My name is bharat bahl and i was traveling from delhi to hubli via mumbai from ai flight no ai 865 and ai 508 on 27th april. During transit i lost my baggage which carries costly clothes, eatbles and medicines. I have to proceed furthe to bangalore, hyderabad for very important official work which is collapsed totally.
I suffered pain of around 19 hours journey with painful waiting time due to major issue with air india followed by such a bad experience of lost baggage. Hubli guys was somply helpless and couldn't able to locate the baggage. I need great help...

    We have booked our round trip flight for our family Holiday from Mumbai to Colombo (Srilanka) on AIR INDIA FLIGHT through Easemytrip.com for Departure Date 01.05.2019 and Return Flight Via Chennai on 07.05.2019.
    Our PNR Details are as follows: H4GTB; H4GVL; Z84MT; H4GN6

    Due to the terror attack that happened on the Easter Day in COLOMB (SRILANKA) and still on going threat and security issues We want to cancel our trip to SRILANKA. We have been chasing both Ease My Trip as well as Air India for granting us full refund for our round trip flight without charging any sort of cancellation charges, but none of them are processing our refund request.

    Ease My Trip is saying if the AIR INDIA passes a remark on our ticket for full refund Ease My Trip is happy to offer & process us the full refund.

    We have been Chasing AIR INDIA Customer Care Team Via Phone Calls and also via email from 23.04.2019 but no response till date. They are simply saying that they don't have any go ahead on processing the said refund request for the flights beyond 30.04.2019. We requested them even tried to make them understand about the safety issue and on going tension in SRIKANKA but they are not trying to understand any situation and simply saying that their flights are operating so they cant do anything unless they get any go ahead from the higher authority. On Unsatisfactory response from the Customer Care Team, We have also written an email to the Mr. Vivek Sharma (Nodal Officer) but no response yet from him. Also we tried to write an email to Mr. Sanjiv Kumar (Appellate Authority) but the email id provided are not correct and the emails are bouncing back.

    We also conveyed the message to AIRINIDA team that yesterday even INDIGO waived off all the cancellation charges for all their flights to COLOMBO till May 15, 2019, than why being AIRINDIA the National Carrier of our Country is not considering our request granting us the full refund, why they want to play with the safety of their citizen just to earn the Cancellation Charges.     Air India is just giving a deaf hear to our request and working in their won fancy way. We are approaching this forum with a great and hope and expectation that this forum will understand the reason for the said cancellation and will help us to get our flight ticket money in full without any sort of deductions.

      To new delhi on 03:04:2019 boarding at 11:30 am from sfo airport. It

      Was a non stop 18+ hour flight. Our seat numbers 30h and 30j.

      These were exit seats and we paid extra 100 usd for that.

      To our utter painful surprise the info-entertainment system

      Did not work at all. Headphone jack on one of seats was

      Altogether missing.

      We were totally confused, how to spend 18-19 hours.

      On being told about this the staff initially told us that they

      Will rectify it from "back end".

      But in spite of multiple complaints nothing happened. On the

      Other hand after some time the behavior of the staff became

      Rude. "this is like this only. Do whatever you can do."

      You can well understand our plight on such a long flight.

      We want to be suitably compensated for deficiency in services,

      Minimum being :

      *full refund of ticket cost along with rs.100, 000/- per

      Passenger for causing mental trauma for being treated rudely

      And feeling totally helpless.*

      You can demand any amount, but in practice, nobody will pay for such text as:-

      1. No ticket, no reply of the air carrier is seen .

      2. The essence can be resolved in the court or can not be resolved in the cort.
      The examination of the civil claim in the court is paybale service everywhere.
      You are not going to spend Rs 20'000 for the legal service in India or from USD500 for the legal service in US.

        I booked a ticket from Bombay to Delhi on 30th july'2018 for 3rd nov'2018 through air india's app in the name of 2 passangers- Aakriti jain and Taru jain. My transaction was completed but the ticket was not generated due to some technical glitch in the app.
        I called the customer care, and they told the refund will be done.
        so, i booked another ticket through my laptop on the very same day due to urgency.
        later, due to some reasons I had to pre-pone that ticket to 30th october'2018 and paid additional amount as required.

        I've been calling the customer care since then and just getting the reply that the refund will be done, but still no action has been taken. I've written several mails too regarding it but no revert has come.

        I've talked to my bank (Canara Bank) and they have given me a official written statement that the money is not with them, it has been sent to Air India through online transaction.
        I request you to take action against my refund not being processed since it has been 9 months now.
        Being a student that amount of money(Rs 8090/-) is very much valuable to me.

        how log is it going to take to be resolved?
        While issuing boarding pass I was told there was problem with the booking done one day before on 21 Apr 19 and it took 45 minutes to issue the pass when the attendant directed from one counter to another. Request your advise on issue with the e-ticket if any.

