I was travelling yesterday from delhi to mumbai they told me because of thr fact that i forgot my power bank in main luggage it will be deposited to a different flight tge next day and will reach my exact home address. I signed the acceptance and everything.

When i reached mumbai these guys told me its not our responsibility to drop your luggage at home rather you have to collect it from the airport.

I have been chasing you guys from past 2 days but noone even knows where the luggage is forget about collecting and dropping luggage.

How am i supposed to know where the hell my luggage is and and when will i receive that.

I need a response asap before i escalate the matter.

    I booked tickets of air india flight from gaya to delhi for my mom and dad.. On dated 27/08/2019
    Boarding time of flight was around 12:05 a. M.

    My concern is that they delayed flight by 5hours and taking no responsibility of their passenger
    I came to the airport to drop my mom and dad and there i got the news that flight is dalay by 5hours
    My dad is ill at that time i requested them to provide at least a rest room for my dad bt ther are just simply saying that they are not responsible for that

    And they just left us their and don't help us in anyway
    I cme to tha airport from 65kms away and i also have to back to my home and that's why i don't have any other choice so i left my mom and dad inside the airport

    I just want to say they cheated us and they informed through message approx one nd half hour before the previous flight time through message

    They don't taking responsibilities of their passenger.

    I request consumer forum to take big action on them for being so irreresponsible with their passengers..

      I purchased two tickets for travel by air india with travel dates 12th sept 2019 and 13th sept 2019. Tickets were purchased through irctc web site online. Pnr - ymk0f and hrs1h. On personal reasons, i had to cancel the tickets, for which i approached air india toll free number [protected] on 14.08.2019. The lady officer who attended the call, after due cross verifications, promptly cancelled both the tickets and asked me to contact the agency for eligible refund. Unfortunately, i did not receive any sms or e mail from air india informing me the cancellation. After waiting for 10 days for refund from irctc, i contacted irctc when i was informed that the irctc is not aware of the cancellation as it has not been notified to them. Irctc asked me to make available the communication from air india cancelling the tickets. Thereupon on 24th night i again contacted air india in toll free number [protected]. Three officials on different occasions heard my point regarding non receipt of communication from air india confirming cancellation. Each one of them left the dialogue half way. To cut short the story, i am yet to get the required sms or e mail from air india to take up the matter with irctc. Please do the needful to send the communication. My mobile number is [protected] and my e mail id is [protected]@gmail.com. It is pertinent to point out that the air india web site shows that these two tickets stand cancelled. Regards.         Sir i was booking ticket from patna to delhi for 30th of September on the name of shubham raj.
        The payment of Rs. 2546 was deducted but i didn't got my tickets.
        This experience is very bad for me & may be i will not suggest my family members to book ever again on Air India.
        So please refund my money as soon as possible because i have to book a ticket again & i am not a business man i am a student so i have some limits for my monthly use.

          While travelling from dubai to mumbai on flight ai-984 on 22nd august 2019, the locks of our 2 bags were purposefully broken and missing. Such mishandling is not accepted from a valuable airline. This means the ground staff are not trustworthy. How can one travel again with such a airline where there is no security of passengers baggages. We were travelling with an infant with her day to day required important things, loss of which would create so much issues for us.

            I had purchased ticket for travel by ai from kolkata to kabul via new delhi on the 24th of august 2019. Ticket number[protected] / hhlj4. On reaching the kolkataairport i was advised that the flight from delhi to kabul has been cancelled. This was never informed to me. The delhi official s refused to cooperate and advised me to arrange for the onward journey by myself. They had never bothered to inform me in advance in which case i could have made alternative arrangements.
            Of course full refund has been promised.
            This does not solve the issue of harassment and monitory loss.

              1. I received the message from air india that flight 850 from pune to delhi on 24 jun 2019 has been cancelled due to operational reasons

              2. Despite passage of over 2 months i have not received the amount spent on booking the tickets nor any intimation that any action has been taken by air india to process the same.

              3. I am attaching copies of the tickets (02 tickets) as well as copy of the email intimating me the cancellation

                I have taken a flight from from delhi to mumbai on 28.07.2019. At the time of collection of baggage, i found that one of my check-in baggage was broken. I went to the baggage service counter and registered a complaint under reference number bomai85548/28jul19/0802gmt. It was informed that in 2-3 days somebody will contact me for the damaged baggage but even after 25 days nobody has contacted me. I tried to call on provided numbers i. E[protected],[protected], 66858107 but my all calls went unanswered. I also sent a email to baggage service department
                - bomapt. [protected]@airindia.in on 13.08.2019 & to nodal officer at [protected]@airindia.in on 14.08.2019 but nobody responded to the same.

