Dear team,

This is about one transaction which got failed on november 20th, 2017 while i was trying to do a recharge of rupees 549 to my airtel number [protected].

Since the transaction got failed, i can expect that the recharge did not reflect to my number but the worst part was the fact that the money got debited from my sbi account as well.

Though i got the same recharge done on the same day via some third party vendor which was successful but still 549 rs. Have not been reflecting back in account which was initiated from my end and till today i have no information about the refund if it will be transferred back to my account or not.

So request you to kindly look into the issue and initiate the refund of the balance either in my airtel wallet or my sbi account number from where the transaction was initiated.

Hoping for a response.

Please let me know if any information is needed from my end.

Dear team,

Any update on the issue since it has been long that the issue has occurred and I have not got any response from any one.

I tried contacting the Airtel via mail id airtel.[protected]@airtel.com, Have got no response from their end as well.

So please let me know if any update is available regarding the issue.

    I recharged their 448 rs. Prepaid plan for my mother's number through paytm today at 9:13 pm.. It showed that payment has been done successfully. But she hasn't received any confirmation sms and no amount has been recharged.
    I have got an operator reference number in the invoice of paytm.
    It is[protected]. Since the complain registration is bit painful on ivr system and i live away from her, it has become a bit complicated process. Also there is nowhere mentioned on the website, how to register complains. Airtel please mend your ways and pay attention to your customers and their satisfaction.

      I have not been able to send sms from my airtel number for over a month now.
      After calling the service center multiple times on 27th nov between 8pm and 10:30 pm, all i got was incomplete and repetitive information.
      With the help of google i was able to find the steps to set the message service centre number but i get this error now : setting interrogation failed.
      The airtel "executives" have no solution and all i do is spend money on taking to customer care. Also, if i ask to talk to a supervisor, i am put on an indefinite hold.
      Apart from the inability of airtel to provide basic services like sms, having a incompetent customer care division who trick customers by putting their calls on hold and ignore them until they hang up by themselves is completely unacceptable.
      I am looking for an immediate resolution of my problem which is due to improper settings provided/made by airtel.

        Sir i want my puk2 code of my airtel no. [protected] which is being used in redmi note3 handset. Sim is registered on the name of ajit kumar jaiswal. Address alamnagar. I am unable to make outgoing calls as fdn is activated on my airtel no.[protected]. To disable fdn puk2 code is needed. Plz send puk2 code on my alternate airtel no. [protected]. Plz send puk2 code as it is necessary to disable fdn to make outgoing calls. Plz send puk2 code of aitel no. [protected] on my alternate airtel no. [protected] as soon as possible. Thanx.

          I hv decided by airtel #ing costumer service abt 448 plan.. They told me of getting unlimited calling n 1gb net.. Today i was not able to call anyone coz i hv been now told that i can use max 300 minutes a day.. I was using jio for a year and airtel for 8 years.. But i saw the difference.. Jio is the best.. Airtel wale madoorchod saare choor hai.. Mujhe bola b nhe gaya ki limit hai calling ka warna main kabhi chokta b nhe airtel walon pe...

            I called your airtel helpline and they tell me that your mobile number [protected] cannot get activate but later i called 59058 and they asked me about my proof and they tell me that your sim get activate in 11days but now i request you to activate my multiple sim number [protected] as soon as possible because my whole day work is depend on internet so please activate my sim fast

            I have lodged a complaint in this forum on 23 nov 2017 regarding excess billing on [protected] (Post paid connection) and also lodged with the nodal officer. [protected]@in. Airtel.com.
            Instead of resolving the grievance, airtel is demanding payment immediately and i am receiving daily calls.
            I am having the correspondence made with airtel since 04 october 2017 which was forwarded to nodal officer today in pdf format.
            I was using only whatsapp at all places wherever wifi is available n have not accepted any incoming calls nor made any outgoing calls. I have switched off the mobile data / cellular data through out my abroad trip. Yet i was charged with abnormal amount and was receiving calls for payment daily.

            Trust airtel will wake up n delete the unnecessary / disputable charges levied and regenerate new bill so that i can dispense off with this post paid connection, which is nothing but robbing the customers

              I have got my new airtel sim card before 3 months but the messages are not coming, as well as the *121# is also not working. Hence i couldn't able to check balance as well as the messages. So i even not able to see the otp password when paying through debit card.

