    I have booked these tickets before covid 19 lockdown in february.

    As we were going there to attend a marriage ceremony.

    But we cannot attend the marriage due to lockdown.

    Pls send the refund of the flight tickets as the amount is very big 12, 000.

      Dear sir/ madam,

      As we know, we are passing through a difficult period due to outbreak of covid 19 in our country. Since, lockdown announced by government of india (Goi) from 23rd march, 2020, air travel has been stopped and the flights are cancelled from then onward

      This is to inform you that, i have booked air india flight tickets in february, 2020 to travel from hyderabad to durgapur, west bengal (Pnr no: zc7tl on 18th april 2020) and return ticket along with co passenger (My mother) from durgapur to hyderabad (Pnr no: jg6hz on 24th april, 2020). Unfortunately the flights were cancelled due to lock down rules imposed by ministry of home affairs.

      On 17th april, 2020 i mailed to air india team to refund the full amount of flights tickets (As per press release from air india, we will be eligible for full refund - document attached), but there was no fruitful reply from them. The chain mails continued for more than a month and i am fade up with assistance provided by ecommerce team of air india ltd for initiating the refund process of my flight tickets. We are in lockdown 4 where flights become operational and relaxations are given for working in offices, still my case was not process by them.

      My last mail to them was on 23rd may, 2020 where i sincerely begged for refund of the full amount of flight tickets. I can understand the situation of air india but how long i have to wait for refund, it is my hard earned money which i used to purchase for the air travel. They tested all my patience but nothing happened

      Currently, my last option to kindly request to take up the complaint for full refund of my air tickets booked for the cancelled air india flights.

          Hi there,
          Air india customer support is forcing me to travel in this worst situation. I don't want to travel anymore. Your representative told me that if you cancel the ticket you will he charged 3105 rupee why should i pay cancellation it was not my fault that flights got cancelled. I want my full refund or reschedule it accordingly to my convenience.

            I booked the air india flight tickets from delhi - narita (Tokyo) last year from paytm for the travel period 27th march - 5th april, but due to lockdown in india, all flights were cancelled during this period. Now, i am following up with air india/paytm for the refund but none is them is responding properly.

            I talked to air india agent on 23rd march regarding the refund and he promised me that i will get the full refund with next 15-20 days and they sent the remark to paytm regarding that. But now air india is denying for full refund. They are saying me to reschedule which is not possible as i am not sure of any future trip to japan.

              Due to lockdown i had to reschedule my flight so i tried a lot to contact airindia but to no avail then i was left with no choice but to cancel my ticket.

              But after more than one and half month of cancelling the ticket i still not received any refund till date.
              Even no satisfactory reply is received and due to non receipt of money i am unable to book tickets.
              There were 2 bookings as below:

                Air india is not refunding my money to my bank account from where i have done the payments. I have contacted several times, but after one and a half months also, they are yet to refund my money. I am a girl with limited income. Kindly help me to get my refund.

                    I tried to book a flight ticket from air india website on 17th february, 2020. The ticket was cancelled due to a glitch in the airindia.in website. The ticket was a round trip from malpensa (Mxp) to kochi (Cok) departure date 12th march 2020 and return 23rd march 2020. I haven't received any details of the ticket from air india. So when i called the customer service it was informed that the ticket was cancelled and the cancelled pnr is: ysfvm. 485.22 euros was debited from the credit card. Our bank has confirmed many times that the transaction was executed properly on 17/02/2020 to airindia.in merchant and has been successfully registered with the merchant account on 19/02/2020. So the money is with air india and refund has not been given even after 3 months now.

                    I cancelled my flight from ranchi to pune that was on 27th of June. PNR- J3TK3D.The cost was Rs 7018, haven't yet got any update regarding the refund. THis is the 15th time i'm complaining for the same.

                    i requested for refund of my return journey ticket from JFK to HYD for 2 passengers
                    But unfortunately i received an amount of Rs.6120 as refund for my unused return journey ticket.
                    The total amount i paid Rs.1, 38, 600 for entire journey.
                    the return journey worth is Rs.69, 000.For this amount i got only Rs.6120.
                    How can air india justify on this?

