Dear team,

Kindly be informed, i traveled in riyadh (Saudi arabia) using air india flights at last to last week (I. E. 29th april to 06th may, 2019).in this trip, i used your four flights (I. E. Delhi-mumbai, mumbai-riyadh, riyadh-mumbai & mumbai-delhi) & ticket was booked prior. I faced a lot of complications in travel due to your services & earned very worst experience.

The 1st flight (I. E. Ai - 887) was scheduled to depart at 07:00 am from delhi to mumbai. When i woke-up at 3 am at morning on 29th april, i received an sms i. E. (“air india flight ai887 del-bom of 29-apr-2019 shall now operate as ai665 on 29-apr-2019 and depart at 0800 hours”). I reached on air india counter at delhi airport exactly at 5:00 am. I handed over my flight ticket & passport to the executive for ticket booking. He checked the documents with required information in his system & took 15 minutes to expose the fact i. E. “there might be some issue with your flight, you may proceed to supervisor counter.” even after sharing the flight cancellation message. Then i reached at supervisor counter with my luggage. At this time the supervisor took net 1 hour in ticket booking & printing the boarding pass. When i tried to ask the reason for long delay in between, he replied in a rudely manner that flight got cancelled & it was not his problem. Even in between he handled the couple of other cases for flight booking. I was helpless at that time, standing & watching towards his face only. Then i took the boarding pass & proceeded towards respective gate for boarding.

The 2nd flight (I. E. Ai – 921) was scheduled to depart at 12:30 pm from mumbai to riyadh on 29th april but it got delayed by more than 3 hours. Its arrival time at riyadh airport was 02:30 pm but it was landed at approx. 07:30 pm. Actually there was very crucial meeting scheduled with my client at evening (I. E. From 04:30 pm onwards) on same day in riyadh but i missed the same due to flight delay.

The 3rd flight (I. E. Ai – 922) was scheduled to depart at 06:45 am from riyadh to mumbai on 06th may, 2019. Also, the return journey from riyadh to delhi was scheduled using connecting flights. I already made the web check-in for this journey. I reached on air india counter at riyadh airport about 04:30 am. I handed over my flight ticket & passport to the executive for ticket booking. He checked the documents with required information in his system & said that flight from mumbai to delhi is not showing open, so you have to wait at least for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes when i asked the status, again he told the same thing & suggested for wait. Hence, i had to wait approximately for 1 hour in standing position as there was not any seating arrangement. Finally the executive told me that flight is showing now but there’s some issue with luggage. He printed the boarding passes & suggest to take the entire luggage inside the flight/cabin. Although he told to the security guys for allowing to take the luggage inside. Then with much difficulties i reached at respective gate with my entire luggage for boarding. Again this flight got delayed for 1 hour. It was very strange & terrible for me.

The 4th flight (I. E. Ai – 687) was scheduled to depart at 04:00 pm from mumbai to delhi on 06th may, 2019. I reached at mumbai airport, took my entire luggage & completed the immigration. Then i came to know that my flight ai687 got cancelled, new flight (I. E. Ai144) will operate instead of cancelled flight & will depart at 05:00 pm. After this i lifted my entire luggage, reached at air india ticket counter for luggage check-in with much difficulties, received the new boarding pass & proceeded towards respective gate for boarding. By-chance the new flight was on-time & i felt some relax 

In-short, it was the worst travel of my life that has provided very bad experience to me & illustrated the actual reputation of air india. However anything cannot heal the loss of my precious time & difficulties faced by me during this travel but there should be some monetary compensation given to me. You must take the corrective actions in order to resolve the all reported issues of your services.

    I was on board in ai 645 on 14th may 2019 with my 7year old kid, flying from mumbai to jodhpur.
    The flight provides you with the food while on board. That day the vada pav served to us had a nylon string inside the vada. This is a sheer lack of check and complete negligence on what is being served to passengers and how it can have a bad to worse effect on the health of a passenger. This has really disappointed and am now worried what could have happened if my child would have eaten it!
    This was reported to flight attendent ms manjusha, who said that they will take the matter ahead but did not provide with any email id for complaint.

