Bad 😕 It seems that Air India has not focused enough on responding to their consumers’ feedback. Because of this, many concerns and issues remain unaddressed, making customers feel ignored and dissatisfied with their experiences.
I want to reschedule my ticket due to some family issue. I am calling from 5 hours but customer care representatives are picking my call and assuring to help and disconnecting the call in middle. 4 customer representative have done like this and still I am waiting to pick someone and resolve my issue. I never saw such a pathetic service.

Booked air india flight from Chicago to chennai to travel on may 21 2021 . Due to covid we cancelled the flight on may 12 2021 . After that will multiple calls with customer care, they said refund was processed on july 26th. But it is yet to be credited to our card that we used . Following up with them but no details about the transaction is given, but only a response of refund is initiated.
Cancellation without intimation and no convenience of rebooking

My flight from Toronto to Kolkata was cancelled which Air India did not bother to notify me. I happened to call them with another question then they told me about the cancellation. When I asked them to book me for the earliest date available they kept referring me to their ticketing department which went unanswered. The customer service person even hung up on me when I tried to call again. I have emailed them asking for a refund, but pretty sure it will be unanswered too. How to hold such an organization accountable who has absolute disregard towards customer service?

I was unable to fly to my destination on 14/11/19 as per my ETicket.
This was due to missed connecting flight AI403 at 12:55 on 14/11/19-
due to not having time for baggage checks out and check in as well as
passing through the securities after reaching to Delhi airport from
Heathrow London on 14/11/19 in flight number AI112 just after its
arrival time of 11:20 am.
I should have been given 2 boarding pass from the Heathrow airport, and baggage should have been checked in to reach my final destination from the Heathrow airport rather than me checking in and out. The arrival of the baggage was too late for me to then check into the connecting flight and get onto the flight from Delhi Airport.

Hi,
I had a booking with air india, from Newark to Mumbai on 8th Aug 2021. They had cancelled the flight but haven’t notified about the cancellation. When I had used my itinerary number on AirIndia website, I was unable to retrieve the data. So called their customer care, and from there came to know about cancellation. That person had cancelled my ticket and asked me to wait until 21 days to get the full refund as flight was cancelled from Air India end. But haven’t received any reply yet from Air India on the multiple emails.
Any help would be really appreciated here?

Regret to inform you that I supposed to fly from Chandigarh dated 08aug 2021 to attend the meeting at ranchi but my flight was cancelled and rescheduled for next 24hrs, without any intimation to me.
Your customer care seems always busy no phone calls got connected I tried many times.
However I have raised my refund request and till now nothing has been done and no one contacted me on this matter.

I received the trailing email for reschedule, but the rescheduled date doesn’t work for me. I called the Helpline and they managed to cancel my booking and advised me to email for full REFUND.
Air India has not refunded my tickets which were cancelled due to Covid 19. I have been waiting and writing for the past 1 1/2 years. No one has responded to phone calls or emails.

I got my refund within three months (Rs.7000). Do not loose hope. You need to continuously pursue the case with them. Customer care guys of most of the companies are less effective now a days. Most of the time they do not pick up and even if they pick up they have standard answers which is not what you are looking for. Complaints through Social media portals, emails and letter send to them through registered posts are the ways. Please keep record of all the transactions. Use standard legal format when you write to them. I understand the pain that each genuine customer goes through when the company does not respond correctly. All the Best and hope your issue is resolved soon!

My complaint no. 10626444 for a refund against cancelled flight tickets is still not resolved. It's more than 2 month since I lodged the complaint while I was informed that the refund will reflect on my credit card/ account within 21 days.
Background: I had booked flight from Bikaner to Delhi along with a connecting flight from Delhi to Mumbai for 2nd June 2021 through Air India website. When I reached Bikaner (Nal) airport, I was informed that due to bad weather and low visibility, flight AI 9834 will be delayed or cancelled and I won't be able to catch the next Air India flight AI 0805 also. There was no other option available on the same day for rescheduling. Therefore, Air India staff suggested that I can opt for cancellations of both connecting flights and will get FULL REFUNFD.
