It is a matter of much rgret that till date I have not rceived any reply from you neither I have heard from you..

Now I requset you finally to do needful otherwise I shall be compelled to complaint against AIR INDIA in consumer court and you shall be fully responsible for all the expenses and damages for the same.

please immediatly do needful and oblige.

Air India — NON RECEIPT OF PAYMENT AGAINST CANCELLED TICKET

I have cancelled the following e-ticket on 21st May’11 due to some unavoidable reasons but till date I have
not received the cancelled amount Rs 2102/-:
a) Ticket no 098-[protected], b) PNR No JVOXX, c) Flight No AI9760,
d) Destination Silchar to Guwahati.

It is already more than 30days since I have cancelled the ticket but till date Air India has not refunded my due cancelled amount. Moreover I have tried to contact over telephone to the Airline helpdesk but found either the phones are engaged or nobody picks up the phone. I have contacted even AI city office to help me out but they refused. I have already sent more than 5 e-mail to [protected]@airindia.in but no reply. If this is the attitude of the people of our national carrier what service we can expect? I would like to bring to the notice of all the persons who does e-ticket through AI site to be aware not to commit the same mistake that I did.
I would like to inform that I have cancelled some other AI tickets purchased through MakeMy Trip site on 11th June'11 & got the refund on 15th June'11.
I would like to draw the attention of the concerned department of Air India to look into the matter seriously & do the needful at the earliest.

Air India — Non receipt of refund

Regret very much to inform that in-spite of talking to your customer care & sending emails, I have not received the refund of canceled ticket for PNR: HVMQF.

You will observe that the ticket was booked on 03/02/2012 & the same day it was canceled.

It is already 25 days have passed & refund is not yet been generated by Air India
Air india is not producing receipt for ticket cancellation. My ticket no is 098-[protected].

En route,I have lost my identity card issued by my employer INDIAN BANK.The card is probably lost after security check up at Mumbai Air Port.If anybody has found the identity card,I appeal for returning the same to me at the following address.

      On my travel from Mumbai to Ahmedabad by Air India Flight AI 643 on 6th April 2011, snacks were served in flight.

      The snack pack consisted of Sandwich, a fruit cake and a small bottle of water.

      While enjoying the inflight entertainment, i was munching on the fruit cake. Suddenly, to noticed a small dead cockroach like creature in my fruit cake. I was so shocked that this can happen with Air India.

      I brought this to the notice of the crew members and also wrote a complaint.I did not receive any response from them, so i again complained on their website, but till today there is no reply. I do not expect an apology, but yes, i do expect them to ensure that this never happens again.

        Subject: Delay in my Flight number AI-410 from Patna to Delhi on 4-9-2011

        My Airline PNR was YQSBK for my flight from Patna to Delhi on September 4, 2011. I boarded this flight from Patna to catch a connecting flight from Delhi to Pune by Kingfisher Airline IT-158 on the same day leaving Delhi at 11:55 hours and reaching Pune at 13:55 hrs.

        But the Air India Patna flight number AI-410, which was scheduled to reach Delhi at 10.10 hours, was delayed for more than an hour and reached delhi at 11.15 hrs instead of 10.10 hrs. For this delay, the Delhi Airport Air India Authority issues a delay certificate, a copy of which is attached with this mail.

        As a result of this delay, I missed my connecting Kingfisher flight to Pune, (copy attached) because I was not allowed to check in due to delay in reporting at Delhi.

        As a result:

        1. I was stranded at Delhi airport till 5.30 hrs to catch another Air India flight AI – 849 to Pune (boarding pass attached).
        2. Due to this delay, I missed a very important meeting at 3 pm in Pune because I could reach Pune at 7.35 pm.
        3. I had to shell out additional Rs. 10,435/- to buy another ticket of Air India to reach Pune which was purely due to my late arrival because of Air India Flight number AI-410 from Patna to Delhi. This is a substantial unnecessary monetary loss to me for which Air India is solely responsible.
        4. Due missing the Pune Kingfisher flight and whole day wait and waste at Delhi Airport till 5.30 hrs, I was harassed.
        5. At Delhi airport, the Air India staff were not supportive to facilitate my further journey to Pune which is quite shocking to me.
        Please look into the above stated facts and compensate me adequately. My contact details are as under:

