I recently switched from airtel 3G to airtel 4G sim. My mobile device is moto G4+ which do support 4G networks. But this new sim never catches 4G networks (not even from delhi to noida). I have a 4G airtel dongle if I put sim of that dongle into my phone, it gets 4G network but not the s which I got converted from 3G to 4G. This is very bad, didn't expect this from AIRTEL. I might just switch to some other network if they're not gonna resolve my problem. I even checked in the my airtel app the newtork coverage in my area it says around 187 3G/4G tower in my area but this sim won't get any 4G network.

    I am presently at Brno, Czech Republic for work. My mobile had been recharged with the Airtel international roaming pack of Rs. 2, 999. This pack is supposed to remain valid for 10 days, with unlimited incoming calls, 3GB free data, 250 minutes of outgoing calls to India and local, and 100 SMSs. The count of ten days started when I called home for a few minutes from Munich, on 2nd May, morning. However, after I reached Brno I could never call home as an automatic voice informed me that I was not entitled to do so. I could only receive calls from home.

    My father lives in Kolkata. He brought this into Airtel's notice. They said it would be resolved by 9th or 10th (by this time my 10 day validity would be nearly over). On 9th Airtel called me from a number and verified whether we had made a complaint or not. However, soon after the call disconnected, and I found that they had deducted Rs. 100 for the 1 minute long incoming call from airtel itself. After that it showed that I had only Rs. 11 balance left. This is a clear scam of Rs. 3000, and Airtel should be ashamed of the harassment it has caused me and my family. I hereby demand that Airtel return my Rs. 2999 immediately.

      Because i dont any international call any sms and any services so why deducted my balance and i am calling 2 local call with in deducted balance period on 12/05/2017 at least time 7.25 pm. Please tell me reason and i have already complain to the airtel company but there is no response my complaint my complain no. Id status 1568077 and my mobile no.[protected]

          I got a message from airtel that in Rs.899 they are offering Local+STD+Roaming+2GB 4gHS /day for 56 days.

          When I recharged it after a few days with Rs.899/- they provided me ewith just 3GB 3g and 3GB 4g data for 28 days.

          When I reached Customer Care that i refund or change my plan to Rs.999/- they said no refund or plan change can be done now, this offer was not active on your number and we cannot help you.

          I am from rajasthan and got connected with Customer Executive Mr. Vikram singh from chandigarh, he refused to do any refund or change my plan.
          When i asked that I want to connect with higher authority he said no one is avaliable in the office right now.

          I feel cheated and regret of still using Airtel.

                Hi team,

                I am being using air-tel postpaid ([protected]) connection from last 4-5 years without any issue but in jan-2017 i am changing postpaid to prepaid services.
                Still my no is showing "please enter a valid airtel prepaid number" due to this i am not able to recharge my mobile through online and now couple of days i am greeting voice message "my mobile on grace period"

                I continuously followup to air-tel customer care and i personally visited to air-tel center but they are not giving me proper solution.

                  I have recharged on 15/04/2017 with an offer o[censored]nlimited std, local and 70 gb for 70day's, recharged amount rs 399/-
                  But airtel not providing this offer to 70 days, they cut for 28 days. Airtel betrayal the common people.
                  Airtel promised to give 70 days. But after collecting money they not providing the same as they mentioned...
                  For me rs.399 is not huge amount but airtel make me betrayaled...
                  Airtel should understand, if not their goodwill goes down and people will say bye bye to airtel...

                    It has been more than 48 hours and the sim still hasnt been upgraded.
                    I have been carrying the other sim for more than 2 days and I have no clue to when will the sim will be upgraded.
                    Its so irritating and irresponsible on your part. At least you should do what you promise. I bought the sim on 9th, the retailer wasn't able to send the message due to lack of knowledge, then after a day he called someone else and then sent the msg. Airtel sent me a message regarding the upgrade of 3G sim to 4G and that it will be upgraded in the next 24 hours. I have been traveling and have to carry the new sim around with me. It has been 50 hours and it still hasn't been activated.
                    Please help me ASAP.
                    NOT AT ALL HAPPY WITH YOUR SERVICE.

