Your staf[censored]s the most incompetent staff i ever seen and the services are #. My mother checked in for flight to gorakhpur and never reached there. She was still roaming in the airport and no has clue where she is. Asking from staff it's not our fault asking from cisf it's airlines responsibility. No one gives a # about someones mother you guys should be ashamed of your self if you cannot guide a person to board flight.

    Hi,

    Air_india ground staff oppress me like anything.
    I was travelling to bangalore and having couple of handbags which was exceeding the weight greater than 7 kg. I realised that and immediately called my relatives to return the excess one as per the airline rule. When i was proceeding to security check couple of ground staff run behind me and asked me to pay the money for this extra luggage otherwise we will not allow you to proceed for security check.
    Then, i have told them that your employee have given me a signal to proceed and given me boarding pass then, why you guys are asking me again for the same. Then, they reconfirmed my all details and gave me green signal.
    Now, at departure gate other person again stopped me that you need to pay the amount for this luggage and on other side they were allowing other passengers who were taking big-big luggage in the flight which were violating the rules of hand baggage and i asked them why you are stopping me repetitively not them they said you have not paid money and they had. Until unless you won't pay us we will not allow you to take this ahead.
    Then, i literally shouted on them once your member has already checked this allowed me okay then why you guys are forcing me to pay the unnecessary amount. Already, i have given extra baggage to my relatives. Then, i have said that i will sue you guys in the court then they have left me and allowed me to board the flight.
    The above mentioned experience was really give me a confidence not to choose air india. If you want to travel then you should be ready to pay unnecessary amount.

        fraudster message received as job offer

        I received a message today morning from "bh-airind" stating that i am a short listed candidate for a job in air india. They never mentioned what kind of job it is and they are asking me to pay 8570 rps that includes gst.

        I know it's a fake and scam message. But i don't want other people to getting into trouble. His name is hardeep singh and his number is [protected]

        I had a return international flight that was cancelled under us dot policy. I was told to write to [protected]@airindia.in for refund. However since then i have sent 4 emails and contacted customer care for 5 times. All i get is to write email to [protected]@airindia.in which never responds nor do they initiate refund

        It was a round trip of 2 people so costing around $3000. It's not a small amount and this needs to be settled quickly.

          I try to book 3 air India ticket online on 18.07.2019 around 4 P.M. from Kolkata to Bengaluru for 10th August, 2019. The amount Rs. 15654/- has been deducted from SBI bank account vide reference No. received in mobile phone is UTIS2121Txn#636135 through debit card. After deduction, no confirmation of booking received, but there is an error message stating that 'time error limit'. No e-mail or SMS for booked ticket has been received so far. I request to the Competent Authority to send e-mail of my booked tickets or kindly return the said amount urgently, because I have to booked tickets anyway.

            I regret to inform that while coming from Delhi to Kolkata in Air India flight- AI-764, my luggage has been opened during carriage by someone and I have lost my stuff amounting to Rs. 7250/-. I had given 3 bags for Check-in, weighing 45kgs (also confirmed by Kolkata baggage security team with Delhi Airport authorities). When I collected my luggage from "Belt No. 6" in Kolkata, the chain of my luggage was open, despite of a lock. When I weighed it again with the Security officers of Air India- it weighed- 43.5 kg. After checking I realised that 1 sweater, 1 Branded Perfume and 1 box of chocolates were missing- all amounted to Rs. 7250/- as I purchased from them Zurich, in Euros. Also, I regret to inform that we did not receive any satisfying response from the Security officers- headed by Mr.Sunny, who firstly were not ready to believe that the luggage has been pilfered- giving excuses that the Weighing machine might give wrong results. Later when I found about the missing stuff in front of the whole team- they said that despite of the value of stuff lost- maximum they can refund me is Rs. 450 per kg lost, and they suggested me to go to any level for the complain and to not fly with Air India again and this is all they can do. when I asked them to make me meet their manager who will do the investigation, they said there is no one who I can talk to. This is highly disappointing and unprofessional from their end.

              I travelled from atlanta to bangalore with stop over in istanbul and delhi, unfortunately my indigo flight from istanbul to delhi took 9 hours to complete instead of 6 and lost 5 of my luggage out of 6. As delhi was my port of entry i had to do immigration and customs clearance. I was rushing as we had only one hour 30minutes to catch our air india flight to bangalore. Because of our lost luggage and lodging a complaint for the same we missed our flight. Air india refused to listen to us and also certificate of delay by indigo. All they said could do was re - book a fresh tickets for us at 15500rs per head for a one way ticket from delhi to bangalore on a tuesday. Finally had to travel by indigo as they had a cheaper ticket for10000 rs.
              Being the oldest airlines in india, aren't air india supposed to help us, don't they have to set a bench mark for other airline s. We missed our flight because of indigo airlines and yet we were punished. Nobody in the booking counter showed any concern nor patience to hear our woes.

                  Hi,

                  I booked my tickets through tickets to india from london to bangalore via air india - reference number - jb3cx.

                  There was a spelling mistake on my surname. I realised the mistake as soon as the ticket was issued and contacted tickets to india and air india customer service within 24 hours of issue of tickets.

                  I am being told that the only option i have is cancellation of ticket and pay the cancellation fee. This is a simple error which could have been easily corrected.

                  I am utterly disappointed with the service provided by air india. All other airlines are much more reasonable when it is an error.

                  I would appreciate if air india can look into this matter and provide me with some assistance.

                    Regarding continuous flight delays of ai this is for your notice that we are frequent international travelers and travel around 34 km to airport. The flight information is never up to date and we end up waiting for 5-6 hrs with young kids which is very inconvenient and tiring. 12 july19 ai 405 to delhi scheduled 12.30pm on inquiry was said to be on time but is 2 hrs delayed so far. I intend to complain to higher authorities. My pnr jvpq1.