      Dear sir/madam,

      I along with my family had been booked on air india flight no. Ai-101 with pnr number jor7e on 02/05/2019 and later on the flight got subsequently cancelled. My wife was supposed to take the connecting flight to canada the next day i. E. On 03/05/2019 (Copy of ticket attached).

      We had no option but to cancel the flight and book another flight on spicejet. Also, i am suffering from a very bad left knee pain and cannot walk comfortably (Doctor prescription attached).

      I would now humbly request you to kindly consider my complaint on a sympathetic and humanitarian grounds and arrange to refund the full amount of the tickets crediting the credit card through whom it was booked for 3 passengers viz. Alice gonsalves, titus gonsalves and tarush gonsalves.

      Kindly consider the request on a priority basis and oblige.

        I had a confirmed ticket for 5 passengers (Pnr : yxr87) on flight ai715 on 10th may, 2019. According to the ticket counter closing time was 45minutes prior to departure time ie 10:35am (As the departure time was 11:20am). We reached the counter at 10:30am, but the guy at the counter told us that we were late and he hurriedly write down on our ticket that we reached at 10:45am.
        Still, i didn't understand what he was trying to do. He told us to go to one counter with an old lady with a very bad temper. She just started scolding us that we were late, counter closes and all passengers were on board with full seat (Maybe overbooking??). While she was scolding us and giving us lecture, they still let another guy in (Indian looking not like us).
        After that she refused to talk to us and told us to go to the front desk. The lady at the front desk was very helpful. She told us to plead with the old lady as the plane is still on the tarmac and they haven't started boarding also. We went back to the old lady who refused to help us.

        Im very upset with the behaviour of the guy at the counter who wrote down wrong timing of our reporting at the counter and the old lady who refuses to help us. The guy at the counter initially even wrote 11:45am as our reported time which he later changed to 10:45am.

        Is this the way you treat your passengers/guests/customers. Is it because i don't look indian enough. Im very surprise and upset by your ground crew behaviour.

          Sir,
          I want to inform regarding service and responsibilities showing air india staff.
          I travelled from visakhapatnam to mumbai by ai 651 on 11 may 19 and by ai 681 from mumbai to kochi. At arrival at kochi i not received my baggage then after consulting air india staff at kochi i lodge complaint my file no. Cok ai 42073.
          Since today morning i called so many time but nobody is responding to resolve the issue. Mumbai air port staff saying your luggage forwarding message not received from visakhapatnam and kochi is saying i lodge complaint i m not responsible you contact mumbai. Finally i m getting harrashed, everywhere customer is suffering but air india not taking any responsibility. Customers care which is 24x7 service saying today is sunday because of that staff is not available in office. Can you agreee with this if yes than where is customer stand.

            Sir,
            I have the honour to inform you that i have booked tickets inadvertently twice in same flight, same passengers (My wife & daughter) and same date. It may more specifically state that
            1) booking has done for 04/06/2019 & 10/06/2019 through easy my trip vide booking id no. Emt 57034872 with pnr nos. Hodlr, hodlc, hodlr, hodlc in f/o smt rumi (Datta) sarkar & minisha sarkar fo to and fro journey between kolkata & guwahati.
            2) inadvertently done another booking for 04/06/19 & 10/06/19 through air india web site vide web reference: ai be 47411236/ pnr - jsrf5 in f/o smt rumi (Datta) sarkar & minisha sarkar for to & fro journey between kolkata.

            In both cases, flights, passengers, date & timing of flights are same but only difference is booking agency. One has done from official web site of air india and other has done from easy my trip.

            Both tickets booked from different agencies are attached herewith for ready reference.
            In view of the above, you are requested to take necessary action towards cancellation of one booking for two passengers for the dates 04/06/19 & 10/06/19 (Ie direct booking from air india site) & retain the other one and refund the full value of two tickets for to & fro journey between kolkata & guwahati.

