Hi,
I just booked my tickets from Chicago to New Delhi on Nov 22, 2020 for 1410 dollars. I have mentioned the Eticket number here. I called BudgetAir regarding my refund amount as I cancelled the air ticket. They said that AirIndia is delaying the refund amount for cancellation. I called the Airindia team too and they said that the refund amount is IN PROGRESS. And I have to email del.[protected]@airindia.in to get the status on it.i CALLED MANY TIMES TO CUSTOMER CARE, BUT NOT GETTING PROPER RESPONSE ON MY REFUND.

I like to know when I will be getting my refund amount. It's been more than 7 months and this is no making sense to keep my amount without returning back. We are booking in AirINDIA as its reputed Airlines, but this doesn't make sense by not giving my money back.
I like to know an estimated time/date for my refund money. THIS IS NOT FAIR TO KEEP OTHERS MONEY AND NOT GIVING BACK.

    Payment deducted from my bank account but ticket not issue

    Amount was deducted from my bank account but ticket not issue and booking was made on 2nd June 2022 for the departure date of 7th June 2022 from imphal to delhi on AI890 Flight for 14:20hrs that was also in combined booking for two passenger as an amount of Rs10126

    Baggage Loss

    I travelled on 03.06.2022 from Kolkata to Frankfurt via Delhi. I had two bags but at Frankfurt airport I had received only one. I made a complaint (Compliant No. FRAAI108555)

    It has been 60 hours that you did not find out my luggage. What a bad luggage service and customer care service provided by Air India. What an unprofessional work you are doing.

    I have cancelled my ticket from Delhi to Sydney on 22 march for travel date 24 march through your customer care. When I cancelled the ticket, it was told to me that refund will come in 14-21 working days. After catching up repeatedly with Airindia customer care, still I haven't got any refund. First if all the process was so delayed to initiate refund and at last when they told me it's initiated on 4th may and will be processed in 14-21 working days. I was hopeful this time it will go through and I will get my money back. But until now my refund is not processed and after checking with them multiple times, no one is able to provide me reference number for transaction so that I can check with bank as my bank says they haven't received any refund. Can you please help me with reference transaction number so that i can check with bank. Please find below details:

        I, Assistant Executive Engineer, Somesh Soni, working in border Roads Organisation(Ministry of Defence) was booking a flight from Dibrugarh to New Delhi on 29 June 2022 and New Delhi to Dibrugarh on 19 July 2022 but could not find any air India flight in irctc air, the authorised government site to book air tickets. so I would like to book indigo ticket instead for the same dates and would like to get a Non availability certificate to avail the leave travel concession for the said commutation.

          Hello,

          When I booked my sister's(Jalakh Bhat) ticket from Air India's official website on May 28, I got a confirmation email stating that my ticket is confirmed along with the PNR number. But while check-in at the Bengaluru airport today, I was told that my ticket is not confirmed as the ticket number is not generated.This is very misleading and I had to struggle a lot due to some glitch from the air india technical team end which might have occured during ticket booking, and to which I/customer is totally unaware of. I was under the impression that my ticket is confirmed as mentioned in the attached confirmation email.

          I spoke with customer care for 2 and half hours asking to provide any alternate solution or any kind of help, but they just hung up all my calls after I explained my situation which I had been laid into due to actually their fault.

          Request you to kindly take strong action for such kind of customer harrasment.

                My family and I were traveling from Newark International airport to New Delhi via Air India flight no. AI 106 on 30th May 2022.
                I had confirmed tickets for my family and me under PNR No. HSDN3 and J1W8Y. We stood in a queue for more than 1.5 hours to check in at the Air India counter at the Newark airport.
                When it was our turn to check in, we were denied to check in with a reason that all seats in the plane were occupied and no seats were available for us.

                How Air India could give my seats to other passengers without my prior consent? How Air India could deny us to board without any valid reason?
                This is highly unethical and unprofessional practice to deprive us of board. I had booked tickets 3 months in advance.

