This is with reference to the return ticket refund which has been cancelled by air india on 28th dec 2019. I have been communicating with air india on the toll free number and it has been several times in last two months discussing the same matter of refund and also provided my mobile number. And still nothing has been done. The delay is meaningless and is subject to compensation with explanation. I have been told continously that the refund will be processed in 20 working days and there is no need to worry about it. But now i am worried about my refund and due to lack of credibility on behalf of air india.
The tickets dated 15th jan 2020 (Sfo to delhi) & 16th jan 2020 (Del to bdq) has been cancelled with full refund promised. So, please process the refund of ticket number[protected]. Locator/ control no : yjssr in my bank account. And frankly speaking air india doesnt seem to have the intention to refund the money with 50 % penalty due to the changes made by air india by cancelling the ticket. Because my return ticket will cost more being a single ticket and plus have to book it in sort time. And in todays crisis it is going to be very very expensive and uncertain to book a return ticket from any airlines (Bad experience with air india).

I've booked ticket-Air India from bengaluru to Delhi.Wish to either cancel ticket or change the destination, which can be done by contacting the customer care.Trying past 4 days but either nos r busy or netwrk is conjested or person takes call and cuts it.Date of my journey is[protected].If I'm unable to change or cancel, legal with Air India.

    hi, After continously corresponding, emailing and following up with my travel agent. Atlast the travel agent has given me a receipt from Air india, stating they are giving me refund of 15538 rupees, which has shocked me of fraudulent behaviour of AIR INDIA. I have total paid Rupees 127, 950 / - on a ticket a return ticket in 2019. My agent billed me 120, 600/- rupees for a ticket which is vadodara to delhi & delhi to san francisco and then return from san francisco to delhi & delhi to vadodara. One side of the ticket is used by me and the return ticket was extended from 10 & 11 oct 2019 to 15 & 16 jan 2020 for that Air INDIA charged me 7350/ rupees. Air india send me a mail cancelling my delhi to vadodara ticket without my consent on 29th dec 2019, giving some reason. I called the Toll free customer service to ask about it on the same day i seen that email. The customer service told me that they can give me a ticket next day or day after. I told them to give me a ticket which is a connecting flight like the same for my ticket which is from SFO to DELHI on 15th jan 2020. They said there is no such connectivity available on the same day or day after. I asked them to make changes to my tickets so that there is connectivity of flights. Instead they told me that you better cancell the tickets and you will get full refund on my whole return ticket from SFO to DELHI & DELHI to VADODARA, they promised me 100 % refund in 20 business days. But instead the whole communication and correspondence have last for more then 2 years. Air India policy is to take charges or penalize the passenger if they make any changes of any kind to the iternairy ticket. And they done the same with my ticket and instead of paying me the full refund and the penalty as per there policy which also should be applied if they have cancell the ticket on there own without the consent of the passenger.
    AIR INDIA instead of paying the refund for my ticket of 15th JAN 2020 & 16th Jan 2020 which was my return ticket with connecting flight which i had choosen. They are paying a Interest amount after taking 2 years to resolve my issue. Ecommerce Air india and customer service are just bunch of people who are there to book the tickets for air india online and other then that they just do the correspondence without any resolution to solve the problems of refund like mine. they are just there to buy some time to waste the time not to return the refund money. Just imagine i have totally paid 127, 950/ rupees for the TO & FRO ticket plus extension of ticket charges for which air India has charged money . And they are officially Paying me 15, 538/ rupees for the tickets they have cancelled without my consent plus they had no provision to give me a ticket which has a conveniency of connectivity to my home town.
    I am certainly looking forward to handle these matter legally for the fraudulent behavior of operation.

      This is in reference to the pnr z2h6r. A day before the final departure air india failed to provide me the booked flight and finally suggested a full refund.

      Its been more than 20 days, i am calling on the customer care and dropping mails to their grievance. But nobody responds. The amount is more than 50k inr. And due to their lousy behavior, i am going to miss my credit card payment deadline, which will cause me penalties.

      Please initiate the refund and asap.

      I have received following response -
      "Your complaint has been forwarded to Air India Ltd. customer service. You should receive a reply from the company representatives within several days."