                        I had an airtel sim which was already a 4g sim (It was written 4g on the sim). But in the airtel self care website, it showed that handset is 4g but sim is not 4g enabled. Hence i went to airtel office and got sim swapped. After that the phone never showed 4g network (Lte). Previously it used to show lte while using internet. So i complained on 121 twice (Ref. No is cgpsc[protected]). But it was of no use they give a date but even after a long time passes after complaining, they say it is still in process. Then i went to aitrel office twice, there they wrote some mail and told me problem will get solved in 24 hrs but nothing happened. Then i got sim swapped again but still i am not getting 4g.                         Some one contacted me from customer care and said "your problem will get resolved in 30 mins". Then I got a message: your 3G service will be activated in 30 mins. later I got a message "your flash service is stopped" and nothing happened. I was complaining about 4g service in the first place.
                        Please solve this asap. I will not recharge until its resolved

                        Lame that I see this post as resolved now.

                          Dear customer care,

                          I have been repeatedly charged for services activated in my sim for which i have no clue when and how it has got activated.
                          I also changed my airtel number last week and it has not been even one week that i have started using new airtel number [protected], last thursday i activated my new sim for 200 and today the balance is 42.

                          On last friday i was charged for 42 for some service, saturday and sunday for next gen tv 125/- cut from my balance.
                          I went to airtel office near my place and have stopped all the services activated in my sim but the very next 2 consecutive days similar things have occurred.

                          This is not only happening in my new sim but also in my last airtel sim same thing has occurred. I also did but get the recharge done for the sim [protected]. So i changed my sim and even then this issue is not stopping.

                          This issue is not at all stopping. Again today also may 12th 2017 also a service called 'midnight masala' got activated and rs 99/- was cut from my balance.

                          What is the issue? Why is this happening? Is there a solution to this. Inspite of informing this issue to customer care this issue is not at all resolved. The moment i use the net pack, i get a message that some xyz service is activated for which i money is cut from my balance.

                          Kindly provide me the lost money to my number [protected].

                          Airtel don't do these cheap moves to get money from your customers otherwise the remaining will switch to other carriers I bee also encounter the same problem and if it wI'll continue I'm gonna switch to jeo.

                                I, T Srinivasa Bhushanam, have one dish TV connection and one airtel Post paid connection. These details I have registered in my Airtel registered ID. But I don't know one Mr Sikandar Sayyad's dish TV (Consumer ID : [protected]) were included in my Airtel registered ID. Further, in his Consumer ID details my mobile Number ([protected]) was included. It is creating lot of inconvenience to me. All his updates are coming to my mobile number. I have complained lot of times to Airtel people. But they are not responding.
                                Please arrange to delete his Consumer ID from my Airtel registered iD, and delete my mobile number from his Dish TV consumer ID details.

                                  In connection with the subject cited above, I am Sunil Kumar from VPO Daiyar Tehsil & Distt. Fatehabad (Haryana). My four (4) airtel postpaid connection is[protected],[protected],[protected] & last 5 years airtel mobile service use.

                                  My concern is indoor (home) location network coverage issue face from
                                  last 2 years. Mobile screen showing network signal (1-2) is very low.
                                  In this poor network condition customer to call drop & voice echo
                                  issue face.

                                  Regarding this issue many times complain to Customer care. But till
                                  date no solution my complain.
                                  Please request sir/madam checks my complaint properly and solves my
                                  problem purity base earliest as possible.

                                    I had free calls until the first three days... But m being charged for my call aftr 4 days... Since i activited the service... If i hd to get chared fr my calls i would have recharged my number normally and used. I try to call the customer care executive but i can really find any link anywre.                                         I have been using airtel for 20 years, my number is [protected].
                                        I recently recharged with 349 on 10th.may.2017 from my airtel app. I am supposed to get unlimited local/STD calls for 28 days. i'm being charged for STD calls now( I am not in roaming).
                                        I feel i am being CHEATED by airtel. and Internet doesn't work on 3G.
                                        Customer care is pathetic, as it never connects me to an executive.worst part is IVR only speaks in Hind, all the time.

                                        I am fed up with airtel.
                                        Happy to migrate.