          An officer at the shirdi airport was very arrogant and there was a little bit of delay in getting to the airport and the boarding was not completed and she was on the phone and did not respond to our request.. The list was not closed and we had requested for more than 45 min.. The flight had not arrived. But she refused saying she has closed the chart.. The other officer's also were requesting her from spicejet.. She did not yield and we suffered such loss about time and money.. Requesting for action against savitha patel.. She is the only lady officer in shirdi airport

              I'VE NOT RECEIVED THE FULL REFUND AS PROMISED AIR INDIA. UPON CHECKING THE BANK STATEMENT I SEE THEY REFUNDED THE AMOUNT WITH PENALITY AND I RECEIVED ONLY 531 INR ON 26/03/2019.

              I WAS PROMISED BY AIR INDIGO AGENTS TWICE THAT I WILL GET FULL REFUND WITH NIL PENALITY SINCE MY TRAVEL WAS NOT COMPLETED DUE TO SERVICE ( INDIAN AIR FORCE ) exigencies/high alert.

              On April 9th, I've spoken with one their colleagues named Sudeep over the phone call. He requested to share the details again of my booking to look into this further.

              ISSUE : On March 15, 2019, I've contacted Air India customer support number on[protected] and spoke with one of their agent named Padmapriya. On phone call I informed her very clearly that my leaves were cancelled due to service ( India Air Force) exigencies/high alert.

              She took some time and checked with someone senior and confirmed that my FULL REFUND will be processed and asked me to drop an email with my flight details..which i did immediately. I've attached the screenshot of the mail as well.

              After few days, I've called again on your toll free number[protected] to check on the status of my refund. Again, your another agent confirmed that my full refund will be processed if really the leaves were canceled due to exigencies/high alert and full refund will be given.

              I'VE SEND MULTIPLE EMAILS FROM THIS EMAIL ID AND ANOTHER EMAIL ID AS WELL WHICH IS ( [protected]@gmail.com and [protected]@gmail.com ) REGARDING CANCELLATION. ATTACHED SCREENSHOTS AS WELL FOR YOUR REFERENCE.

              I'VE ALSO HAVE AUDIO RECORDINGS OF THE AGENTS WHOM I SPOKE WITH WHERE THEY CLEARLY CONFIRMED ABOUT FULL REFUND.

              The Last email I received from their support team is stating that as per the revised modalities of the Air India Waiver,

              "applicable penalties of re-issuance, date change, no-show, cancellation and refund charges for

              duty travel of Armed Forces Personnel stand waived for all Domestic travel till 31st March, 2019."

              Request, kindly provide an official document clearly stating that the travel was for official purpose along
              with the reason for the date change/cancellation of the duty travel to enable us to process a full refund
              against the transaction.

              I HAVE ALREADY PROVIDED THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AS REQUESTED BUT NOW THEY HAVE STOPPED REPLYING. I HAVE TWEETED THIS ALSO, SENT A MESSAGE ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE AND NO ONE SEEMS TO BOTHER ABOUT THIS.

              Received a mail today stating that they have initiated the full refund. Thank you.
              Air India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
              I made a flight ticket booking for Delhi to Hyderabad sector and paid RS.3469/- via upi. My state Bank account has been debited but I haven't been issued a booking confirmation or an e-ticket. There's no sign of any confirmation from Air India. Please look into this matter

              One of my connected flight (DELHI to VIJAYAWADA) is cancelled by Air India due to Operational reasons. They just sent an email.
              Immediately I called customer care offices in India, No body responded.
              I called more than 10 times and waiting more than 30minutes in each attempt (International Calls).
              No response and VERY VERY BAD experience.

              Then I called customer care in Saudi Arabia and Cancelled full ticket. As per him I will receive full refund and asked me to send email to ecommerce. I did the same and reminded emails sent several times.
              As usual no response, even not responding by phones. I book the complaint in their portal, Also no response.

                In reference to my flight from vienna to bangalore via delhi. Reference number - j43mn on april 17 (Ai154 vie-del) april 18 (Ai502 del-blr). Passenger names: andrea joseph e-ticket[protected], samyukta rajkumar e-ticket[protected].
                Last 4 digits of debit card used: 0372. Mobile number - [protected].
                Cancellation done well in advance 20 days before starting the journey as my visa was denied on flimsy reasons by the authorities,. Hence the cancellation was beyond my control. The total amount rs 45509.91 indian rupees. (580 euros). I got only rs 13, 851/-
                Being a student this is not acceptable to me and i didnt get the refund full details. Please forward the resons so that i can seek legal remedies as other airlines refunded the amount almost in toto to my co traveller.

