I had booked air india tickits containing booking reference no zdvhz, hwh69, jqnmg, yvoo4. All are doestics travels between 10th may to 17 the may, 2020. Due to covid-19 all the flights are cancelled. From last 1 month i am trying to get refund of such booking, but still i have not got it.
Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    Due to the covid - 19 pandemic and different rules for quarantine at every city, i had to reschedule my flight from kolkata to guwahati. I called the air india customer care with request for rescheduling my booking, to which the customer care promised to connect me further at three different occasions but failed to do so after waiting on the like for nearly an hour.

    I decided to cancel my booking rather than rebook it, i again contacted the customer care of air india who informed that you can only cancel booking by writing an email. My flight is due to take off on 29th jun and i have written to air india three times with a request to cancel the booking since 20th jun, however, there has been zero response from their email account.

    Please help

        I have flight booking under pnr jv7r (Travel date 20 may to 30th may), its cancelled due to covid-19 india.

        Supreme court already passed the order to return the money and same is posted on airindia website

        On chat associate is denied to refund the amount as order is passed for covid-19 before 03rd may, so i have question to airindia.

        Please share the details how this covid-19 is different then the one which is there before 03rd may. If its same then supre court order is applicable to dates until lockdown.

        Please took the necessary action to refund full amount, you can not enforce how to use our money. I don't want reschedule my ticket in future with airindia, you can not force to do that.

          Why Frankfurt flight for 27th has been cancelled? We are students and have no money to rebook connecting flights to India again. We trusted
          @airindiain and spent whatever we had to book connecting flights to FRA.. Please !!! For your carelessness we may become homeless.. This company AirIndia has such a hopeless customer service and barely replies ...This is sheer ignorance by ministry of external affairs and Air India about students suffering abroad.. No compensation recieved. Such an irresponsible organization .

            Calls are being disconnected or not received

            Recently on 10 june 2020 i booked irctc air ticket for air india airlines through irctc app but due to lockdown or curfew condition i had forced to cancelled it on 11 june 2020 and that ticket was refundable by charging 250 by irctc but not yet refund by irctc please refund my money

              The ticket has been cancelled by agent (Paytm) on 28th may, and after that the flight has got cancelled. I tried to reach air india through mail, call, twitter.
              On twitter, they have provided a dl, which sends out automatic replies and via call, it gets automatically disconnected. I tried to reach air india customer care service for nearly a week, but could not get through. I have sent different mails to different dl's following up for nearly a month, but there has not been action taken from air india side.

              As per the latest information, that i have, agent paytm has raised two ra's for refund as there are two tickets (Ra number: [protected] and [protected]) and air india has not authorized the ra's, so as a result of that paytm is not able to process the refund. This thing has been going in around since a month and air india is completely deaf to it. Please take action against this. I have attached all valid proof's of conversation that i had through mails.

                  1. I lt col durgesh kumar singh a serving officer of indian army booked my following tickets online for me and my wife mrs meera singh and availed onward journey from kannur to delhi on 01 mar 2020 and from delhi to lucknow on 02 mar 2020.

                  2. Due to outbreak of corona epidemic and lockdown by government of india, the scheduled return journey could not be performed as per itinerary as there were no operation of domestic flights,

                  3. Details of return journey tickets are as under:-

                  From lucknow to delhi booking reference j3879 on 28 mar 2020 by ai 991

                  4. Now as per latest advisory issued by government of india, ministry of aviation dated 16 april 2020 you are requested to refund the amount of tickets at the earliest. I am unable to contact your call center / customer care to do the needful. Please refund the booking amount of my nonperformed journeys at the earliest.                     I had booked 4 tickets for del-goa-delhi (21mar -25 mar). Tickets no[protected], 52, 53, 54. Due to corona we drop the plan and canceled the tickets but they are not ready to refund our money till date even after changing their policy again and again. I am requesting that whatever your policy give my amount but they are not responding our calls after waiting long time in queue and emails as well. I am really hopeless in the time of pandemic as need money very much. Kindly help.

                      Booking wrongly made for december'19 instead of november'19. I called customer service for modification, due to their server issue. Customer service person cancelled booking with my permission and asked me to rebook. He committed for full refund due to their server issue and cannot modify existing booking but i haven't received full refund. I tried to reach customer service about this since december 2019. But no proper response. Sent plenty of email, no response. Seems like very awful service from air india.

