    SIM SWAP not working

    I followed the procedure given for SIM SWAP from 3g to 4g. I got a message for confirmation where i had to type 1. I did the same for which i got a msg
    "Wrong HLR GOLD SIM, Please try again with correct HLR sim number"
    When i contacted customer care i was told to repeat the same procedure but to no avail. I had already contacted the customer care only after trying a few times. Customer care executive was inefficient and just...

    I have a family plan and being charged extra consistently for 3 months now in spite of complaining every time. Say, i have 1000 free minutes and i use only 500 minutes out of it and then 200 minutes within cug then ideally i should not get extra bill but you are charging me for 200 calls saying cug charges. First month i noticed this i called 121 and your guy accepted the issue and reverted the amount, same happened next month as well. My only issue is that why do i need to call you every month to do when you have assured that this will not happen, but no action is taken from your side. I am frustrated.

    Last month here i was assured that this will be resolved but it did not. You guys are just adding up to my frustration by failing to resolve after so many complaints. What do you expect me to do now. Also you never compensate the losses and frustration. Its like you don't need customers at all.

      Dear Sir,
      I am experiencing unexplained 3G data uses on my Airtel prepaid number [protected] since last 2-3 months. Each month, on one random day I suddenly start getting notification regarding data uses even when the phone is not being used.
      Last month over 700MB was deducted between night 3 AM to 5 AM and the phone was idle at that time. Similarly, today (4-4-17 at approx 8:30 PM) 50 MB of 3G data pack were deducted and it continued till my main account balance became zero. No internet was being used. Also, in my phone software updates occur only with wifi connection (not with cellular data). The customer care is unable to identify the problem.
      Please look into the matter and do the needful

        1. To say the least, AIRTEL has done precious little in last 15 DAYS to reslove my complaint. And to "rub salt on my wound" I am seeing your advertisment of claiming fastest network in the world about 50 times morning to night. Thats travesty.
        2. Airtel network speed as reveived by your so called engineer in/outside my residence on 24 Mar 17, is from ZERO k/s to 300K/s and I remain DIS SATISFIED, though I have paid the last bill very reluctantly on 25 Mar 17, even before receiving the bill electronically.
        3. I am left with no option, but to record that I WILL NOT PAY THE NEXT BILL, till my current problem is resolved satisfactorily.
        4. You are requested to PUT UP this mail for apprising your COO/CFO/CEO, or anyone else who can respolve the deficiency in service.

          Hi Team, I am getting msg from airtel that m nt making usage from my airtel number. However I am using this number in Intl roaming. I am doing recharge once is a month or 2 months.               Greetings,

              This year January month, Airtel charged a Wrong bill saying that i have activated a Blackberry data account and charged 7999/ -, however I never did and I use a Microsoft WIndows mobile.

              They are now saying only 4500/- can be waived off and the remaining amount cant be waived off now and will have to wait. I waited for almost 4 months now and no resolution from their side.

              I dropped some mails to Airtel and out of frustration i used by Abusive words with *** in between them.

              Now, today . They have suspended my number completely. I cant get incoming/outgoing facility. The local Airtel shop said if my number is in suspended state for 6 days my number will become de-activated permanently. This could be probably due to the words I used, .

              Offcourse, I m just a normal human being and get the frustration if I dont get a solution for 4 months.

              How should I approach Consumer court and get back my number.? Please help

                  Airtel is the most hopeless mobile network provider. I recently took a sim card and a 4g router. The router goes out of service every week and it takes 2 weeks to repair and start service again. Its causing a hughe loss and inconvenience to me and my business. Under the name of scheme they have already taken 4 months advance and every month service goes off for two weeks. I want my refund or else i am going to consumer court as my business mails have stopped, my other phone 3g bills have gone up 3 times due to non service of airtel.

                    I applied for MNP on 08.03.17 from Andhra airtel to Kerala airtel.Sim activated on 16.03.17.In airtel andhra sim my balance was rupees 392.After porting to Kerala my balance was not credited .My no.is[protected].See my consideration and do the need at the earliest.I spoke to customer care and even on mailing, my problem not solved.

                      Applied for three 1mbps (Each) connection of bb about a month ago. Was promised lead time of 15 days for copper and 20-25 days for rf. Till now only one connection has been activated and that too with poor response.

                      I planned to switch over from some other service provider to airtel by thinking that this is a better company and wud provide good service.

                      But the worst experience i had with the service. Airtel representatives not picking my call since last 7 days.

