It's been more than 4 months since the set top box has been taken away and we were promised a refund of ₹1782 on my credit card which was used to purchase the connection.
Last month airtel claimed via mail that amount was credited to my ccard on 31/5/17@1847, which I denied.
They asked me to mail them all statements till date to verify that amount not credited.
In spite of doing so there is no reply from them.(ref pics)
I have made several calls to customer care to seek a reply and closure but no use.
Latest open complaints in this regard are 64863035 raised by Shubham and 64507119 raised by Rubini.
I am completely helpless in dealing with this and hence have decided to take below steps till issue is closed and I receive my refund.
"My airtel broadband outstanding amount for this month is ₹3066. I have decided to paid them only ₹1284 as on date post deducting ₹1782 towards my digital tv refund. As customers are being held to ransom, I found this one way to get back to airtel as let them sort it out amongst their departments."
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Updated by Saviona Thank you for getting back. But it's too late.
As I was leaving for the airport today, I got a call from one of your field officer(Contact - [protected]) insisting that he will come immediately to do the replacement of the Set Top Box. I told him we are leaving for the airport and he was adamant not to believe us.
Please note, we will be back only on 22 May 2017 and will be able to collect next with the Airtel only then.
In my final resolution I want to cancel the connection and do not want to continue with Airtel DTH

If you would have gone through the complaint mentioned you would have read that we are travelling abroad till 21st May 2017 and will not be available on calls.

In what grounds have you updated the complaint as resolved?
I have returned home from my vacations and the TV still shows the attached error code. As of today.
This is not acceptable.
