This is Karthik Chunduri complaining regarding the refund for the air india ticket with eticket #[protected]. I cancelled the ticket on 10May2021 due Covid19 situation in India during that time. We made the cancellation of the ticket through air india customer service call as we couldn’t cancel the ticket online due to changes that were being made to one of my return flights. I contacted air india customer service 4 to 5 times and nothing happened till now. They first told that it would take 45 days to refund and then when i called second time, they told they will send an email regarding the refund. When i called them third time, they told me to send a feedback form with my issue and they mentioned that my case is considered as high priority which will be resolved in a week. Nothing has happened till now. I want the issue to be resolved and process my refund soon.

      This is regarding PNR - Z25LQ. Flight boarding from Delhi to Mumbai, flight no- AI-868. Money got deducted from bank, but I haven't received any confirmation mail yet. Please do the needful, and refund my money back asap!

        Booking Reference Number - YZQMK
        Name of Passangers - 1: Aishwarya Kathal, 2: Anshul Kathal, 3: Mamta Kathal, 4: Sushil Kathal

        I booked the ticket from Bhopal to Jaipur for 17/12/2021 8:05am with travel time of 5h10m on 2:41 PM Sydney(Australia) time on 27/10/2021. I did not recieved the confirmation of ticket over my email address on the date of booking, so I waited till next day for mail, when I havn't received the mail, I went to air india website and retrived the ticket from manager booking section. The ticket generated is for a wrong date and wrong time, it genertaed for 18/12/2021 21:50pm with travel time of 15h30m and reaching Jaipur on 19/12/2021. I never booked this ticket. When I tried to cancel the ticket within 24 hours to get full payment back it was charging cancellation fees of INR 21, 720 and just refunding back INR 4, 260 (See the image below). I read the cancellation policy and it saysno cancellation fee within 24 hours and then INR3000 +5%GST will be deducted, so even on cancellation around INR 12500 should be the cancellation fees for 4 passengers (I have no idea where INR 21, 720 is being calculated as cancellation amount).

        I have called customer service center under 24 hours to cancel the flight and have been on hold for past 18 hours (nobody is helping me here and the call has dropped 6 times). I am not liable to pay a single penny for cancellation of the ticket or date change as on the first place I have not booked this ticket with the date and time mentioned on the ticket. Either change the date to 17Dec 8:05 AM from Bhopal to Jaipur (reaching jaipur on same day with travel time 5h10m) without any change within next 1 week or kindly cancel the flight with full refund.

          This has reference to the International Ticket booking with full payment made on 11th March 2021, for Mumbai to Toronto in AirIndia through Travels division of Flipcart.
          Unfortunately, the flights were canceled indefinitely due to Covid19. Now when countries are allowed for outbound and inbound flights, we had rescheduled the dates for the sector Mumbai to Toronto by AirIndia via Flipkart, Mumbai- Delhi on 5th of November 2021 at 8.00 AM and Delhi - Toronto on 6th of November 2021 at 3.00 AM. Though the PNR status says the tickets are confirmed, E-ticketing is not being done irrespective of continuous and strenuous follow-up with the Flier AirIndia and the (intermediary) travels division of Flipcart. This kind of harassment should be stopped and the tickets should be issued ASAP as per the itinerary.
          Please do the needful at the earliest, the student has to send a copy of the ticket to the college and to the landlord for the procedures to be completed for his ongoing studies and for the accommodation provided respectively.

            Payment complete but did not receive the tickets

            I am Mohammed Yahiya Pasha Gulam. Booked ticket on October 28 from Air India website from Hyderabad to Riyadh for November 29 with passenger name as s Mohammed Yahiya Pasha Gulam and Asif Khan.

            I booked tickets for two persons (one is me) from Hyderabad to Riyadh on November 29. I paid INR 45, 926 for two person tickets. The payment is complete and I received the message also but not any tickets or itinerary or PNR number....

            Sir,
            I booked some tickets to travel on 04.07.2020 and on 09.07.2020 through the Air India App in the month of February, 2020 i.e. before the pandemic. That due to the pandemic lockdown was imposed from the month of March, 2020 till May, 2020. That the lockdown was partially lifted by the government with many restrictions to travel through air mode. Due to aforesaid fact, the undersigned was not able to travel on the actual due date. Therefore, I am requesting you to kindly refund the amount(fully) paid by the undersigned for the booking of those tickets. The details are as are annexed herewith.

              my tickets and refund has not yet done. It’s very frustrating that every time whenever, I’ve requested for refunding, no proper action is shown from your end and what you have done is just passed on the time with some excuses.

