I booked a ticket for my brother in AirIndia Express using my credit card for a journey on[protected] from Dubai-Calicut-Dubai and the booking reference number is GA31TL (amount 1,405.64 AED). And a day before the journey they send the sms telling the flight got cancelled, because of that we bought another ticket in another airline by paying the double the amount. They told they will refund the money, i contacted Abu Dhabi office and Dubai office there was no action from their side, i send the mail for the refund and final reply was on the 11th july telling that they sent a message to the airport to confirm the passenger status and once that is confirmed they will refund. It has been more that 4 months after the flight cancellation and no refund from the air india side. I need to get the refund at the earliest with out any delay, as my time and money is involved in this.

Dear All,

I Saket Priyadarshi, had booked flight from Bhopal to Mumbai for 30 Nov, 2012 where Ticket No.[protected] and PNR-HCRZJ and Flight No.- Air India AI-634 and timing Bhopal Departure at 19:45,[protected] and Mumbai arrival at 22:20,[protected] on my ticket.
Now, air India showing my online ticket with same PNR and Ticket No. and new timing 07:45 departure and 09:05 arrival on 30ht Nov itself.
I have been trying to reach your so-called Custom Care[protected]/[protected] numbers at least 50 times… but no one even bothers to resolve the issue on the phones. According to yours executives Ms. Sonia, Ms. Parveen and many other guys told me flight may rescheduled but they don’t know anything else then s/he transferred the call to another number which was never picked. Same incident was going likely from last 2 days almost 50 times. Calling Number is always[protected] so check your call history.
Don't know what will come out of this complaint/grievance. But I’ve been troubled and being put through hell by the damn bloody Air India and its Customer Services. This might be a trivial issue for Air India such a carefree attitude is totally unacceptable!
Well... I know that things are beyond my control and hence I do not want to impose my thoughts on your organization. All I need from you is guidance on what needs to be done so that I will travel on time. Hoping that you would respond to my plea soon.

    CARELESS ATTITUDE OF INDIAN AIRLINES
    I would like to bring in the terrible experience we had on for our flight from New Delhi to Ahmedabad. Our flight was scheduled from New Delhi on 13 July 2012 at 0600 hrs in the morning. We were four family members to board. Myself (Ajay Arora), my wife( Paramjit kaur) and my twin infants ( Devansh and Divyanshi each 07 months old).
    Even though we had to handle two infant babies with us we reached the airport before time and checked in at 0450 hrs. We were issued with the boarding pass at 0528 hrs due to rush at the queue. Thereafter we went for the security check of the hand bags. We were made to wait there for another 5 to 10 minutes. After the security clearance we walked to the main exit gate for boarding the aircraft with both o[censored]s loaded with our twin babies and the handbags. The moment we reached the gate they said that they were waiting for us. Then we explained to them that we were stuck at the security check. The other person on duty said that now we cannot board the plane as the air crew will not allow us to. They refused to open the gate and curtly asked us to return and ask at the enquiry counter. They did not listen to our explanation of being held at the security check counter. The staff did not even pay heed to the point that, me and my wife were travelling with one infant each in our hands and the hand baggages too. They only told us that your luggage will be downloaded from the aircraft and be given back to us at the basement area. Devastated we had no other way but to return back to the enquiry area for the future of the tickets on which we were to travel. Moreover I was more worried about my office meeting /conference which I would miss at my Ahmedabad office for which I was travelling. We faced procedural difficulties to return to enquiry counter via security counter also. After reaching enquiry counter we were told that we have to purchase fresh tickets and it is not sure for which flight time get the tickets. After running around for two hours and requesting we were given tickets of 2030 hrs flight the same evening. During this running around my wife was alone handling both the infants with no facility of even a pram or a carrycot at the airport (we enquired but were told that there is no such facility) where as we studied on the net for Indian airlines that care is taken for infants by providing a pram. We sat at the waiting area throughout the day with whatever minimal was available with us. The care, the responsibility factor that Indian airlines has shown towards me, my ailing wife and my twin infants has cautioned me against the poor service, irresponsibility and carelessness of the Indian airlines.
    Not only that the flight we had in the evening was late by 30 minutes. In front o[censored]s in waiting lounge we saw the aircrew rather the captain scolding the gate staff for not announcing the flight calls and not even informing the waiting passengers for boarding of the airlines. The same was not even known to captain and aircrew who in hurry went for the airlines in front o[censored]s and the other passengers. After boarding the airlines we came to know that we were given the seats besides the emergency door. With the infants each in our lap somehow travelled our journey still wondering whether to travel by Indian airlines or not in future. We had to travel further from Ahmedabad to our place of reaching point (Vadsar) by taxi at midnight with our luggage and babies in hand paying another Rs 1500/-.
    There was another point noticed by us. When we had checked in our luggage in the morning it weighed 60 kg approx. whereas when we weighed the same luggage while checking in at the evening it weighed 54 kg approx. it questions , are the Indian airlines weighing machines calibrated in time, or the show weight at random as per their whims and fancies.
    Once the boarding passes are issued to the passenger is it not the responsibility of the airlines to help the passenger and rather wait for the passenger to board the aircraft??? The harassment we faced throughout the day with our infants crying (being uncomfortable at the airport), the time wasted by us at the airport ,the financial loss I faced for repurchasing the tickets, the conference which I missed was a horrendous experience and is unpardonable. Many of my friends had advised me not to opt for Air India but still then i persisted with my decision as i have been flying using Air India for quite a while.
    But i am sorry to say that after this incident i would never use Air India for any of my travel purposes. Moreover i would advise my colleagues to opt for some other flight.
    For the financial loss of Rs 35,484/- approx and the harassment we faced during our journey from New Delhi to Ahmedabad, I request the authorities of Indian airlines to compensate for my loss.