                        I have pre paid airtel connection. the call charges per minute are more than one rupee. for five minutes talk charge is more than 7 rupees. every time i telephone i get the message forwarding on conditioning. please check my connection and do the needful. airtel provider in my locality asked me to call at 198 but this number does take this type of complaints.

                          Dear sir
                          I wanted to switch to airtel from my vodafone number assuming that i will get good services from airtel. But in the begining only i am dissapointed to inform you that i applied for mnp at your airtel store on 25th march 2017. At raghunathganj dt-murshidabad. West bengal. So after completing all the formalities, i got one sim, informing that your current no. Will be transfered on 7th day and then you need to put the airtel sim in the mobile and your services from airtel will start. Now from here my problem started, after almost 6 days on 31th march my vodafone sim got deactivated and it is more than 120 hours since then and my new sim has still not been activated, i am in sales and my business runs through mobile only. I am suffering from heavy losses since last two days but airtel doesent seem to provide me a solution.
                          Kindly start my service at the earliest.

                              Online recharge failed but amount deducted

                              I have recharged my mobile number [protected] through net banking for Rs. 2000 on 4th April 2017 and received an SMS with Transaction reference [protected] and airtel1/del/prepaid txn#[protected] of Rs. 200. Bank transaction was also completed successfully but my mobile is not recharged.Till now I got no message regarding the recharge, although the amount has been debited from my bank account.

                              My name is imran ahmed.
                              I had installed air tel application on my galaxy s7 edge. I had an option of recharging for rs.549 which will provide unlimited data (1.5 gb per day), unlimited voice calls (Local & std). I have been using reliance jio for a couple of month due to the expense tariff rates levied by airtel on calls & data usage. I had already applied for reliance 1 year offer. But i thought of giving airtel a try. Post recharge i realized that my balance remained what it was. Also, i could not send any sms. I contacted airtel customer care. Its a pain to reach customer care to begin with. You have to try all sort of combination of numbers before getting to the customer care. I reached a female agent. She said that i will not be able to send any sms at all. I asked her where does app shows that sms service is not available. She said that it clearly mentioned in the app & i had not read it properly. I repeatedly informed her that it was not the case. The app never informed anything about any sms service not available. She kept arguing about it. She said that i was not listening properly. Towards the beginning i informed her that she is being recorded just to ensure the rep does not disconnects the call. She said that i need to hear the recording myself & disconnected the call. The rep was extremely defensive & argumentative.
                              Airtel customer service is pathetic.
                              This call was made at 198 & the option selected was mobility balance deduction option 9.

                              The call was made at 14:41
                              I am extremely upset with the fact that airtel does not makes clear what services the customer is not getting. To make matters worse its almost impossible to get across to the customer care department. And on top of that the representative had the audacity to disconnect calls on your face.

                              Got a call from +[protected]. This person identified himself from Airtel & said that he can only refund the money back. I informed that money is not a concern. The actual concern is the Representative being extremely rude & disconnecting the call when we being consumers are actually paying to the company. The person said that he cannot do anything about it apart from refunding the money. I asked him to not to refund the money since Rs.549 is not a huge amount but to take some sort of stand for the consumers against such rude Customer Care Representatives . He said that he cannot do anything about it since refunding the money is the only thing he can do. I asked him not to refund the money.
                              I ask Airtel is this the kind of people you hire for service where refunding money is better than fixing unruly Customer Care agents at you organisation ?

                              I have recharged 349 but i didnt get the net benefit. I have complained airtel network but they said like u have recharged 349 from 3rd party website.. after that i have recharged again 349 from my airtel app then also i dint get the benefit of net balence.

                                  I am using prepaid no . Sir I have been taken this new sim card from Airtel store 3B2 Mohali before 10 day because my existing sim card lost

                                  Sir after 4-5 and day sim card automatically stop I call to customer care executive as per his feedback sim card stop becuase still documents not received at head office .

                                  After that i am several time ( 3-4) visiting to airtel store locating at 3B2 mohali from last 4 days. But every time your executive askme sim card start after 1 and 2 hour.

                                  But still its not started.

                                  Sir i can't understand a why customer suffer this if your team are not able to submit documents on time.

                                  if my no. not working 5 or 6 day due to airtel poor documents managements and handling why i wear data pack charges.

                                  Reputed telecom company like Airtel how to take so lightly a customer problem

                                  I hope a positive response from your side.and resolve this issue .
