Dear Airtel,

I filed a complain just a week ago and I'm very thankful to you for looking into the matter and talking immediate action. But, the same problem still continues.

Unwanted services keep on activating itself on very "Talktime" recharge. Which is why i have only been recharging for Airtel "data services" and haven't been able to enjoy Airtel calling facilities which i have been using persistently using for years.

I wold be ever grateful if you look deeper into this matter and refund my money as well. Because regardless, if the problem is sloved i would love to remain an Airtel costumer if my problems are solved.

    Few months back, in response of Airtel offer for recharge at Rs. 345 for unlimited calls and 4G data, I made recharge accordingly and since beginning I never got 4g service. Yesterday, I tried to contact their customer call executive at 121 and got reply that since I have 0 balance in my account hence call can't be continued. What ridiculous this approach was? I have made recharge for unlimited calls than only to talk to their customer care executive I have to recharge separately?

    Even, yesterday on dated 26.04.17 I have made recharge of Rs. 399 for unlimited calls and data and despite that still at my phone (MI 4I) in operator icon its being displaying as Airtel H instead of Airtel 4G or LTE. Regarding this, I have already mailed complaint to Airtel, however, not received any reply for so far.

    I request to Airtel, please look into the matter and provide your promised services of 4G for which I have already paid and despite that getting inferior service.

      I am using Airtel prepaid number for years. I am currently residing in US and today i have been charged Rs 99 towards international roaming rental. I am not sure why this is being deducted when my number is a prepaid one.
      In that case what will be my current plan, incoming and outgoing calls tariff?

        I went on a international trip between 25th to 28th March 2017 to Srilanka. Before going to trip, I activated the RS 149 international roaming pack from the myAirtel app. After that it never mentioned that i have to activate additional packs. On 25th evening i get a sms on my mobile that I have to pay RS 420 for voice and RS 727 for data. I sent an email to Airtel regarding this and the response i got is that all the discounts will be calculated when bill is generated so i should write mail on 13th April to get it fixed. Nowhere they mentioned that i need to activate another pack on top of roaming pack to get the benefits. This must be a ploy they teach to all Customer Care executives so that customer keeps on using the services unaware of the facts and then charge customer ridiculous amount of money and then harass. That is what happened.
        They generated a bill of Rs 9079 on 13th April. And now when i wrote them an email regarding this, they had the list of all the plans which i could have activated and they are telling me because of this the bill is so much. Why wasnt i made aware of this when i first wrote them an email on my first day of international travel? If they had told me, I would have activated any of those packs, why would i use it like a fool. Now they are not listening to anything and harassing me with calls 2 times a day since then to pay this bill. I need to know how can i file a case against them in consumer court for the fraud.

        I have been working with Airtel customer care people for last two weeks and now frustrated with their approach. I've been a loyal customer of Airtel (have postpaid sim, DTH and broadband connection) yet you treat me like this. I will wait 48 hours as that is the standard Turnaround Time and after that i will move ahead with my complaint in consumer court. Also, I would be raising a request to disconnect all of these connections i have.

          I had seen your advertisement on electronic media etc about Rs 349 charges which promised me free local and STD calls to any network and a daily data of 1 GB for 4G mobiles. Based on this I advertisement I have recharged by prepaid number twice with the same amount for the past 2 months. The first time I found I was not being given this 1 GB daily, I assumed it was some error and so I recharged for 53 Rs and got my 1 GB data. Now again after my second recharge I fnd the same problem i.e: Im not being given my 1 GB data.

          When I called help desk they informed me that I m not eligible for this recharge.

          Received the same answer from AIRTEL appellate / nodal officer as well ! Thy have asked Marketing dept to contact me !

            I have recharged with 349 pack but i did not get 2 gb daily data instread i got only 1 gb data only for one time not for daily. I contacted customer care they said the offer is not for your number but why all are getting the offer why not me.please activate the offer or refund my money.

              I was using airtel broadband connection from last 4 years with ontime payment. Many time had issue with the connection and raised complaints but poor response and issue will not be resolved untill i followup and it used to take atleast 5 working days every time. Even though have continued the service as i don`t want loose the relation since i`m using mobile, DTH from the same service provider.

              Recently have applied for connection transfer with in the same which is just 200 to 300 mts away (next lane) but i didn`t get any proper response until i chase them. They keep on saying additional new cabeling and DP box setup up done due to huge demand and only connection fix required.

              I have waited for more than 2 weeks and followed up with them on almost for 10 times but still it was not solved nor issue fixed.

                Fraud using SIM swap

                My father was defrauded of Rs 21, 000 by a fraudster using SIM swap. He uses an Airtel post-paid connection. Someone called him and manipulated him to raise a request for SIM swap under the pretext o[censored]pgrading SIM from 3G to 4G.

                We realized something was wrong when suddenly his phone lost connectivity. We ran to the Airtel customer care center and raised a request to block the new SIM asap. We received zero co-operation and...

                  Worst network i ever seen yet!!
                  Please stop making fool by advertising such a wrong ad.

                  If you can't maintain your existing customer and even if you guys are not even able to provide service to existing customer - how you can looking forward to ad more customers.

                  I always uses 4g data of airtel but for few days 4g network lost again and again!! Even 3g data is not working!!! Please check the network issues of 4g data otherwise i have to port this ([protected]) number to other good network like idea and vodafone!!!

