I travelled by air india flight ai 126 from bangalore to hyderabad on 29 december 2019. Journey started from bangalore (Blr) at 13:20 on 29 dec 2019 to indira gandhi intl, delhi (Del) at 16:10. Further i was supposed to board flight number - air india (Ai) 126 with scheduled departure from indira gandhi intl, delhi (Del), terminal 3 at 17:15 on 29 dec 2019 to reach rajiv gandhi intl, hyderabad (Hyd), on 19:25, 29 dec 2019.
My scheduled departure from delhi to hyderabad was delayed by 18 hours by air india (17:15 / 29 december 2019 to 11:15/ 30 december 2019) causing sleeplessness throughout the night of 29/30 december 2019 and undue stress due to frequent change of gates by air india staff and providing false information regarding delay of flight. Due to delay of flight i had to miss important assignments having direct bearing on my profession. During the duration of my stay at airport, i was subjected to ruthless and unprofessional behaviour by air india staff.
I view above i may be provided suitable compensation and action may be initiated against concerned staff of air india for their misconduct on passengers.

    My flight got cancelled due to operational reason from srinagar to nagpur via delhi on 12/12/2019 and from there various flights were booked along with my family members

    Totally i have cancelled 5 tickets but airindia had not refund me monwy back.. Everytime i call airindia customer care they are not able to update me status and i made no of corresspondance to [protected]@airindia.in but they dint bother to reply me...       The money has been deducted from bank and is also confirmed with the bank. Air india has been unresponsive and unbothered. They earlier said that the amount was not credited but i have proof of the transaction. It has been 48 hours that non of my calls, emails or messages are being answered.

      Please look into it and refund my money asap. This is fraud and very shameful on your part.

        I have lost my clothing items in air india flight travelled on 24th december, 2019 from new york to delhi in flight no. Ai 102, seat no. 42c. When discussed my issue with air india customer care executives, they are asking me to drop email on [protected]@airindia.in. When addressing my issue on this email id the email shows invalid and email didnt delivered, it returned to me.

        How i will be able to collect my items when air india team is not supporting.

          Hi, I had booked 3 tickets from air India website - Air India Flight No.-AI 828, Date - 08 Dec 2019, Dep Time - 11:30 hrs, From Srinagar (SXR) To Delhi (DEL). Due to bad weather the flight was cancelled. So far, I have not received my refund. I called customer care multiple times, but they have no information on refund. I even mailed multiple times to ecommerce @airindia.in but so far, I have not received any response.

            I booked a flight from the air india website: bom-ewr-bom on 11 nov 2019 for 18 nov 2019 returning on 15 dec 2019. Subsequently had to cancel it withing 12 hours on 12 nov 2019. I also on the same day, wrote an e-mail to their e-commerce department. The only acknowledgement i received from them was that my ticket has been cancelled. No mention about refund at all. I called their customer care number on 9th dec 2019 to ask for the status of my refund. I was told that it is in the process and should be done in a couple of days. I just checked my credit card statement yesterday and did not find any reversal of the entry or any refund (Even partly if the cancellation fee is to be applied). So i called the custome care again, this time there was a lasy who told be my refund had not yet been initiated, beyond which she did not know anything and that i should call their e-commerce department. So i dialled[protected] n number of times with no answer. Only engaged tone or ring tone with no reply. So again i called the custome care. This time there was one helpful guy. He checked and said his end of the screen shows amount refunded! When i told him how come one person tell me refund not initiated and you tell me it is refunded while my statement which i received the same day doesn't show any refund? He took my mobile number and email address and said he would ask his senior to give me a call or email me. Asap. No response so far. They don't even mail me the status of my refund. Or provide me a reference number of refund if at all their server shows refund. I cannot take up the issue with my bank also without any documentary evidence of refund reference. What have i got to show?

            Is this how air india behaves with their customers? Where am i to run around for refund? Please if you are reading this, help resolve the issue. It has been 44 days now that ai has been sitting on my hard-earned money. I understand a 3 to 4 weeks time period but more than 6 weeks? And no response at all of any kind?