        Air India — Delay for 9 hours

        Air India is one company that i have seen had multiple issues.First they wo'nt call u when flight is delayed,there is no staff to help.After Diwali on Sunday(7 Nov 2010),there is utter chaos on International Airport.People have confirmed tickets and no seat is given.Looks like post Diwali they have sold it at higher rate so as to receive good money.I think no body should take ever an AIR INDIA or INDIAN AIRLINES flight.They are literally SARKARI and will remain so.MAY THIS END.Helpline pople make fun of you.PLZ PLZ PLZ do'nt hire any AIR INDIA flight.

          Hi, I am Ajitkumar Pillai.
          I booked an airticket from Mumbai to Kochi electronically through Yatra.com with PNR No. H94TN.
          and ticket no.[protected]. The carrier was Air India A681.The travel date was 11-Sep-2011.
          I had only a red color American Tourister bag as baggage, weighing 11-12 Kgs. It had some food items and clothes in it. The bag was tagged (carrier tag no.[protected]. It was a bag that was gifted by my company colleagues in Mumbai, from where I was transferred to Kochi in May ’11.
          Reaching Kochi Airport, I understood that the bag was misplaced by Air India officials and had not reached the Kochi Airport on 11-sep-2011. Hence, I lodged a complaint with the Duty officer at the AI counter at Kochi Airport. She told me that in 1 hour, they would call me and update the status. After an hour, I called them at the mobile no given by her i.e. [protected]. The officer Mr. Srinivasan told me, that they were enquiring with Mumbai Airport for the status of the bag.
          On 12-Sep-2011, I called on the same mobile no @10 am and was told by the AI officer, that the bag was tracked and would be delivered during the day. Later at 1.30pm, on calling them was told that a Kochi bound flight has refused to pick the bag and hence another flight or any AI flight would deliver it. Then on calling @7 pm, I was told that the bag has landed and was dispatched @6.50 pm by taxi.
          He also did not have the driver’s contact no. Since, my residence was 1 hour drive from the Airport and keeping the possible traffic jam in mind, I waited till 8.30 pm and checked again. Later, I lost my cool and shouted at the officer on duty, as they were not picking my calls and threatened to take serious action, the officer on duty one Mr. Vijay finally relented and called me back and provided the Driver’s name and details.
          The bag was finally delivered to me @10 pm. It was in a bad shape, as the Airline had dumped the bag and rats had damaged my bag. It is in a very bad shape. (As shown in the pictures attached). More than the cost of the bag, it was the emotional attachment to this gifted bag that has caused grievous pain to me. The food items were damaged and a lot of clothes are also in bad condition.
          The driver wanted me to acknowledge receipt in the copy that was given to me. He was surprised to note that my bag was just 4 months old. Such is the condition of my bag. After refusing to part with it, he went back to get plain paper and returned with his copy. I acknowledged receipt after writing a complaint in the reverse side of the copy and have asked AI for suitable reimbursement.
          As a customer, do I have any measures to retrieve any compensation from AI? I am totally helpless and feel dejected and wonder how an Airline, which charges you has got away scot-free. They never called me to tell me the status. It was case o[censored]tter disregard for the Customer.

            I WAS TRAVELLING FROM KOCHI TO CHICAGO O' HARE ON 08/16/11 ON FLIGHT AI 127 , WITH MY FAMILY. 3 KIDS (INFANTS) AND MY WIFE. THE IMMIGRATION DEPT IN NEW DELHI AIRPORT WAS SO SLOW AND INDIFFERENT, WE HAD TO WAIT IN THE QUE FOR 1 HR AND HALF TO PASS THE IMMIGRATION SECTION. NO PRIORITY FOR FAMILIES WITH INFANTS OR SENIOR CITIZENS.