    Taxi Charges: 1500/-
    Mentally Harassment: 25000/-
    Total: 35484/-

      I, Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed boarded in Air India passenger plane no.AI-615, boarding no.42, seat no.17C originated from Riyadh to Hyderabad via Mumbai. I have lodged a complaint with the Air India help desk with my suitcase bearing no.AI 140426/27 on 17th august 07:40 am. I have been told that i will be getting my luggage on various times by many useless people out there, not responding to any query, giving false promises. I came to celebrate Id-ul-Fitr which falls on Monday(20th august) and all my necessities for the festival are stuck in those 2 carrier baggage. I request all the responsible officials to release my lawful luggage as soon as possible. Thank you.

        Hello Sir:

        This Aug 15, 2012 morning we were supposed to fly from Mumbai to Goa at 5:15am. The tickets specified that we reach 45 minutes before departure, and were informed the is a domestic flight and were to report at Sahar (Domestic Airport), we reachced the airport at 3:45am for the 5:15 flight. At the terminal we were then informed that the flight is from the Internation terminal (terminal II). Again, this was no where specified that the domestic flight will leave from international terminal. We reached the international terminal at 4:10 am and as soon as we reached there we were told that the flight was closed. On futher checking with the booking counter later we were informed that this flight and all flight for the day were oversold and were provided incorrect reason that the gate was close 60 minutes prior to departure. We had reached there 70 minutes before the fligh and also the printed document from Air India states that all domestic flight we are supposed to show up 45 minutes prior to the flight. We were wrongly denied to board the fligh and now have to buy higher fare tickets to make our trip to Goa.
        This is a scam from Air India, where in the over sold position was categgorized as late arrivals when infact we were there 70 minutes prior and also the tickets itinerary from the Air India web site specifically states 45 minutes prior to departure, the company denied us boarding. There were in all 30 passengers along with us with the same situation.

          I retired on 31st. March,2007 from Air India working in Mumbai. I was contributing to the Group Scheme for several years, but I submitted the LIC form in December 2010.

          Inadvertantly I wrote my bank Account No. as "[protected]" which is wrong (missed out one zero) the correct Number and other bank details are as mentioned below:
          Name : Pradyuman Kumar, Bank Of Baroda, Mittal Tower Branch, Andheri Kurla Road, "[protected]".
          I understand that you have already sent a cheque to the wrong account number, which must have been returned.
          I regret the mistake and request you to kindly make the correction.

            I canceled it at the call centre. Agent name- Jaffar on 25/04 at 21.00 hrs (IST)

            I did sent you the same mail before but still haven't got any response from you, Its been 6 weeks now & I'm in URGENT need of money. I''m paying late fees & interest & charges on my credit card.

            I would like to raise a complaint since I've suffered a lot of STRESS & loss by paying charges. Waiting for refund - ASAP.

              I booked flight for 12 th may from Delhi to London, Flight has been cancalled by airindia
              I asked for refund they replied me that refund will process within 15 working days
              its 1 month Now !!!
              but i have not recieved refund till now today is 11th june..
              i email them so many times and called them but same reply you wil receive wihin 3-4 days
              but now i am sending emails and they are not replying
              its really annoying me and i am paying late fee of my credit card as well

              today i called [protected] on this number and one lady pick phone & she was very rude to me and she didnot even tell her name but speaks very rudely to me and disconnect my phone. After that no one pick call
              this is really bad For Airindia Airline ,if they are doing like this...firsly they cancalled my flight before 6 hrs and then they are not giving my refund and now they are speaking rudely...i will not travel by airindia in my wholelife and i am suggesting to others as well..they are really cheap people

