It's a matter of regret that no appropriate action has been taken in my matter almost after 2 months have passed. No refund has been initiated as my return flight from Dehradun to Varanasi was cancelled from Air India end and the ticket was booked through budget ticket.com. No refund has been initiated as of now.
My Airline PNR of onward journey was YX2ZN and return journey was YX300.

    Yesterday I received refund of Rs. 914 towards my mother's air-ticket. Details given below:

    Price: S$ 255.90 (Singapore Dollar)

    Please allow me to explain this further.

    I booked return air-ticket (ticket 2) for myself to travel to chennai to attend my brother's death anniversary which was on 11-Apr-2020.
    On my return, I want to bring my mother with me to singapore. As she can't travel alone, my assistance was needed.

    On 09-Mar-2020, I received email from AIR INDIA, stating that "DUE TO OPERATIONAL REASONS" flight on 10-Apr-2020 was cancelled and rescheduled to 11-Apr-2020. Attached email copy for your reference.

    Due to the cancellation of flight by AIR INDIA, my entire travel schedule was disrupted and I did not attend my brother's death anniversary and could not bring my mother to singapore. This forced me to cancel my air-ticket and my mother's air-ticket.

    I understand that Indian government announced lockdown from last week of March 2020 and singapore government announced lockdown from 1st week of April 2020. All flights were cancelled and both governments ordered to refund entire amount to travelers.

    Honestly, I don't find any of my fault and whereas I am suffering a loss of Rs. 6418 (Rs. 7332 - Rs. 914). Once again, I would like to highlight that I was forced to cancel all my air-tickets due to "CANCELLATION OF FLIGHT BY AIR INDIA", "LOCKDOWN ANNOUNCED BY INDIAN GOVERNMENT AND SINGAPORE GOVERNMENT".

    I waited patiently for past 14 months. The stress and financial loss which I suffered are can't be explained by words.

    I request AIR INDIA to refund balance amount Rs. 6418 immediately and feedback me with valid reason within 3 working days.

        I had called the customer care to reschedule my flight from 29th April 2021 to 22nd April 2021, on 20th April. The customer service agent asked me to pay a penalty fee of 8756 INR for which the transaction was successful, but the reschedule did not happen. He kept me on hold for an hour with no response and not even a confirmation about reschedulement.

        Later I had to visit the Air India office in Bangalore to reschedule the flight on my own and had to pay a penalty fee of 8756 INR again. Also they informed to write an email to customer support for refund.

        I have contacted the customer support multiple times but I never got a refund. I wrote multiple emails but no response. I have called the customer care, everytime they say that they have escalated the issue and ask me to write an email. How many times do I even have wite emails?

        I have attached the screenshot of mail with paymemt link sent by customer support, which asked me to pay penalty fee. Also the bank transaction details.

        Kindly check this and initaite my refund at the earliest.

            We had booked a flight for Mumbai to Delhi on 28th April 2021 AI809, but we tested positive in RTPCR, hence unable to fly. We do not have any symptoms, neither we have stepped out in last few months, hence was unaware, and booked our tickets.

            We request the airline to issue refund to us.

              My son had an international ticket booked (Ticket Number:[protected] via AIR INDIA online and made a payment through his debit card. AIR INDIA canceled the flight and said that the refund of the amount was processed on Jan 16, 2021 to my transaction account. However, the amount has not been credited to the transaction account. The bank has clearly mentioned that that there was no refund received. Air India refuses to give me a Transaction ID and multiple mails to Air India has not helped me get the refund even after 3-months!!

                I have booked a ticket from HYD to DXB on[protected]. Booking was made by making call to customer care and they sent me payment link to the provided email and I have made the payment of 9087inr through my debit card. Then they gave me PNR Y4GGX and received mail but not the ticket. Same was informed to customer care team and asked for the ticket then they said I it will done by ticketing team within 3-4hours. Based on their words I have waited till next day morning, no reply from them. Then I have called customer care and provided PNR details. They said my PNR is cancelled due to non availability of seats. It was not my fault. Since, no booking was made I have requested for the refund of my money which I have paid for. Now, the confusion starts. 1) As per telephonic conversation they said they have initiated refund process. But no reference I'd provided for this
                2)Asked me to mail ecommerce team. Done the same. Received automated reply as you will be contacted within 24hours. It was almost 4days no one contacted me.
                3) I am sending reminders to them continuously, but no response.

                Refund amount not received. Got call from refund team on 03rd of May and said that they are processing the refund amount. Till Now no update from them, even requested for call back many times but not even one time found any response from them

                  though airindia has acknowledged and intimate that refund will be processed witin 5 to 6 weeks however it is now more than 10 weeks, no refund has been received yet nor any reply to my mail sent reminder on 28th mar to ecommerce

                    Sir my name is Shorya Kumar Sen.My flight was on 28 March 2021 from Chennai to Port Blair with PNR np. YY61 and E ticket no.[protected]. The flight was cancelled due to operational reasons. but no amount has been refunded to me yet. please consider this.