                Even after asking and following the staff for around 4 hours, we were informed that our tickets were issued for next day flight.
                Air India had provided a deteriorated hotel near the airport which does not even have a food facility. Additionally providing any convenient transport facility to the hotel,
                a map was shown to reach the hotel by internal train and pick-up facility of the hotel.

                We were deeply disappointed and frustrated for carrying 8 check in and 3 cabin baggage along with 2 small kids in public transportation and pick-up service.
                We spent a sleepless night without enough food and facilities.

                We passed through tremendous inconvenience, disappointment and frustration due to unprofessional and unethical practices of Air India.
                I Even I lost my one day pay due to failure to report in my office in time.

                We expect apology along with fairly compensation of the trouble, trauma due to unprofessional and unethical conduct from Air India.

                  We booked Air India tkts to travel from Bikaner to Bengaluru vida Delhi on 1st January 2022. While we travelled from Bikaner to Delhi sector by Air India but this flight was late and we missed the connecting Air India flight from Delhi to Bangalore. We approached air India reservation /ticketing counter and they informed you cancel the tkts and you will get full refund for Delhi Banglore sector as you are holding full sector Air India tkts . we cancelled the tkt but refund not made till today. our complaint details on Air India Portal are as follows:

                    Dear Sir

                    I am holding the below tickets and would like to reschedule due to the spread and infection by OMICORN as per the covid rules applicable by Odisha Health and BMC.

                    1. Krushna Praharaj – Z605D – BOM-BBI-BOM - Travel Date 7th Jan 2022 and return on 12th Jan 2022

                    2. Bina Praharaj – HYS8H – BOM-BBI-BOM - Travel Date 7th Jan 2022 and return on 12th Jan 2022

                    Kindly reschedule the above tickets for 5th April 2022 and return on 12th April 2022.

                    Series of Incidents from 6th Jan 2022.

                    On 6th Jan 2022, I called the call center No:[protected] and trust me I have been kept on hold till 59.59 Hours and disconnected. I called to reschedule cause my Wife Bina caught covid through a test, test report is attached for your reference.

                    I tried 6-7 times and kept me waiting till 1 hour and used to get disconnected. (You can check and verify from the call logs. My calls were made from [protected] and [protected].

                    I tried on 7th as well and the sequence of events was like 6th and cannot get connected with any agent.

                    On 9th Jan 2022, one Sonali called and took all details then said she was transferring the call to another person who would be issuing the ticket as per my request date, but it was the same I was holding the call for 1 hour and then disconnected.

                    Again I received a call on 19th Jan @ 4.00 PM and assured me the ticket is rescheduled on the requested date and I need to goto AirIndia office to collect the same with submission of my covid report of +ve and -Ve both.

                    I went to AirIndia office on 13th Jan 2022 and waited for 30 mins outside the office, then went to window no 5 and the person said your ticket says NO SHOW, so I can not help

                    I tried to explain to him that if the Air India phones are not picked up by the staff what a person can do. He said that's none of our business. on top he shouted at me for no reason, still i took it as he is a senior person and may be frustrated on such events.

                    I went to see the Manager, she was cooperative and heard my case well and requested the counter no 5 to do the needful. Counter 5 booked my ticket for 5th April and returned on 12 April, when he saw my reports are Antigen test, he again said it can not be done as they need a RTPCR Test.

                    Unfortunately i have an Antigen test for both but i can not get a RTPCR for the day 5th Jan but i can get a RTPCR for now as a negative report. But they refused and sent me back with can not help

                    I traveled 35 KM for this and wasted the day without any fault of mine. On Top the manager says it will be alright cause TATA is taking over, that means she confirms it's not right now.

                    My Question here is:

                    1. Irrespective of the Covid Report, when i tried to call and reschedule my ticket on 6th, no one picked and the intention of Air India is to make NO SHOW and invalid the ticket. ONE WAY OF CHEATING THE CUSTOMER.