                My Name is Indermeet Singh, Yesterday I have appeared for the IATA Exam which is conducted by IATA Montreal, Canada and is Monitered by the AIR INDIA staff in India. We were alloted our exam sheets at 09:48 instead of the usual time of 09:30 and were taken back at the specified time of 12:30. I even showed the time at the time to the concerned person to note that the exam sheets are being delivered late(The exam is of 3hrs)The reason behind the delay was that the Head of the department of Air India Mrs RENU SHARMA arrived late at the examination center. At the time of taking the answer sheets back, all the students were shouting that we have received the sheets late, but she didn’t even cared, As of the result of her being late, the student’s carrier is at stake, I myself was not able to write the complete exam. The matter could be verified by any student some of the numbers which are as under. Saket [protected], Rahul [protected]. This is a very serious matter and the carrier of many students is at Stake as because of the irresponsibility of 01 person all will suffer

                  Not only did I have difficulty understanding the Air India rep on the phone, but after he was rude, I asked to speak to his supervisor. He said NO AND THEN HUNG UP on me. He was extremely rude. I get that this is India, but honestly, when I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, I expect it. Don't EVER use this airline. SPICEJET is the way to go!

                    I booked ticket from Kolkata to Mumbai via my HDFC net banking, Ticket Web reference AIBE4084789 and Booking Reference No. J3JQT on 8the May 2012 and Rs.7951/- debited from my HDFC account (Narration-MHDF[protected]-BilldkAIR INDIA) but ticket not receive.

                    When we reported thee same to Air India[protected] theey informed theey not receive any cash due to theat ticket get cancelled.

                    Then we reported theis problem to HDFC help desk Comp. No. MUMC[protected] but theey informed amount already transfer to Air India and need to fallow up withe theem.

                    Now please suggest Air India not receive any amount but HDFC informed amount sent to Air India theen where is my cash....

                    Please help it's almost monthe pass.......

                      We had booked air india ticket from Delhi to jammu and return ticket as well on 12th april for the journey date as below:
                      delhi to jammu:21st june 2012
                      jammu to delhi:25th/24th June 2012
                      Due to unavoidable circumstances we are unable to perform the journey on the above mentioned, so we rescheduled the ticket to 15th june 2012 and 18th june 2012 respectively. Due to unavailability of the return tickets,only delhi to jammu ticket has been rescheduled to 15th june 2012. We want refund of our return journey ticket but they are everytime giving some or the other excuses. they are saying you will get money at delhi. sometimes they are saying you will get money in Jammu.
                      not sure what to do?

                      so the whole journey is been planned according to dialysis dates.

                        Our flight number AI 191 was cancelled due to flight strike on 8th May 2012. We were not informed about This cancellation of flight till 1:40 (scheduled departure time of flight) and Then when we asked reasons for delayed flight They just told us That flight is cancelled. We were not made available wiTh any waiting room and till 6 o clock in The morning no one gave us a satisfactory answer. After 6 o cl we were given tickets of flight number AI131 which was till London, from London airport we have linked flight o[censored]nited airways to Newark. In This flight only one check in bag was allowed and as per Air India we were having two check in bags. We were charged 70$ for 1 check in bag As we were having 4 check in bags we were charged wiTh 140$. This was not at all our fault and Air India did not responded to it. Whom should we contact wiTh for This issue, we have all relevant documents for payment of money.

                            I traveled via Air India - AI 127 on 15th May, had a checked in luggage (A hard board tube, 4 ft long, containing 2 posters) at Chicago airport.
                            I complained at San Francisco airport (final destination), American Airlines, vide file locator - TXLTGM, Name - Mistry Jitendrakumar.

                            According to verbal communication with American airlines person, the baggage is at Chicago Airport since 1 day, despite of message to Air India by Amercian airlines, the Air India s not releasing the baggage.

                            We are all the way to US for the presentation of these posters on 17th May. Because o[censored]nacceptable delay from Air India this has happened. We tried to call multiple times on [protected], [protected] and [protected] to contact with Air India authority. But either it kept on running cassette or they pick the phone and cut off.

                            This is really the worst service, we need an urgent action for the same

                              I had booked a ticket for Air India AI-510 Departure:Sat, 12 May, 10:50 Chennai (MAA) ConfirmedArrival:Sat, 12 May, 13:20 Cochin (COK) JY3HH and had reached the check in counter at 10.17 but the counter was closed. i had booked the ticket from yatra and no where was it mentioned that the counter closes 45 mins prior to departure. I was later told that the tax would be reimbursed but the tax is shown in the ticket as 0 Rs. PNR :JY3HH. Surcharge and fees :Rs.1,971 and base fare Rs.2,300. Very bad experience from the airlines!

