Hello team,

I went to dubai on 25th feb'17 for some official training and before going to dubai, wanted to activate international roaming on my phone number. I tried to contact airtel customer care team on 24th feb, twice or thrice but could go through their ivr as it wasn't providing any option to contact customer care team. Then i tried to contact them again on 25th feb before boarding my flight from delhi but same response from their ivr system and so could not go through. I was sure that as i haven't request for activation of any international roaming services, so my number will not get activated in dubai. But to surprise when i landed in dubai, my phone which was on automatic network selection, had selected the service provider of dubai and some how consumed 100 mb at one go. At the same time; i received a message from airtel that to contact on their international toll free number, which i tried to contact thrice but again i had to go through the same ivr menu which did not let me go through to contact customer care. I even tried to activate the plan on their website but after filling all the information; got a message from the website that number is not correct. After that i got busy with my official training. I came back on 3rd march and on the same day dropped an email to airtel team to charge me as per their international roaming plan but did not receive any response from them instead received the reply after 10 days when my bill was generated for approx. 98000/-. I provided them all the proofs that i tried to contact their customer care team and also i tried to activate the plan but could not go through.
Then i asked them a simple question that if i did not request for any international roaming then how come my number got activated and registered with the international service provider. And they said that i got it activated in 2011 but when i searched the communication with them in 2011, it was only for std and isd services activation and no where i had requested for any basic international roaming services pack, airtel had activated it on their own without informing me. I have provided airtel the communication which i had with them in 2011 but they are completely ignoring it.

I have asked this question to multiple teams and multiple people in airtel and no body is answering it. I have all the proofs that i never requested for it and because of airtel fault, they are asking me to pay rs. 97000/-
Airtel has stopped the outgoing services long time back and they are going to stop incoming services too and above that they are forcing me that i'll have to pay these charges in any case.

Also to my surprise, after asking this question again and again; their appellate team member said that both isd and international roaming services plan is same. I said what? And provided them the link of their website which clearly defines the difference between isd and international roaming.

With no hope left i am writing here by asking the same question again that did i request for any basic international roaming services pack in 2011? If no then why i am liable to pay these charges. Even though i am ready to pay their maximum international roaming plan charges of around 4000 + taxes but airtel is not agreeing to it.

      Big Cheating, I got offers from Airtel Recharge with 399 and I'll get Unlimited local + Std calls with 1 GB data/day for 70 days, I recharged 18th April and now today 16th May My Services stop, only 28 days it's worked. Airtel Customer service says we can't do anything.

            Airtel took new subscription by giving false promise of providing new fibreoptic plan to existing broadband plan holder at no additional cost but a free new landline instrument.
            No free instrument provided. Charged Rs. 1000 as activation fee. Since Mar'17 following up but not ready to refund activation fee. In spite to writing several emails to appellate authority giving contact detail and name of Airtel rep. Only dragging and harassing .

With Rs 40 but immediately thereafter my balance was deducted with a message that international roaming charges are being deducted even though neither did I apply for it not did I move on any international trip. It further says that a balance of Rs 75 will be deducted later. I want an explanation for the same or a refund of the deducted amount.

                This is regarding my mobile number [protected] for which I believe I have been over billed for my current billing cycle of April'11-to-May'10. Basically I had gone out of India to Singapore and had activated Int'l roaming pack for INR 150/- through "myairtel app" post which no options were shown in the app that I need to subscribe additional packets for roaming AND neither did anyone bother from Airtel to call back and guide me for the Int'l roaming service.

                I have been now billed for INR 5, 166/- which I request to be waived and charge as per my monthly billing plan.

                My submission is if the company is so customer oriented... than why didn't anyone call from customer support post activation of Int'l roaming pack and check that still customer hasn't subscribed to any Int'l roaming pack... let us call the customer and accordingly guided myself that post activation, I as a customer need to subscribe to Int'l roaming packs. I would have willingly agreed.

                It seems Airtel is least bothered to understand that the fault is from there side and just giving same replies without any concrete resolution of accepting their fault and waiving off the entire amount despite the fact I have 7 connections with them and paying around INR 4, 000/- as monthly payments.

                      I keep getting calls from Airtel that there is an amount pending on my broadband bill after I terminated their broadband connection. They cannot give me any details and ask me to visit a customer care center. I've called customer care multiple times and every time they have confirmed that there is nothing pending on my account. It seems there is either fictitious billing on my account.