                      Last year Jan tickets were cancelled due to Covid in May. This year Jan AI says they have refunded. But I didn't get it. Agent says AI directly sends to Customer. But AI says it's sent to agent.Ticket[protected]

                        My son in law booked from USA my return ticket for commuting between Ahmedabad and SFO under booking reference YOTT2. I was to start my first leg of journey on 22nd April 2021. On 11th I was found Corona+. On 19th, I decided to cancel my trip. First i tried toll free number through my cell no. [protected]. I was told to contact Ahmedabad office and contact number[protected] was given. I tried that number 8+ times but there was no response on that number. I found another contact number[protected]. I tried that number without success. In parallel I dropped email on amd.[protected]@airindia.in through my emailid “[protected]@gmail.com” attaching certificate of my indisposition and requested cancellation and refund. . As i was unable reaching the authorities, I got my ticket cancelled. My son-in-law was levied cancellation charge of @ 200 dollars. I, on behalf of my son-in-law and with his authority dispute this deduction. As ticket cancellation was caused on medical ground, my son-in-law should get full refund.:

                          I have a booked a ticket on air India website on July 8th 2020 for travel on July 10th 2020 from Chicago to Chennai due to a death in my family. I could not travel on this date due to having fever. I have contacted air India for issuing a refund via email and phone for the past 8 months without a resolution. I’ve called them yesterday again to see if I can use the amount for a future flight and they told that I can and someone from ticketing will call to reschedule my flight. I did not receive a phone call and when I called back I was told that a refund has been issued to me on the 28th of December 2020. I checked my card statements and my bank statements and there is no refund I received form air India till date. My PNR number was ZDSVC and the ticket number was[protected]. Please help.                             This is with regards to a failed transaction while booking an air ticket with air india. The details of the transaction are below:

                            Funds transaction number: [protected]
                            Transaction amount: Rs.1, 33, 209
                            Date of transaction: March 1st 2021

                            This transaction has failed. I contacted Air India regarding this issue. They got back to me indicating that the amount never got credited to Air India account. I have contacted my bank who said transaction was successful and I need to check with air India. After that I have attempted to reach air India multiple times with no response.

                              I had cancelled two tickets for a flight on 10 December 2020 booked on 24 November 2020.The cancellation was done within 24 hours i.e. on 25 November 2020.I was told to expect the full refund within 41 days of cancellation..
                              Next I contacted Air India twitter account asking for refund on 16January 2021 whose reply I got on 21January 2021 expressing apologies for the delay.On 25 January 2021 I received a direct email from [protected]@airindia.in stating they would refund my money within 2 to3 weeks. Despite having given this statement no refund was received in my bank account with the passage of time.

                              I again tweeted them on 22 Feb 2021 where I got the response immediately that the money was refunded by Air India on 28 January 2021.

                              After checking the bank statement it was seen that no money was refunded on 28 Jan followed by entire week till today. When my brother went to the Air India office on 18th March 2021 with the bank statement and all other required details I received 2 emails which is attached here showing the amount of the ticket individually. These mails don't contain the reference no. required to check the credited amount in the bank. He was asked to enquire about the same on [protected]@airindia.in .But haven't received any response from this mail also.
                              The passenger names of the cancelled tickets were Ravindra & Malathi Khanapurkar with ticket numbers[protected] &[protected] respectively.

                              Hence I request you to please provide the reference no. of the transaction done by AirIndia where in its claimed the amount was credited in my bank account by Air India.

                              With this I am attaching the Screenshots of Twitter chat which include the Ticket Numbers, Air India Tickets & Air India e mail I Received on 25 Jan2021, my bank statement for that particular date when it was claimed by Air India that the required amount was credited in my bank account ..

                                My Name is Albert. I booked a flight from Frankfurt to Kochi on 23rd of June last year. Unfortunately the flight got cancelled and i applied for a refund. After following up the refund a lot, i got the information that my refund is processed and amount is refunded on 30th december 2020. But until now the money has not reached my account.                                   I took a flight ticket from agent Budget Air of Air INdia on 19th Jan . The flight AI417 was cancelled from Delhi . The team on the airport issued me a full refund. Ir's been 3 months, no one is helping me ou. I have sent emails and called air India customer care . They ask me to connect to agent . I also had connected to agent they said that air India has not issued the refund yet and the status is open from their end .

                                      I am writing you concerning a round trip from San Francisco – New Delhi – San Francisco with its E-Ticket Number[protected] via approved travel agent Budget Air. The ticket was booked for December, 18th 2020 and due to COVID situations I had cancelled the ticket on December, 1St 2020.The ticket was cancelled by me on Dec, 1st 2020, confirmation mail from budget air was received on Dec, 2nd 2020 regarding cancellation of the ticket stating that the ticket has been cancelled and the refund request has been processed. It has been 4 Months since then and i have not received the refund. I request you to kindly resolve the issue as soon as possible or please tell us the exact process to get the refund back.
