Arsheen Taj has booked a seat paying Rs 900 which 16J on 19th March 2021. while boarding the flight the seat was changed and staff was not able to provide the proper details even though I had the invoice and check in for 16J seat. I am suffering from ear pain due to last seat 33J was allocated to me in the last minute.

Kindly refund my money back and I had to suffer with ear pain .

    Itinerary Details

    Passenger Name - MD SHARIQUE
    Delhi (DEL) to Muscat (MCT)

    I booked the ticket for 22th February, Delhi to Muscat, but i wanted to reschedule of my travel ticket, then call to customer care for reschedule & server down of Air India during the process for a long time, then my PNR is canceled.
    After that, did'nt got any confirmation or notification about cancellation detail on my mail. & no any refund amount hit my account yet.

    I want to refund the amount in my account immediately. & send the confirmation on my mail id.

    I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

      My flights from Frankfurt to Delhi scheduled on 27th Mar and Delhi to Frankfurt on 13th April 2020 were cancelled by Air India due to the ongoing pandemic. It's been almost one year and I have not received the refund until now. I have written Air India multiple emails but haven't received a satisfactory response.

      Given the current situation, I do not have any near term plans to travel to India and hence would like my complete refund ASAP. Thanks!

        Dear Sir/ Madam,
        I was travelling with my family from Mumbai to Kolkata on 8th March via Air India flight AI 773 (PNR number JJWB4) from Mumbai to Kolkata in a medical emergency of my mother.
        While we approached the counter to drop our luggage (after having our boarding pass) we were stopped from boarding. Air India stuff told us that they won't allow us to board the flight without having covid negative certificates for all three passengers (me, my wife and my son).
        I informed them that Air India sent no notice or intimation to us informing the requirement of such certificate neither they offered any facility for testing while we were open for it.
        Instead of repeated requests they refuse us and 'delete' our booking. The behaviour of the senior male member was unprofessional. They also informed us that the money will be refunded to our agent i.e. inter miles.

        Till date no refund is made nor an intimation that they refused us to board. While checking with Intermiles they informed me that they need an written mail from Air India mentioning that we have not board the flight.

        It is a real pity that a National Airline can be so unprofessional:
        1. Why were there no prior intimation? text message, mail etc?
        2. Why is there no post intimation mentioning the reason why they refused us to fly?
        3. Why is the refund not made?
        4. Why is there no facility for emergency testing?

        I am yet to receive any refund nor any intimation. Due to this fiasco I could not attend to my ailing mother.
        I request your immediate attention so that at least I get a refund of my ticket.

            I am trying to get refund status from Air India. I had booked my flight online for 15th Feb and cancelled my flight by calling Air India customer care. I was told I will get the refund in 10 working days.
            I have been calling Air India customer care and they asked me to write an email to customer care ([protected]@airindia.in).

            After 2 weeks of follow up I was asked to write an email to [protected]@airindia.in
            I am still following up and there is no response from Air India

            Air India is just sending me the same update again and again from last one month which is ' my issue has been forwarded to concerned department'
            I really don't think any one is looking into it. What is there to investigate for a refund when they have all the relevant information and how much time does it take to investigate? Not sure who to reach out to for this now

            I had raised this issue 3 months ago and after several chasers I got an email from Air India that "A new action has been added to the feedback MD-IDEL[protected] by [protected]@airindia.in" on 7th Apr,

            The status of this request shows 'under process' since 7th Apr with no progress whatsoever. Unable to understand why it would take over 3 months to initiate refund process when everything is automated/digitized these days. If booking an airline ticket can be done in few clicks on a mobile app then why would it take 3 months to refund the money?
            Refund awaited against cancellation of 2 international tickets and is a significant amount to be held by the airlines with no accountability.