                      I have been complaining my issue since last 3 days (9th july) about the missing baggage from mumbai airport. Wich was not boarded during travelling via a1 774 but still not received any solution from your end.

                      Customer service is just pathetic & mumbai people is disconnecting the call & diverting customer to kolkata for updates rather looking into positive solution.

                        We have booked a ticket in my daughters name via ai9610 from dehradun to delhi on 2nd june to catch the connecting flight for lusaka through ethiopian airline.
                        The flight was canceled in last minutes due to that we have suffered a financial as well as mental loss
                        And even passing of 42 days we have not received the refund in my account.
                        Its too much disgusting.

                          Two passengers, b s krishna kumar, pnr, ycrct & daughter lakshmi priya pnr, ycrjm, had confirmed booking to thiruvananthapuram, by ai flt ai 263 on 11 jul 19, departure 0515h. On reaching check-in counter, we were told the flt is over booked and we can be accommodated only by 6 pm flt. I requested for any other carrier, since there was an important appointment for my daughter.. But, the duty manager expressed inability stating over booking is the airline business model n there is no solution. We have been severely inconvenienced n missed the appointment and caused severe inconvenience. The ai staff had been indifferent. There were other passengers as well who were

                            My name is gurmeet singh lamba. Me along with my wife Mrs. kawaljeet kaur lamba & my son 12 years old Master Jaiveer singh lamba traveled from Frankfurt to Mumbai on 28th May 2019 on AI124. We made reservation for seats 11G, 11H, 11J, and paid total Rs. 9444/- for the above three reservation. Air india accepted the above payments online. The above seats are emergency exit seats. The copy of acceptance of payment attached below.

                            On 28th May 2019, when we went to check in, we were told my son cannot sit on the emergency exit since he was 12. Hence if we have to sit together we have to change our seats. Hence we had to give up our reserved seats to others because obviously me and my wife could not leave our son on another seat so that we could enjoy more leg space.

                            Had your system not accepted my son's reservation, we would not have spent money to book me & my wife also. Obviously we always travel together.

                            Sir we request you to kindly refund money for all the 3 seats

                              I am composing this email with deep grievance of having suffered severe loss for having booked air india flight. I am a student who had to book a sudden flight from trivandrum to delhi for delhi university admissions. I had to take up an offer of make my trip which booked two connection flights of two airlines with over 4 hours layover in mumbai. I had immense faith in air india that i accepted the deal. My flight was scheduled at 20:15 on 28th of june 2019. On 28th of june at 05:48am i received a message stating a delay of 2 hours in the scheduled flight. I tried calling through the toll free number [protected] but i couldnt get any response. I checked in early at 5 pm and requested them to alter my flight if there was to be an additional delay. But the staff assured that i would reach there on time. I asked them if there would be a further issue but they stated a full assurance. My flight was further delayed to 11 and they stated that since my second flight was at 2:00am i would make it. A further delay was announced and the staff stated that i wouldnt make it to second flight closely after they assured that there would be no further delay. Upon enquiring about the refund they said that they were not responsible for the connection flight as it was my fault that i booked a connection flight. I enquired if they could arrange a sudden flight to delhi and they refused. To quote them they said that it was my fault and i couldn't blame them as "according to them one would not book tickets prior to reaching if they were to travel by ksrtc or rather public buses." it's hard how the staff of one of the most reputed airlines behaved in an irresponsible manner. They were not ready to help us nor give us another option apart from the refund of trivandrum to bombay flight. They weren't ready to arrange another flight for us. I had to go to delhi as my admissions couldn't be delayed. I had read about the new airline rule which allowed compensation for the delayed or cancelled flight but the staff refused to oblige. It was my first time with the air india and i still cannot believe how they responded to a customer/consumer. The head of the department refused to talk to us until it was the boarding time. I requested for an arrangement in the flight to delhi and they refused. I had to book fresh tickets which led to a loss of 17000 ruppees with an initial loss of 10, 000 for my connection flight.

                              It's been over 14 days since I have complained both via Gmail as well as through consumer complaints and it is so heartbreaking that I have not approached to resolve this issue.

                                I tried to book a ticket for july 4th 2019 from trivandrum to chennai on 2nd july 2019. I tried to book through mobile app using sbi credit card. After entering otp, the ecommerce site of air india did not accept the money and itinerary was not sent to the given mail id. No sms too. Sbi card says merchant has claimed the amount of rs 5431. The transaction id is vt191840019030010000053

                                I have sent mails to [protected]@airindia.in & call. [protected]@airindia.in.

                                Airindia is not responding. It has been an really bad experience dealing with ai commerce site.

                                Kindly help me in getting my money credited back.

                                  I was travelling from indore to hyderabad on 30th june 2019. I had to join the new organization on 1st july. My luggage got misplaced by the airlines and i got my luggage after two days. Due to this my joining got delayed by 2 days. I had joing on 3rd and this has caused the loss of pay to me. This should be compensated by the airlines as it is its fault and can be taken care of.

                                    I have booked one ticket in flight no AI 439 vide pnr no. Y96XR for date 23rd June and its e. Ticket no. is[protected]C1/P1 from DLE to MAA on 23 June . But it was entirely cancelled from AIR INDIA. Same was known to me via email from air India. I have send mail for refund on [protected]@airindia.in thrice but no response and refund has processed till now. There has not been even a single acknowledgement mail from air india. This is very disappointing and was unexpected at all. There should be some moral responsibilty to take care of customer greivances. This is entirely not professionally ethic. Please process my complaint at the earliest.
