poor service and negligence by airline staff

I have faced problem twice in 3 days, i am explaining them both here.. this is a clear case of customer harassment and i want some action to be taken to compensate time i lost in these 2 scenarios not to mention the mental stress i have gone through during that time.

BAD SERVICE

My Director is a Flying Returns Member, but I have to face the disgusting Air India Services. I am extremely dissatisfied with your Airline Services – Be it Customer Service, Accounts or Ticketing Staff @Nariman Point Office.

First of all, when you call the customer service executives at the call centre either to make a booking or cancel a booking – Air India calls are not audible at all, voice is low and lot of disturbances...

Unhygienic Inflight snack (Small cockroach in fruit cake)

The snack pack consisted of Sandwich, a fruit cake and a small bottle of water.

BAD TREATMENT BY PURSER

Date Change Penalty

I initially planned to travel from EWR to HYD on 21-Aug
I re-scheduled to 28-Aug and agreed to pay Date Change Penatly of $111.

But, since there is hurricane alert on 28-Aug and I know that the flights will be cancelled, I requested your call center people to re-schedule to 26-Aug without Date Change Penalty. But your call center folks refused to waive the date change penalty and I had to pay $110.

Compensation not sent

in 2008, August I came from USA to India. My baggages did not arrive on time and Air India offered me 3000/-. My baggage arrived thankfully in a week but after hundreds of calls and so much follow up, noone has even bothered to send me my money yet. Not sure who should I approach because noone at the airport picks up; noone responds to any email. Pathetic customer service. It has been 3 years since then....