            A few phone calls to customer care. Be persistent. Don't give up. Call every other day! Company doesn't bother sending you ANY notification - even after they have refunded - by email or SMS or call.

            After a few phone calls to their customer care, I finally got my refund reflected in my credit card. But I still don't understand as to why they don't intimate you of the status?

              I tried booking this flight on the 22nd of december and the amount was debited from but payment gateway failed (Upi gateway) and i did not receive the ticket. I called the customer care number and they told me that the ticket was automatically registered as cancelled and the amount of rs. 6186 will be reverted if i email at air india customer relations. I have emailed them but i did not receive any reply.

                Reference my pnr j5gn1.
                It is disturbingly submitted that i had done booking as armed forces discount as telebooking. On moving to airport today, i came to know that it has been cancelled without intination. Infact i received a remibder a few days back regarding our travel today. This has resultef in major financial loss as well as trauma to the family if a servubg soldier who is booked for return also. May i request you to adjust my family in the flight tomorrow and please investigate this lapse on part of air india.

                  I'm a student studying in london, i was flying back to delhi via mumbai. I had my luggage in mumbai with me, after that i haven't seen it. I filed a report the reference number is : delai30823, the status is: item located, confirmation pending. I was promised by your staff that i'll get the baggage on the very same day as it is lost domestically. I haven't received any calls from air india's side and when i'm trying to call them on the number mentioned no one picks up. I had 2 bags in check in, both of them were missing, this is a huge problem for me, please contact me asap.

                    The pre-booked seat (Paid 60 aud) was not allocated to me in the ongoing flight sydney — delhi (Ai 301, 9th nov 2019). Attached is the boarding pass of non-extra legroom seat that was allocated to me at sydney airport.

                    Also attached is the receipt of the pre-booking.

                    It has been over two weeks since i contacted the airline and sent them the proofs via email, however, no one has acknowledged the email or sent a response

                    Horrible customer service! I feel cheated!

                      I'm complaining to miss anjana rawat who was calling for sending documents with 2 passport size photos me that you're selected for supervisor post at chandigarh airport. After that she asking me to send 1500 for file charge and 8500 rs for uniform and she ask me first send the money after one day your uniform will be delivered to your address. And today also she ask me for 15000 rs more for death insurance by air india. So doubt on her and want my money back or take action on this kind of fraudsters.                         My self chandan mitra a retired ifs officer stationed at hyderabad had booked 8 seats 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f and 7e, 7f, for the air india flight ai 776 from bhubaneswar to hyderabad scheduled on 9th of december in favour of mrs aditi das, mrbinoy krishna das, mrs krishna das, mranshuman mitra, mrchandan mitra, mrs nandita mitra, mrsantosh sen and mrs smita sen respectively. The tickets were booked through credit card on3rd of september by paying an amount of ₹1378. Subsequently 2 seats were booked in the name of mr diptiman mitra and dibasha ray for the same flight. The seats were booked in advance to avoid any inconvenience as the passengers at serial no 1to 3 are senior citizens while diptiman mitra and dibasha ray got married on 8th of december and were coming back immediately after marriage. Mr binoy krishna das is 87 years old and mrs krishna das is 78 years old and now walking with support of a walking stick due to operation of a fractured leg.
                        To my utter surprise, the air india counter person at bhubaneswar allotted the seats 17 a, 20a, 6d, 7d, 4c, 4f, 8e, 8f, and 2 seats to senior most citizens at row no 28. The person at the counter informed that those seats for which i paid and booked have been allotted to others coming from kolkata and nothing could be done.in fact the seats were allocated in scattered manner inspite of booking the seats in same pnr.
                        This has caused immense inconvenience to me and my family members particularly to the aged and disabled aunt, apart from causing the financial loss to me. The air india may return me the paid amount apart from paying at least an amount of ₹50000/- for the mental agony i and my family members had undergone., within 7 days failing which i will approach the consumer forum for redressing my grievances.

