Most unfortunate that though i had paid extra for seat 27 f and 27 h on air india flight ai 187 delhi - toronto on 07 oct, 2019, both the seats had non functional in-flight entertainment/tv consoles. The overhead reading light and the remote unit were also non functional. The air hostess simply apologised and stated that quite a few tv consoles were not functioning on the aircraft. The extra payment i made should be refunded.
I challenge air india to refute my statement and claim. The two seats i have mentioned can be checked by any air india executive or someone from the air india engineering department.

Useless and the behavior or attitude of stuffs are very bad like we travel free..last time we are late for only 5 mins and they randomly cancel our ticket after many requests they dont even listen(still we have 40 mins before departure and its domestic flight)
Lose my rs 9000/-

    Dear Sir
    On 11th October we travelled by Air India from Chennai to Jammu via Delhi. On the baggage scanning Sundaresan Subramanian baggage was scanned and checked in the counter and issued boarding pass. In delhi when he went to boarding to Jammu he was stopped by your staff saying there is a power pack in his suitcase which was scanned and checked at Chennai Airport and that time it was not informed to him. Me checked in at Chennai airport and the power pack was asked to remove and keep in hand baggage. And it was the fault of your scanning staff not pointing out at Chennai Airport and he was penalised at Delhi airport and his luggage was retained and told to collect luggage at Jammu airport. As soon as he reached Jammu and made a complain that the luggage was not received. As we are on Yatra to Vaishnavi Devi Golden Temple and to Devi peedams at Himachal pradesh. He has been forced to stay at Jammu. When he called the next day he was told by Air India staff in Jammu that the luggage has arrived and Collect before 3pm and as soon as he reached Jammu there the Airport staff was not available. He has to stay at Jammu for the night to collect the Luggage.
    Morning he collected the luggage and then checked that power pack was missing in his Suitcase. Then he engaged a taxi to join our team at Amritsar. He has spent more than Rs 15, 000/- for his Hotel and taxi fare and the tension carried out due to the fault of your staff at scanning in Chennai. We request you to refund the amount spent by him and advise your staff to take more care in future.

      Just because of Air India airport staff "Suraj", I missed my flight AI995 on 11-oct and my PNR was H90EJ. Where he denied to issue boarding pass even after I got confirmation from immigration officer where I had some issues with my passport.
      Initially immigration officer allowed when I went for stamping they denied for it. And later on after discussing with them they asked me to bring boarding pass where "Suraj" did not listen to me and said I can't give it as flight is already closed and moved from the gate. It was 08:02pm. I requested a lot but he didn't listen at all and at 08:20 he took out boarding pass from his pocket and said now flight is closed. N u can't reach. It was such a ridiculous behaviour of the staff because of dis I missed my flight.
      Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      Have been calling customer care from past 8 days to reschedule my flight from 11th October to 9th October. Please I need urgent help/action.

        Dear sir,
        On dated 17.02.2019, i booked two return air tickets with air india with pnr jbsxx and ticket no 0983xxxxxx897 & 898 with both last name kasxxx for lko-del-iad (One stop at lko) for journey dated 23.05.19 and 30.10.19. On 29.04.19 i received itinerary modification amending late arrival at iad by 06 hours 25 minutes. I assume it was due to problem with pakistan air space.
        Now for the journey on dated 30.10.19, i fail to hear for any change in itinerary. I wrote mails at id call. [protected]@airindia.in, call. [protected]@airindia.in, [protected]@airindia.in, [protected]@airindia.in, [protected]@airindia.in on dated 26.09.19, 28.09.19, 02.10.19, 04.10.19, 05.10.19, 06.10.19 and on 08.10.19. I tried to call them in several contact numbers. Phone is ringing and nobody is attending the call, sent emails but no reply to them as well. On dated 02.10.19, some mr. Nilesh, customer care, mumbai mailed me “xxxx can we arrange a call back on +[protected], regarding your below query. “and again, on dated 09.10.19, the same person mailed” once again we apologize for inconvenience and delay caused.” on dated 10.10.19, from call. Del, some edwin, air india customer care/ chennai mailed me “to share your updated contact number with country code, so that we can reach out to you” but no body turned up so far.
        My concerns are: (I) to have a latest itinerary for journey dated 30.10.19 for flight no.104 iad-del and no 431 del-lko (Ii) while booking tickets on 17.02.19, air india provides flight del-lko, flight no 431 (Del dt 31.10.19 at 12.20 and lko 31.10.19 at 13.25) without any other option. My concern is that (Overlooking pakistan air space problem), my flight from iad will reach at del on 31.10.19 at 11.00 and with a time gap of only 01.20 hour, i have to do many exercise ; walk from plane to immigration counter, 15-20 minutes time at immigration counter, walk to luggage belt for luggage collection, walk to air india counter for boarding / luggage deposit, walk for security check and finally walk to domestic gate which is being closed 30 minutes before flight schedule (Leaving less then one hour for all aforesaid exercise). I assume but dame sure that all this could not be done during the time given and i will fail to board at the flight.
        Please resolve my concern at the earliest.

