This is to inform you that I tried to book a ticket for two passengers through Air India website on 17/04/2021 at around 9:30p.m. for travelling from Guwahati to Imphal with Air India fight no AI-889 and travelling date is 18/04/2021.However, after the completion of the payment it failed to generate the ticket though the amount of Rs.6078/- has been deducted from the account. Since, we do not have the facility to visit any Air india office at that very moment, I tried to contact the customer service to enquire about it for an hour but failed, later at around 10:30np.m we book 2 different tickets for the same passengers in the same flight AI-889 through Flipkart as it is very urgent for us and cannot wait further for the customer care to pick up my call . Next day at around 8:00 a.m I contacted the customer care and advised me to write to [protected]@airindia.in for the refund process. Accordingly, I write to [protected]@airindia.in and wait for their reply but even after waiting for 3 working days I failed to receive any confirmation mail so I went to Air India Office situated at Bapupara Imphal Manipur. There, they provide me two tickets that failed to generate at the time of booking on 17/04/2021 and advise me to write to ecommerce attaching all the tickets including those that has been used in travelling. As per their advise, I am attaching herewith all the four tickets and mark as ticket 1, 2 3 and 4 in the attachment for your ready reference. Tickets 1 and 2 are provided from the Air India office that fail to generate at the time of booking and asking for the refund whereas 3 and 4 are tickets books through flipkart which has been used. In the light of that kindly make the necessary arrangement to refund the amount of Rs.6078/- as early as possible.

[protected]@airindia.in on 23th April 2021 as per the advice from the staff of Air India whos office is located at Bapupara Imphal Manipur. However till today I have not received any reply from the Air India.
Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