              Do you think people have no work to do than to follow up you ??? That too for getting their own money??
              Please note that all these days what you’ve done is just delay of the process and it’s totally disappointing.

              Air India has always been my first priority while booking tickets but with this incident I’m very transparent that proceeding further on, I don’t want to take any services from Air india because of your poor processing and no response/update.

              I’m not ready to take any more excuses.
              Take Action on refunding at the earliest.

                This is regarding Ticket #:[protected], PNR #: YQN88, ClearTrip Booking ID:[protected]

                I had booked a flight with Air India round trip from New Delhi to Patna dated: 05-June[protected]June-2020 through ClearTrip. This booking had been canceled due to COVID situation in 2020.
                Now the issue I am facing is for refund or re-booking for this ticket. I tried to connect with ClearTrip and Air India many times in more than 1 year through emails and calls.

                In case of Cleartrip they are saying as it is round trip ticket with same PNR so I will have to book round trip for same destination with all passengers and I will have to pay the remaining difference in fare but this ticket I was cheap and difference is large and due to my experience for this ticket I don’t want to spend more money to airline and I just want to consume my money for this ticket. So I want only a one way ticket from Patna to New Delhi for all three passenger but they denied. When I asked for refund they are saying they are not sure about the refund amount. The ticket was around 11000 and if I deduct the cancellation charges than it can be refunded like 100 or 200 rupees I guess. It look like a joke to me. I spent many of 1 hour calls to resolve this issue on ClearTrip support but not resolved in more than a year.

                Now come to Air India, what an amazing service they have. I never experience this kind of support service from any of the company in any sectors. I have wasted many hours to connect with their support team. It takes around half an hour to connect with front support and whenever I explain my issue than they say that they are forwarding my call to booking team and than after half an hour I got message like number does exit and call ends. It happened to me many times in last one year.

                I just want my money back or to be consumed. So either refund my money or consume it with one way ticket. If you booked the round trip with same PNR, than it is not my problem and you have never asked to customer whether you are booking with same PNR or not.

                    Dear Sir / Madam,

                    I am writing to you to raise an issue against AIRINDIA

                    My name is Jhony Laltenpuia, PNR Y8Z88, E ticket no. 098-[protected], date of journey 19/10/2021.From Imphal to Delhi (not boarded)

                    For the first time I have had a bad experience with the services of of Air India and will not forget the problems I faced thereafter.I was not allowed boarding on 19/10/2021 for my flight from Imphal to Delhi and it is really painful that the staffs at the luggage counter were unwilling to help. I was very disappointed when I asked AI staff regarding boarding another available aircraft. His response was not satisfactory and lack gesture for my concern and the same was with his colleague. Too many time I requested them that this trip is Urgent I have to report for my duty in time and why should I be denied boarding when THERE WAS TIME?? People before me and behind me were given preferences only because they have their online boarding passes. Did the staffs ever realize that I needed help the most because I was unable to bring the same?? What do you think?would I do this knowingly?? But I would say AI staffs had done something very wrong knowingly on that day. Knowingly because we have enough time left for the aircraft to takeoff and to generate a normal boarding pass with the help of my PNR or E ticket was not a impossible task.
                    That isn't over. I boarded AirAsia at Rs 12234. This is the only available aircraft for Delhi which was delayed and have to wait for about five hours at the airport. When it landed Delhi I missed my train for Bhopal and have to boarded indigo at RS 3584 for the next day. I do not have sleep I had waited for the boarding counter there which opened at 1 am and could not booked a hotel. After boarding luggage i went to security check in and there the man told me to go to gate no 49. I waited there but no one came and then I came to know that gate no. is change. I went all the way running hurriedly with my luggage on my shoulder to gate no 34 which is a very long way. I was about to missed if I hadn't run.

                    Am I responsible for all this???

                    Who cares if I lose? Will AI will repay my expenses (RS 22943)?? There is always no solution?