            This is sakshi who had flight from delhi to cochin on, 9 august and departure on 12 august.
            My email id is ahuja. [protected]@gmail.com

            The flight was cancelled by the airlines due to runway flooded in kerala and floods that happened.
            I got refund of that amount

            But for cochin to amritsar flight which was on 12 august, i didnt get full refund
            Reason i got is that operations became normal and flight departed?

            Like really i didnt take my flight from delhi and how do u expect me to take flight from cochin.

            My othet friends who had booked flight from other airlinee got refund of both tickets
            And i didnt get

            This is the height o[censored]nseriousness.
            It cost me 6600 half of my salary. I want that refund.
            If pnr is different, thats because i didn't have enough money to book flights of both the side.

              Booked business class, following things were not working for a 15 hour flight:
              International flight, date 6-oct flight ai127.
              1) media entertainment audio was not functional at all. Basically no entertainment for entire 15 hour flight
              2) the tray table was broken and did not position properly on the lap. It was crooked and pressing on my thigh that i could not sit properly.
              3) the seat incline and decline did not work properly as well.
              4) i asked for either get the above problems rectified or give me another seat. Got a reply that the business class was full and though the first class is empty they wouldn't upgrade me as that was first class (Along with expressions that made me feel insulted as if i am not good enough for it).

              This was the first time i was brave enough to fly ai though many of my friends warned me.
              Unfortunately my return flight to india on 17th is also air india.
              Business class seats are expensive, after paying so much money getting such a bad experience is pathetic.

                We would like to bring in your notice that we had travel in month of Dec 18 by Air India flight from Mumbai to Delhi. In journey our bag got damaged by Airline handling. We had lodged complaint against the same immediately. On complaint the picked damaged bag for claim cases and provide us a receipt of the same which is with us.

                After that we are continuously following for the any kind of resolution of this matter. Sometimes they responded on a few of our reminder mails but the matter is not yet resolved till date. The detail correspondence is there in trailing of this mail.

                It will be appreciated if any kind of help will be received from your side to resolve this matter..

                  My mom and dad are traveling with air india from delhi to usa. My mom is diabetic and she has swallowed feet so she is not able to walk properly and my father has knee issue both are not comfortable in walking so long so we opt for wheel chair for them at delhi airport. But when they reached their and asked for the wheel chair they denied and said we just provide to them who are not able to walk a single step with very harsh tone. Nowhere it is written that this service is for handicapped only. And this is not the way to treat someone. If this is your way of treating then you should remove this option

                    I booked an Air India flight ticket AI 234 GAGA-CCU on 28-Sep-2019. but due to something error, the flight had been cancelled. Therefore, i booked another flight for going to CCU, because i had to go back my country on that night. now, i come back India again, but the money still not return in my account. i am waiting for refund money from Air India until now. please, let me know how to get the refund for that incident.                       I booked my ticket through your portal my frequent flyer number is ai[protected] today i book my ticket online and payment is confirmed by my bank account and you have generated my pnr no z5mjf when i come at airport for checking i shocked that your ticket is not yet to be confirmed and is gone in to automatically cancellation mode you should buy the new ticket and your representative at amdabad airport booked my another ticket and charged for that one please refund me my booking amount under pnr no z5mjf without any delay. And also credit my points in my ff no ai[protected].

                      Awaiting for your revert soon.

                        My flight on 7th oct ai983 has been changed without consulting. This is unacceptable as i have some prescheduled work and will damage my working status. Please note my previous flight ai984 on 5th sept was delayed by 4 hrs without prior intimation and worst case was baggages on mumbai airport delayed 3hrs which made me and my 9 month old child waited on airport. This is pathetic experience with air india.

                          Dear sir/ma'am

                          While booking ticket from air india website the amount of rs 16, 802/- was deducted without the booking.

                          Transaction got failed while booking the ticket and payment as such i booked another ticket. Transaction against which ticket was not booked was pending from bank (Sbi), which got approved on 24th, and it is no more pending with sbi and amount is credited to air india account.

                          I have several time contacted air india regarding the issue and requested to make refund. However no satisfactory response is received.

                          It has been more than 2 weeks and refund of 16, 802 is not made.
                          I am attaching the bhim transaction details as proof for the approved transaction.