                            This event took place on 19 december 2019 at 8:17 am at terminal 3, indira gandhi international airport, new delhi.

                            I booked air india flight ai 506 from new delhi to bengaluru that departed t3, igia at 9:45 am. I landed in new delhi on 18 december 2019 at 11:30 am after traveling from usa in china southern airlines. About two weeks ago, before i made the booking on air india, my mother spoke with an air india customer service representative in bengaluru to confirm the limit of baggage. She was told that i was allowed to check in all bags free of cost as long as i traveled within 24 hours of my international travel and had a valid boarding pass.

                            I had valid boarding pass, traveled within 24 hours and went to the airport at 7:20 am to check in for my flight at 9:45 am. I got my check in spot at 8:17 am. There were multiple staff around, but only three counters were open. I went to the check in counter and checked in one suitcase. My carry on weighed about 12 kg, and my laptop bag weighed around 7 kg because i had two laptops and document folder in it. Since i had only one check in suitcase, i requested the ground staff if i could check in the other suitcase as well and i was ready to show my boarding pass too. The lady said nothing of that sort was allowed and i was not allowed to check in another bag, and i had to pay for the extra 8 kg. This was completely contradictory to what the earlier customer service personnel had mentioned, and was rude that she would not let me inside the flight if i did not pay. I had to fly to bengaluru, and asked her what the cost would be for one kg. She mentioned it would cost rs. 530, and directed me to another person. The other ground staff told me it would cost rs. 670 and directed me to the billing counter. The billing counter staff told me it was rs. 500. I was frustrated and started questioning them for giving me inconsistent information, to which the staff was plain rude and unapologetic.

                            During that time, i was approached by two other passengers who faced the similar issue. A lady traveled from san francisco, usa on a star alliance airline and took air india flight from new delhi to bhatinda. Her husband had traveled a few months ago on a similar route and he was allowed to check in his bags in air india free of cost. She had confirmed with the customer service free of cost and hence booked the flight. But she was asked to pay for the extra 40 kg after getting ten different prices from ten different people.

                            Another gentleman traveled from stockholm, sweden on air india. He had a connecting flight from delhi to bengaluru on air india and it was under the same pnr. He had a layover of 2.5 hours at new delhi. Although he had checked in the same piece of baggage at stockholm, he was asked to pay for the extra weight.

                            I paid rs. 4200 and went to the check in counter. The staff at the counter was extremely rude and was not polite at all while handing over the boarding pass.

                            During my flight, i met two passengers who sat next to me. They traveled on air india from san francisco to new delhi and had a connecting flight to bengaluru. They were allowed to check in their bags free of cost.

                            It is very disappointing and misleading to customers about this varied information. I would not have booked this flight at all had i known this would be the case. I traveled in air india after nearly ten years, and i had a really bad service. One customer service representative gave one piece of information and the check in staff said something else. Each staff member gave different price for the extra weight of baggage.

                            I am extremely disappointed. I would like a reimbursement for the extra money i paid for all the false information i got.

                              My brother shri sandipan dutta & his wife srimati singing sikdar dutta, staying at us, had availed the air india flight having the following details:
                              Flight details : dl 4920 / 15 dec ai 102 / 15 dec
                              Routing : orf / jfk / del

                              At delhi, it was identified that the airline had left all luggages at new york and this couple who have come to india for a week to impart lectures at the iit mumbai are in deep trouble as all their daily requirements, clothing and every need for this duration are with the airline. Today its 19th and 3 days are just wasted when the airline team are almost reluctant to provide much details on the luggage whereabouts.

                              We could only find a little details (Which is like non-interpretable to the commoners).

                              We would like the airline company to compensate the delay and the harassment arising from their entire mis-handling and mis-management.

                                Respected sir/madam,
                                I am an indian citizen living in australia. I have my property in mohali (Punjab). Every year i visit india.

                                I tried to book a ticket online on[protected] on air india website www.airindia.in. this booking was from sydney to delhi on[protected] and from delhi to sydney on[protected] for one adults.

