I ported my prepaid number +91-[protected] from Aircel to Airtel using my Adhaar Card. I got the welcome sms from airtel. Since morning my aircel number shows SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED and when I inserted SIM Card received from Airtel the same problem SIM Registration Failed.

    Hi,
    I have done recharge of 399 rs on my airtel number [protected] (Prepaid, chennai, tn) on 5 aug 2017 which give me unlimited local + std calls plus 1 gb 4g data for 84 days. By this mean, my plan should expire on 27 oct 2017.
    But on 23 sep, i got message from airtel alerts saying that recharge your phone because your validity of special plan is going to expire in two days.
    I am attaching the screenshot of my plan and message as well.
    Kindly take action asap.

      As there was 'no service" in my house since 19/07/2017, the day of my porting my mobile, airtel engineer, mr. Ravi verman, visited my house at b -55 sector 26, noida & he recommended for installation of booster in my house (As there was almost no signal). Thereafter, i contacted their nodal office on 25 th july & was informed that the needful would be done in 3-4 days... Since then, i have been enquiring the fate of installation on their 121 / 198 customer care numbers & also with their nodal office but all in vain. Thereafter, almost on daily basis, i have been lodging complaints & sending sms / emails to their senior officials. It is highly unacceptable to note that all the complaints are being closed on weekly basis without providing any resolution. I have on record more than 35 mails sent to their various offices & further regret to note that now they have now stopped even sending m the acknowledgments, as per their system. Sch a pathetic state of customer care even after lapse of 65days speaks of detoriating services at airtel.. Will someoneat airtel look into?

        Dear sir,
        Kindly look into the below mentioned issue which i am facing and it can be developed as a question mark in security of airtel and hope an action will be taken on it as early as possible.

        On 16th sep i received below mentioned sms in my official mobile no. [protected]
        "bill of rs 532, dated 27-aug-17 for airtel no. [protected] is due on 14-sep-17. Pls pay ontime to avoid late fee. Payment options: a) payments bank in my airtel app: www.airtel.in/5/coll b) airtel store:sms store to 121. Pls ignore if paid"

        I shocked because the number which is mentioned in sms is not belongs to me. I called 121 through my data card no. 7710xxxxxx and explained to airtel customer care personal about this issue. They said that is a data card number and the name mentioned in that number is "giridhar nair" and email id and mobile number is "[protected]@outlook.com" and "9820xxxxxx" (Email id and mobile number is belongs to me) and address is in mulund. Also said to go to nearest customer care and raise a complaint.

        Based on that i went to my nearest airtel office in wagle nagar, khadakpada, kalyan and i raised a complaint. Till date i have not received any reply from your end and i am getting calls for payment also.

        Please note that
        Already i have an airtel data card number (77100xxxxx). You can check my payment status. Till date i have paid all the dues promptly. So i have not required one more data card.

        I am staying in khadakpada, kalyan not in mulund
        Somebody is using my email id and mobile number. - how can anybody can use my number and email id for taking your connection.

        My suggestion :- at the time of activation of a sim there is an activation alert or otp send to mobile number and email id then this type of problems will not develop again.

        Sir, this is a serious issue, kindly look into this matter and resolve this issue as early as possible

        Airtel Customer Support Manager contacted and all details discussed about my issue. He said sorry for the issue i faced. He resolved the issue and informed me verbally and through mail. After that i have not received any bills or calls. Also he assured me that company has taken preventive action and same type of issue will not come again with any of the customers.

            I could not able to link Adhar number because one time password is not received.
            I am not getting any messages after Mobile recharges and no messages from airtel.

                I lost my phone (My no is [protected]) on 20th sep.2017 and took new sim (Old sim blocked) and recieved a email from airtel at 11.00 am on 21st sept ([protected]@in. Airtel.com) that sim would be activated by 03.00pm and sms services would be activated after 24 hrs i. E 11.00 am on 22nd sept. Nothing happened 22nd went, 23rd went and now on 24th sept also the sms services are not activated. This is creating a huge problem as all my bank accounts are linked with this mobile no and iam not able to do any transactions due to sms (Otp). I wrote 04 emails to airtel but no reply from there side and called 121 3-4 times but in vain., iam surprised by the service level of airtel which i thought was good. Really poor service and pathetic response, god save people from such service.

                  Dear all,

                  I was airtel postpaid customer with a monthly bill plan of 500₹. Their services are worst so i ported to jio. After 7 days of porting procedure jio sim got activated. Now i m getting calls from airtel billing department saying that i should pay airtel bill of 2000₹ which is included with september bill. I told them i disconnected from their services completely on 27th august how can they generate bill for september which is not under their services anymore. I have all the proofs and recorded all the conversations i had with airtel customer support.
                  Please help me with your suggestions. Should i consult a lawyer regarding this. Because they are blackmailing me everyday by calling me and warning me that they will send a legal notice through court. I really don't deserve this. I really didn't subscribed for any additional services or data plans. I am educated, well aware of service activations and there is no mistakes at all from my end. I am sure that they just generated fake bills and trying to blackmail.
                  Today it happened to me tomorrow another person. They will try to loot many more innocents.
                  So please suggest me how i can defend myself. And how to teach them a lesson for cheating us. I never seen this much big cheating scam company in my whole life.
                  I am completely under jio services from august 27th. But this airtel girls are asking me bill for september month which made me completely insane.
                  Hope my explanation above is understandable.

