Good evening. 4 months back I lost my mobile with my prepaid aircel SIM card in it. When I reached aircel store to get the same number, they said only post paid SIM cards are available and they can provide me my same number only in post paid plan. (I know they are using my situation). They provided me my old number[protected] in post paid plan. The aircel store executive asked me to come back after 3 months so that she can migrate from post paid to prepaid. I waited patiently for 3 months and went to aircel store. My headache started from the day I submitted the request form for postpaid to prepaid migration. On 11/11/2016, I submitted the request form and aadhar card Xerox to aircel store senthil nagar near retteri Chennai. The aircel care executive said as it will take 15 days to convert from post paid to prepaid and we cannot tell exact date of migration. She also told me that within 15 days on one day your outgoing will be blocked and then your incoming will be blocked and then one night signal will be cut off in your mobile, then you can understand as you have been migrated from postpaid. her reply was vague and they were not able to tell the exact date. Now Iam waiting for the past 18 days and I am not able to get exact status about my request, when I call customer care 121, they are not able to tell the exact status. They are requesting to go directly to aircel store where I submitted the forms to know the status. It seems we cannot get the status in any other aircel store, they are advising to go only to the store where we submitted our forms. If we go to Aircel store senthil nagar, near retteri Chennai they are taking 30 to 45 mins for completing a customer request. They are very slow.
As of now Iam struggling to know the exact status. Iam not sure when they will migrate my plan from post paid to prepaid. when ever I go to aircel store, senthil nagar near retteri Chennai, I can see around 10 to 15 customers waiting in queue and mostly arguing with the aircel store executives for the pathetic service they are providing. They are very slow and not providing the correct updates for customers. I am planning to better close my Aircel sim card instead of requesting them to migrate from post paid to prepaid. There are many good service providers who value their customers. Aircel please wakeup, In this competitive world if you don't provide good service to your customers, your competitors will provide better service than you and take your valuable customers.

As per system check your balance got deducted RS-52 for CRBT vas service on 01/12/2016 at 17.44.20 pm. Balance refund of RS-52 and service also deactivated as per goodwill gesture. Sir we request to please dial 155223 toll free number for deactivate any VAS service.