              I have provided this no.in all the important places like banks, college, email id... Pls fix it soon because without this no. I cant do anything and it is difficult for me to change the no.in all respective places where i have provided...

                Iam recently converted vodafone postpaid to airtel. My internet connection was not good. I complained several times to airtel customer care but my problem was not solved. Please do the needful.
                My handset is 4g supported but it shows 2g i. E., e symbol.
                I thought great about airtel comparing to other networks, but when i ported from vodafone i doesn't appearing in services.
                Please maintain airtel standards.

Twice by finger print link to airtel payment bank.

                      I made a complaint about network issue and its been a one month and still m facing an issue. If you are not able to give a better service then why are you asking for bill-payment? We are ready to pay but for better service not for poor and abusive services. Its pathetic and i think you should #officially declare your self as india's one of the worst service provider.

                      I have already filed a complaint about poor service but still, am facing the same.
                      Airtel customer service is also a very lower class. Now I want to port my number to another service provider. But Airtel has rejected my request by saying that u haven't cleared your bill payment. I have already paid my genuine bill amount even then they are like harassing me.
                      Airtel network services have gone worst since July 2018. I give 5 star of their worst services. I made complaint on 21st july for not getting network services but till July 26, nothing has been done except receiving their sms that they wil attend to complaints.
                      WORST HAS GONE THE AIRTEL

                        My name is mukund sharma. I am a serving military officer presently posted to a remote area in rajasthan. Few days before (In september 2017), i had bought an airtel sim [protected] primarily for internet connection so as to do away with frequent switching over of sim from mobile handset to the internet device. I took a regular 6 months pre-paid plan (For an amount of rs. 293/-) for broadband connection. Although i had paid the full amount in advance itself but still my connection was snapped off in an illegitimate manner without citing any valid reasons. I have been running to the dealer shop since last 7 days (Since 20 nov 17) but he also seems to be helpless. After waiting for quite a long time, now i do not have any other option but to resort to filing a written complaint. By virtue of being a responsible officer of the indian military, i am supposed to follow the orders of my superiors in the most befitting manner for which i need to travel very frequently to different places within a short notice of time.in such a situation it is quite difficult to function efficiently without regular telecommunication services.in view of the aforesaid narration your good self is requested to look into the matter and re-instate my internet services at earliest.                             I'm trying to port my number from past 2 months and airtel people are just asking me to pay money for converting my number from postpaid to prepaid. After sending the sms to port the request is rejected from airtel. Now i have to recharge in airtel for 1999 which says unlimited calling for local std roaming but still i'm not able to call roaming numbers other states. When i'm trying to call customer care they are just rejecting my calls. I'm so stuck in this problem please help

                              Hi,

                              This is prakash, phone no. [protected], i have migrated my number from postpaid to prepaid on 25.11.2017, on the same day the my connection was disconnected, nor postpaid sim was working nor prepaid was active, then i took somwones phone and called the cc 198 may times everyone fail to inform that the conservation takes 24 hrs not ever your arc agent has informed me about this, really made things terrible to me.

                              After the migration i had called somany time 198 to know my call rates, no one has informed me about frc, and i recharged for rs.20 as i had to make some urgent call, and now my call rates are very high as because i dint do frc and none of your have informed about frc.

                              Never expected such errors from airtel in 6 years of my connection, really disappointing, regretting being with airtel, insted i have ported out my number to someother operator.

                              Responsible authority's pls take serious action on this and justify the same.

                                I have been talking to airtel from almost 7 months regarding the pathetic network issues. I would have made 100's of calls to customer service to get it resolved, but there was no help at all.

                                Since, i did not get any positive help or response, i stopped using the service abruptly. And, also i had made it clear to them that i will not pay the dues till the issues are resolved.

                                Now that i am no more using their service, i need my full dues, or at least 70% of my due payment to be waived off as a goodwill gesture. I have the call recordings with me to substantiate my problems.

                                  When ask customer care, they are saying its waiting from mnp response.

                                    I took a plan for 2499 last week however i am not happy with the customer service provided by airtel team, i am sorry to say this customer service continous i wil have to ask airtel to take back their iphone and i will stop making any kinds of payments, below is the summary of the whole scene :-

                                    1. End october - i visited newly opened airtel dealer store near noble hospital, beside icici atm bank magarpatta road asking for the details about the onlien story the staff was not user friendly and didn't gave me any details about the online store and asked me to check online as they don't have any details about it.