      This doesn't help. I have my payment due date on 28th March. What do you mean by several day. Its already been 25 days since i am waiting for the money.

      I want my money refund within 2 days from now.

        Three tickets of ai-9740 - guwahati to kolkata, departing guwahati at 16.45hrs were procured for 21.03.2020. The ticket fare included food also. However, no food was served on board.           I booked a flight from pune to new delhi for march 20, 2020 but i want to get it rescheduled to a later date. I am trying to reach you people since 2 days but no one is responding to that even i sent an email too but no one responded to that as well. Today when they picked the call they said that we can't do anything now. It is not my fault that you people are unreachable to the customers... This is something which you people need to work on. So, please reschedule my flight to a later date. Don't play with our hard earned money... Why should i suffer or pay for your fault..

            Dear sir/ma'am,
            I tried booking a ticket from new delhi to seoul for date 02 may. Although, while booking ticket, when i made payment on final step then my money amounting rs. 30108/- got deducted as per below transaction details.

            However, i didn't receive any mail about ticket booking. I tried contacting their customer care number which is always busy and summarily useless. I have also mailed them on their support mail ids but no response yet received.

            Therefore, kindly consider to help me to either get booking confirmation or my money refunded.

            I tried booking a ticket from New Delhi to Seoul for date 02 May. Although, while booking ticket, when I made payment on final step then my money amounting Rs. 30108/- got deducted as per below transaction details:

            However, I didn't receive any mail about ticket booking. I tried contacting their customer care number which is always busy and summarily frustrating to try contacting. I have also mailed them on their support mail IDs but no response yet received.

            Therefore, kindly consider to help me to either get booking confirmation or my money refunded.

                I had travelled by air india flight no ai 9727 from kolkata to ranchi on 20 dec2019 against ticket no[protected]
                Before boarding i requested for additional luggage plan from airindia customer care, against which a link was provided to me on my email. I paid rs 8400 but soon after deduction of amount, i got a call from air that the flight through which i am travelling is a different kind of flight and no extra baggage allowance will be provided.

                Customer care executive assured me that amount deducted will be credited in my account in 4 working days.

                However it didn't happened. Till now, i had called more than 15 times to customer care executive. Event i have spoken to manager through call forwarding. Each call took more than 40 minutes to check whether any outstanding balance is being shown in my account. Everybody said that amount will be credited in 3-4 days. Everybody said that you will get call from us in one hour that amount had been transferred.
                Some said that report for refund was generated but issue was not highlighted, now we have highlighted it.
                It has gone past more than two months.
                My amount is stuck with you.

                You are requested to raise the issue to higher authorities to assist me. I further request to pinpoint the person responsible for this delay, the unconvince caused to me, for harrasing
                Customer (As everyone took around 40 minutes to check and still made false promises).

                Another request is to reply this mail because i am collecting evidence to take up a case against the service of air india in consumer court. I already have recordings of discussions on the topic i had with your executives. Your reply wil assist me more. Non reply of the mail will be considered again another ignorance by your service providers.

                I am repeatedly requesting you to not to play with my time and my hard earned money.

                  I request to customer care to reshedule the flight but they booked with wrong timings.

                  I request from 25th to 30 march same timings evening 6.50pm and customer care agree on this and they send me the link of payment of difference amount. I paid the same.

                  But they booked morning timings 7.45am.

                  Now they are not resolving the issue.

                  Very bad experience i faced.

                    My parents were travelling for new york to india via delhi so i booked proffered seat for them from my sisters card and mine so the page has just skipped the 1st time i thought it was just refresh so i did it again so i figured might be because it is american card it wasn’t working so i booked the seat with my card that is when i realised i have been charged but the seat wasn’t booked i called the customer care several times they just asked me to contact e-commerce team and i did i did call them lots of times the whole day no response i emailed them lots of emails no response i have been robbed and they haven’t booked any seat or nothing happened there was none find issues nothing happened i just want my money back please help.

                    My parents had to travel with their legs stuck to the front seat and very uncomfortable flight even thought i paid for their comfortable travel.

