On february 18 and feb.22, 2020, i sent a request to customer care for cancellation of my 3 air tickets in view of some unavoidable personal inconvenience. Those tickets i purchased myself from air india page but while trying to cancel those from "my booking" link, i did not find any link to cancel. Finding no option, i then sent my request to ecommerce (See below the copy including flight details) for cancellation and refund, but as yet i have not heard anything from them. I would appreciate an early action in this regard.

    Sir,
    1. I had ticket with ticket no.[protected] and pnr no z14pf, from del to sxr on 12 jan 20.

    2. Due to a bad weather condition, ticket had cancelled by concerned agency.. On 13 jan 20 a fresh electronic ticket was issued by airindia which copy is attached below, was also cancelled by same agency for same reason.

    3. Refund amount has not generated till now approx 3400 rs.

    4. Please do needful action against my refund...

      I dr vinita tiwari traveling from flight no a1019
      On 20 february 2020 have my father traveling with me who needed wheelchair.
      When i went to the wheelchair counter i was asked 3 times to go here and there by different staff members and all the wheelchair staff members were sitting and no help at all
      At last i had to tell to get the staff ready.
      I don't think anyone who is capable of walking by their own would ever use a wheelchair
      Why can't you teach your staff to be helpful when its needed

        Air india not giving refunds after 30 working days
        I had booked 2 flight tickets for my family in air india, date of travel are given below
        1. Delhi – kullu on 12th january 2020 – eticket no[protected] to[protected]
        2. Kullu – delhi on 15th january 2020 – eticket no[protected] to[protected]
        Flight from delhi to kullu was cancelled by air india due to bad weather and both tickets above were cancelled by air india office at t3, new delhi airport. I have made numerous calls to air india ecommerce and send mails attaching tickets and cancellation details, but till now air india has not refunded my ticket price. I am attaching both tickets and screen shots from air india office at t3, new delhi airport where cancellation was done.
        Please expedite the process

          I have booked tickets from delhi to kochi, but the tickets are not confirmed and money deducted from my bank account. I was only having that much money on my account and now they told me that tickets got cancelled. If i wait for getting refund it will take more than 21 days, so by that the amount will be very huge. It's making a really uncomfortable at this moment, a normal family like me can't afford this much of amount at a sudden time, so expecting some positive response from the respective company

            I took a trip to india from jan. 27, 2020 to feb 13, 2020, using air india. It was a horrifying experience flying with air india. First of all one of my baggage that i checked in going there was damaged. After 29 hours of flying i couldn't find a counter at indira gandhi airport to file the damage bag report. I was told that i could file the bag damage report when returning back. So i tried to file it at air india ticket counter on feb. 12, 2020. I was sick and didn't read what the representative has checked on my baggage tag. He checked that air india was not liable to pay for the bag and made me sign. Although i tried to explain very clearly what happened he still made me sign that piece of paper. As i mentioned i was quite sick on the return flight. The service provided on the flight was not too great either.in fact on the last plane i asked 3 flight attendants separately that i needed an extra blanket as i was extremely sick, i was only given a run around that they are looking for one extra blanket. On a 767 large plane they couldn't find an extra blanket, i was shivering the whole way. I think if someone was dying they wouldn't help them either and probably let them dye. Overall service bothways was a terrifying experience. I won't be taking air india flights anymore and probably won't recommend anyone else. It has made me more sick since i came back on feb. 13, 2020. I am seeking for compensation, refund of my ticket in cash.

            Though I booked ticket from portblair to dekhi and there have an rechecking in madras due to aur india delayed i missed my delhi flight from indigo though its not my mistake why should I paid extra fair bugs to indigo.

              I was flying from Ahmedabad to Bombay I on 5/1/2010 The flight was supposed to take off at 7:10pm but it did not arrive till 9 and took off around 10:00 pm and landed at Bombay at 11:30pm but by other flight was11:30pm to melbourne so I truly missed that flight and no body helped me there. I was so helpless and at the and I had to buy another ticket to melbourne such cost me $2195 which is not small amount I already spent all my savings to come to india after four years and I did not had any only to to pay another fair so I had to borrow from friends so I am in debt now which is not acceptable. I am attaching the photo of the certificate saying that due to flight delay I missed my flight so would like the air india to compensate me or I will take this further

                I have booked international flight ticket from ahmedabad to vancouver for date 14.12.2019.