                  On 13th april, 2019 i was travelling from chandigarh airport to kushok bakula rinpoche airport, leh ladakh by flight no ai 458, with my mother and two other friends. After the baggage check in, they said my luggage was 10 kg more than the actual one. So me and one of my friend went outside to return the extra stuff to my brother who was waiting there. After we come back they did the baggage checking again and said it is fine now, but did not provide the boarding pass. And told us to stand in a queue again which was way too long. Air india staff intentionally did it and made us miss the flight and did not provide any assistance. I called the customer care and they suggest me to write a online complain. Our ticket charges was total rs 12000. My email id is [protected]@gamil.com and contact no is [protected]. Please help me out for my refund as early as possible

                    I am vinay kumar kottapalli, i was travelled from mumbai to hyderabad ai 050 on 18 march 2019 with baggage tag # ai977791 / [protected].

                    My check in luggage bag (56*45*25cm) has damaged in transit, i have already reported this issue to the concern person at the time of arrival and drafted a first mail on 19th march 2019 to lostfound. [protected]@aisats.in and there was no response send a remainder mails on 22nd march 2019 and 10 april 2019.
                    Still there is no response from them i request you to look into and do the needful.

                    There are no attached evidences of passenger and of the baggage such as

                    - full name, address, contact of passenger,

                    - e-ticket related to 18 March 2019 AI50 flight,

                    - bag tag number AI977791,

                    - your own complaint addressed to the Air India carrier

                    In order to commence to start the procedure on the compensation,
                    the passenger is required to submit complaint regarding the exact issue with the baggage, according to e-ticket and bag tag,
                    to the air carrier not later than 7 days following the flight.

                    The Air India carrier or their agent have to issue the Damaged Property Report or Property Irregulatory Report ( P.I.R. ) to the claiming passenger following the claim.
                    The Air India carrier has a duty to deliver the baggage to the passenger door or
                    to decide regarding the compensation not later than 21 days following the receipt of the passenger complaint.

                    If the passenger does not know his rights (max claimed compensation) the rules related "how to claim via" the authority, including the style of evidences,
                    such passenger can hire a legal professional for the agreed remuneration,
                    aiming to get the compensation via the authority or via the court.

                    The legal assistance can cost from rs 4000 for such type of cases.
                    the filing fee can be Rs 100 or Rs 2000 for such type of cases before the court.

                    I am complaining that my parent name sukhvinder kaur flight Al 0301 from sydney to new delhi had requested for wheelchair from aircraft to parking but she was not provided and she got ill and sick moreover we have given extra charge for wheelchair in ticket

                    So please ensure that in future no other would suffer and update your service

                      Our family of 3 had a flight from mumbai to bgdogra with a stopover and change of flight via delhi. The flight from mumbai got cancelled (Ai0348 on 7th april 2019) after a delay of 2 hours and as a result we missed the connecting flight to bagdogra (Ai0879). We were then shifted to a new flight to delhi.
                      We checked multiple times with their staff about another connecting flight from bagdogra as we had to reach there on the same day to continue our trip to bhutan from there (All hotel and trip bookings were made accordingly). They assured us that everything will be taken care of and that a connecting flight will be arranged.
                      After reaching delhi we were informed that there are no flights for bagdogra for the same day and that we will have to take a replacement flight the next day. Had they told us this in mumbai we would have flown directly to kolkata and got a connecting flight from there (Which was possible to do as flights were available).
                      What was unacceptable in this situation was that they caused us so much stress and financial loss just because they simply did not think to tell us that there are no connecting flights available from delhi on the same day even after we checked with them multiple times. When we argued with them about this they told us that all that they can do is provide accomodation in delhi and a flight next day. No compensation can be provided for the loss they caused us and that all we can is is lodge a complaint with the airlines and hope for the best.
                      I am writing here not sure how they can be held responsible for their complete lack of respect for their passengers time and money especially since all this could have been avoided - all they had to do was give us honest information.

                        My flight from rome to dlehi was delayed by 6 hours but i have not received any communication from the airlines regarding the refund, nor have they sent any update on the process. I have contacted the company through both customer care as well as by email and directly in their office but no source was helpful in giving me the required information. Irresponsible!!

                          I was standing in a line at for about 45 minutes at h counter of indira gandhi international airport on 5.4.19. I noticed after 30 minutes of standing the line, the counter staff has started ticketing for passengers from other counter when i objected it he informed this counter is exclusive for some tour group. When i said than you would have announced it or might have displayed this information. The staff of air india started soughting on me. And said we work like this only and you can complain where ever you want.
                          I have been made standing on the line after displacing from some other lines by air india staff only.
                          This is a gross misbehaviour. A suitable action on the staff must be taken. Because this type of behaviour for international flights are also effecting the name of country.
                          More trained and professional staff must be recruited and placed for this type of work.
                          To keep pride of the country up.