                      I had cancelled round trip tickets from delhi to chennai on the 24th february 2020 within the cancellation 7 day prior to the flight criteria for full refund, but i haven't received anything yet. When i try to contact the customer service number, it's constantly busy and ecommerce email id is not responding to my emails. Air india please update me regarding the status of my refund as soon as possible please.

                        1.. I have cancelled the air india ticket (A) pnr no. Yy0kv
                        (B) e ticket no.[protected]Del - jbalpur, ai 9617) on 14 feb 20. The same has not been processed even though lapse of 1 month and intimated thrice through email.
                        2. I had to fly to delhi from jabalpur on 5 march but flight declared cancelled by air india authority at about 11pm after waiting 04 hrs at jabalpur airport. Subsequently they cancelled my ticket but i have not recd any refund process confirnation yet. T. No[protected], pnr no htkdt, fl no ai 9618.
                        3. The delay in refund is putting fiancial burden on me and the beauty is that air india is not bothered at all about customer problem.

                          I mrs arpita roy and daughter sanskriti roy booked ticket in ai-821 jammu srinagar which scheduled time was 1300 hrs on 14 mar 20, however, the flight moved out at 1240 h despite we have reported at 1205 hrs check in counter. But we were told that flight is already departed at 1240. And neither any refund nor any assistance given by air india. It was further told that director doesn’t come saturday and sunday once i wanted to talk to him. We were really harassed due to early departure of flight before scheduled time. Therefore, i want my fare refund due to the airlines fault and clarification is need why such thing happened when both passengers were lady.

                            On the above mentioned date i purchase a ticket from air india website and on the last interface they ask for the payment, i fill my card details and they deducted 611 SAR from my account and i did not get any PNR number or ticket from their website, I contacted customer care several times and inform my problem they gave us the PNR NO : HN0B1 and they said these PNR is cancelled you get the full refund amount within 7 working days (full refund means ticket not yet issued)

                            I already contacted ecommerce department for the refund, now they said my money not yet credited their account, how come i dont know, i have a statement in my bank and its shows clearly AIR INDIA LTD debited 611 SAR.

                              I have been chasing a minor issue of refund of cancelled flight tickets as per below details:

                              Delhi - dharamshala 13th jan e ticket[protected]
                              Dharamshala - delhi 15 th jan eticket[protected]

                              The flight was cancelled due to bad weather conditions.

                              Since last 10 days, i have been constantly chasing the above matter on phone/mail without even any reply email!! And always getting the same reply on phone that refund is in process!!

                              1.in no uncertain terms, i am registering strong protest and complaint for the undue harassment and frustration in this entire ongoing mismanagement and processing fiasco from air india refund processing team.
                              2. I would also highlight that some phone numbers on their website or provided to me by air india's customer support representatives are non functional[protected]/ 49631097/[protected] or not attendedl!
                              3. There is no escalation matrix or complaint redressal system in this organization's system where customer's concerns and plight can be highlighted, if it is not getting handled properly.

                              This is a complete joke in today's business.

                              All in all, i am inclined to think that flying association with air india is painful & frustrating experience. Hence, my only request is to let me know what is the timeline for resolution of refund process.

                              And also, responsible process holders for this mis-management which have caused endless follow ups/ frustration and headache should be held accountable.

                                I had booked e ticket[protected] dated 10th april from kolkata to bagdogra through yatra. It was refundable tickets, however while cancelling the same the refund amount is only reflecting as rs953 (I had paid 11886 while booking). Cancellation charges cannot be 10000 rupees right? Can you please check? I have not cancelled it yet. Why did it reflect as refundable while booking then?

It was refundable tickets, however while cancelling the same the refund amount is only reflecting as Rs953 ( I had paid 11886 while Booking ). Cancellation charges cannot be 10000 rupees right?                                   I was trying to book a ticket from mumbai to delhi on 05 and 06 feb 20 during which the payment was made however the ticket was not generated. Spoke to air india customer care executive and she said the pnr has been generated for the ticket booked on 05 feb but no pnr generated for the booking made on 06 feb 20.in both instances the ticket is not generated.