                                I made online payment on airindia.in website by my australian gem visa credit card ending *711. The payment of aud$ 1117.28 was immediately deducted from my credit card (Receipt attached). But i did not get any ticket.

                                When i contacted air india customer care then they told me that the ticket (Pnr no. Ygktn) failed to generate and the ticket was automatically cancelled (File attached).
                                Air india customer care suggested to file an email application to ecommerce for refund.
                                I emailed to “[protected]@airindia.in” that my total amount of aud$1117.28 should be immediately refunded to my gem visa credit card as no ticket has been issued to me.

                                I got reply from them that air india has not received any payment. But when i called my credit card company they said the amount of aud$ 1117.28 has been credited to air india account on[protected]. An amount of aud$ 33.52 has been also deducted from my as international transaction fee.
                                I continuously tried for many day to call ecommerce helpline number +[protected] and +[protected]. But they do not attend any call.

                                Please help me to get my money (Aud$ 1117.28 + aud$ 33.52) back.

                                  My father s m mohsin was coming back from bahrain to new delhi by ai 940 on 14/12/2019. I had already paid the ticket amount (With wheelchair facility on whole journey) on 20/11/19. Booking reference no is hlz5t. The ticket purchased was for patna to bahrain and back. While travelling in delhi air india office did not charge any feees for wheelchair. But on 14/12/19 when he was coming back, airindia in bahrain charged 29.00 bd for wheelchair. Please refund the excess amount charged.

                                    I had booked my flight from goa to Patna via Mumbai from Goibibo for 15th Dec. But Air India flight no AI684 got delayed for almost one and half hour due to which I missed my next flight GoAir S8585. The respective airlines didn't arrange for my next flight and is not ready to take responsibility yet. I had to book flight all by myself for 16th Dec. I have lost so much of my time and money due to all this. This is serious issue and I want compensation for that from them.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      On 7 December 2019, I tried to purchase an Air ticket from your website (Air India), using my Credit Card on behalf of my friend (Mr. Nadeem KHAN) who was to travel to Delhi from Paris. I tried one time to pay the amount and then Display shows “Sorry there has been an error with your request (I have attached the screenshot). Then I tried with my friend’s Credit card two times but the same problem occurred. We thought there is a problem with Air India website

                                      After I tried with another website in France called “Mister fly” (https://www.misterfly.com/) and where we were able to issue the ticket successfully and the Ticket was sent to my e-mail next minute. I have attached that air ticket for your references.

                                      On Tuesday when I checked my bank account, I noticed that you have deducted EUR 747 and from my friend’s account you have captured the amounts of EUR 1449.46 (747.23+702.23) with extra charges of EUR 41.14 (21.18+19, 96) (Screenshots are attached).

                                      I wonder how Air India has done these transactions without sending a ticket or notification. Then I called Air India France office. The person, to whom I spoke, was wondered by the incident. She gave this email to send my request to get the money you have captured several times under same person’s (same passenger) name without delivering a single air ticket. My friend and I manage our bank accounts balancing our monthly expenses (electricity bills, loan payments house rental etc). Since this is a big amount for us, we have faced some financial difficulties such as overdraft charges for loan arears.

                                      I hereby request from you to refund the amounts which you have charged without providing a service (Air tickets).

                                        This is the email i sent to air india, unfortunately no response:

                                        Hello air india,
                                        I boarded a flight from amristar to delhi on the 9th dec, flight number: ai 016. See the attached pic for my boarding pass and e-ticket details.
                                        My checked-in luggage didn’t come with me as it had a power bank and i was advised it will arrive in amristar on the following day after security discards the power bank from my luggage.

                                        The luggage was collected from the amristar airport on the 10th and noticed my braun electric was also taken out.
                                        I am not sure why they have take out the shaver. It is worth au$600 and has caused me a grief/inconvenience.
                                        Can this be please returned as soon as possible. I can send you delhi address if you are able to deliver locally.