            THE WORSE THING HAPPENED IN THE FLIGHT. AFTER ALL THESE TORTURE AT THE AIRPORT, THEY GAVE US SEATS IN 3 DIFFERENT PLACES IN THE PLANE . MY INFANT CHILD WAS COMPLETELY EXHAUSTED AND WAS CRYING LOUDLY. SO I JUST WENT TO THE BACK OF THE PLANE ANS SAT IN A SEAT WHICH WAS VACANT, NOT REALISING IT WAS THE CREW'S SEAT. AFTER A WHILE THE CREW STARTED SERVING FOOD AND A PURSER CAME AND VERY RUDELY TOLD ME TO JUST GET UP FROM THE PLACE. " YOU JUST GET UP RIGHT NOW AND GO TO YOUR SEAT. " IT IS THE CREW'S SEAT. HE TALKED TO ME LIKE A CRIMINAL..I INFORMED HIM THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO SIT THERE FOREVER BUT UNTIL THE CHILD STOPS CRYING AS IT WAS BOTHERING THE OTHER PASSENGERS. BUT HE BECAME VERY FURIOUS AND VERY DISRESPECTFULLY TOLD ME JUST GET UP AND GO TO YOUR SEAT OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED WITH MISBEHAVING IN AIRPLANE...HIS BEHAVIOUR WAS VERY DISCRIMINATORY AND VERY DEMEAINING.

            I HAVE HIS NAME : MR. A. LUTFI . I HOPE THE AIR INDIA MANAGEMENT (MINISTER VAYALAR RAVI AND AIR INDIA MD MR. E.K.BHARATBHOOSHAN ) TAKE NOTE OF THIS. HE APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN UNDER SOME INFLUENCE. I COMPLAINED TO HIS SUPERVISOR AND SHE TOLD ME HE TALKS TO EVERYBODY LIKE THAT.

Therefore agent is not making balance paymet of Rs.2444. the agent's refrence no. is FMN0D99HUAC in which the balance amount was supposed to be refunded, therefore you are requested to approach air india to transfer the refunded amount in agent's refrence no quoted above

                My parents travelled with Air India AI 120 from Frankfurt - Delhi on 21st August 2011. On arrival in New Delhi, one baggage went missing. My father complained for the missing baggage and they registered the complaint for the same.

                After two days , baggage was sent by courier DTDC. What was surprising is that when my father received the baggage ,the lock on the bag was missing and their was one seal over it. He inquired for the same but courier agent said this is the status they have received the baggage.

                When we opened the baggage in home, few things were missing from the baggage. I don't understand how the lock was opened and things went missing from the baggage.

                  I initially planned to travel from EWR to HYD on 21-Aug
                  I re-scheduled to 28-Aug and agreed to pay Date Change Penatly of $111.

                  But, since there is hurricane alert on 28-Aug and I know that the flights will be cancelled, I requested your call center people to re-schedule to 26-Aug without Date Change Penalty. But your call center folks refused to waive the date change penalty and I had to pay $110.

                  I voluntarily accepted re-schedule of the flight to an earlier date which makes you one less passenger to worry about. Even then, you did not consider removing date change penalty. Can you please take this up with higher authorities and get a refund of my date change penalty.

                    This is in reference to my flight booking Nagpur- London (Via Delhi) ref no: H7PT5 . I was supposed to fly on Mon, 16th May, morning and I received a phone call on 14th May, Saturday from the Air-India stating that the flight from Nagpur to Delhi has been cancelled and I have to make my own arrangements. Although I asked for help with alternate options I was asked to find my own way. I could not find any other flights from Nag-Del at a suitable time at such a last moment. Hence, I had to make my own arrangements for flying to London through an alternate Airline, via Mumbai which costed me a great sum of money.

                    I had spoken to every single person I could get access to from Air India to get me ticket cancelled (cancellation being initiated by air India) and get the refund of ticket amount. However till date I have not received that money. I had called up the customer care, who redirected me to the city office, who has again redirected me to e-commerce since this was a web-booking. I wrote an e-mail to e-commerce the same day (14th May, before my travel date), from where I didn't even get a reply. I have been following up with air India since 3 months now for my own money and there's absolutely no response.

