    Dear Sir,
    I booked international air tickets through AIR INDIA online and made a payment through my credit card on 24.03.2020 due to lockdown AIR INDIA canceled a flight so I applied for refund.
    As I talk with AIR INDIA customer care telephonically they advise me that I have to contact the bank for a refund and the bank team will be in contact with AIR INDIA chargeback team for refund. They give me a transaction ID against every ticket. Detail

      I emailed and they only made a case and never fixed it.
      I called customer support, the man said he will pass the remarks which I did not understand. I asked for a confirmation email and he said he could not send it. I asked to speak to the manager but according to the man he is never available. On the booking policy it says that if a misspell has occurred we are able to ask for a fix, but support does not know there own policies.

        I had confirmed ticket to fly from Mysore to Bangalore on 11th March 2021 by Airindia-alliance flight 9534. When the passengers reached airport of Mysore there was no officer at counter. We had not received any message regarding the cancellation of the flight. We were given this information much later. Had we got the message earlier we could have come later to catch the rescheduled flight arranged to take off at 1-35. In addition to this the staff of Airindia were arrogant and not friendly. I feel the staff should be changed forthwith as otherwise it will have bad impact. They came late and behaving rudely. Airindia authorities should initiate steps to take action and compensate for the lapses.

          Please please help me, Air India has not refunded me for the flight that was cancelled by the Air india due to covid. I had contacted them many times, emailed them on ecommerce many times but every time no satisfactory answer. I had 1.5 lac money stuck with them. I really frustrated from them. Pls help

            Hi Sir/Madam, I purchased ticket from Air India on 01Dec2020 with Eticket#[protected] &[protected]. However, ticket cancelled due to travel restrictions amid Covid. On 05Jan21, I made refund request with the Airline. On 24Feb21, I got a message from Airline that the refund has been executed to the credit card used & they asked me to liaise with the bank . Morethan 100 times called on [protected], they don't answer the call. Morethan 50 emails sent, they don't reply. I sent Twitter, they replied that 'the funds has been refunded & asked me to liaise with the bank'. I contacted the bank, but the bank is asking for transaction reference for refund made'. I'm following up with them for refund transaction reference and sent many emails, twitter and made several calls but they don't reply. Until-to-date, I didn't received the refund in my account. The amount is 2, 600 saudi riyal equivalent to 50, 000 indian rupee. This is causing me mental stress. I'm frustrated. I want to lodge a complaint for this merchant.

            many times talk with customer services dead and and false promises every week since beginning they promising refund withing week

            i will appreciate your reply by return and refund as soon as possible as talkiing with customer services is total waste of time and they keep giving ground less excuses and want to get rid of customer for their anwer never had such experiece in many years of my travel with other airlines
            please let me know when i will get my refund

              Dear Air India Team,

              I have raised my concern multiple times till now and there is no resolution for the same.
              Will repeat the concerns once again so that I can get my money back ASAP.

              Currently there are two issues as below:
              Travel date 1-Feb-2021 (PNR # - HQ4D7)
              Air India guys did not let me board my flight stating that i do not have COVID test negative report
              No Intimation was given that COVID test needs to be done before boarding the flight
              I had called the Air India customer care before my travel date to confirm if there is any such requirement and they told that either you can test in London or in Mumbai. It was an either or option not both.
              Also, the guy at the airport did not give me a chance to cancel or reschedule my ticket and marked me no show . I mean i am at the airport and being marked as no show, please tell me is that even possible.
              I want my money refunded on my account due to the negligence from your side. A small intimation or customer care guys providing correct information would have been really helpful and i could have boarded my flight on 1st Feb 2021.

              I booked my flight money got deducted but the ticket never got generated for the above mentioned PNR number
              I called three times asking about my ticket and every time the customer care guys told me that your ticket is booked and you will have the same in some time
              The next day i called the customer care again and the guy told me that the ticket is cancelled and refund will the give in 7-14 days (please see the mail trail as i dropped for proof)
              It has been more that mentioned days and still money has not been refunded on my account
              I have called the customer care again when i reached back to India and the guys are telling now that reach out to E-Commerce team and TAT is 45 days from there end
              I mean what kind of pathetic service are you guys providing and not able to refund my money on time

              Points to be noted and escalated to right people
              Most pathetic customer care service i have ever seen in my life
              Customer care guys are telling this is Air India and these are the regulations
              No one is letting me speak to senior executive
              Saying that call back will be arranged in 4 hours but no confirmation is given and no call back is received
              No escalation process
              Customer care guys do not even know how to talk to the customer, its like they do not care at all
              E-Commerce team is not picking up the phone at all, it seems like they are like they too don't care at all
              No proper feedback of the mails that i have sent till date
              Refund process is really pathetic, i have no information by when i will get the refund
              As a customer, I am really dissatisfied with our country's national air-line. With this kind of service no one would want to travel with Air India, it is just like degrading your standards.
              It is totally understandable during this COVID times you guys are working very hard, but providing such kind of service is really not acceptable.