            Appreciate if this can be expedited and closed. Thank you

                I had booked 3 tickets for travel to Delhi Singapore Delhi through Akbar Travels on Air India Flight . E ticket numbers are as under

                Out ward jorney was to be on 5th September and inward on 30th September for first two and 13th September for third ticket. As the said flights were cancelled I had applied for refund of my booking amount to Akbar Travels. I have been informed by Akbar Travels that my claim has been forwarded to Air India for processing the refund but it has not been done although more than two months have elapsed.
                Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                Despite my complaint on this portal no response has been given by Air India. Refund is still awaited.
                Very unethical on the part of Air India,

                  I have booked the flight ticket through Air India website PNR HEQ12 Reference E Ticket no[protected] for March 2020 in February last year. Due to covid-19 lockdown flight got cancelled. I called customer care and also send multiple emails to [protected]@airindia.in and requested for full refund as i am eligible for full refund as per government guidelines. Every time, I got a response that it will be refunded back to my account with in 3-4 weeks. Its been more than 16 weeks now in a row since i requested for a refund. And still there is no update.

                      Booked 8 tickets for Mumbai Goa trip on 11 Jan 2020 for travel date of 09 May 2020. But due to lockdown, travel did not happened and as per govt orders, we are entitled to get full refund. Only way to get refund is to drop email to [protected]@airindia.in.
                      So Dropped email on 04 Feb 2021 for cancellation but there was no response for Air India even after follow-ups.

                      So tweeted regarding the issue on 17 Feb 2021 by tagging air india and got response from them. After regular follow-ups then messaged on twitter that on 1-Mar with below text

                      "Dear Sir/Ma'am, The amount of ticket[protected] has been refunded on 19 February 2021. Kindly liaise with your bank for further query."

                      However, money is not credited in my account and when I ask for bank transaction details, there is no response till date.

                        I booked 3 seats from Delhi to Surat flight no A1 423. I also paid for extra leg space seats but when I boarded the plane I was told there are no seats and you have to adjust on 2 seats. When I told them I cannot adjust on 2 seats as I have two kids. they told me rudely to get off the plane and next plane was there the next day

                            I emailed and they only made a case and never fixed it.
                            I called customer support, the man said he will pass the remarks which I did not understand. I asked for a confirmation email and he said he could not send it. I asked to speak to the manager but according to the man he is never available. On the booking policy it says that if a misspell has occurred we are able to ask for a fix, but support does not know there own policies.

                              I had confirmed ticket to fly from Mysore to Bangalore on 11th March 2021 by Airindia-alliance flight 9534. When the passengers reached airport of Mysore there was no officer at counter. We had not received any message regarding the cancellation of the flight. We were given this information much later. Had we got the message earlier we could have come later to catch the rescheduled flight arranged to take off at 1-35. In addition to this the staff of Airindia were arrogant and not friendly. I feel the staff should be changed forthwith as otherwise it will have bad impact. They came late and behaving rudely. Airindia authorities should initiate steps to take action and compensate for the lapses.

                                Please please help me, Air India has not refunded me for the flight that was cancelled by the Air india due to covid. I had contacted them many times, emailed them on ecommerce many times but every time no satisfactory answer. I had 1.5 lac money stuck with them. I really frustrated from them. Pls help

                                  Hi Sir/Madam, I purchased ticket from Air India on 01Dec2020 with Eticket#[protected] &[protected]. However, ticket cancelled due to travel restrictions amid Covid. On 05Jan21, I made refund request with the Airline. On 24Feb21, I got a message from Airline that the refund has been executed to the credit card used & they asked me to liaise with the bank . Morethan 100 times called on [protected], they don't answer the call. Morethan 50 emails sent, they don't reply. I sent Twitter, they replied that 'the funds has been refunded & asked me to liaise with the bank'. I contacted the bank, but the bank is asking for transaction reference for refund made'. I'm following up with them for refund transaction reference and sent many emails, twitter and made several calls but they don't reply. Until-to-date, I didn't received the refund in my account. The amount is 2, 600 saudi riyal equivalent to 50, 000 indian rupee. This is causing me mental stress. I'm frustrated. I want to lodge a complaint for this merchant.