                    The airtel # i. E the network team are just giving calls on my number just to check my temper instead of solving the network problems. Airtel has got a big setback from reliance still they don't bother to solve network problems. The appellate officer is just made so that customer service representative can make an escape for solving the problem. My network complaint is pending from the last 3 months still they have the same reason we are working on it that's it. I wish the consumer court that they should make airtel to install a booster at my location in titwala at my residence.

                      My transaction no.[protected] (23/09/2017). Balance debited from my payment bank account but balance not credited to my account of rupees 2000. They told transaction successful but in transaction history it shows your upi transaction failed. (Upi transaction no.[protected]. When i trying to connect with customer care they talk to me very badly, they have no manner how to talk with a customer, and they cut the connection.
                      Shame thing happened with me... What to do?
                      My account balance has been debited my account in 150rs.I don't any transfer for any balance in beneficiary account but airtel payment bank account has been debited my account balance 150rs. Please my balanced resend to my airtel payment bank account .

                        After 9 days of complaint also no action from the team and it really seems they don't care much about customer experience. Every time they will say a new story when we contact their customer care.

                        I am using airtel mobile from 11 years, but never expected they are this much arrogant with the customers.

                            While recharging on paytm, i entered the wrong number and recharged 399. On querying paytm, it said to contact operator with the operator reference number (Transaction id mentioned below). Please help me reverse the amount.                               Sir i had recharged my mobile number [protected] @ rs.399/ offer having unlimited voice calling and data for 84 days the date of recharge was 21/08/2017 but now there is no voice calls from this number please do the needful. And offers show that validity was 84 days, now total days from recharged date is 34 days only. What is ilthe problem in this kindly do the needful.

                                This is for airtel post paid number [protected]. Our alternate contact number is [protected].
                                Problem: i have duplicate sim (Because my old sim is lost). After verifying the biometric the store staff told it will get activated in 4 hours. Even after waiting another day it was not activated. We contacted the customer care but but only to be advised to visit the store again. We visited multiple times still problem not solved. We got another sim from ananthnagar store, again it was not activated, we have given paper based (Aadhar copy and photo), still not activated. It's been 14 days since we gave the first request and changed multiple sims, and visited store multiple times and called customer care multiple times. Still problem not rectified. Raised 2 complaints with complaint number [protected].
                                I am very frustrated and mentally very disturbed by this.

                                  I needed to port my airtel connection from airtel to idea due to corporate limitations however the customer care executive was rigid saying the porting of number isn't possible and used foul languages.

                                  No body seems to be bothered and concerned about customers sentiment and value prepositions. Such service support from an iconic brand and promising organizations isn't acceptable & cant be imagined.

                                  Looking forward for your support in getting the potability operational and getting process intact thus the incidences isnt repeated with other customer

                                    I availed the post paid (Bill base) service from airtel. Their first bill for rs 200 something arrived. I found it costly i request them for cancel and convert it to prepaid (Coupon system) but they don't adhere.in the meantime their next bill arrived. Then i personally visited and contact to their district center, janak puri new delhi-58 service center and ask them to cancel this service. It was their submission this service can't cancel without completion of 100 days. Then they disconnected outgoing services from my sim no.[protected]. After few days, they ask me submit 850/- rupees bill despite the fact that outgoing services were already disconnected by them. After few days they blocked above noted sim due to which neither any incoming call nor any outgoing calls are receiving.
                                    Due to them customer is suffering from every point of view. If customer is asking to cancel their bill based service, they are not agree, bills are raising one sidedly without use of services which is openly looting of customer.

                                    I availed bill based service of airtel for sim no.[protected]. Their first bill arrived for rs.250/-. I found it very costly. I ask them for cancel. They don't adhere.in the meantime next bill was arrived. Then i personally contact them at their janak puri new delhi service centre and ask them for cancellation of bill based and collect their two bill. They said their net is down pay somewhere else. As far as cancellation of bill base service is concerned it will closed only after 100 days. Thereafter they disconnected by outgoing services from above noted sim.
                                    After few days they made third bill of rs.850/- despite the fact that outgoing services were already stopped. Even a single call was not made from this above noted sim. After few days they blocked this sim due to which neither outgoing call nor incoming calls are received.
                                    Hence the company is openly looting to customer. If he is asking to cancel bill base service, they are unable. Prejudicially and one sidedly making bill without any basis.

                                        I have been with airtel for close to 10 years. Off late, i am getting bills that do not justify my usage.

                                        And, when i go to airtel store, i was told that the server is down. Can someone believe server being down and not having any back strategy while having crores of customers?

                                        Every business typically will have backup servers. And it is crazy for airtel not to have any kind of back up services.

                                        Why are you duping the customers? Are you expecting people to roam around your stores? Don't you think they would be busy too like you?
