I ported my number from Airtel to jio without any dues and now it say pay your outdues

As basic the operator allowed the port request after my dues were clear and it took 4 days. Everything was fine my number was ported and now they want me to pay my bill cycle in both the telecom company for the porting month.

I'm subscriber of dth tv Airtel since June 22 and I have been using it but everytime their backend team is reducing my balance and validity moreover when I'm removing any channel they donot extend or increase balance but when I add any channel they immediately reduced my balance and validity pls refer to the attached screenshot below and I have sent multiple email to Airtel dth but even after their reply regarding waiver for 6.months of incorrect calculation of my leftover balance in every month on last day they have still not provided me waiver and didnt extended validity or increased my balance. Please escalate it to their higher authorities as their customer service and backend team both have taken too much of time in resolving it

      Dear Team Airtel,

      I am R Prasanna Venkatesan, having mobile number[protected] with International roaming facility. At present I am residing in Muscat, Oman.

      I have been receiving calls from unknown numbers from India since one month. Whe I respond to these calls, the caller says that they have received a missed call from my number. I do not know any of these numbers & I have not made any calls to them considering the fact I am in International roaming. This is causing a lot of disturbance to my daily activities, apart from me losing a lot of International minutes.

      Also my LPG cylinder(domestic) booking is linked to this number. Everday a cylinder is booked on this number& I receive SMS for the same, whereas the fact is I am not available in India. This is causing a lot of nuisance to me.

      I have raised this issue with your customer care center few times & the response I got was - change the SIM or they said they would get back to me, which hasn't happened till now.

      Since these calls are consuming 20-30 international minutes each time, I had a whatsapp chat with your international roaming customer care, where I was asked to simply ignore these calls.

      Now that I have started ignoring calls from unknown numbers, I am afraid I am missing out on some important calls.

      Since I am disturbed by this in many ways, I request you to provide me a solution ASAP.

        Subject: Complaint Regarding Misleading Information and Service Issues with Airtel Xstream Box

        To Whom It May Concern,

        I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent experience with your Airtel Xstream Box service. The entire process, from purchasing the box to its activation and usage, has been extremely frustrating and misleading.

        The Issues:
        Persistent Marketing Pressure:
        For weeks, I received constant messages on WhatsApp from Airtel, encouraging me to purchase the Airtel Xstream Box.

        Misleading Sales Information:
        Before making the purchase, I specifically asked the sales representative multiple times if YouTube would work on the Xstream Box without recharging the plan. I was assured each time that it would. The technician who installed the box also confirmed this and even provided his personal number for assistance.

        Delayed Activation:
        After I paid ₹1900 on the day of installation, it took three days to activate the service. Despite this delay, no extension was added to my plan to compensate for the lost time.

        YouTube Access Suspended:
        When my plan ended, YouTube stopped working, and I was informed that my box had been suspended due to low balance. This contradicts the assurances provided by your salesperson and technician.

        Lack of Clear Terms and Conditions:
        Upon raising this issue with the salesperson, I was told that it was mentioned in Airtel’s terms and conditions that YouTube would not work without a recharge. However, the PDF order bill provided to me contained no such terms or conditions.

        My Expectations:
        I feel cheated and misled by your company’s representatives, and I request the following actions:

        Refund: I demand a refund for the ₹1900 paid for the Airtel Xstream Box, as the product does not meet the expectations set by your sales team.
        Clarification of Policies: Airtel should provide transparent and clear terms and conditions to all customers upfront to avoid such issues in the future.
        Accountability: Your sales team and technicians should be held accountable for providing misleading information.
        This entire experience has left me deeply dissatisfied with Airtel’s service and approach. I urge you to resolve this matter promptly and provide a satisfactory response within 7 days

          Dear Sir-Madam.
          I want a new Airtel DTH direct to home satellite TV connection (HD connection basic) from Airtel. However I have a few technical queries related to Set top box functionality. Questions related to scanning types supported (1080i/1080p), HDCP versions, recording features and a few more. These are profound tech queries which only backend tech folks can answer.

          However there's no provision to talk to an agent. call center number is there but it's all automated for existing customers. For new connection request they automatically note down the number and disconnect.

          Writing to nodal office did not help as I got AI Chatbot reply and again telling me to contact customer care.

          I am stuck. No one is there to help. Sales team is not reachable and when they call at random they don't allow to talk to tech experts.

          This customer apathy is really disappointing. I don't know what more to say.
          If I write to CEO their mailbox does not accept incoming connections from external public domain and they are rejected.

          Your bad karma will do the rest. Peace!!

            I hope this site forwards this concern to Airtel and they carefully go thru this.

            I want a new DTH direct to home satellite TV connection from Airtel. However I have a few technical queries related to Set top box functionality. Questions related to scanning types supported, HDCP versions, recording features and a few more. These are profound tech queries which only backend tech folks can answer.