                    I am extremely disappointed by the non-courteous behaviour and poor customer service provided by the air-line. The kind of inconvenience and harrassment that I have faced during the process can not be explained in words and I wonder how could they still go on promoting their flights and offers internationally when they can not respond and resolve a simple refund issue. This is a clear case of fraud and cheating and a reputed airlines is not expected to be doing so.I need my money back and for that I will not hesitate even to file a court case in consumer forum against the airline.

                      I have received a call regarding the ticket refund for the flight (AI 627 mumbai-nagpur date 29th Jul) I missed because of my earlier flight of Air India (AI 984 dubai-Mumbai date 28th Jul) was delayed by more than 2 hours.
                      As I have some urgent business deal I have to buy another airlines ticket. Expecting a full refund of my ticket.

                          i had booked a ticket (ETKT 098 [protected])online to travel from mumbai to delhi dated 19th aug...as per my ticket generated it had nowhere mentioned that the flight AI 314 would fly from international terminal as all the flights are being operated from domestic terminal. all other Air India flights were operating accordingly. the airline did not inform me that the terminal had been changed and many more passengers were left stranded without any assistance ...to top it all we had to pay extra rs 2000 to be shifted in another flight ... which operates from domestic terminal. i cannot even imagine that how can they do such a thing an we have suffered mentally and financially because of their error.

                          i requesgt you to take some action against this rediculous airline and such unprfessionalism

                            in 2008, August I came from USA to India. My baggages did not arrive on time and Air India offered me 3000/-. My baggage arrived thankfully in a week but after hundreds of calls and so much follow up, noone has even bothered to send me my money yet. Not sure who should I approach because noone at the airport picks up; noone responds to any email. Pathetic customer service. It has been 3 years since then.
                            On 19th Jan 2013, I came through AIR INDIA airline (Flight # AI 101) from INDIA to USA.

                            If delivery of baggage is delayed beyond 24 hours when a passenger is on a visit to a foreign country and has no access to their own wardrobe, then an interim expense of GBP 50.00 or equivalent in local currency is reimbursed. In India, the amount is INR 3, 000.00.

                            But customer service is warthless, not picking up the phone . They are not responding at all . Still I did not get my baggage. Please let me know how long I should wait.

                              Dear Team,

                              I have booked a flight from Indore to Delhi from Cleartrip company. The mode of payment was online and through internet. The date of journey was 16 aug from the flight 633 of Air India.I have reached on the correct time of boarding but there were no executive present for boardings.The delay happened for 15-20 mins. The flight time was 7.50 AM. Then after some time 1 executive at 7.20 AM told me that we have to check the seat availability. And then they given me boarding pass with seat number 1A, And after my baggage check in. My security checks happened. But then they denied taking me in in the flight.

                              They told me that there is no seat available and taken my boarding pass back. I have the security check in details with the baggage pass (detailed & computerized). I also have the stamped copy of my ticket which they cancelled after depart of the flight. They only told sorry and went. And the behavior they did at the airport when i asked for seat was very very shrud.

                              I lost my office for today also there is a big inconvenience happened with me as i am working with a big company. ICICI PRUDENTIAL as a Area Manager for Delhi region. I want your quick and strict action against Air India. I have not been informed 1 hr prior about the rush of Air India, Also no announcements for passenger's at lobby area. Also there is not announcements has been made after my security check. Just a person from air india came and denied me for boarding the flight.The probable reason seems that there is a big issue gong in Air India. There is some kind of back door entry happaning in Air India.

                              I am also attaching the scan copy of all proofs.

                                I, Savita Bajaj got two tickets booked in the month of May-2011 from Bangalore to Delhi for 15/08/2011 in the flight AI 501. Today that is on 13/08/2011 I have been informed that we two passangers have been shifted to the flight No. AI 503 although the flight has not been cancelled and there is no room in the flight. I am unable to understand that if the flight is not cancelled then why other passengers who got there seats booked months later than us are allowed to travel in the flight and we are thrown out of it. I talked with the customer executive Harvinder Singh who although accepts the mistake of the Air Line but shows his helplessness.