              Dear sir,
              1. Kindly refer to my reservation via booking ref. (Pnr) no. H2ddg.
              . On 27 april, 2019, your flight no. Ai 9604 from allahabad to delhi was delayed by long time.
              Air india office at allahabad told me that it was not certain when it will arrive.
              Thus, it was not possible for me to reach delhi before my next schedule ai flight which was just after.
              2. Also refer to my. Reservation booking ref no jmdrb.
              On 28 april, 2019, i have to catch ai 173 from delhi to san francisco at 03.30 hours.
              3. Obviously, because of your delayed ai flight from allahabad to delhi, i would have definitely missed
              My connecting ai 173 flight from delhi to san francisco.
              4. I, therefore took other indigo flight from lucknow to delhi to board ai 173.
              5. It incurred great loss of about rs.20, 000/= to me to do so.
              6. I request you to bear this loss of rs. 20, 000/= and pay it to me.
              7. Please reply me immediately, otherwise i will be forced to approach some appropriate authority for redressal.

                I had booked flight ticket form visakhapatnam to mumbai on 2nd may 2019.
                Thru flightxp,

                Pnr no hyy8j, ticket no[protected] trip no[protected] no line booked via credit card yes bank [protected].

                Due to fani cyclone our flight got cancelled on 2nd and from airport i request to reschedule on 3rd may next day but air line had reschedule on 4th may which was not acceptable. I had informed airline to cancel mu booking immediately and process 100% refund as informed duty manage and your staff at vizag on 2nd evening,

                I was given letter from air india duly stamped and was informed that ticket is cancelled and i will be getting 100% refund. Now flightxp has informed in writing that cancellation would be applicable as per airlines.

                Need you help for processing 100% refund rs 13, 461/-

                  Today I booked round trip tickets for Kolkata to Hyderabad. The tickets cost me 13625/-.
                  Whereas the same tickets if I buy separately, it cost 5195/- + 3758/- = 8953/-
                  How the price for same tickets can vary this much? I tried to contact your "24x7" customer care several times and it is always busy. I waited for even half an hour and no executive available for picking up the call.

                    Due to fani cyclone my ticket was cancelled twice on 3rd may, 2019 and 4th may, 2019. So when i talked to the agent for the availability of flights on 5th may, 2019. He said that all bookings are full and no flight was available and having no alternative i forcefully had to book on 6th may, 2019 as my father was very ill. But on 4th may, 2019 i see that there were many flights available on 5th may, 2019. But now they are not allowing me to book on 5th may, 2019. When i am helplessly requesting to change due to my dad's fatal condition but they are not at all allowing me to change the booking. I am really frustrated and i need a resolution on this matter at the earliest for loss of time, effort and money.

                      My wife travelling alone to chicago.
                      Hence for comfortable fly booked from surat-delhi-chicago flight wide booking reference no y140l.
                      For return flight on 6.05.2019 scheduled has been changed & chances are that she may miss connecting flight from delhi to surat
                      Not able to contact air india customer care no nor getting any reply for my mail.
                      Now they are telling for they can give us next day flight but will not provide any accommodation for same.
                      We have to stay for their schedule change.

                      What is this the flying date is 6th of May -2019 .

                        We have been penalised with cancellation charges of rs. 10500 on each of these blr-ccu dt may 04, 2019 (Pnr y0cf8) and ccu-blr dt may 09, 2019 (Pnr hgdyp) flights for which web booking was done from ai official site on may 01, 2019 at 9.42 pm. Cancelled tickets at 8.35 pm on may 02, 2019 and at 5.00 am on may 03, 2019, respectively.

                        Due to cyclone fani, dgca has stalled arrrival/departre operations at kolkata airport between 9.30 pm of may 03, 2019 and 6.00 pm of may 04, 2019.

                        Ai has not implemented its new cancellation rules for cancellation of web bookings made from may 01, 2019. Hence the discrepancy. We demand refund of cancellation charges.