                                  many times talk with customer services dead and and false promises every week since beginning they promising refund withing week

                                  when does week end for air india in month or a year ?

                                  i will appreciate your reply by return and refund as soon as possible as talkiing with customer services is total waste of time and they keep giving ground less excuses and want to get rid of customer for their anwer never had such experiece in many years of my travel with other airlines

                                    Dear Air India Team,

                                    I have raised my concern multiple times till now and there is no resolution for the same.
                                    Will repeat the concerns once again so that I can get my money back ASAP.

                                    Currently there are two issues as below:
                                    Travel date 1-Feb-2021 (PNR # - HQ4D7)
                                    Air India guys did not let me board my flight stating that i do not have COVID test negative report
                                    No Intimation was given that COVID test needs to be done before boarding the flight
                                    I had called the Air India customer care before my travel date to confirm if there is any such requirement and they told that either you can test in London or in Mumbai. It was an either or option not both.
                                    Also, the guy at the airport did not give me a chance to cancel or reschedule my ticket and marked me no show . I mean i am at the airport and being marked as no show, please tell me is that even possible.
                                    I want my money refunded on my account due to the negligence from your side. A small intimation or customer care guys providing correct information would have been really helpful and i could have boarded my flight on 1st Feb 2021.
                                    Travel Date 3-Feb-2021 (PNR # - Z0D2Z)
                                    I booked my flight money got deducted but the ticket never got generated for the above mentioned PNR number
                                    I called three times asking about my ticket and every time the customer care guys told me that your ticket is booked and you will have the same in some time
                                    The next day i called the customer care again and the guy told me that the ticket is cancelled and refund will the give in 7-14 days (please see the mail trail as i dropped for proof)
                                    It has been more that mentioned days and still money has not been refunded on my account
                                    I have called the customer care again when i reached back to India and the guys are telling now that reach out to E-Commerce team and TAT is 45 days from there end
                                    I mean what kind of pathetic service are you guys providing and not able to refund my money on time

                                    Points to be noted and escalated to right people
                                    Most pathetic customer care service i have ever seen in my life
                                    Customer care guys are telling this is Air India and these are the regulations
                                    No one is letting me speak to senior executive
                                    Saying that call back will be arranged in 4 hours but no confirmation is given and no call back is received
                                    No escalation process
                                    Customer care guys do not even know how to talk to the customer, its like they do not care at all
                                    E-Commerce team is not picking up the phone at all, it seems like they are like they too don't care at all
                                    No proper feedback of the mails that i have sent till date
                                    Refund process is really pathetic, i have no information by when i will get the refund
                                    As a customer, I am really dissatisfied with our country's national air-line. With this kind of service no one would want to travel with Air India, it is just like degrading your standards.
                                    It is totally understandable during this COVID times you guys are working very hard, but providing such kind of service is really not acceptable.

                                    I do not have any more things to say and I just expect my money to be refunded for both the tickets ASAP as it is a very big amount for me as a middle class person.
                                    Also, I am also attaching the recording of the conversation that i had with one of your guys so that you can take required action.

                                    Hope the issues are resolved ASAP and I get my refunds.

                                      Myself and my family (4ppl)was traveling from Kochi to Dubai on AirIndia flight AI933 on 7/03/21 and left behind my phone on the pouch of my seat 27B, my family was allocated seats from 27 A to 27D. I have enquired in dubai airport and in the Air India office. The air India officer had adviced to send the email to [protected]@airindia.in and its is giving a bounce response, showing undelivered. The same flight had board in Mumbai airport the next .When we wrote mail to mumbai team on this they says it is not found, but i am very sure that it will be in the pouch which was infront of my seat.The phone I lost is iphone 8plus with a black boarder cover and transparent back. The chance might be the cleaners not noticed my phone in the pouch while they cleaned the seat I was in.
                                      Could you please consider this email and help me in getting a right response. Appreciate your help and time.