                    Last but not the least, one man handling one AI boarding counter is not sufficient as in my case though I came in time at the airport, the staff was unable to solve my problem so considering this, all my expenses should be returned with an apology letter from air India or like free services for equivalent amount is suggested.
                    Repayment for physical and mental harrasement should be considered.
                    I know exactly the time to take off was 1420 hours and there was indeed enough time for boarding. BUT I AM LATE. IT IS NOT BEARABLE!
                    I talked with other entities and they said we would allow, we would allow it's a normal case.
                    Gone are the days when AI repeatedly make announcement and waited for it's passengers even for a one. He/she would come in a last moment, and the staffs will not do any proper check ins and boarded the passenger into the aircraft. But on that day there was MORE THAN SUFFICIENT TIME AND I WAS NOT ALLOWED EVEN AFTER MAKING TOO MANY REQUESTS. Even after telling him that IT WAS REALLY URGENT.
                    Air India has done well by laying down restrictions but have broken my plans of journey taking away all my hard earned money which was my savings. And that is not enough I had been physically and mentally harassed.
                    Time and money is co related. AI taught me very well.
                    It's not the fault of a travel agent. The fault is is from AI. If the staffs have had allowed me to board at imphal I do not have to board AirAsia from imphal-delhi and would not missed my train at Delhi for Bhopal. And I really won't need Indigo in a hurry to reach my destination. THIS IS ALL BECAUSE OF AIR INDIA.

                    Do AI ever realize how urgent was my trip. It's not a normal man trip, because he can wait. But I am a fozi to report back for duty.And do you think that I have enough time now to make queries to get my refund? or like??
                    Was that task very difficult or impossible to generate a simple boarding pass when there is still enough time???
                    To board a luggage at the counter who do you think need a help most ? the one who have boarding pass prepared? or the one who doesn't have due to genuine unwanted reasons ? And most oftently it is not easy as well to do web check-in through online portal or from an app of a travel agent.
                    Can anyone justify help?? justify who should be helped??? Justify the problems I recently faced???
                    These things need proper investigation. I suggest to investigate the CCTV footage. From there we will know the truth, the time of my entry at the airport and why it took so long that I was left behind to be called ineligible to board the aircraft. AI lacks management. At least two boarding counter at Imphal would sort out these rush. There's no doubt, I was in time and people behind me boarded their luggages and why this I'll treatment with me??? if suppose i am not and that is not the truth, more than 45 minutes to take off the plane isn't sufficient to prepare a boarding pass on repeated request???? If I were, I would do more than 45 boarding passes in 45 minutes. There was a possibility to let me in but I was knowingly left behind and this is my painful regret because after that nothing goes well till I reach my destination.

                        I had a trip from Jodhpur to Mumbai scheduled on 01 June 2021 via Air India Flight AI646. The flight got cancelled that day and we I couldn't get an alternative booking too. Since then, I have been writing to [protected]@airindia.in, [protected]@airindia.in, calling customer support of airindia for processing the refund, but I have constantly been getting different answers like it is under process, someone told that the process is yet to initiate etc. I have even filled up the feedback form twice, as an executive asked me lateron to do so and yet another asked me to fill it up once more. For more than 4 months, I am continuously being assured of getting response within one week but neither I get response, nor I am getting my refund. The details of the booking are as under:

                        I request people from airindia to kindly take a note that every individual has got some job, like them. They are not sitting idly to keep calling everyday and doing the same procedure gain and again. Since the flight cancellation was not on our part, its airindia's duty to refund the hard earned money. The way our complaints are taken ruthlessly by a prestigious airline, is something very disappointing and mentally torturing too.

                        I would request the airline staff to please consider the grievance redressal to be addressed as soon as possible.

                          We had booked 4 tickets from sydney to delhi and back by AI 301 and AI302. PNR Y6HW3 AND Y6HW4. Flights cancelled due to Covid19. We did not receive any refund despite many requests. Now we got a mail from @Airindian that our tickets have been refunded on 10-8-21. Where the refund has gone? No transaction details of refund are being provided.