                        Both tickets were cancelled conforming to the new rules of 100 % refund of the booking amount, namely,
                        (1) for pnr no. Hgdyp ticket booked more than 7 days prior to travel time and cancelled within 24 hour of the booking;
                        (2) for pnr no. Y0cf8 ticket cancelled after dgca decision to stop operation of the flight arrival/departure at kolkata airport.

                          1. I colonel a s bajpai serving in armed forces. Sir/madam, i have tried to book air india ticket from air india website and also from the offices from delhi and imphal airport for journey on 5th may 2019 from delhi to imphal. There is no direct flight from delhi to imphal on 5th may 2019 so i will be traveling in air asia flight on 5th may 2019.
                          2. Hence, for official travel reimbursement i will be requiring non availability certificate from air india for the journey from delhi to imphal airport on 5th may 2019.
                          3. You are requested to provide me non availability certificate on my mail [protected]@gmail.com so that i will submit it to my account section for reimbursement please.

                            On 21st april i booked a flight from air india app
                            Destination was from delhi to bagdogra. At my first attempt my transaction was failed but my money was deducted from account. I called them mailed them they said money will be refunded with in 4, 5 working days till today it's not refunded. Again on 21 may i booked for same flight again same thing happened. My balance of 10350 is stucked. And i don't have any idea wether it'll be refunded or not as i am a student from bhutan in india. I am cash less and helpless. If some one can resolve the problem i would be thankful

                                Sir/madam,

                                My name is syed ajaz ahmed holding indian passport number residing in oman with my family, in muscat oman. As i write this to you, i am doing so with a considerable level of fury and disappointment at your organization.

                                This is regarding flight number ai985 dated 15th april 2019 scheduled to fly from mumbai international airport to muscat international airport.

                                We bought 5 tickets to travel back to muscat.

                                Despite us reaching the check in counter on time and being issued a boarding pass as well still we were not allowed to fly back to muscat.

                                We were in total 5 family members travelling with 2 small children with special needs. We travel to mumbai for the treatment of our physically ill child.

                                We travelled from jaipur to mumbai by train to catch the flight. Do you realize the fatigue we would be in?

                                I along with my 5 family members including my sick son had received boarding pass on time in mumbai international airport. We proceeded with the security and immigration and reached the gate as soon as possible.

                                The air india staff denied our boarding. After immigration zero assistance was provided at the gates with only comments from your “lethargic and not so helpful staff” that we couldn’t go any further.

                                It is surprising not one member from your team tried to reach us neither at the airport to trace us.

                                I asked the staff what is my fault? Why should i go back?

                                Why was my ticket not rescheduled? Instead i was asked to take my luggage back.

                                I asked for a solution and all they said is that is that you have to go back once the luggage comes back.

                                There was no announcement and no one even came looking for us. Is this our fault?

                                I and my family with my two special needs children were standing outside air india office at the airport and requesting for rescheduling of the ticket. The present staff were saying after two hours we will see.in the meantime they have taken my boarding pass and never returned it back. Kindly check in my passport the immigration seal has also been done.

                                Things did not end there!!! We had to wait for our luggage and then too only to get insulted by your staff that if we did not leave from there, they would inform security and have us thrown out! Our ill child was sleeping on the airport floor because he needed medicines and was tired of waiting.

                                At 3am in the morning we were sent out of the airport to hunt for hotels in an alien town since we hail from jaipur. Isn’t it airlines responsibility to take care of the situation and help the passengers? There was no help to book us on a next flight or what we should do further. All they said is that we need to get out of the airport fast.

                                We weren’t carrying extra money as we did not need indian rupees in muscat. After we were out of airport we had to look for taxi and then hotel to stay in. How should we move around with a sick child looking for hotel to stay back in?

                                As we had no money, i have borrowed from my friend to help for the hotel expense.

                                This is a big shock for me. First time in my life i have seen such a rude behavior of your staff. I have been travelling from past 35 years and most of my flights are from air india only. Never have i seen anyone so irresponsible and rude in behavior in air india. Not being the first time i do business with you, i am surprised of the terrible way of treating a "valued" returning customer.