                      Any number of details provided to them and complaints raised with customer care do not help. The calls just won't stop. I am literally very angry with this company

                        Sir,

                        I was facing issue since long time regards to airtel data recharge 548. On 2may 2017 i had done my recharge for data pack of 548 rs by airtel app and it was fail due to some error in airtel app. After this i called customer care and they suggested to do another recharge and amount of previous transaction will be get credited in next 7-10 days. I had done second recharge and it was successful but now today i called airtel customer care they are denying by stating that no recharge has been done and that's why they can't process refund. Even call center guy (Sonu kumar) denied for raising sr request and had placed my phone on hold by saying senior is busy.
                        Now i am feeling helpless and deducted amount is still not credited back. Please help!!!

                          I have got the offer from airtel that on the recharge of rs. 244/- i will get 1 gb data per day and local airtel to airtel calling for 70 days on my number but after recharging with said amount the customer care executive said the offer valid only for 4g handset but at the time of giving offer for my no. It was not specify and operateor always known about the handset in use.

                                Hi,

                                I recharged my airtel prepaid number on 14th April 2017, on that day Airtel was offering unlimited calls and 1.5GB per day for 70days. After recharge air was charging me for all voice calls and recently I realized that I am not getting 3G/4G data after 28 days. I complained the issue by calling airtel customer care and I also raised the issue on their website but airtel completely ignoring my complaint.

                                If airtel is providing only the data for 28 days why would I recharge with Rs.399? I completely dissatisfied with your service. If you can't promised services why do you advertise in media and then cheat customers.

                                Airtel Customer Care & Rakesh, are you guys sleeping 24x7 and leaving everything to IVR.

                                It has been more than a month and you are not able to resolve the issue. Is this same way you deal all customers by adding a comment that our customer service called you and you didn't answer our call. That's completely fake and irresponsible.

                                Can anyone suggest how to get the money back form these ######. It looks like a small amount and not worth chasing all these guys, but it's cheating.

                                Recharge txn id[protected]. The offer was 70 days of 1 gb/day data. Today is 21 june and my last recharge with above transaction id was on 2nd june. Can you please explain how do you calculate days? because you are bloody charging for my data and there is no call balance. You are cheating airtel.

                                I recharged my airtel with the 399 pack which has a validity of 84 days with unlimited calls and 1 GB/day. It's been 2 days since my recharge and all I could use was 1 GB for the past two days. Please do something about it or refund my money.

                                AIrtel is the biggest liar among all the telecom companies in india.
                                They told me that I will get 1gb per day for 84 days. But i got only 1.2gb once then nothing happened next day.
                                They also cut 29 Rs. from my account the next day when I tried using Internet.
                                Give me my money back cheaters.
                                I dont recommend anyone to buy ur sim.
                                I contacted your customer care but nothing happened. They said that we are processing info about my account but never replied.
                                My family had 3 airtel sims, we stopped using them all.
                                Take it in ur ### u cheaters.
                                I have recharged my airtel number today with Rs 399 with reference to the advt made by Airtel in public that we would be receiving 1gb data per day and free calls for 84 days with this plan. But, i have received a sms informing me of this plan to be valid for 28 days. This is a complete error on part of Airtel, and I want either my money back or my plan valid for 84 days. Please stop providing false advertisements and harassing customers by such activities. I need this issue to be resolved ASAP.
                                I have a 4g phone even airtel 4g sim but still the 399 plan for 84 days is not showing on my phone. Please resolve the issue.

                                Actually 399 offer is not available to all airtel costumers.. Dial *121*1#, if this offer list contains 399 pack, then only u will get proper benefits otherwise u will get sam benefits as 349 pack
                                I recharged with 399 on 23/10/2017. As per offer declared the validity is for 70 days. But in my SMS it is given only 28 days validity. I want clarification on this.My contact numbers are–[protected] and [protected].I want data only 1 GB/day not 3g/day.please correct my plan.

                                    I like to use airtel broadband services other than local networks, but airtel service is not. Applied the customer satisfaction. I applied to airtel braodband they failed to give connection and they ahven't refund my amount also which i paid for activation, it is almost more than 15 days i haven't get my amount. Applied refund through airtelrefund, no status about that yet. Horrible customer service, if we delay one day to paid bill they will fine 100 inr but they are not giving for our amount. Shame on you airtel. Failed to give connection and to refund my amount also

                                      10 days earlier an airtel executive called me and told me that we have an offer on your number which for 499 in which you will get 23gb 4g data and unlimited calling for a month for lifetime. After i ported my number they are saying that the offer is not applicable anymore. They made me port my number from vodafone to airtel under false pretenses, so i want you guys to take some strict actions so that they should stop making fool of customers and stop doing such frauds.

                                        I have done recharge today of Rs. 345/- misunderstanding the plan detail. For this pls suggest me the necessary step i want my plan as unlimited calling with one GB data.