                      Let me mention i always thought airtel is driven by professionals and they treat their customer nicely,
                      But they had proved me wrong in every sense during last one month.

                      All started when saw a bill of almost 1118, by sms on my moblie and thought that was a joke.

                      My bill plan is myplan infinity 349_r
                      Bill plan rental : rs 349 packs
                      1) 100mb 4g/3g data free, capping of 500, post data stop
                      2) 1gb 4g/3g data free_4g handset
                      3) 1gb 4g/3g data_6 months_mnp (Ret)
                      4) rs.200 rental discount_6 months_mnp_ret

                      So i call customer care and ask them for what i have been charge, they said i have been charge for value added
                      Which i have not use, one early morning i think on 9th or 10th march all the suddenly 4 to 5 sms came on my mobile
                      Howing that some types of value added service are actived on my mobile, as i show the sms i call the customer care and
                      Told them i have not demand any value service, i think that their will be recored with you when i have call, i told pls
                      Top all the service which was worngly actived, they said me that it is deactived sir and it will not been charge.
                      But when i recieved the bill they have charge me. All service which are added or charge are not eligible to me, this all
                      Ervice are bojpuri song, etc. I am guj so i think this service are not for me.
                      I am business man and i use this number for my business. You can see my all past bills it have not gone above rs.700,
                      O i have call customer care many time regarding this, but they are not answering properly, the say that i have to pay
                      The bill, but i said them i am ready to pay what i have use, i am not going to pay the value added service which i have
                      Not use, they have charge me some rs.700 more. Which they are forcing me to pay, so unfortunate i have decied to go for
                      Other company provider.
                      O pls kindly settle my bill as soon as posible, and pls don't forcse me to go consumer court for legal againts airtel.
                      And i am clear that i am not going to pay which i have not use.

                          I am extremely dissatisfied with my airtel mobile service. I was using idea and its not even a month i have ported my number to airtel i have started facing network issue. I am so pissed off with the network issue and have also registered many complaints before but nothing happened. Right now as well i am unable to make any calls. When i try to make call it does not get connected and if anyone else tries it says check the number you have dialed

                          I am not only struggling this network issue in one area but everywhere so its not the issue with my area or home network. Airtel is fooling everyone but the services they are providing is extremely poor.

                          They have given a fixed tarriff despite of the fact i am unable to make calls and use internet they are sending me bills

                          I seriously want to register a complaint against them for cheating on customers

                            I am extremely disappointed and unhappy with the services received from airtel.

                            Now to give you a jist of the story my complaint is regarding the broadband plan i have. As per my records and confirmed by airtel twice my plan is airtel-ul-pace 899 60gb (16mbps/512kbps) combo plan & this was with effect from[protected] which i understand was in middle of the month and hence you gave me prorated data.

                            Now as per my billing cycle my new month has started today and i should've got 60gb data rather i've only got 30 gb this month as well.

                            This is absolutely disgraceful and is also a cheating from airtel point of view. I am extremely frustrated and losing up my patience.

                            I have emails and proof to prove that my plan was changed to 60gb data plan @₹899 so if this plan isn't updated on my number

                            I will post on facebook with screenshots of your emails confirming that my plan is airtel-ul-pace 899 60gb (16mbps/512kbps) combo plan.

                            I am hereby giving you a last chance to change and update your records.

                            This is also a case of cheating & disgusting customer services. For airtel it barely matters what the customer is going through you just need to make money.

                            If this is not resolved to my satisfaction i'll make sure i don't stop here & will a mockery out of this.

                            Get this resolved asap.

                              I've been using airtel arepaid connection from last 6.5 yrs. I've recharged 345 plan before 1st april. After that 399 plan was introduced which included 70 days validity.
                              I could not recharge 399 plan because of my previous 345 plan. Now my pack validity is over. I want the 399 plan with 70 days validity.
                              That 399 plan got over before my 345 plan validity date ends.

                              My question is why they mentioned 345 was the last plan & last date of recharge was 31st march.

                                  Unable to recharge airtel prepaid number

                                  I am facing issue my Mobile Number [protected] during recharge. This number was bought has prepaid from Thane-Bhiwandi-Kasheli (Maharashtra circle). I have started facing this issue since a month now. Earlier I was able to recharge my number.

                                  1. Unable to recharge from Airtel Wallet. Message that I get is ‘Invalid mobile number, please enter valid mobile number’. It is working fine with other airtel number.

                                  Hi, I've given docs & 300/- to these people. It's been a month, my number is still not activated. I tried calling them but their response was weird. Their executive replied she'll cross check & get back to me but there was no call from her end & they are not even responding to my calls now. this is so unprofessional.

                                    I did a porting from vodafone to airtel. I was told by the airtel executive that I will be offered with extra 3GB for the regular plan (Rs 500) which comes along with 3GB. So in total I will be getting 6GB. But I have got only 3GB. After the connection is activated, the customer care says that the offer is over and they could provide only 3GB now. Iam not sure, until I get activated they said I am eligible for the offer and after my activation, they say Offer has expired.

                                    Initial experience with Airtel is very bad for my. My no: [protected].

                                    I switched from vodafone to Airtel only for the suggested plan of 6GB data plan. But Airtel cheated me with only 3GB data.