                Before going to abroad, i have confirmed with air india customer care regarding baggage information and replied that for student visa holder one extra baggage of 23 kg is allowed.

                But when i reached at ahmedabad airport for departure, i was charged rs 17980 by air india for 23 kg baggage.

                So what is the meaning of your confirmation from air india. We have presented mails proof along with student visa. But air india denied extra baggage of 23 kg and allowed only 2 bags of 23 kg luggage.

                I have paid rs 17980 for extra, i. E. For 3rd bag of 23 kg.

                So please do the needful.

                If such information was provided after confirmation with air india, thenafter also if customer was charged then who will pay this amount?

                Please escalate this case to appellate team and help me at your level best.

                  Hi, i was travelling from fft to blr via mumbai via air india flight. During the travel i was checked out my check in bags at mumbai (International to domestic) and checked in again at mumbai airport. But i have not received by bag at blr. I have raised a complaint at blr airport but they are keep saying "tracing" or "mumbai airport is not responding" from past 7 months. I went to blr airport by personally many times but still i have not received any compensation nor proper update.

                    I got a message from air indai limited and they provided a link in that massage.in that link a two page pdf file is there.. And i called to this number in that pdf which they mentioned as hr number [protected].
                    I didnt paid any amount because i know that was a fraudulent part maintaining by a gang..
                    I am here just complaining about to end them here only because innocent people are getting loss from that fraud gang
                    Arrest them and do like no one is never choose to do this type fraudulent things.

                      Following return journey was booked through flipkart travel on 12 dec 2019:

                      Sector:
                      New delhi to guwahati: air india ai-889: tue, 17 dec 2019
                      Guwahati to new delhi: air india ai-890: sat, 21 dec 2019
                      Passenger name: mr. Alok saxena
                      Pnr: j3be5
                      E-ticket no.:[protected]

                      The following facts are submitted:

                      On 13 dec 2019, the air india customer care no. [protected] was contacted multiple times to ensure the full refund due to disturbance in the northeastern states and after getting assurance for the waiver for a full refund by different executives, the booking was canceled through one of the customer care executives. However, no intimation for cancellation was made by air india through email/ sms. The call recordings of the conversation made between my no. [protected] and [protected] on 13 dec 2019 must be checked for verification. It is also to mention that none of the executives mentioned the period of waiver as 11-15 dec 19 as claimed by air india now.

                      Flipkart travel cc no. [protected] was also contacted on the same day for a refund but their cc executive told to wait for a refund until they get confirmation of cancellation from air india.

                      Afterward, several communications were made to both air india and flipkart regarding refund however; no progress could make. Moreover, air india office at safdarjung airport, new delhi was also visited personally on 23 dec 2019 who also denied offering any help from their side for a refund and advised to contact flipkart travel only. On my pleading, they provided me the contact no. [protected] of riya travels from their data who made the booking for flipkart travels. However, later it was found that either the no. Was not responding or answered as wrong no.

                      Flipkart travel is insisting to take an endorsement copy or an email from air india which must state that the booking is eligible for a full refund along with stamp so that they can take up with airline accordingly.

                      On the other hand, air india is not ready to assist regarding refund stating that their ecommerce section is equipped to provide web support for bookings made on their website www.airindia.in only and for the refund of tickets, the travel portal from which the tickets were purchased should be contacted.

                      Since a considerable period has been spent and the issue is still unresolved, i request you through this portal to seriously look into the matter and do the needful to refund me as per the waiver assured by the air india customer care.

                      In fact, this issue has really caused mental harassment to me by all the concerned and i feel that i would have no other option left but to involve all the concerned into legal procedures at consumer forum if this issue is not resolved promptly.

                        This is to inform you that my money is debited from my account and tickets are not generated for 24th February 2020 - 11.50 am flight AI 738 Bangalore to Bhubaneswar which I was booking today.