              I do not have any more things to say and I just expect my money to be refunded for both the tickets ASAP as it is a very big amount for me as a middle class person.
              Also, I am also attaching the recording of the conversation that i had with one of your guys so that you can take required action.

              Hope the issues are resolved ASAP and I get my refunds.

                Myself and my family (4ppl)was traveling from Kochi to Dubai on AirIndia flight AI933 on 7/03/21 and left behind my phone on the pouch of my seat 27B, my family was allocated seats from 27 A to 27D. I have enquired in dubai airport and in the Air India office. The air India officer had adviced to send the email to [protected]@airindia.in and its is giving a bounce response, showing undelivered. The same flight had board in Mumbai airport the next .When we wrote mail to mumbai team on this they says it is not found, but i am very sure that it will be in the pouch which was infront of my seat.The phone I lost is iphone 8plus with a black boarder cover and transparent back. The chance might be the cleaners not noticed my phone in the pouch while they cleaned the seat I was in.
                Could you please consider this email and help me in getting a right response. Appreciate your help and time.

                            I had booked my air tickets for three people with MakeMyTrip for a trip from Toronto to Mumbai on August 03, 2020 via Delhi on Air India. This flight was cancelled by the airline due to COVID-19. MakeMyTrip has raised the refund request with the airline. I was told that it will take 90-120 working days to get the refund. It is now 7 months. After multiple follow ups with the travel agency and airline I am still awaiting the refund and getting the same response that they are awaiting refund from the airline.

                              Subject: Extreme difficulty caused to business class senior citizen passengers on Vancouver, Canada – Chennai flight, due to inconsiderate behavior of Air India employees and contractors

                              Respected Officers,

                              My name is Mrs. Rani Kannan. I am a 62 year old retd. Central Government Employee (retired from Central Warehousing Corporation) after 37 years of service. My husband, Mr. Mahesh Babu Salavakkam is a 68 year old retired Deputy Registrar from the High Court of Madras.


                              We recently travelled from Vancouver, British Columbia to Chennai, India via Delhi on the 5th

                              March 2021 on Air India. Our flight number was AI 186 and departed Vancouver at 10 AM on March 5 2021. Given our age and our health condition (I suffer from chronic knee pain and cannot walk for long, and my husband has had a stunt operation, ) we had pre-booked for wheel chair assistance, while booking our tickets.


                              However, despite our age, our health condition, our pre-request for wheel chair assistance, and our business class fares and tickets, we were treated very badly and with apathy, by the staff, and were made to suffer throughout our journey. In the Vancouver International airport, when we asked for assistance, as requested earlier while booking the ticket, we were refused, and later asked to wait, when we protested. No one helped us with our luggage. My husband had to handle the luggage himself while weighing and scanning, which caused severe chest pain for him. We were also not given wheelchair assistance, even after waiting for 30 minutes, and repeated requests. Later, worried that we would miss our flight, we walked ourselves, and found someone who could help us, mid-way. We would have missed our flight to India otherwise.

                              Subsequently, after landing in Delhi (our transit), we were told that we will get our wheel chair assistance at the plane exit. There were several helpers standing outside with wheel chair, waiting for passengers. But they all said that they were waiting for San Francisco and Chicago flights, and refused to help us! We felt like they didn’t want to help passengers who were landing from mere Canada, when they would be getting passengers from the mighty US, who may tip more. We felt slighted and hurt.

                              Since we had just 1.5 hours until our flight to Chennai, we literally dragged ourselves to the next flight. I got severe knee pain after awhile and could not walk any longer. We were quite sure we would not be able to catch our flight. Then, another helper with a wheel chair saw us, and offered to help, for Rs 5, 000, against which we paid Rs.1, 000.He took my husband in wheel chair and was walked along with them. We made it to our flight, AI 1126, from Delhi to Chennai in the last minute, with his help. It is pertinent to mention here that the boarding pass was issued only upto Delhi at Vancouver and we were asked to collect the boarding pass at Delhi airport for for onward journey to Chennai. This arrangement increased our tension further.