                            I was traveled from Mexico to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Delhi, Delhi to Bangalore by Lufthansa LH499, AI 120 and AI506 on 28.09.2019.
                            arrived at Delhi on 30.09.2019 morning at 8.30 am and waiting for my luggage at belt no. 14. my luggage was not arrived. reported at AirIndia staff. complaint raised. complaint no. DELAI 27196. Till now I have not got any information about my luggage. status showing not traceable. several times called customer care. wrote a mail to del.[protected]@airindia.in. not received favorable answer.
                            I would like to claim compensation for my missing luggage and need to know when I will be getting my luggage

                              My name is sayed imran from mumbai i got a num from olx about placing the candidate for air india.
                              A person named siddharth he calls himself hr of air india in mumbai international airport he told me and whatsapp me the offer letter of air india in it mentioned that i am selected for the position of csa and he is telling me to pay 300 rs by paytm only for courier charges after that he will courier me the original offer letter mentioning my name on it he is asking for my aadhar card pan card and photos by whatsapp after 12days there will be joining still i haven't paid for it.
                              Is siddharth the man in air india genuine or not or siddharth name person doesn't exist in air india.

                                We have booked your flight from delhi to hyderabad flight no. Ai542 our booking id y9ggm (Booked through ease my trip) which was scheduled to leave delhi today i. E. 30.09.2019 at 9-45 am. The flight was delayed for about 2 hrs. Which jeopardized our entire schedule. We had received the communication of the delayed flight by sms once i reached hyderabad after availing the flight.in view of the inordinate delay i request you to compensate me adequately in this regard.

                                  Recently on 20 september i had a flight from kolkata to delhi at 8:30 pm and i booked air india for it.
                                  As there was way too much road block in kolkata i reached the airport at 7: 50 pm and in the way i tried web checkin from 5 pm onwards but was unable as the air india site was just denying it.
                                  When i reached airport the gate was the last where i had to get my boarding pass... It took me 6 to 7 min to reach there and when i reched i requested them to allow me as my duties were there next day in a hospital..
                                  They took the weight of lugagge and it was 23 kgs and told me to get it checked and issued a boarding card.
                                  When i started leaving the counter and was proceeding to the security check 4 to 5 people started shouting from behind and stopped me as i had left my phone and i card on counter... I went to take it.
                                  At that moment they asked me to weight the hand bagggae and it was around 12.5 kg

                                  They told it is extra... I asked how much total is allowed. They said it is 25 plus 7 plus 2 kg for laptop bag... So 34 kg... I had total 35.5 kg... I told to take the money for extra luggagee as it was important for me to go.

                                  The officials told to throw away articles from luggage which were my books and my mothers clothes. On there repeated pressure i threw water bolttles and choclates but still was overweight by 1.3 kg so they just tore my lugagge tag and took my boarding pass and tore it and left me there that you will not be allowed

                                  What kind of service is this where 1.5 kg of overweight denies you from going home..

                                  I was left stranded in airport for 2 hours and than issued a air asia flight where i had to apy hefty charges as i had luggage of 23 kg which i had got according to air india and the harrasment i faced.

                                  This is a really pathetic situtation..
                                  If rules are there than that must be followed
                                  After being late rule was briken for boarding card but when it came to 1.5 kg extra witha custimer having boading card u deny it.

                                  I being a doctor see many emergencies many day and we have to cope with all the stress but if your own country airlines treats you in such a bad way it us horrible

                                  Hi, on 26th sept, i boarded the flight AI-439, at 6:05 am from delhi to chennai.

                                  I had 3 bags in total out of which I got only 2 bags. One, bag has been misplaced by the airlines. I have already filed the complaint at the chennai airport baggage counter. But, i want this issue to be resolved ASAP.

                                    I'm rhea, an undergraduate student studying in delhi. I had boarded the ai 466 flight from kochi to delhi scheduled at 7:30 am on 27th september, 2019 from terminal 1 and reached the igia at terminal 3 at 10:45 am.
                                    After reaching home, i realised that one of my check-in luggage has been broken open in such a way that it cant be used further.
                                    I require an explanation as to why my luggage was manhandled after it was cleared during the check-in. One of the zip has been broken and the lock, taken way. Even worse, the sticker stating the ownership of two of our luggages has been removed.
                                    Since the baggage is a recent purchase, i require a compensation for the misuse of my belonging. Also, i must sadly inform you that if i do not receive a response, along with sufficient action taken, i will approach a higher authority and take matters very seriously

                                      I have been trying to contact air india for few days to book a ticket for my 3 year old, bcz i have already booked a ticket for myself. I tried to call them in several contact numbers. Phone is ringing and nobody is attending the call, sent emails but no reply to them as well. It is really annoying. Please do the needful or make alternative to book for child alone along with already booked adult ticket.
                                      Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      I want to ask questions related to flights and I have called twice but there is no reply to the Customer care number [protected] since 1 hour. Now where to contact to get answers.