                        I contacted the Air India helpline, asked me to wait as they said, payment is reflecting but wait untill the tickets are generated and also to mail but untill now no one has replied to my mail or provided any solution to it.

                        When I got back to the airline website it said payment error.

                        I've made the payment through UPI Google pay.

                            Hello sir/madam,

                            My husband and i recently travelled on air india flights and experienced several issues / headaches, for which i am seeking financial compensation.

                            1. Flight no 102, jan 10 2020 jfk to delhi: on this 14 hours flights, tv screens were not working on our row. Despite asking the hostesses several times, and repeated reboots, the issue was not resolved on the entire 15 hours flight, and we had to seat through the long flight with no entertainment.

                            2. Flight no ai 820, jan 20 2020 vadodara to delhi: the check-in agent incorrectly scanned my passport when checking in my husband, that triggered further scrutiny, re-scan of all of our luggage, and calls to delhi to sort things out at vadodara airport. This whole ordeal took nearly an hour, and we were not kept abreast of what was going on and what was to be expected.

                            3. Flight no ai 820, jan 20 2020 vadodara to delhi: this flight was delayed 2.5 hours. At delhi due to additional security screenings and longer walking distances to the gate, we barely made to the gate 15 min before scheduled departure of our next flight from delhi. This caused unnecessary stress, as we thought we were going to be denied boarding due to not making it on time to the departing gate in delhi.

                            4. Flight ai 127, jan 21 2020 delhi to chicago: again tv screens were not working on this 16 hr long trip. This is especially a problem on longer flights like this. I wonder problems like this ever get reported to maintenance when the plane is on ground to be looked at. It is unacceptable to not have working screens - especially when many other folks around you are enjoying tv, but all you can do is stare at blank screen.

                              regarding money refund as downgraded from business to economy class

                              I booked Air India flight from Delhi to Bhopal for 11th January 2020 at 5:55 AM,
                              Business Class and I paid 16, 139 INR.
                              When I reached airport on 11th Jan, I was told that due to some technical issues the flight was changed, and the flight which is leaving at 5:55 AM does not have any business class.

                              They issued me a seat in the economy class and said that the money will be refunded after deducting the economy...

                              Air India Refund not yet received after 37 days .
                              They have past their 21 days policy and the customer care staff are not of much help .
                              They keep lying that I will get the refund after two days and then I never got my refund.
                              I've called them 10 times.

                              I've only got excuses from the staff.
                              One staff told me to go ahead and file a complaint if i wanted. It was very rude of her.

                              I cancelled my flight on 24th December, 2019 for a flight due on 28th December, 2019. According to the policy, cancellation of flight before 24 hours of departure is refundable in 21 days maximum and i booked a flight which was refundable. Its been 37 days which is more than a month.

                                My flying returns number is[protected]. I've uploaded my kyc document (Passport) 3 times, giving a better resolution scan copy the 3rd time. But every time, they reject my kyc stating that the passport number on my first page of passport doesn't match with that on the last page, which is weird because passport number is only printed on the first page.
                                Same scan copies have been accepted in banks which is supposed to have the most security feature.

                                  This is complaint against the air india srinagar staff, me and my
                                  Wife were travelling from srinagar to surat on pnr number z3495 and
                                  Yj4eb ticket numbers with[protected] and[protected]
                                  Respectively. Our flight was scheduled on 15th jan 2020 but flight
                                  Got cancelled due to heavy snow on 15th jan 2020. It was important for
                                  Us to reach surat at any cost as our marriage was scheduled, so we
                                  Approached srinagar on 16th again they told us that they will provide
                                  Us seat if there is any “no show” and they did provide the boarding
                                  Pass for the two seats with in flight number ai 828 on 16th jan 2020.
                                  But after providing boarding pass when we were boarding the flight
                                  They offloaded us saying that the seats are fully occupied. If seats
                                  Were fully occupied then how they had provided us the boarding passes
                                  Earlier. We tried to talk to the air india srinagar supervisor mr
                                  Tariq, he was continuously saying the same thing that there is no
                                  Space in the flight. This is the pathetic behaviour i had ever seen by
                                  Any airline staff.
                                  Moreover, somehow we managed to reach delhi airport on 19th jan 2020
                                  By our own conveyance via road and i told the airline staff to atleast
                                  Reschedule my ticket from delhi to surat she replied that there is no
                                  Remarks in front of your tickets so i can not reschedule your ticket.
                                  I told her the complete story but she denied and she asked me to book
                                  Another ticket from delhi to surat so as per her saying i booked
                                  Another ticket from reservation counter with tkt number[protected]
                                  And[protected]. Now when i want to cancel my ticket she said she
                                  Can not till there is no remarks. I want to ask this from air india if
                                  Srinagar staff hasn’t put any remarks after offloading us from flight, what’s my mistake in it.