                Such a pathetic response was never expected from such a big airline. Now i feel that i have done a mistake by booking air india flight.

                  On aug 18, 2019, my wife and i flew ai 335 bangkok to new delhi. The flight was an hour delayed. So, it left about 22:30. After a week-long seminar, i was looking forward to getting some sleep hours in as the arrival was approx 02:00 early in the morning and i had to report back to work the next day. I was a little surprised and disappointed that there was no entertainment system on board at all, considering we were flying business class. But my disappointment turned to shock as i proceeded to recline my chair. I noticed a white tape stuck over a hole, where a button should have been. Complaining to the steward got me an apology only!!! I believe under no circumstance can an airline deliberately offer a passenger a broken seat, regardless of the class of travel. This is outright fraud if you have not taken the consent of the passenger first. Secondly, since there was no entertainment system onboard, passengers are expected to quietly sleep the distance (Which all passengers around me dutifully did), so sitting upright under such conditions is outright torture. My wife did not sleep well as well as i kept falling on to her in my state of extreme exhaustion-induced snatches of sleep. The airline owes us both an apology, a full refund and then some if they would like to preserve a faithful frequent flying passenger of the last 25 years.

                    Hello,

                    I am writing you this mail to report a incident happen with me while traveling with air india, actually i was travelling from hyderabad to indore to attend a important function which was at indore and unfortunately i missed my early morning flight which was of indigo airlines. Now at hyderabad airport i came to know that the next flight to indore was of air india which will depart from hyderabad at 08:25 am and shall reach at 2:40 pm, i immediately rushed to air india counter and your official told me that only business class seats are available then i checked online and got economy class seats with pnr - hkn65, now that time i was not at all aware and neither informed that flight from mumbai to indore is cancelled. As soon as i arrived mumbai airport i came to know that flight to indore is cancelled, also there is no alternative option for indore, also our luggage was thrown from the aircraft all over the lobby, and specially the behavior of staff was so rude that they are not ready to help the passengers even it was their fault they were behaving as it was our fault. Then after so much chaos and blunder they told us that you have to board a flight which is at 07:25 pm and will not reach at indore it will reach at bhopal which is approx 200 kms from indore and then we will be transferred by bus to indore and shall reach indore around 11:00 pm.

                    I mean what is this i have paid rs.23000 for two passengers to reach indore before 04:00 pm and unfortunately i reached at 12 because flight from mumbai to indore is also delayed by half hour. Not only i missed the function but also i wasted big amount of money.

                    It is completely your fault you could have easily said to us that flight from mumbai to indore is cancelled at hyderabad airport only so we could have gone to our home, you are saying this at mumbai airport what could we have done there instead of choosing alternative provided by you. Because we have no place to stay at mumbai.

                    I request kindly take serious and necessary actions against this and also against your employees who are involved in this management. I also request you to refund the amount paid by me to book this tickets to reach indore, because i have paid that amount to reach indore not bhopal and then too on time. If i could have traveled by road instead of flight then too i could have reached before your flight and also with nominal fare.

                    I request you to kindly check this issue and please do the necessary to process the refund for above tickets as i have already missed my important function and paid you approx 10 times the actual fare to reach early and then too you are unable to do that and it is my right that my money should be refunded.

                      My husband has traveled from muscat to mumbai and had the connecting flight to calicut. From muscat he had a hand luggage but upon check in to flight ai 581
                      The authorities insisted to put his hand luggage as a luggage as they had no space in the aircraft cabin.
                      But to our disappointment he received only one of his baggage. He had traveled on aug 11 we have been to trying to reach the airport officers and had filed a compliant referral number :ccjai51472
                      We were informed that the bag was in mumbai and will be delivered to us in a couple of days but it has been a week now and there is no proper response from the authorities.
                      Lastly when we tried to call the mumbai office the office staff was very negligent and unresponsive.
                      Please respond to our issue at the earliest, hoping for a prompt response from air india.

                        Dear sir
                        I feel sorry to report you that i, zahid syed coming to india from milano (Turkey) airport to igi delhi with my family by ai 0138 on 14.08.2019 and landed at igi airport at 8.25 am. I waited for my luggage (Four big suitcases) at airport for about three hours. When enquired we were informed wait we are tracing. After three hours of wait they finally said the luggage was not loaded in plane from milano. We were shocked and worried about this incidence. They assured us not to worry you just give us your address in india, the luggage will be sent to your address within 24 hours. Even after four days of my arrival here in meerut, my luggage has not yet been sent.
                        It is a serious issue and you are requested to take immediate action against the concerned to recover my luggage. I am worried and needs your help and support.