                    2. We do not differentiate Antigen and RTPCR, that too could have explained to us when we called on 6th or 7th, I would have done a RTPCR rather than Antigen.

                    The amount of MENTAL PRESSURE AND TORTURE given by Air India its not ACCEPTABLE.

                    The office is saying we are not responsible for what the call center person is saying.

                    IT WAS SHOWING AN ATTITUDE OF NOT HAVING RESPONSIBLE FOR THE JOB THEY HAVE ASSIGNED.

                    Again my question is, why such people are there on the front end and why there is no such escalation matrix to use and rectify such cases.

                    I need a resolution and also an explanation for why not publish this on the news for avoid many people praying for the trap of AIR INDIA.

                      Booked return flight ticket today morning, 1st Jun 22, from Air India website from Delhi to IAD (Washington) for 13th July 22 and return on 21st Dec 22 with following passenger names :
                      Pankaj Sinha DOB 06/09/1953
                      Shashi Sinha DOB 09/12/1953
                      Paid for two persons tickets online.
                      The payment was completed and I received the message also but not any tickets or itinerary or PNR number. I used [protected]@gmail.com as email address to book the tickets). After successful payment from the Air India website displays an error like
                      THERE HAS BEEN AN ERROR WITH YOUR REQUEST.
                      Payment has been collected. Sorry, we were not able to ticket your booking due to some technical reasons. We shall mail the tickets to you shortly.
                      I did not receive any email (checked spam folder also multiple times) or message from Air India. Tried customer care but they do not give any satisfactory response.
                      I wonder how Air India has done the transaction without sending a ticket or notification. I would request the tickets as soon as possible.
                      I hope Air India would send me the tickets soon.

                        I booked a round ticket through alliance air web site for going to Bengaluru from Hyderabad. The travel date from Hyderabad was on 16th May 2022 and return date was on 19th May 2022. On 16th May the alliance air informed that due heavy rain at Bengaluru the flight was indefinitely delayed. As I had to go urgently I cancelled the ticket at alliance air counter at Hyderabad when the person at the counter clearly informed that only one side ticket is cancelled and not the return ticket. I had to purchase spot ticket by paying heavy amount and travel by Indigo flight.He also informed that the refund will be made with in 7days. However, up till 31st May i.e. even after lapse of 15 days the refund has not been made. Further, on 19th May for return journey when I contacted alliance air they informed that both the to and fro ticket has been cancelled. Due to this I had to make last minute arrangement and had to travel bus. Please take up the matter with the company for refund of the amount and compensation for late refund, as I am incurring interest on my loan account, and for the mental agony I made to suffer on account of the alliance air's irresponsible behaviour.

                            I was denied a boarding pass when I tried to check in for my AI - 425 flight from DEL to CCJ at 05:45 AM. Initially, I tried web check-in and it failed with error details not found, So I called the airline and they said you can check in at the counter. At the counter, they denied boarding pass stating this ticket is not found in our system. I had booked a confirmed ticket on goibibo platform with a PNR 5TRTKO paying Rs 11285 including all charges. I want a full refund and compensation for the additional expenditure towards my onward travel itinerary that got disrupted due to Air India. Soon after a while at the counter in DEL airport, I could see more than 22 people facing the same issue on flight AI-425. I suspect this is a pure case of ticket bumping and we valid passengers who got tossed for greed have to be given the appropriate compenstaion.

                                    My name is Sanjay and I had booked a round trip flight from Korea to India under booking reference H5NP7 and canceled it within the next two days because of my job commitment. Its been almost a month since I applied for the refund but I didn't receive any refund amount although the company claims that you get the refund within 14-21 days. Even after asking them multiple times both through email and customer care services, I didn't recieve any proper explanation for the delay. All they say is to wait more. Please look into the matter.
