with that and requested "Dear sir,

                                  Please confirm the transaction debit date and from which account that transaction was done " Credit card " also share the merchant refund mail confirmation and refund amount."
                                  I have posted the same on twitter however they haven't responded after this.

                                    I've paid the amount INR 4575.00 at 7:55 AM on Monday, 22 August, 2022 for the purpose of flight booking using the UPI PAYMENT method.

                                    My money has been deducted from my account and the payment status is being shown as PAID.

                                    However when I returned to the webpage it showed an error and the request could not be processed.

                                    So kindly assist me getting my money i.e. INR 4575.00 back ASAP SINCE I'VE NOT ONLY LOST MY MONEY BUT MY FLIGHT BOOKING AS WELL.
                                    I'M A STUDENT AND ALREADY MY TIME AND MONEY ARE BEING WASTED.

                                      My flight was rescheduled by the airlines so for confirming if the flight has been rescheduled and wanting my refund I called their customer care thrice
                                      And those three times I was told three diff things
                                      Then I was told to contact my travel agent since I made booking through them
                                      And when the travel agent contacted them they said that I have confirmed the tickets and it can't be refunded which is a lie. All the three times I called to get some info, I never confirmed. Also what would I confirm? The flight timings was changed 'by the airline and I just had the option either to reschedule or get a refund.

                                        I have booked a ticket for my elderly patients. Booking Reference is JI8WJM. While booking 4C was a free seat and I purchased 4B by paying 1000 rupees. So that they can stay together and have access to the toilet.
                                        During Webcheckin, my mother seat is automatically re-allotted for 18c and 31f.
                                        I called customer service many times, they are saying 4C is a seat for People with infant .If it is so, why did the software seat mapping allot us 4C in the first instance? It should have only allowed people with infant. I would have purchased an alternative then itself.

                                        Now you are expecting the 75-plus aged elderly woman having some health issues to travel in two different seats in her journey that too without her husband.

                                        Air India has to really get corrections in their software for the seat allocation process. Once allocated should not be changed. Any seats reserved for Vuxen should only be allocated when they are with infants. There should prioritise the Elderly nature and accommodate them in accessible locations.
