Sir /madam
I am vijaya varshan K .I am using Airtel prepaid sim . My mobile no is--[protected] . I have recharged my no for Rs.1029 .00/- on 11th Sep, 2024 through Airtelmobile App . However OTP dialog box was displayed in the Airtel mobile APP. The purpose of the OTP was concealed behind the OTP dialog box . It made me to understand that OTP was the procedure to complete the Prepaid recharge . After Submitting the OTP I was to see that My Prepaid sim is been changed to POST PAID SIM .
I have contacted the airtel customer care and seeked their support to change the postpaid plan to Prepaid plan along with my recharge amount
Rs.1029 .00/- .MYairtel complaint no --SR[protected] . The Airtel customer care person assured that the SIM shall be changed to PREPAID within 48 hours, but the information about the recharged amount was not provided to me . Now the Airtel team is refusing to refund my recharged amount to my account .
I request to provide justice in this regard by refund my recharge amount 1029.00/- immidiately .
I have enclosed my Rechagre paid receipt for your reference .

    Airtel wifi is not working properly. Despite of of multiple complaints, they try to resolve only via online and cleverly they do no raise any ticket.

    not sure how tele caller will resolve the issue remotely when the router or other hardware of very bad quality. I could get wifi within 10 feet from the router.

      Dear Team,
      It is a matter complete misrepresentation from your honored Wi-Fi Team. I have applied for relocating my Wi-Fi from U.P. to Delhi on 29th August, 2024. It is a matter of fact that you are unable to comply with the services that you promise with your customers. With utmost regards, I'm filing a consumer complaint regarding my issue. It will be deemed that you've failed on part and procrastinating it everyday since 15 days. The Wi-Fi subscription was prepaid for 6 months. I no more rely upon your shallow service. My money is not looted but earned. Please initiate my refund or install a new Wi-Fi as you can't compensate to my time wasted everyday to file my complaints and loss which i incurred.

        I have been using Airtel since 2016, and my father has been using it since 2010. However, in recent times, Airtel's service has been declining, and the customer care representatives act as if they own the company. In my location, the 5G network is not available. I raised a complaint about this three months ago, but it has not been resolved. Today, on September 11, 2024, at around 11:15 AM, I called customer care, and the representative's behavior was terrible; he even disconnected the call abruptly. I would like to raise a complaint against Airtel for false advertising, and their customer service is consistently unhelpful whenever I face issues.

          I had requested for a disconnection / termination of my WIFI connection "[protected]" on July 1st 2024, The account on that date had a credit balance of Rs.475 + . Airtel instead of processing my request for disconnection has placed my account in safe custody & charged me "safe custody charges" ( I was not informed of the safe custody charges by their retention team. ) This neutralized the credit balance in my WIFI account and created a debit balance. On pointing out the same they issued a credit of Rs.400+ to my account but again charged me safe custody charges and created a negative balance on the account.
          This cycle is being repeated repeatedly and I am being harassed with collection calls. Airtel is not acting on the request to disconnect my connection and refund the credit balance of Rs.475+ as on the date of the first disconnection request.
          The calls made to Airtel customer service requesting for the disconnection are as follows:
          1. July 1st 2024 at 8:49 AM
          2. July 12th 2024 2 calls at 13:15hrs & 13:09 hours.
          3. July 28th 2024 at 11:32 AM
          4. August 6th 2024 at 18:22 hrs & 18:53 hrs - 2 calls.
          5.August 9th 2 calls at 8:52 Am and again at 8:50 AM.
          6. August 27th at 18:07 hrs
          7. August 31st at 11:28 AM and again today
          8. September 6th 2024 atat 12:44 PM.

          This only reflective of the company's (AIRTEL) attitude towards customer complaints and their lack of a robust complaint handling procedure. It is sheer lack of empathy for the customer. Please investigate and have the company address my concerns and also award a suitable compensation for the harassment being caused by the company (Airtel).

            **Complaint Summary:**

            I, Dr. Pramod Kulkarni, am filing this complaint against Airtel regarding misleading sales information, incorrect billing, abrupt service disconnection, and, most importantly, the complete lack of communication from Airtel regarding these issues. My Airtel Air Fiber account is registered under the name Atharva Pramod Kulkarni, with the following details:

            - **Airtel Air Fiber Account Number:**[protected]
            - **5G SIM Number:** [protected] (supposed to be activated for the Air Fiber account)
            - **Bill Number:** MF2527L[protected]

            ### **Key Issues:**

            1. **Misleading Sales Information:**
            - Airtel's sales executive, Mr. Kuldeep Dubal, assured me that the Air Fiber service would include a landline connection, which was not provided upon installation on **1st August 2024**.
            - **Sales Executive's Contact:** Mr. Kuldeep Dubal, Phone No: [protected]

            2. **Unauthorized Billing:**
            - I made an advance payment of ₹3300 via ICICI Credit Card (UPI Transaction ID:[protected] for the Airtel Air Fiber service, but only ₹1955 is reflected as advance rental. Additionally, I was incorrectly billed ₹699/month under a DTH plus plan, even though I subscribed to the ₹499 plus GST plan and did not receive any DTH service.