                                I booked air India flight (AI188) ,confirmation code- Y3BBJ for may 9th 2012 for 2:30pm and the haven't informed or email me regarding flight cancellation. i got to know after reaching the airport.how come the air lines is so irresponsible regarding customers inconvenience!! i came to the airport spending $200 for taxi.and the customer service was too bad as they are talking so rude when i asked them to please send me the conformation ticket for the next flight date and they said we cant are we are not responsible for all this.i dint expect this kind of service from air India. i expect to get some of my money refund as i lost my valuable time and money. and your airways proved that its just waste of booking the ticket in your airlines even two months earlier.hope i will never book the ticket on your airlines.

                                  My Name is Sandip Pramanik and the mob no is :- [protected]. I have booked my Air India ticket using http://www.airindia.in on 27-April-2012, at the time of money transaction from my SBI account to Air India account through net banking, I have received SMS from SBI but money (Rs: 6731/-) has been debited from my SBI account but PNR number not generated yet. I complain to Air India customer care they check my all details and told that this is a failed transaction, so money will be credited to your account between 48 hours to 72 hours’. Today is 2th may (Approx. 130hours over) have not received money yet, I called many times to Air Indian they said that call to [protected] and contact to your bank, but I tried to reach to this number yet.

                                    I WAS TRAVELLED FROM KOLKATA TO SILCHAR ON 29/02/2012.I GOT BOARDING PASS HAVING SEAT NO. A-15.BUT THE SAME SEAT WAS ALLOTED TO THE ANOTHER PASSENGER.AFTER ENQUIRY AIR INDIA AUTHORITY TOLD ME YOUR TICKET IS CANCELLED,SO YOU HAVE TO GET DOWN FROM OUR AIR BUS .IF YOU WILL NOT GET DOWN FROM THE AIR BUS WE WILL THROW YOUR LUGGAGE. THEY CALLED FOR SECURITY.SO I REQUESTED AND PURCHASED ANOTHER (NEW) TICKET.THEN AFTER I WAS ALLOWED TO TRAVELL.

                                      My name is Ranjan. I was traveling to Patna with my very young 5 1/2 month old daughter. I had flight (AI 415)at 8 pm today, for which I went 45 minutes ahead at around 7.05 pm for taking boarding pass. There was a gentleman and his family ahead of me. That family had an infant whose ticket they didn't had. In between attending his queries, the attendant at counter 13, Ms Radhika Joshi whispered to a fellow colleague and then she informed me that I cant board the flight. Except Ms Joshi nobody was wearing a name batch that they are supposed to wear. After denying my boarding pass, she issues new ticket to that gentleman's infant. she had no room for me but she had room for 6+ people on board. When I asked what can I do now to board the flight she said she cant help me and did not give me any proper answer. Then she directed me to go to reservation counter with my grievances. The reservation counter person was also not wearing any name batch.She told me that she can book me in another flight with additional charges of over 6 thousand.

                                      I have been very loyal to Air India but their shabby treatment to consumers is shameful. I was traveling with my young daughter but clearly they lacked basic humanity to deal with the situation with decency. They are being disloyal to their duties and towards us consumers. I strongly advice you to send me your apologies and compensate for mental and physical trauma you have put me through by making me run counter E to reservation counter back and forth many times with my young baby and luggages. Please take strong action against involved staff and manager at that time. whose name I don't know because they were not wearing name batch. I have my Phd Viva in Gaya, its really urgent to go there via Patna.

                                        I booked the direct flight from Abu dhabi to New Delhi and return New Delhi to Abu Dhabi. But Air India has changed the flight to Via Baharain. Due to this I reached my Destination Abu Dhabi 3 hours late.

                                        Actual Flight timing was 20:15 (NDL) - 22.35 (Abu Dhabi)
                                        Changed Timing 17:45 (NDL) - 22:25 (Abu Dhabi)

                                        Air India just send me the email that timing is changed to 17:45 but didn't mention that it will be via Baharain.

                                        I was travelling with my pregnent wife and daughter. We faced too much trouble during this jouney.

                                        Air India — loss of baggage still unaddressed in 24 hour

                                        i have travelled from delhi to singapore on 16 th mid night at 12:05AM.Reached singapore at 5 am IST.My baggage was missing.The singapore airlines people are trying hard to contact the air india but they are not checking on it.I personally also tried to call them.They are not answering any of the calls.I am left without any essential items in a foreign country.I want to trace my luggage at the earliets and want the airline to compensate for the loss as i have to buy all necessary item i lost.Please check on this i am in great trouble.Please contact singapore number:+[protected]
