THIS COMPANIES HAVE ZERO HUMANITARIAN CONCERNS and just care about money.
why don't these people understand that emergencies happen to all and can happen to even them and their families tomorrow

I booked a flight for my family on 7th April from India to Abu Dhabi
PNR 5PM1R3
flight was missed by my family .
we had a medical emergency with my nephew having a fall and hitting his head ad having a huge cut just hours before the flight

they had to be in the hospital for medical evaluation, had scans done etc
i have the medical details with me as well

they just did not cater to any of our concerns and just paid 1/5th of my ticket back as cancellation
guys tomorrow this can happen to your families also
this is a genuine concern and with all due respect just refund the one or at least a much better fraction

even to change flights I had to pay extra

WHERE IS THE JUSTICE IN THIS, IS THERE NO CONCERN FOR MEDICAL EMERGECIES AND PEOPLE'S FRAME OF MIND

I will also try and write to the air traffic authorities, airport authorities and the government to express my concern
HUMANITY COMES FIRST, understand it please

    I had cancelled my tickets booked on confirmation number GXH7OL, but have not received the refund amount until date. Travel date was 18th March and cancellation was done on 15th or 16th March. There is absolutely no data on Air India Express website connected to my confirmation number. I need my refund at the earliest.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      This is to bring your kind attention about a recent experience I had faced from the Air India / Etihad ground staff at Abu Dhabi International Airport terminal 1A dated 21 March 2023 night.

      I had booked flight ticket for my son Rajat Krishna as per the PNR H4P73I, Air India Express flight IX-452 on 22 March 2023 time 00:20 am. We had reached the airport terminal on time and completed the check-in process at the counter. During check in process I had enquired the counter staff about the possibility to send the hand bag along with luggage for which she replied that since it is a light flight and hence they cannot send the hand bag with the luggage.

      Once the check in process was completed, we were asked to wait in the queue for emigration gate to get opened. All the passengers had to wait (please note that we had to stand the whole time as the seating capacity in T1A is very limited) for almost one hour before opening the emigration gate. I've noticed that just before the emigration counter, one security staff was cross checking every single hand bags and asking the passengers to remove the excess weight.

      The security staff asked my son to keep his bags in the weighing machine and since it was showing extra weight he told him to remove the excess weight. I had requested the security staff that it could be his ipad/tab that weighs more...so the security asked us to remove the gadgets and weigh again.

      We had moved away from the queue like many other passengers and opened the bag to remove few items, weighed again, it was fine, locked the bags again and my son went in the queue for emigration.

      As I was standing there, holding the removed items in my hand, watching my son moving towards the emigration counter...one male staff approached and enquired..."what happened madam, was it the laptop weighed more". (Please note that I haven’t gone to anyone for any complaint, I didn’t ask any help, I was just quietly standing there.) For his question I replied, "even if it is laptop or not... why is this inconvenience happening to poor passengers?? you had so much time before we reached the emigration gate to cross check the weights and advise us. Either in the check in counter or while we were standing in the queue for almost one hour...any one could come and advise to weigh the hand bag and remove the excess items."

      When I said this the staff got irritated and said...why are you becoming angry at me...what did I do...I’d requested the airport staffs to open the emigration, the delay is happened from airport staffs/process...not because o[censored]s etc etc..

      I replied... see I’m not saying about a particular airways or a particular person. I’m talking about the whole procedure which has caused inconvenience to majority of the passengers. After making them wait ...stand for almost one hour... again giving them trouble near the emigration counter is really frustrating.
      The staff asked me... didn’t the bags were weighed in the check in counter...for which I replied, no...no one checked the weight from the check in counter. however, I had asked the check in staff if hand bag could go along with the luggage for which she replied that since it is a light flight that's not possible.

      Anyways...that male staff left and in few minutes I waved my son bye and I was walking out of the airport. I had almost reached the sliding door...someone called me from behind. When I looked back it was the lady who was there at the check in counter.

      She approached me and started interrogating me with a very bad attitude and arrogance...as if I had done some mistake. The language she used, the negative attitude she possessed is difficult to explain in writing. She started questioning me... “didn’t I tell you that only one bag with 7kg is permitted in the flight?” I replied...no, you didn’t say anything like that...in fact I enquired you about the hand bag. She was like... “even if I didn’t tell you, passenger must know, it is clearly written in the ticket.” I told her... “I’m not asking anyone to give excuse for the extra kilos I have... I’m pointing towards the inconvenience happened for majority of the passengers here. There could be pregnant ladies, old age people, small kids and infants. after waiting in the queue for such a long time...and again getting removed from the queue for excess weight... removing and throwing the things already packed...and going back in the queue all over again is a horrible experience.”

      (When I said I’m not saying anything about any airways…she replied that she is not Air India staff, instead she’s Etihad staff. From her uniform I presume that she is a ground staff of Etihad while the male staff who approached me in the beginning is an Air India Express staff.)

