I had booked my ticket from Delhi to Patna for Tavel journey on 28th May 2021.

Due to Covid and lock down and that peak time I reached Airindia customer service and they said they will cancel my existing booking and will keep the ticket open so I can rebook it anytime by Sep.

Since Aug 29th I am trying to reach Air India who has 2 steps of call execution . On 1st step they take all information and says they they are transferring the call to e-Ticketing department and they will issue ticket. This never happens the calls gets disconnected abruptly or never gets transferred. The 1st line of agents os denying direct call no.

We are internationally located and have no other access to Air India except there call Nos . Soon we are going to loose all booking amount . I would like to lodge complaints against false promises and denial of service against AirIndia who is just refusing to refund or reissue public money.

    I booked Air India tickets through yatra.com for a round trip from Seoul to Bhubaneswar on 4th July 2020 and Bhubaneswar to Seoul on 10th August 2020 (booking ref.[protected]. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic 2020 unprecedented situation, my flight got canceled and advised us to reschedule the flight till 31st December 2021. Since then, it's been more than 1 year, I am continuously sending emails for a refund of my flight tickets. But, it has been informed to me by yatra.com that the "​refund claim for your booking is still pending with the airline under the refund application number (RA number) [protected]".

      I had booked an international flight on the 5th of August with Air India but had to cancel it immediately due to an emergency. I had booked it through Air India website itself and the cancellation was carried out through customer care. Once the cancellation was done I got a mail from ecommerce stating that I will receive my refund in my account within 25 days at the latest. But as of today, its already 30 days and I am yet to receive it. I will be leaving the country in a few days and my bank account will have to be closed. Hence its critical that the money transfer is done at the earliest.
      I have attached the email correspondence with ecommerce.

      Kindly assist me with this at the earliest.

        The ticket booked through easemytrip from delhi to Bangalore on 7th of june 2021 was cancelled by me. Trying for refund but to no avail .

          We booked airline tickets through Makemytrip for travel from udaipur to delhi and then delhi to Chandigarh. Flight was cancelled by air india and we raised refund request to makemy trip. As per Makemytrip They have already raised refund application through ref no [protected]/[protected] to air india on 07/08/2021 which is still pending after more than one month. Air india is not returning my money.

            I had booked with Air India under Ref ID YD7LZ And Eticket[protected]. from CCU to JFK via New dehli
            Owing to personal reasons I had to cancel. As per airline policy you have to issue refunds within 21 days, but despite 12 calls and innumerable emails, air India refuses to initiate the refund and gives the same generic response everytime.
            Please help getting the

                Hi Team,

                International ticket was booked in May 2021 and it was cancelled. But I have not received refund yet. I have been following up with AirIndia team for last 3 months with no success. A case was created by their team long back but still no updates from their side. I am also following with them over email/calls but no result. Please find the case details below :

                  Hi,

                  I have sent several emails and also called Aur India customer care many time with zero results, it’s very frustrating indeed. I have 2 bookings from Sydney to Delhi flight which wasn’t used due to lockdown and it’s been a year since i am requesting them to either give me an extension to use the tickets or refund. Unfortunately after several attempts still i am waiting for their response. However, i do get a standard response from them over n over to call customer care. Ticket numbers are below for the reference:

                        I have booked tickets two way ticket for me last year but i did not received the refunds yet and AirIndia system says it was refunds but no.refund was reached to my account I have checked from Jan 15 till date. Please find the details below :-

                          Past Employer Not Providing Relieving Letter

                          I have resigned from AIASL (a subsidiary of Air India)about 50days before but till date I haven't received my Relieving/Experience Letter.
                          My current organization is asking for the Relieving letter else I will be terminated. I have mailed them several times but got no response....

                          My return flight was on May 17th and I had to cancel because of travel ban I have been trying to get a refund from past 4 months but it has been very difficult for me, every time I call customer care they say I will get my refund within 3 weeks . i havent received my refund yet

                            I cancelled my ticket in April 2021. Now it is almost September 2021, still no refund. Contacted Air India multiple times by Email and Telefone. Always the same reply, that the refund will be issued shortly.
                            Please let me know what is to be done now??