                                  I have booked another ticket as instructed by customer care executive. It is requested that full refund (Rs 24252) to be given for these two unsuccessful booking.

                                  No one has attended my query over phone as well as email for over a month. There has been no reply on the mail i sent on [protected]@airindia.in which shows unprofessionalism of highest order. There is no concern for addressing customer issues. The money to be refunded for the failed transactions on priority

                                    I would like to inform you that air india is started cheating with the out stations people and they are taking wrong decision they don’t know the meaning of gd however, gd means to take leadership and they gave us the topic planning is better than unplanned i took the leadership and started and i ended it very well where a guy who didn’t spoke a single word and at last he was just repeating a word “ plan “
                                    And infact he didn’t close the topic in a perfect way and he got selected what is this? I mean is this is the selection procedure of air india if yes then you should close this airline asap people are getting harassed for the same and most of them are getting selected internally this is totally a wastage of time and money they are cheating us by collecting the demand draft of rs-500/- and taking unfair decision and not listening properly to the candidate query they are not agreeing to talk to us they are just repeating it’s a panel decision we cannot rectify.                                       Firstly i booked 2 tickets flying on the 18 th feb from goa to mumbai (Judith vaz and sebastian fernandes) and the money was taken but never issued a ticket. I called soo many times regarding this issue from london and some of them who i spoke to was rude and unprofessional. They even told me it’s not their problem as the payment was taken by delhi office and not pune office. At the end i managed to get the ticket issued but having said that because of this problem i missed my work meeting and had to reschedule. It costed me lot of money. One of the manager said he will get back to me regarding compensation but never got back to me till today. Than i booked 2 more tickets to tel aviv (My mum bernardina pereira (78 yrs don’t speak english) and nephew kenrick agnel antonio fernandes (10 yrs) for the 23 rd feb last month. And while booking i clearly mentioned that she need wheel chair and assistant all the way through the whole journey back to goa. And i was told she will be taken care with no problem. Guess what she got lost at the goa airport first. Than somebody offered her help and took 500 rps from her to take her to the right direction and to the gate walking. Than in delhi same thing happened. She was crying for help (78 hrs old lady) i called air india hundreds of time for help from london as we were meeting in tel aviv. Air india staffs on the phone never bothered to help me at all. I even asked th to contact delhi airport to help my mum. I was constantly calling her from london to make sure she gets help all the way through. But none of your staffs helped me. At the end i had to speak to some strangers at the airport and ask for help to get my mum to the gate. I really want the answer for all this mess that was created by your staff and making my mum cry all the way to tel aviv on the 23 rd feb last month.

                                        My name is pearl shirin samson and i am writing today in reference to payment collected twice towards excess baggage.
                                        I happened to have a sol ticket : roa no: [protected] / eticket no:[protected] / pnr no. Hyd 5017291. I have boarded the flight on 18th evening at hyd via boarding no. 84 and thereby was collected usd 240 via document no:[protected] for the extra baggage.
                                        Post landing on 19th feb in delhi, i was not allowed to board the flight of ai 187 due to pay load reasons and i was off loaded on the 19th morning. At this point of time, in the delhi airport i was told i can use the same receipt of extra baggage receipt during the flight i. E on 21st.

                                        After air india failed to confirm my sol ticket for 21st of feb and i had to purchase a new air ticket for the same day 21st of feb via
                                        Pnr no: y563v
                                        E-ticket no: 098-[protected]
                                        Now on 21st i was told that the extra baggage amount which was collected on 18th feb in hyd stands as used (Partially used) as i traveled from hyd - del and the earlier payment towards excess baggage (Shows as used and collected and was not honored in delhi. This has been such a financially draining situation as i had to make another payment o[censored]sd 240 via document no:[protected].

                                        I checked with the delhi staff who has advised me to contact the toronto air india office who can look into this issue but again, its been three business days and since the email that i have sent and haven't even received an acknowledgement that they would look into the email and get back.

                                        Ai has no accountability of their actions and fail to fix issues which need just co-ordination between their own staff.

                                        This has overall been a very excruciating experience with delhi air india and poor staff management experience who fail to sort out things and make the relevant changes to the customers need.