                              I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Flights

                              The issue that I have experienced was: Namaste
                              My name is seema khan
                              I fly on 13th october 2021 with air india AI 941 my flight was connecting BOM- JAI- DXB
                              I am newly married after my wedding this is my first time i was flying with my husband dubai for honeymoon
                              When my husband ask me to which airline we suppose to book
                              I excitedly said book air india because air india air craft has entertainment TV and very good food service litreally after flying with AI 941 i got very angry on my self that y i choose air india
                              Main issue was entertainment tv not working most of the seats tv was not working i press button thrice to cal cabin crew but she didnt response then i went to cabin crew and told her that y tv is not working she couldnt help me on this they said its technical issue and when i ask her why u didnt come when i press button she said when m serving its not allow to go to passenger and solve problem
                              I feel so embress front of my husband when cabin crew who working on my side means who allocated in my aisle i dont know her name but she was sooo sooo rude
                              She should not do like this to passenger is it a service from air india????
                              I had 3 complaint regard that flight
                              1) entertainment tv was not working

                              2) food was not good they suppose to give some helathy food in lunche time but they give oy breakfast and juice also in tetra pack

                              3) cabin crew behaviour was very very rude with me and she dont know how to talk with passengers
                              Even she dont know what kind of juice they had in air craft

                              It occurred on: 13/10/2021

                              Please improve ur services
                              Check ur entertainment option its working or not before u fly
                              Because i choose air india because of good service and tV facility

                              I used to fly from bom to dubai and the service of bom to dubai flight was always awsome please make all flight services same
                              We expect same services all the time

                              And not only me there is so many passengers seating over there because there tv was not working
                              It was so bad experience with air india this time
                              I dont know name of that cabin crew but i can recognise her by face i really want that air india take it iniciative because of bad service of cabin crew and behaviour u may lost ur good passenger

                                My wife and son were scheduled to fly to USA for an important examination for my son. The flight was to leave on June
                                Twenty-four before departure we tried online checkin. The website was not working. The flight wasn't showing. We called air india and were informed the flight had been cancelled n we were rebooked for next week!
                                Not one email,
                                Not one phone call,
                                Not even apologetic!
                                We asked for a refund and they were not giving straight answer to my wife. When I spoke with them, they tried to make it sound like we were ignorant and should know. Sadly we haven't be refunded to date.
                                Is there any recourse for the common people to get our money back?
                                A very bad company which has no concern for its customers and a perfect reflection of government workers without concern for its citizens.

                                  I book a ticket on 14th july 2021. Date of journey was 06th August. But it was connecting flight.
                                  Rajkot to Mumbai and Mumbai to Varansi.

                                  But I received a mail before 2 days that my Rajkot to Mumbai flight time schedule got changed and it disturbed the connection so i requested to cancel it. It got canceled. But Since that time I am waiting for my refund.

                                  I registered a feedback request also but nothing happened till today. Whenever I call they put me on hold till 30 to 45 minutes.

                                    Wasting our precious time and telling that after 15 mins by airindia check in staff

                                    Our flight number is Al839 from Delhi to Hyderabad on 18/10/2021 at departure time 9.25 pm with pnr number HGWT9 with E-ticket number[protected] we reached airport at 8.20pm and iam travelling with two senior citizens one was my father aged about 69 and my uncle aged about 65 we needed a wheelchair facility at the gate no 4 of Indira Gandhi international airport he said to me to move to check in counter he is bringiny father and uncle first...

                                    I Cancelled An Air India Ticket Within 24 Hours Of Booking And As Per Their Official Guidelines, I Am Eligible For Full Refund. Its Been More Than A Month And I Have Not Received Money In My Account. They Keep Telling Me That Refund Is Processed And Ask Me To Contact The Bank, But They Don’t Give Any Transaction Number To Contact With Bank.
                                    Also, Looking At Multiple People Complaining Here, It Seems Like Even With The Transaction Number, People Are Not Able To Track Their Money And Some Of Them Are Waiting For Their Money From As Long As 1 Year.
                                    Air India Please Refund Back The Money, As Its Not A Small Amount And Some O[censored]s Have To Book New Tickets And Need Money For That Too.

                                    The same with us. We had booked 4 tickets from sydney to delhi and back by AI 301 and AI302. PNR Y6HW3 AND Y6HW4. Flights cancelled due to Covid19. We did not receive any refund despite many requests. Now we got a mail from @Airindian that our tickets have been refunded on 10-8-21. We have not received a single penny. Where the refund has gone? No transaction details of refund are being provided.