                            Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                            After 5 months and 10 phone calls, Air India has issued a refund.
                            That too a WRONG REFUND amount.
                            Ticket price is 340€ only 172€ was issued as refund.
                            Cancellation penalty was waived for all flights to and from Germany due to covid restrictions starting 26th April 2021. PDF is uploaded on Air India website. Customer care employess have absolutely no idea on this.

                              Refund request for the above stated ticket booking reference was made to [protected]@airindia.in on 4th June 2021 with subsequent two reminders in July/August but no response till date. Copy of the refund request is reproduced under:
                              Dear Sir
                              This is in reference to ticket booking reference HEP0E for 2passengers travelling from Jammu to New York & return.
                              The ticket was booked on 31st March 2021 for travel date 27/28th May 2021& return 17th Nov 2021.
                              Due to travel restrictions by US the itinerary was rescheduled by AirIndia to 7/8th June 2021.
                              Now recently Air India informed rescheduling of itinerary again to 7/11th June 2021, reason of cancellation given due operational reasons.
                              As the travel restrictions have not been lifted by US I cancelled the whole itinerary for both the passengers including return, today with the Air India customer care under the case id No 10027850.
                              As such you are requested to initiate the refund process of the said ticket booking reference HEP0E for 2 passengers travelling from Jammu to New York & return, keeping in view the recent
                              guidelines issued by Air India applying Cancellation fee waiver for passengers having their scheduled flight cancelled post 04 May 2021.
                              Please acknowledge the receipt by return mail.
                              As such you are requested to get the refund of the ticket resolved at an earliest & revert on email id given below

                                  I've booked tickets on 28th april 2021 via Airindia official websites traveling from New Delhi to San Francisco but unfortunately on 4th May 2021 order for US travel ban from india has been executed. So on 5th May i've called Airindia Customer care service and asked them what should i do as travel ban has imposed. The Officer Name Mr. Mr Pawan Nagar directed me that we should cancel the tickets and if we do so they will refund full 100% amount. So as we don't have any idea we believed him and asked him to do so. And now when we received the refund amount after 2 months delay we received partial refund and Airlines deducted Rs 50000. As a cancelation charge. As this is a Fraud case as the executive told us that we will receive full amount 100% refund will be credited. Thats only the reason we agreed for cancelation else we don't wanted to cancel the flight. Kindly investigate this matter and i need my full refund as Mr pawan gave us false information its his fault he misguided us thats why we took the step for cancelation. 

                                  Also As per to gov policy It was travel ban on the time we have canceled the ticket we should receive the full refund. The order has circulated by Government Ministry Only that from 4th May US travel ban has been imposed and passengers will get full refund so we are eligible for that. Also we did same what airindia executive told us. Mr pawan nagar.

                                    This is regarding reimbursement of cancelled flight ticket fares.The ticket numbers are[protected],

                                    [protected].The flight was on 16 May 21 from VGA-DEL, I called numerous time to Air India Customer care, , but i havent got my money back till date.my problem, i was told that my tickets have been refunded on 17Jul 21, , but i have not received any money back to my credit card till date as on 30 Aug 21...i even called to my HDFC credit card section but they told no such transaction has taken place between Air india and HDFC on 17 July, , , i can provide Credit card statemet if needed ...pls solve my issue as its more than 3 months...pls expedite reimbursement process...hoping ur positive response.

                                      I have booked a two way ticket from Chennai to Port Blair on April 3rd. My flight was cancelled by Air India without proper response. I have requested for a refund. They have not yet processed my refund even after 5 months. I have followed up with email and visited the chennai Air India office multiple times. They still have not refunded yet and they are not giving proper response. They are treating customers very badly. I cannot afford to lose my money anymore. I want them to pay my money back.