                                Why was i not given another flight back to muscat?

                                We took loan from our relatives and paid for the taxi and hotel stay.

                                We booked new flight again at much higher value after three days for all the 5 members of the family to return back to muscat. I had no money and i had to borrow from my relatives.

                                My previous experience through your air line has been horrible and most inconvenient. This is a very unprofessional behavior from the air india airlines.

                                I hope that air india being a national flight of india will specifically deal with customers who have had poor experiences on the airline.

                                As a result of this inadequate service and no proper management of the air lines staff, the resulting inconvenience is intolerable especially with two special needs child of which one of them was physically ill.

                                Moreover the rude and abrasive air india staff tortured and harassed us and the manner in which our boarding passes were snatched is highly unacceptable. This is not the kind of behavior we would expect from the national air lines of india.

                                As i have suffered a lot and according to the above mentioned i have all the right to claim for the new tickets we paid for along with the 3 day stay at the hotel and conveyance charges.

                                Because i bought new tickets, i have requested for the compensation.

                                I also further claim for my other expenses.

                                I am requesting for the compensation for which the airlines is responsible.

                                The refund requested by me is reasonable compared to the offense i have suffered due to your airlines unprofessional way of leaving the traveller stranded with no option other than buying an expensive ticket at the last moment.

                                We hope that you plan to take necessary precautions to prevent such incidents in the future and give me compensation for which im eligible.

                                  I was travelling from Mumbai to Delhi via AI660 on 29Apr2019. First of all, the flight got delayed by 30 mins then by 50 mins and so on. The flight time was displayed as 'Estimated at..'. I went to designated gate prior 45 minutes and came to know that there is no confirmation of flight time still. Post which while I went to washroom and while getting back, they have suddenly opened the gate and boarded hurriedly. Even the screen display was not updated as 'Boarding started / Gate is closing' etc. I was just one status - 'Gate closed' The height was like, nobody had bothered to announce or came searching at lobby for a person like me who has already checked-in and waiting. When I checked with one of personnel at Gate, the lady talked very rudely as if I have done a great loss to their company, even it was my loss. God only can save this airline and nobody else. I have decided NOT to think of this airline in future at all !!!

                                    I am a regular passenger of Air India with Frequent Flyer No ******7290.
                                    I was traveling from Indore to Bangalore via Mumbai from (PNR: HNVKK) AI flight no 636 and AI 607 on 27th-28th April. However, I have not received my checked in baggage yet.
                                    I have completed the property irregularity report and I have been told that I will get my luggage by 9 am on 29/04/2019. One of my co-passenger with similar itinerary also received her lost baggage but I have not received mine which stuck my couple of very critical work.
                                    I have also not any update about my baggage. Moreover, I am also trying to Air India Bengalore International Ltd, Bengaluru office but most of the time no one is picking up the call and not able to sort it out.
                                    I suffered the tremendously around more than 48 hours including painful waiting time due to a major issue with air India server on 27/04/19 followed by such a bad experience of lost baggage.
                                    Thus, I request to please do the needful so that I can get my baggage

                                      I made a booking of air India flight on 25th April for flight AI993 from Bangalore to Dubai on 7th on May 7 but after the transaction succeeded, there was no booking confirmation. I called up air India n then asked that the booking got cancelled from their end and I need to send mail to [protected]@airindia.in to process refund and I need to initiate another transaction to make booking. I made booking again and money got deducted again but the previous deducted amnt was not credited at all. The customer support has no decency or watsoever to reply back to the mail I sent atleast confirming that they will act on it even after sendin several mail's. For some problem at their end we have to suffer n perform so many follows ups calls but nothing s being responded forget amount being credited

                                        De-boarded from flight because it was over booked. No compensation or refund given. I had to book a flight on the go which costed me 12, 000. I am just a student and 12, 000 is a big amount for me. After repeated complaints to air india, they have given me no resolution.