      This lady was not at all listening and she was shouting and treating a customer like me with no respect at all. I told her that we all work in customer focused business or firms... I know how much importance to be given for customer care and satisfaction. For which she said... “on the ground of customer satisfaction, we cannot send your excess weight free of cost”. I got shocked by her statement and replied to her “those are not my words...I haven’t begged or forced anyone to send my excess luggage free of cost. My only point is about checking and confirming all these well in advance.”

      It's shame to let you know that this lady was misbehaving with me, she came all the way and stopped me from going out of the airport terminal only to repeat that I’m mistaken...or I’ve done some big offense and kept on shouting and showing her arrogance on me. At the end she said...”so I want to tell you that…don’t repeat it again” …. and just turned back and walked away.

      I walked out of the airport still wondering why two staffs of a prestigious airport like Abu Dhabi International Airport approached and misbehaved, ill-treated me when I had done nothing but minding my own business.

      Once the emigration and security clearance were completed, my son informed me the same and after that I left and reached my apartment. At 11.55 pm my son messaged me and said…. the lady who was there at the check in counter came and took his boarding pass from him and left. It gave me a real shock and I called him and said…do not worry…. she has no right to keep your boarding pass with her…. she might have taken it for some formality sake…she’ll come back and give you soon.

      To our surprise this lady staff did not give back the boarding pass to my son. Our pressure and panic was increasing every moment…especially when the boy was travelling alone and I had seen the arrogance and attitude of this lady already. However, I continued giving him courage and reassure him that nothing would happen, be relaxed…. if anything is there your parents will handle.

      If this complaint is being read by a parent…he/she must understand the pain and pressure, I had gone through that night.

      This lady staff kept my son’s boarding pass with her even after the boarding had started. I told my son to be in the queue and when my son arrived at the counter around 12.18 am…. she said something again to him about the handbag and gave him the boarding pass. Please note that the flight time was 12.20 am.

      I want to know who gave her permission to take the boarding pass and keep it with her until the passenger reach the counter?? Also as per the SoP, the check in staff should check the weight of hand bags and inform the passenger, this incompetent staff did not follow the SoP and moreover hiding her fault she came behind me to threw her arrogance as if it is her right to behave like that.

      This is the first worst incident happened to us in our 17 yrs o[censored]AE life…. minimum 3, 4 times we travel through this airport in a year... never ever experienced such arrogance and bad attitude from any of the staffs.

      I strongly demand a detailed enquiry about this incident happened to us and take appropriate disciplinary action against the staffs who started the issue, who approached me with negative intentions instead of helping mentality, who judged that I’m not worth enough to pay extra fees for the excess luggage I have, who dealt with us unprofessionally and took the boarding pass from my son and kept it with her making us panicked for a long time.

      CCTV footages can be checked and confirm the authenticity of what I have written above. Also I can come for any meeting to explain my bad experience with the digital proof of the chats I had with my son when his boarding pass was taken from him.

      Expecting a positive response soon and awaiting to receive the notification about the root cause analysis and action points taken on my complaint.

        Dear AirIndia Express Customer Service Team,

        I am writing to file a complaint about the handling of my luggage during a recent flight with your airline. On 1/04/2023, I traveled from Bangaluru to Lucknow on flight number I5 1731 with PNR number IZHHKS. When I arrived at my destination and collected my luggage, I discovered that my suitcase had been broken and all of my belongings were exposed in a plastic bag.

        When I initially checked in my luggage, it was in good condition and properly packed with my belongings secured inside. However, upon receiving my luggage at my destination, it was clear that the suitcase had been mishandled and was now unusable. I was forced to carry my belongings in a plastic bag, which was not only inconvenient but also embarrassing.

        Furthermore, I was made to sign a baggage tag claiming that my suitcase had only "opened" during the flight, but it was clear that the suitcase had been completely broken. I feel that I was unfairly pressured into signing this document, as I did not agree with its contents.

        When I attempted to seek compensation for the damage, I was told that I should have reported the issue before leaving the airport. However, at the time, my suitcase was still intact and it was not until I reached my destination that I discovered the damage.

        I am extremely disappointed in the handling of my luggage and the lack of support from AirIndia Express in resolving this issue. As a loyal customer, I expect better treatment and compensation for the inconvenience and damage caused.

        Therefore, I request that AirIndia Express takes the following actions to resolve this issue:

        1.Provide compensation for the broken suitcase and the inconvenience caused.
        2.Improve the handling of luggage to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
        3.Review your baggage claim process to ensure that customers are not unfairly pressured into signing documents that do not reflect the true
        nature of the damage.
        I have attached photos of the damaged suitcase and the baggage tag for your reference. Please respond promptly to this complaint and let me know how you intend to resolve this issue.

          I was booked flight via online from Trichy to Dubai at March-19. Due to personal issue I was cancelled the ticket on March-17. Here is the confirmed PNR no: CI6AZL. It's more than two weeks now. Still didn't get any info about refund. I contacted customer service, they said this is not a valid PNR. I have attached the sample copy for reference.