                        Respected sir/ma'am,

                        I, borrisson mihsill kynjing, a student of 'national law institute university, bhopal', roll no. 2016 ba llb 129, am a frequent traveler via air transportation, from guwahati, assam to bhopal, madhya pradesh via delhi.
                        For 4 years, my travelling to and from guwahati to and fro bhopal via delhi has been problem free.
                        Due to the corona virus pandemic, my university closed for the time being and i was sent home which i went and like always traveled via air transportation.

                        My flight from bhopal to delhi on 02/june/2020, was scheduled to depart from bhopal at 12:15 and arrived at delhi airport at 13:30, making it very comfortable to catch my next connecting flight from delhi to guwahati at 17:25. Due to unforetold circumstances, the flight was delayed and we arrived at delhi airport (Indira gandhi airport) at 16:00 and this caused me to miss my connecting flight.

                        Due to this, i complained and was provided a 'delay certificate' which availed me no relief and my parents with much hardship were forced to procure a new ticket for a flight the next day at a price of rs 13, 000.

                        Flight details

                        1) flight from bhopal to delhi : (Pnr no) : jlx9w, air india flight ai-482 but we traveled in ai-481.
                        2) flight from delhi to guwahati : (Pnr) : blp24n, indigo flight 6e-694 which i couldn't catch due to delay.

                        New booked flight booked for the next day at huge financial expenses.
                        1) flight from delhi to guwahati : (Pnr) : xhi88h, spice jet flight sg8152

                        All the evidence supporting my complaint is attached below along with bank details in case u believe i am entitled a refund.

                        Respected sir please do what can be done and what relief which i am due be provided to which i believe i am rightfully entitled to a refund for the flight i couldn't catch due to the delay which i had no hand in.

                            Hi, actually i don't know how and whom we can request now to get our refund as we booked one air ticket to air india from usa to india for my nephew and right after a day they have announced the lockdown and all international flights got cancelled. Now my nephews college is closed and he is alone there and wanted to come back to his family but, he tried to ask them to adjust the ticket amount to another which he wants to book for his self and the ticket amount is around 52k then they said to ask for refund and make the fresh tickets, i mean seriously who has such money throw as we are asking to get the refund since last month they are not even responding back, don't know what to do now, i am sending this conversation for your reference as it's second time in 2 months we have made request to air india to refund our money.

                            The refund has not been done yet. Kindy revert on when this amount will be refunded. Kindly do the needful immediately as he will travelling back to india soon.

                                Our flight for april 17 from delhi to rome was cancelled by air india (Not by us) on march 8th - before the lockdown. We have tried to contact ai via call centre many times (They just hang up) and by email with no progress towards a refund made. I know things are busy but 3 months with no resolution in sight?!?? Ludicrous. Our bookings are [protected] and [protected].

                                  My flight was 7:45 at gate no. 29b all customer are waiting but their is no one on gate. This is not a airindian service i was trying lot of time on this flight but this time i didn't what is happening. If flight is delay no problem at you can send the person on gate and update the customer. But no is on gate.

                                    I booked air tickets through air india for onward journey from toronto to delhi and delhi to chennai on 12th april and 13th april respectively. And return journey from chennai to delhi and delhi to toronto on 7th sep. And 8th september 2020 respectively.
                                    Due to covid-19 pandemic, govt. Of india imposed the first phase of the lockdown in the country in view of the coronavirus outbreak from march 25 to april 14.
                                    On april 16, the ministry of civil aviation stated that travellers can ask airlines for full refunds if the bookings were done during the first phase of the lockdown (March 25 to april 14). Though my travel date was during the lockdown period since i booked my ticket on feb 12th, 2020 air india charged a huge amount ₹ 57, 225 ($1050 cad) as cancellation fee. When requested for confirmation email stating the cancellation fee details for me to claim my travel insurance air india refused to send any confirmation email. Due to no proof of cancellation my travel agency rejected my claim. After sending so many emails, online chats and calling air india helpdesk waiting for hrs on queue all efforts to get a confirmation email went on vain. It's totally unfair to deduct a huge amount as cancellation fee which was not my call and due to domestic and international commercial passenger flight operations been suspended during the lockdown.