                              It would be an understatement to say that we suffered in this journey. We have travelled several times between North America-India, and have had wheel chair assistance every time, due to our age and health condition. But we have never faced such humiliation, and suffering. We had an extremely unpleasant and horrible experience, at the time of COVID.

                              This is the plight of 2 senior citizens, ex-Government employees, who were flying business class. I wanted to bring this to your kind attention, and record my complaint formally.

                                I am writting this email because i am totally disappointed with Airline services. I cancelled my ticket from chennai to sydney on 9th Apr 2020 during covid lockdown. I have raised for ticket refund during that time. Till now i didnt receive my refund. Almost a year passed away i have given enough time but still i didnt get proper response. Lot of customer care complaints, direct airline complaints but no use.
                                They are saying my money is refunded on 10th Oct 2020. But still i didnt get my refund. I have sent my bank transaction history as a proof. No use. They are cheating me and wasting my time and money. I am writting to you as a last hope. That was my hard earned money. Please help me. I will attach my transaction details for your reference.

                                  This was the worst flight experience I have ever had with Air India.

                                  1. To start of the seats were dirty
                                  2. Toilet was stinking and was worse when the seats are next to toilet 28 A, B and C.
                                  3. No drinks only Pepsi and some wine.
                                  4. No special food or milk for children.
                                  5. No snacks.
                                  6. Food was served, jam and butter were given but no breads. Only fruits in the morning.
                                  7. No headphones.

                                  This was the worst flight I ever had in my flying experience.

                                  Please improve your services else you are going to lose many customers.

                                    I had booked an air India flight for self and family for travel to Port Blair from Kolkata on 02 Mar 21 Booking reference no Y45ET. At airport We were denied boarding citing Port Blair administration’s prevailing requirement that all passengers travelling in to Port Blair must have RTPCR negative certificate. However, it is important, surprising and distressing to note that during the entire ticket booking process through Air India app there is absolutely no mention, even once, that passengers travelling to Port Blair must carry RTPCR negative certificate. Air India made no effort whatsoever to inform in anyway possible that we must get tested 48h prior boarding. As a result we were denied boarding on 02 Mar 21 at the airport and sent back from counter with complete deductions of my booking fare Rs 30808/-. Monetary loss was further aggravated because of mental agony arising from requirements of boarding lodging travel in an unknown city. Air India staff says that passengers must keep themselves updated on prevailing Covid-19 requirements during travel, but the practice of not informing passengers during tickets booking is unethical. I have been told by air India staff that I’ll be refunded only tax amount on each ticket. This is an improper business policy and must be curtailed. I want to request for complete refund of my booking amount.

                                      This is to bring to your attention that I am waiting for the refund of my cancelled ticket (cancelled from my end on 10/09/2020) since 174 days as of today. For the last 6 months, I have been calling air india's customer care team multiple times (almost twice a month), but all of those were of no avail. With this, I must admit that this is worst customer service team I have encountered.
                                      I would like to highlight some of the recent experiences I faced with air india's so called customer service. Swapnil from customer team gave a false commitment that the refund will be processed in 1-3 days. He raised a case ID 08155365 for this. Pooja from air india's team constantly tried to deviate from my actual issue and asked me to reach out to Travel Partner ; where I already conveyed that I was calling AirIndia as instructed by travel partner team.air india's service is worst and air india's employees doesn't care about customer's problem.

                                      I also took the liberty of reaching Air India through Twitter and I did not get any help from air india twitter team as well.
                                      When I reached out to my travel partner, they told they have already raised Refund Application (RA) NO:- [protected] for my case.
                                      I need my refund at the earliest as this is a non lockdown case and it is 174 days since I requested for refund.

                                        Dear Team,

                                        I am followed up from 9 months but i did't get my refund from air india,

                                        I have booked 1 flight from air india site directly and 1 from cleartrip.

                                        1. Z4Q16 : dated 21-may-2020 from Doha to Delhi (from Cleartrip)
                                        2. JH41Y : dated 27-jun-2020 from Delhi to Doha (from Air India)

                                        I already raised case with Air India (Case id :[protected] but till date no status about refund.
                                        Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