            3. **Disconnection without Proper Follow-Up:**
            - My service was disconnected on **15th August 2024** due to the lack of a landline connection, the incorrect display of ₹1955 instead of ₹3300, and the absence of communication from Airtel regarding these issues.
            - The installation engineer, who was involved in the setup, failed to provide clarification on these matters and can be reached at **Phone No: [protected]**.

            4. **Lack of Refund and Communication:**
            - Following disconnection, there has been no communication regarding the refund of ₹3300. Additionally, no information has been provided regarding why the refund has not been processed.             5. **Unannounced Modem Recovery:**
            - On **21st/22nd August 2024**, Airtel attempted to collect the modem without prior notice. While I cooperated, there was no subsequent communication or clarification from Airtel.

            - Despite the account being deactivated, Airtel has continued to generate bills. This raises serious concerns about the integrity of Airtel’s billing practices. How can Airtel justify generating bills for a service that has been deactivated and for which the equipment has been recovered?

            ### **Demands for Resolution:**

            - **Immediate Refund of ₹3300:** Process the refund for the advance payment without further delay.
            - **Correct Billing Errors:** Adjust the billing to reflect the correct charges under the ₹499 plus GST plan, or alternatively, re-install the service at my new location (Dhruvtara, Pune 411041) with all the promised services and correct billing.
            - **Proper Communication:** Airtel must clearly communicate the status of my refund, the corrected bill, the duration of the plan, and any other relevant information.
            - **Cessation o[censored]njust Billing:** Immediately stop any further billing for the deactivated account and investigate how such practices were allowed to continue.

            I trust that Airtel will address these issues with the urgency they deserve. If my concerns are not resolved within seven (7) days, I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Court and the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

              I have been facing internet issues for the past 20 hrs. This is not for me but my entire surrounding area. My place is situated in Tirunelveli Dist, Nanguneri Tk, Thirukkurungudi and the postal code is 627115.

              Internet issue occurred last evening around 3PM but not yet resolved even raised a complaint to 198 and the timeline is Sept 3rd. But they do not provide any compensation. I have paid for it already. They are not considering our trouble

                Airtel wifi has not been working in my building since 4th August, 2024 morning and till now its not working. I am facing many issues due to the unavailability of wifi for more then 1 day now. Our office work is also getting impacted. I am not able to do work from home for my office related tasks. There has been no repair done for this wifi issue since yestreday

                Kindly fix this issue at the earliest as its impacting the deadlines.

                  There is a recharge plan of 49rs unlimited internet for one day, but it is actually for the mid night of the particular day.
                  The info provided in the recharge plan details is completely misleading.

                  There should be clearly mentioned in the detail that it would be valid till the mid night on the day it is recharged.

                  Kindly register my complaint against such misleading kind of advertising.

                  I recharged for [protected] at 22:46 pm on[protected] of INR 24 for unlimited internet for one day as mentioned in the details, but it got exhaust at 00:00 mid night.

                    I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with my Airtel prepaid number, [protected]. Recently, I have been unable to make calls due to a message indicating that my validity has expired.

                    However, I would like to clarify that I recharged my account with a yearly pack of ₹2, 999 in November last year, and my validity is supposed to be valid until November 24th, 2024. To support my claim, I have attached a screenshot from the Airtel Thanks app for your reference.

                    Kindly investigate this matter promptly and reactivate my validity as soon as possible. I rely on my Airtel connection for essential communication, and any delay in resolving this issue would greatly inconvenience me.

                              From 5/07/2024 to still now my Airtel Payment Bank account [protected] is Inactive. My account balance is 4275₹.After contact with them APB customer care informed me that for some security reasons my APB account is on temporary hold.                               There is no network in my mobile for over an hour. the network suddenly went off. I had an order placed with BlinkIt and i am sure the delivery person will not be able to reach me and my money wil be lost.
                              Unable to contact anybody not even the call centre.
                              Tried switching off the mobile and switching it back on. Taking out the sim, cleaning it and reinserting it.
                              But nothing is helping.

                                    I did a recharge of 1029 on Airtel about 3 - 4 days ago, in which I was to get Amazon Prime subscription as a benefit for 84 days but I did not get it and when I talked to Airtel customer care, they said that you will get the benefit till July 7 but I did not get it. Now when I called him again, he told me that I got this Apart from this, those people have also removed the subscription of Amazon Prime from the recharge of 1029