            However there’s no provision by Airtel DTH to solve those queries. The call center does not have any provision to connect to an agent (Of course they would be useless even otherwise)

            The call center numbers are not reachable and there’s no way I can connect with tech subject matter.

            Callers from sales simply disconnect the phone when I ask them technical queries. This is simply running away from their responsibilities!
            It’s disappointing. I hope Airtel takes my feedback seriously and ponders over improving their pre-sales support rather than running away from problem.

                  I am Jhagan from Babu Nagar Medavakkam (600100). I am facing frequent wifi issues. Atleast 1-3 days in a month I am facing this issue. Currently my network is down since 12-dec (11:30 PM) . Attaching the screenshot.
                  I am just getting the automated message every 3 hrs that some technician is working on it. Adding to this there is no proper IVR to contact the customer care directly(Dialled 121) . Finally I connected with the customer care there is no proper response from them, they said issue will be resolved by 13-Dec 9 PM still network is down.

                      I closed my Wifi connection for Airtel Number [protected] and Airtel Account Number [protected] in 2020. A refund was issued by cheque and was delivered to another mail box that I accidentaly discovered while following-up with Airtel for missing refund.

                      I have been asking Airtel to issue another cheque (same address), transfer online to bank (cancelled cheque mailed) or to my linked phone number ([protected]) that has not changed in decades.

                      Multiple times, support has taken the request and confirmed a refund will be issued but no refund. They do complaint that they cannot find the account details. It is all mentioned in the CMS payment letter that I shared with them.

                      Now they are resorting to unprofessional means of replying to my mail as if replying to some other customer by quoting wrong email, phone and account numbers and stating that refund is complete.

                      For eg:
                      - Addressing Jayesh Yadav ([protected]@gmail.com) and Airtel account number [protected].
                      - Addressing Subramanya.A, Mobile Number:[protected] for Airtel Xstream fiber ID[protected]_wifi quoting closure as per mobile conversation on [protected].

                      While they are creating confusion, they are also leaking customer PII data. Airtel should be very careful with customer PII data.

                      It is been 4 years following up with Airtel, escalating with nodal officers and support mail but no resolution. Kindly help get a refund.

                        I had WiFi connection of Airtel [protected]_wifi installed in December 2023 at Bhopal. Since I had to shift to new place (work related) I asked to disconnect the WiFi and take the router back. But non-such response has been given by the team. Customer care is not resolving my problem. They are just transferring calls here and there. They are not providing any option in there designated app to disconnect and returning the router. I have been receiving calls only from customer care and they are like promoting to have new connection. I came back and had new connection, tried to shift or transfer the same connection. But wasn’t assisted for the same. Since they have such a bad service I have been trying to disconnect the my present Airtel connection[protected]_wifi. But they have been giving me the same response. Kindly help regarding the issue, I shall be grateful to you

                              airfiber cancelled - refund pending due to device return - pickup not arranged by airtel

                              Wifi - [protected]. The internet speed is poor and there's no connectivity 95% of the time. I'd raised a request on nov 18th and no one came to fix till 24th.

                              I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I am facing with the Wynk Music service, which is included in my Airtel mobile subscription for my phone number. Despite having an active subscription that is valid until May 2025, I am unable to access the service as promised. The music streaming is not working on the app, as well as I am not able to use the download features.
                              In May 2024, I had opted for Airtel's ₹2, 999 prepaid plan which offered :
                              * Validity: 365 days (1 year)
                              * Data: 2GB per day
                              * Voice Calls: Unlimited local and STD calls
                              * SMS: 100 per day
                              * Additional Benefits: Access to Apollo 24|7 Circle, free HelloTunes, and a Wynk Music subscription
                              The inclusion of a Wynk Music subscription allowed me to enjoy ad-free music streaming, offline downloads, and access to exclusive content.
                              But as of now i am not able to use the benefits which was promised to me.
                              I have already attempted basic troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling the app and ensuring it is updated to the latest version. However, the issue persists.
                              I would greatly appreciate it if you could look into this matter and provide a resolution.
                              I look forward to your prompt assistance in resolving this matter.

                                I was using Airtel DTH since many days and stopped using it for some reason. Since then, we have received many calls from some number in Mumbai requesting to recharge. Until now, it is fine as every company can make some steps to enhance their sales. But, today morning we received a call from Mumbai landline and they informed us that, we will send our person and take back the set top box.

                                Cheat! Cheat! Cheat!

                                What the hell is this? We have paid for it and we are not obliged to continue service forever. We can stop service any time. Why Airtel wants the set top box back? They are requesting to recharge and start using services or return the device. When we pointed out to the fact that, we need our money. The amount is 1500/. They asked us to recharge first and then only money could be returned. We have been given a landline number from Mumbai and told that, confirm the recharge status before 1PM, otherwise they will send the person to collect instrument by evening.

                                Please stop this cheating and threatening. We will NOT recharge a single penny and we will NOT return the device, it’s ours. Else pay back our amount first and then only we will give it back.