                                    2. First week nov i raised an online request to buy the phone and visited the same dealer storage again to confirm about the service they gave me all information confirming that my plan and the other child plan will be on unlimited calling plan with 30gb of data to both parent and child.

                                    3. Last week of nov - i was happy after receiving the phone however i had trouble adding the child to my base plan to resolve i visited again the same dealer store to which they gave me very stupid information, my child number is already an airtel postpaid number [protected], the person on front desk asked me to make the number to prepaid and then perform the port in and then they will make the number as postpaid then only my secondary number will be active with the unlimited plan, the whole idea sounded very incorrect to me that why being a customer i had to go through so many hassels,

                                    4. The same day on 21st nov i called the call center to which the person who attended the call was very soft spoken and helped me in adding the secondary number to the plan, i thought all my issues are resolved here bu the story of confusions with 2499 plan did int stopped here.

                                    5. 27th nov - my wife checked her plan in my airtel app and she saw that she is under 299 plan to which she was surprised and she called up csr again this time again csr misguided her and told her that she is under 299 plan and inspite of being my child she will be only provided with 1gb data per month and she will be charged for the outgoing, common you gotta be kidding me, so much of confusions.

                                    6. 27th nov - i again called up the csr and this time lady confirmed me that both the parent and child are underlimited calling plan and 30gb of data per month,

                                    Are you really kidding me for the person who will be paying 65k to airtel in two years has to go with so many hassels just to have an iphone, better would be i would have continued as vodafone customer and bought an iphone from amazon for 40k.

                                      Airtel is now becoming india's slowest network. They are not providing internet speed properly & also not providing services like a pro. On, 18th of september, 2017 sayan complained to airtel customer care (198) regarding slow internet speed. The executive asked him to wait for 48 to 72 hrs, and the internet speed will be increased. Meanwhile he was receiving 400 kbps (Approx) in 4g, where as a 4g internet connection means the transfer rate must be atleast 21 mbps. After 4 days after complain, he called 198 again, but got the same message to wait for 48 to 72 hours. Contacted again and again and again, but same messages he received from the executives. Later on 1st november, 2017, he called up again as usual, but the executive frankly told sayan, to port to other operator. Yes, you read the right thing. He still trusted airtel and continued with the connection and called again and again. Sayan was using 776 inr plan [649 inr (Unlimited calls, 100 sms/month, 7gb slow speed 4g internet, internal taxes, useless excuses charges, etc)+ 18% gst]. Indian service no. Call charges + over sms charges extra.

                                      On, 26th nov, 2017, sayan finaly decided to change the no. From airtel to jio (Not so good, but much better and genuine than airtel). The executive was a woman. He asked her regarding porting to other operator, but she told some offers. He will be receiving 30 gb instead of 7 gb [per month in the same plan per month. Sayan replied, "i will be checking for today. If the internet speed, i will stay in airtel, else will shift to other operator". So she told that the same will be activated within a half hour.

                                      But, after an hour past, sayan went out and tried to connect to airtel internet, but was not connecting. Complained regarding this the same day at 9:30 pm. The executive don't know anything.

                                      Executive - he first told that a complain is already registered regarding this and will be fixed in 48 hours (Same old excuse).
                                      Executive - then he told you don't have data.
                                      Sayan - but data pack was there. Around 1.4 gb, and the same is still available.
                                      Executive - then your new plan is not yet activated. He took a complain and mentioned the same excuse.

                                      Around 2 am, sayan again contacted 198 for the same, but received the same excuses, with full of anger.

                                      Contacted on 27th nov, 2017, and received the same excuse. Even when sayan again asked to port to another no., executive replied, "you have to pay the full bill in pro data basis including current usage". But why? Why i will pay the bills all the time? You are not providing the proper service and now you are asking to pay the bill? Shameless. And why will i pay the usage of 26th nov, the whole day the internet was not working!!

                                      Airtel, if you can't provide a service properly, then please stop it. But, at least don't harass people of india with these fake excuses. Airtel is now india's slowest network. They are cheaters and no. 1 fraud company. Simply leave india, its my request.

                                      Yet about 2 years, there is no update from Airtel, what the hell is wrong with the consumer forum?
