This is with reference to my flight with pnr HCY16, ticket number[protected]. I had my flight on 28 March at 10.30am from Kolkata to Delhi, and then a connecting flight from Delhi to Dehradun at 6.30pm.
I reached the airport at 9.37am & did not have checkin bag, so i just had to collect my boarding pass and go for security check directly. But, the Air India staff very rudely told me that i would not be allowed to board the flight as i was "late". I argued that i have arrived well before the boarding time of 10am, but they kept on arguing and wasting time. One of them, after a lot of argument, told me that actually they had overbooked the flight and hence there was no way that i would be allowed to fly.
Because of this, i wasted so much time & efforts & money, and even missed my connecting flight to Dehradun, as there was no other flight available at that moment.
I have been sending them mails and lodging complains on their website, and they have been replying that they will resolve this soon, but it has been 4 months and i have not received any refund.
I am attaching a screenshot of the ticket with the price, kindly help me get a refund of 6, 999, alongwith 2500 that i wasted on cab bookings.
Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