                      I tried to book an international flight ticket on air india website on 17th february 2020. Payment was done and no ticket or ticket details was generated. When i called the customer care center they given a pnr number against that transaction. My bank has confirmed that the transaction has been executed properly and the money has been registered with the merchant on 19th february 2020. I have been trying to raise this complaint through air india ecommerce, but unfortunately they told it was an error while transacting through their website and their account was not credited, and the debited money will be refunded in 6-7 days by the bank. But it has been 3 months now, i haven't received any refund.

                            We booked 6 tickets through agents with air india from delhi to bangkok for my brother wedding. Due to covid india was lock down from 25th march while our ticket was 26th march. Air india did not operate too so no one can travel. Ministry of civil aviation india have announce that all airlines should refund from period 25th march 2020 to 3rd may 2020, even air india announce on their web page.

                            When i contact our agent they said air india refuse to refund because our ticket was not issue in india it was issue in thailand. Does it make sense? Ticket issue is anywhere but traveling from same airlines no? And how will we travel if it's lock down?

                            Than i called air india in india and they told me no can't refund because our booking date which we booked is 14th december 2019, book date should also be same as travel date. What is this new story?
                            They will refund those who booked during crisis? We booked few months before crisis even don't know something like this will happen but they will not refund.
                            Very strange and brainless decision air india is making, hope you can help me as 95, 000 rs is not less for medium class family.

                              I have booked two tickets booked on feb-2020 for travel bom-ccu (Travel date[protected] and return date[protected]. The flight are cancelled due to covid-19 lockdown. As per lockdown i have mail to air india for full refund request. But the amount would be held by air india and forced for traveling for future date this situation. Anyway my future trip plan is cancelled for situation covid-19. I need full refund and air india is taking advantage of this current situation and harassing the customers by holding the amount with them.
                              That time all citizen suffering for money. So look the matter and help all about suffering customer.

                                  I have two tickets booked for round trip from ccu-del (23 april-11 may). The flight numbers are ai - 23 and ai-22. The flights are cancelled due to lockdown. I’m asking for a refund and not getting it. I’m told the amount would be held by air india as a coupon for future use and to be used by 30 sep, 2020. But my trip plan is anyway cancelled and don’t need to travel in the near future. Why am i not getting refund? The lockdown is not a issue created by me or i’m not cancelling ticket, it’s anyway cancelled for the situation! I need my refund and air india is taking advantage of this current situation and harassing the customers by holding the amount with them. If the flights are cancelled due to current country situation, it’s not the customer’s fault. Then why are customers suffering like this. I need my refund by the original payment method asap!!

                                    I booked flight for my family from new delhi-raipur and want to cancel now as because of covid-19 none of the domestic flights are working. So i called ixigo and airline to cancel the flights, and asked for the refund.
                                    In return i got a reply from
                                    Ixigo - they dont know anything, consult airline.
                                    Airline - that they will not refund the amount.

                                    please cancel the flight and refund fully as there is no domestic flights going on 24april.

I need full refund of my both flights. it is a delay from your side, not from my side. I wont suffer because of your delay.                                         I booked air india flight on 25 mar 2020 for delhi to patna for 16 apr 2020 with pnr no. Is ywdnn. But due to covid-19 flt was cancelled when i call to customer care on 16 apr 2020 for reshudle my flt he tell me in 10-12 hrs call back from reshudle department but no call coming from that side i again call to 17 apr 2020 he tell me in two hrs call back to you but no call back from that side again i call on 18 apr 2020 then he tell me i reshudle your flight for 09 may 2020 but some reshudle charge may be paid but when i tell him for send me payment link he tell me i sent but he didn't sent mail. Again i call to another representative she tell me i don't sent u link
                                        I don't understand what r doing air india. I understand that this is totally frauding for payment increased. Please resolve my problem