                          Dear sir/madam,
                          I have booked two tickets in flight ai-9685, with booking id - nf[protected], that was supposed to fly at 10.15, and was delayed for 127 minutes without prior information.
                          As per revised norms of director general of civil aviation effective from 1st august 2016 if any flight is delayed for more than 120 minutes, air lines must pay panelty of rs 10, 000 along with fare.
                          So as per rules, you must pay this panelty for both tickets.

                            I booked 3 air tickets air india flight ai 191 from new delhi to newark (Usa) on august 11, 2019. Flight was scheduled to depart at 9 pm from new delhi. But at 8 pm just one hour before departure announced flight is delayed to 9 : 45 pm. But at 9 pm said flight is cancelled. After that madness started at counter and after repeated requests air india personal came and told us will move us to different flight. But no instructions we were shufllfed from one gate to other again security checks and after tormenting and biggest harassment of our life were sent to another flight. We arrived in usa 5 hours late and plus got sick and missed work due to poor management by air india at delhi airport.. All three o[censored]s are suffering from fever and respiratory problems because of that. I am physician and becos of all this i had to miss work that i hold air india responsible for that.

                              As that was mention in air india mail to me that flight no ai9627 was depart from indore to gwalior at 3pm on 16 aug 2019 and my wife neetu verma check in to airport on 2 pm exactly (I attached uber taxi ride details scren short with this mail) hardly takes 2-3min from there she stand up in queue but after 15min when she reach to the ticket counter person says sorry mam i cant gave you ticket because you are late no tell me accounting to your rule she came before depart time that is 45min. She was late because she is pregnant and giving birth a baby with in 4-5 days n before going for admitted in gwalior hospital she just consult with family doctor.
                              She try to convence at ticket counter but the person seated over there is rude dont even leasing to my wife she also said please talk to my doctor about this issue but he said please go from here i cant help you... (I also attached video of that person with the mail) this kind of services provided by air india i really shamed with this kind of behavior there is no humanity over there even there is no women staff there so that they can understood.

                                My name is swathi lakshmi i had received a message from quikr.com named bhartandu namwal mentioning that my job application has been selected in air india for domestic airport, for joining send passport size photo, id proof, educational certificates and updated resume on whatsapp number [protected]. When i chatted to this number he replied me my job post is ticketing and my joining date is june8 of 2019. There was no interview, direct joining only. Then airindia application fee @₹1550 and 8300 and 5500 for training fees pay till today by online[protected] then he told me evening the offer letter copy get in email and original received 2-3 working days in my home address. The reporting date isjune 8.
                                Then he told me pay sent receipts or screenshots for online transactions. He mentioned it’s not a consultancy, he is working in air india. After that i asked him for my offer letter. Then his mind is changed again he asked me training fee needed for offer letter and amount is ₹8300. That time i recognised he is fraud. So what i will do?? How can i return back this amount?

                                  air india are the worst airline I have experienced in my life. I have flown to over 20 countries with about the same number of airlines. air india are a complete joke...but not a funny one because the joke is on the customer. I have never experienced such incompetence or unprofessional behaviour with any other company in any other consumer transaction anywhere in the world.
                                  I am now back in the UK. Reimburse me immediately !