                                  3. SO ON 30 MAY I HAD REQUESTED FOR TRAVELLING CERTIFICATE AND TICKET FROM AIR INDIA'S IMPHAL CITY OFFICE
                                  4. I HAD WAITED FOR A WEEK, BUT NO RESPONSE CAME. THEN FROM THAT DAY FOR NEXT ONE MONTH I HAD KEPT CALLING THEM AND GOING THERE PERSONALLY, BUT THEY MADE FLIMSY EXCUSES AND DID NOT GAVE ME EITHER OF TWO DOCUMENTS REQUIRED.
                                  5. IN THIRD WEEK OF WHEN I FORCED MYSELF THEY GAVE ME TRAVELING CERTIFICATE.
                                  6. THE TICKET HAS TILL TODAY NOT BEEN GIVEN DESPITE REPEATED REMINEDERS.

                                    This is in reference to my visit to hyderabad by Air India on 28.07.2011 where we were distributed coupons regarding offering of internation branded products through Airbazar in association with AVA Merchandising solutions pvt Ltd. They offered me a wrist watch of Paul Philippe @ INR 599 which was to be collected from AVA Sales point. I had purchased one wrist watch with invoice number AIHYD-2888. But the point is this they are selling a intimate and duplicate copy of the original Paul Philippe ( there is a differnce in spelling of Paul Phillippe, which they tried to fool the people)

                                    I hereby request you to take a note of the cases as well as hundered of other complains made on your website and stop advertising and marketing of such duplicate internation product atleast by the national carrier.

                                    Apart their is no contact number and customer care service number available on their website of AVA.

                                    As i had been cheated by both the Airline and the Merchant.I am thinking of moving the case to the consumer forum for the sake of thousands of people who got cheated by the company.

                                    Air India — flight withdrawn, no intimation

                                    I booked 3 tickets on Air India flight No IC 496 for 7th Jan 2011 from Jaipur to Delhi vide PNR RNJF5W through Air India website (payment by credit card) on 18/10/2010.
                                    On arriving at the Airport on 7th Jan. morning, I was told that the said flight was abandoned since last 20 days.I was having a further connecting flight to London at 11.30 am on 7th Jan.
                                    Airlines did not informed of the abandoned flight though there was my Mobile No, My Landline No and my email id on the ticket. And moreover there was no one from the airlines at the airport to help me out or to take further decisions.They were just help less.
                                    I had purchased a multi-function footspa from Ava counter at kolkata airport while travelling from bagdogra to kolkata by airIndia flight number AI-722 on 22.02.12. The invoice number AICCU-11075 of the product cot Massage (Pink) AIEFEB12V1-2214 was paid in cash Rs 2190/- by me to counter executive Monalisa Shah. On 25.02.12, to try the product for the first time i filled it water and checked with a tester to avoid getting shock i found that current was leaking. i could have been killed had i not checked for leakage of current. where can i get footspa checked/ rectifed. my address for further correspondece is [protected]@rediffmail.com

                                      I was travelling from London to hyderabad in Air-India flight, flight no AI-130. It was indirect flight, i got down in mumbai and i have taken the luggage. Again i went to customs they opened my baggage and they checked everything and i was not taking too much luggage, but the customs people asked me to pay bribe for them. They took 2000 rs from me and when i came home and checked my luggage onw of my Iphone4 was missing. I have called to the mumbai police and spoke to police inspector he said his name Mr Thambe and his phone number is [protected]. Initially he aked me to come to mumbai,i told him it is not possible for me to come to mumbai again if he want i tol him i will send the bill to him. And one of the customs guy also his name is ratnesh and the number is [protected], he also called me and took all the information. After couple of days these two people called and said the found the phone and they will send with any of the officer coming to hyderabad. Again i called them after couple of days, they changed the entire story, they said they found others phone. Now they asking me to come to mumbai. Iam a indian and i really feel ashamed of indian. I never had a small problem in UK, as soon i entered in india these people behaved very cheaply with me.