                            The ticket (Multi city) was booked for delhi to kozhikode and the payment was made through upi (Bhim) app. An amount of rs. 4020/- was deducted from my bank account. The ticket was not booked and an error message was reported by the website.
                            The amount of rs. 4020/- was not returned by air india for the un-booked ticket.

                              My name is rehena i had received a message from [protected]@jobsupdates. Quikr.com named bhartandu namwal mentioning that my job application has been selected in air india for domestic airport, for joining send passport size photo, id proof, educational certificates and updated resume on whatsapp number +91 [protected], when i chatted to this number he replied me my job post ticketing in vijayawada terminal 1, and my joining date is april 10 of 2019. There was no interview, direct joining only. Then airindia application fee @₹1550 pay till tomorrow by online to qr code he sent that. Then he told me evening the offer letter copy get in email and original received 2-3 working days in my home address.
                              Is it true. Can i trust these all. Already like this airlines shibani airlines in calcutta, i got mail and she gave me number to chat in whatsapp and online exam she conducted to me, after that she told me to send documents xerox copies for verification of certificates and aadhar card, passport, pancard. I sent after that she told me to pay processing fees rs.1180/- this was happened in last year november 2018. After that she didn't receive my calls till now i didn't get job.
                              Why these type of mails sent to people and playing with their life's. All are fake. How would be an educated person will get job? We are trusted on ur airlines and like to work in airlines by that blindly we r following what ever u said. But i can't trust anymore on airlines air india jobs.

There is no response from air india call centres... Have written mails to all available mail-ids on air india website however yet to recieve any response from them..... Visited hyderabad air india office, but the reponse was "we cant do anything pls speak to call centre team or write a mail"... Air india please respond to our complaint..

                                    My name is Vishal. I am complaining about two tickets:

                                    1. My wife, Ritu Khandelwal, was going to travel from Kolkata to Delhi by Air India (Reference: Y9YPP) on 13th March 2019.

                                    2. I, Vishal Gossain, was going to travel from Delhi to Bengaluru by Air India (Reference: JWWK0) on 05th March 2019.

                                    Myself, my wife and my five year old son live in Toronto, and were planning to visit India (Delhi) by flying out on 28th Feb by Air Canada flight 42 from Toronto to Delhi. Subsequently, we were planning to visit relatives in Bengaluru and Kolkata. Our Air Canada flight was canceled (I have already shared our cancellation notice from Expedia as proof with Air India). Hence, we could not visit India and therefore, we needed to cancel the Air India flights mentioned above.

                                    Given that the circumstances were out of my control due to the geo-political escalations in India, I requested for a full refund for these flights upon cancellation. However, they applied the full cancelation fees which pretty much resulted in close to 0 refund. Really disappointed as government airlines are acting so unprofessionally. Private airlines such as Indigo provided a full refund to me for my flight (will definitely fly them again - great customer service by Indigo here).

                                    Air India is being unfair to the consumer, which is why I am complaining here.

                                      I was coming back from Del India flight No AI 127 on March29th.
                                      flight was full. Air India crewmembers put the sign on one washroom Default. When I ask one of flight attendant said some thing broken Then I noticed all staf[censored]sing same wash room and I heard noise for flushing .people was waiting on line for two hours to use washroom and tired to stand on line finale I told one of crew member you should not lie to customers wash room is default. I know washroom is working then she wasrudhly arguing with me your responsilabities to keep clean washroom question was they ling to customers .Then when crew members came out from wash room then guy was standing on line he tried to use same washroom then that crewmember told him this is for staf[censored]se. but I let you use but after you use look the door.so I do not under stand why they was lying.they should put sign staf[censored]se only.not only that they did not put food or drink to customer and one of supervisor came and said put food out otherwise I will loose my job, very selfish bad customer service.also people order jain food then they serve ashien veg That's again religion.

                                        I booked my ticket of air india in economy class on date of 2 march 2019 due to some reason i cancelled my ticket of air india pnr no is yc6h0 on the date 2 march 2019 and i sent a email to air india website but after 1 month i could not get my refund my flight was schedule on 2 march 2019 and air india customer care also not pick up the call. I cancel my ticket 5 hour ago from departure time. Air india say refund will get to you 7 working days i am posted also a photo of my ticket which have all data of my flight i request take some action against air india so that my refund back to me earler and all airlines also given return so early even though indigo is giving full refund on cencelletion sir i am also a defence personnel and the month of march all leave are. Cancel because of that we have to cancel my ticket indigo gives full refund to all defence personnel but air india not give some which remains after deduction on gst and their cancellations charges. Air india also have call rate for their customer care service and they not picked up the phone call after half an hour so i could not cancel my return ticker also i think this is cheat for air india customer