                    I had booked a flight ticket from CNN to KWI on 20 January 2023. (Flight No. IX-795)
                    Unfortunately, yesterday afternoon, on 17 January 2023, 64 hours before departure, I received an email from Air India Express informing me that the flight was cancelled and was asked to contact the city office for rebooking.

                    I called Air India Express Kannur City office on [protected] and Air India customer care on [protected] to rebook the next flight from CNN to KWI.

                    I was informed that the next flight is on 27 January 2023 which is 7 days away from the booked date, 20 Jan 2023.
                    However, I do not want to opt for the same, as I will incur financial losses and probably face problems with my job, due to the delay.
                    Further, my visa is expiring on 3 Feb 2023.

                    The second option which was provided was to get a refund for the ticket for which I had paid INR 16, 515.
                    I checked for other flights departing from Kannur Airport and found that Go Air has an early morning flight on 21 January 2023. But the ticket rate is INR 23, 126.
                    This means, I would have to wait for another day and spend an extra amount of INR 6, 899.

                        Hi, I had booked 3 tickets from air India express from Mumbai to Dubai on 1st Jan. PNR QGGSI8 and 6LTE1N. I selected the flight due to timing as I had some important event to visit. When I received the message regarding flight delay of more than 5 hours on 31st December 11pm I was shocked and I kept on calling air India express customer service number may be more than 100times and even sending email back to back but no response. I kept on calling next morning and finally got connected. I requested to proceed with cancellation but they said their system was not updated and they cannot help. I requested for some other number where I can speak to they said they don't have any and I can send email n update them that I'm cancelling. Which I did. Then I requested my booking app ixigo as well to proceed with cancellation. They assured me that since my flight is delayed more than 5 hours I'm eligible for full refund. After 2 days I'm getting a reply stating my cancellation was rejected as there was no show. What kind of service is this? Please advise further how to claim my refund? Or I have to go through proper legal channel?

                            I have booked a flight from MAA to SHJ on 1st Jan 2023.
                            The schedule time is 11.15 but the flight was delayed by more than 3 hrs and there is no proper feedback or update by the team…
                            If your in a hurry or wanted to travel on urgent basis it’s better not to choose to fly with air India as this is a frequent issue with them
                            More than compensation or anything they are wasting passengers time
                            Also they provide in proper information in the portal by mentioning on time departure !
                            More aged passengers and children’s are almost drained and totally frustrated because of the customer support they provide

                              My airline number is: IX194 with PNR: EATIKN. My flight had to depart on 31 December 2022, morning 09:50 Gulf Standard Time (UTC +04) from Dubai, UAE, to reach Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on 15:05 Indian Standard Time. But, now as I reach the airport, it is suddenly delayed by more than 3 hours. Now the same flight is departing on 14:04 Gulf Standard Time, to reach Lucknow by 19:25, which is really frustrating for me as a passenger.

                                    I was traveling from Dubai to calicut on Sunday 3am flight which reached Calicut at morning 8am. I had to wait till 10am for no reason without being intimated that my luggage is missing & it was left in Dubai. When inquired the air india express staff told its mishandled & still in Dubai. Finally after so many follow ups I was given a form in which missing baggage details were filled & assured me that it will be delivered ASAP to my residence. Now its been a day, I didn't even get a courtesy call or message from the Air india express & now when I'm trying to call the given number first no answer & now its switched off. Please assist

                                      My booking in the Air India Express was from Mangalore to Dubai and later to London with different airline connection. During the check in of the Air India Express at Mangalore International Airport, I was denied the boarding pass in the last moment of the flight departure and reason was given that I don’t have the Dubai transit visa. Due to which I could not attend the important company meetings held at London and entire expenses of to and fro of my flight charges to London via Dubai is lost.

                                      However, in the Air India Express it says as United Kingdom travellers or European Union with a minimum validity period of six months need not apply for the transit visa. Therefore my question here is, since I had a valid UK visa for six months, why was I denied boarding the flight at the last moment and created confusions by the Air India Express airline authorities at the Mangalore International airport. They also enquiring whether my next flight was in the night and when I said them that it just 2 hours layover to my next flight, they started creating another story telling that I should have six months duration o[censored]K visa considering from the day of departure of the flight. How would anyone get a UK visa on the day of departure? I think they were making up a story so that I can push my booked tickets to another date for some reason.

                                      When I called the customer support of Air India Express, I was not given any support rather the women responded very rudely. The airline has extremely unsupportive airline staff.
                                      The itinerary details as below:
                                      The flight number is IX383 departure from Mangalore Airport to Dubai International airport on 11 September 2022 at 6:45
                                      The flight number IX814 departure from Dubai International airport to Mangalore Airport on 17 September 2022 at 17.30

                                      The total expense of the flight is about 1165 £ (pounds) equivalent to 107, 515.2 rupees.

                                      Please consider this issue at the earliest and provide the total cost of my flight charges which I lost due to miscommunications by the flight authorities at the airport. Please take the required measures so that no passengers would be troubled so badly at the last moment of the flight departure.