                                  I booked my ticket in the UK with Southall travel.
                                  2 days before my outbound flight to Delhi I telephoned Air India to reserve my seats. I was told that I now had reserved window seats on every one of my flights and there was no need to check in online. It was all done. I arrived at Heathrow and took my pre booked window seat to Delhi.
                                  On 14th April arrived at Delhi international airport at 09:50 in the morning to fly to Kathmandu. The flight was due to leave at 12:50. 3 hours later. I queued with my luggage for almost 2 hours.
                                  When I got to the check in desk I was told that Air India had over booked the flight so I would not be able to fly that day and would have to fly the following day. I protested and said that this would not do. I had made several arrangements with 5 other people, I had a Jeep booked to collect me at the airport, deliver important things at Boudhanath where I would meet with others, then go on to pick up another passenger and finally transport us to Namobuddha which is a 3 hour drive. I spoke to several members of staff and two managers. I was pushed from pillar to post. I demanded that Air India put me on the next available flight with whichever carrier they could. I was repeatedly told that this would not be possible as the only other flight to leave that day was a Nepal Airlines flight which was already full. I persisted. Finally they called Nepal Airlines  who agreed to put me on the flight if there was a cancellation and the 2 airlines would sort out everything between themselves.
                                  While I was waiting I questioned the Air India representative Mr. Suraj Kumar
                                  about how his company could make such a mistake, he informed me that it happens quite regularly and that every week at least one or two passengers do not get their seats due to Air India over booking their flights.
                                  He said that confirming seats for my future Air India flights by telephone was not a guarantee that I would get the seat because priority would be given to people who book their seats online and if I ever was to confirm my seat by telephone then Air India's policy is to advise customers to arrive at the airport to check in at least 4 hours prior to departure. The agent in the UK said nothing about this when I confirmed my seats with him.
                                  A seat came up with Nepal Airlines at around 14:35. I was told to hurry forward. I did so do with the Air India representative towards the Nepal Airlines check in desks. However when we got there the Air India Representive informed me that I would be liable for the excess baggage as Nepal Airlines allow only 20 kilos of luggage whereas my luggage allowance with Air India is 46 kilos. I refused to pay. It was not my fault that Air India over booked their flight so why should I, the passenger be penalised for their utter incompetence.
                                  My Kumar spoke to his manager, invited me to speak to the manager and I did so. I informed the manager that I was less than happy with how I had been treated and if Air India did not pay the excess baggage then I would take legal action against them. He made a call and got one of his seniors to agree that Air India should pay for the excess baggage. So we went back to the Nepal Airlines desk and I proceeded to check in. Everything was done as fast as possible because the flight was due to leave very soon (15:55)
                                  Then after I had been processed I proceeded to passport control. Just as my passport was about to be stamped Mr. Suraj Kumar came running up saying that there was a problem with the excess baggage and Air India was not going to pay the fee after all. So I had to trundle back to the Nepal Airlines desk and pay them 3, 360 rupees before I could board the flight. I then had to go through passport control again and run through the airport in fear of missing the flight.
                                  At the end of the whole scenario I repeated to Mr. Suraj Kumar that I would do my utmost to take legal action against Air India. He was not happy about this at all and protested by saying "look, I have personally gone out of my way to try to help you and it is now over 30 minutes beyond the time that my shift should have ended. I have been back and forth from this place to that trying to sort this out" And it is true, he had gone more than 30 minutes beyond the time that his shift ended. I know this because I asked another member of the Air India staff at one stage when he was absent for a while and when he returned he confirmed that this was the case. His shift was due to end at 14:30. It is also true that he had done everything in his power to help me but only when I threatened that I would take legal action against Air India. Up until that point he was saying that there was no way I could get another flight that day and I would have to travel the next day. This was echoed by all the rest of the Air India staff including one manager. So my reply to Mr. Kumar was "well perhaps you should find a job with a more trustworthy and reputable company. Do you like working for a company that does this sort of thing to it's customers ?"
                                  One strange thing is that when I called air India to pre book my window seats that day, the operative at the call centre repeatedly told me NOT to check in for my seat online. He was quite emphatic about this and I had the impression that he was somehow making something out of it ??
                                  In their liturgy Air India state that it is best to pre book your seat online to get "Good" seat. If this is done more than 24 hours in advance there is a charge.
                                  Also, (after queuing for almost 2 hours) as soon as I told the woman at the Air India desk at Delhi international airport that I had pre booked my seats in the UK she immediately took me to anothef part of the airport to another air India counter to speak to someone else. It was not until this point that I was informed that the flight had been "overbooked"

                                    I had travelled from DXB to CCJ on 02/08/2019 in airindia (ticket copy attached for details). After collecting the checked in baggage from Calicut airport, I went out of the airport and hired a taxi. I opened my checked in baggage to takeout Indian money which I kept in a wallet in a bag inside the checked in bag. But, I found that my wallet was kept outside the bag with no money (3000 INR stolen). Fortunately they didn't steel my ATM card, that's why I could mange to reach home.
                                    I know I shouldn't have kept my wallet and money inside the checked in bag, but last minute hurry from DXB airport, I forgot to take out from checked in baggage.
                                    I am not expecting you to return my money, but at least I want an investigation to find out the culprit (you can check CCTV footage). I know it is a habit for the some staffs in Calicut airport to steel from baggage(we have seen and heard many such incidents). If you make an investigation, they will be little afraid to open the baggage of passengers.