                                  I want complete compensation on this. Cancel my earlier tickets from

                                    I would like to highlight the recent harrowing experience of air india staff at goa airport on 7thjanuary, 2020.

                                    I was on vacation to goa from dubai and had a return flight on 7thjanuary, 2020. At the check-in counter air india staff ms. Manisha ripped off my passport into two parts - the book was detached from the cover. On checking with manisha how the passport got damaged she mentioned that when she opened the passport it ripped. That can’t be possible because the passport is not a rs. 5 noteboook which will rip when opened and just a few minutes before, the security at the airport gate opened the same passport to check details, how come it didn’t rip at that time. When we told mr. Pradhan (Air india duty supervisor) to check the cctv cameras he just changed the topic to cover for his staff & refused to do so.

                                    After checking with mr. Pradhan and airport immigration authorities, it was confirmed that i could not travel with the damaged passport. I was advised to apply for a new passport. As a result of this my family which includes my wife and two minor children (3 & 10 years) also did not travel.

                                    I was told by air india reservations team that i would have to pay the penalty and no show fees and also fare difference if any for my family. How can i let my wife travel alone with 2 minor children and luggage?

                                    My question is why should i bear all these charges when it is air india's staff fault.

                                    - is it right that i should allow my wife to travel with 2 minor children and luggage especially when our tickets have been booked together as a family?

                                    Detailed below are all of my other loses because of the incompetency of air india staff.

                                    - i had to pay for the taxi back home from airport to vaddem.

                                    - i had to apply for a new passport where i paid rs. 3000 which is an added expense for no fault of mine.

                                    - since they don’t accept tatkal applications for damaged passport i have to wait approx. 20 days for issuance of new passport which is precious time lost since i can’t resume my duty.

                                    - the additional new tickets, penalty and no-show fees have to be paid by me which is very unfair.

                                    - i & my wife had to resume work on 8thjanuary, 2020 and because of this incident both o[censored]s had to extend our leave which is unpaid till the time we resume our duties.

                                    - also my daughter has missed her school days resulting in absenteeism and loss of school work.

                                    On receipt of my passport on thursday 16th january, i went back to reservations department at the airport as advised before to book my tickets. However when i approached the air india reservations in-charge, she mentioned that i was not entitled to free ticket since i had made a formal complaint (I was previously told that i would not be charged for new ticket nor pay penalty charges) and as a result i had to pay rs. 45, 000 for tickets and penalty fees for me and my family.

                                    In conclusion, i would like to request a full investigation in this matter by checking cctv cameras from 4:30 – 7:30 pm on 7thjanuary, 2020 and compensation of rs. 5 lacs by air india authorities for all the mental, physical and emotional trauma they caused me and my family and request for termination of air india staff manisha so that this kind of incident won’t be repeated in future.

                                    The air india authorities refused to help us and we were left hanging with no solution.

                                    I had already sent a registered letter to air india head office in delhi, but till today i haven't heard anything from anyone. Requesting for swift action from concerned authorities since this incident has left me and my family mentally traumatized.

                                      I have booked ticket from visakhapatnam to hyderabad on 23 december 2019 through www.airindia.in website. However an amount of rs.17, 192 got deducted for failed transaction also i. E. Against card number : 5546xxxxxxxx8313 and transaction details

                                      Air india ltd (Inr) www.airindia.IN | 85215229357950688455221. And my credit card statement for the month of january 2020 is showing the amount of rs.17, 192 deducted for failed transaction also as due. So please resolve the issued and credit rs.17, 192 to my account.
