    Hi I have been using my mobile number [protected] for past 5 years as prepaid number. I was keeping my number by recharging or using active and it was active till Sept 2016. Recently when I inserted the sim it showed inactive. I visited to one of Airtel relationship center in Hyderabad (TS) to activate the number with all the proofs (ID and address proof). Even though I submited my ID, not less than an year ago.
    I came to know my number is allocated to some one else. This number is update in all my bank accounts, DEMAT, PAN detail, Aadhaar account, bank acounts, and credit cards, and other utility bills.
    For me it not possible to get updated all these details in such short notice as these need physical visit located in different cities. My privacy is at risk as all the SMS (Verification code, OTP, URN) still goes to this number and I am fully prone to fraud as well because of exposed information. How irresponsibly my 5 years old number was allocated to some one else. After this long service I did not expect Airtel to act so irresponsible which put mt at very high risk. I have had it recharged before I left for travel and I had talk time balance on this number which was unused, which was valid for long. not just 3 months, i guess.
    My alternate number is [protected] (My moms vodafone number). Kindly take this matter urgently and give me chance to re activate my number. Thanks,

    Thank for your reply, I have the information that this number has been assigned to another customer 5 days ago, please do the needful ASAP, before its too late for the company to do this. How can AIRTEL assign number to another customer in matter of weeks if its switched off.
    I understand that there is a gap in demand and supply of MSDN, but it cant be done at the expense of a productive citizen of the country, or a productive customer who has a history of spending a good amount every month.
    I am a doctor by profession practicing in hyderabad, I am away for a skills upgrade course in speciality, I have this number listed everywhere, my pateints, my business cards, and is advertised every where in the listing of doctors online and in the AP Dental council. At a personal level its attached with my credit cards, it gets OTP's and messages related to my bank accounts etc.
    in the interest of the privacy and security of a customer, and as per directives given by TRAI, please do the needful and do it as soon as possible. before the other customer has already invested time and energy on it.

      I have raised several complaints in Airtel regarding network quality issue but it gets autoclosed without any resolution. At road no 12, triveninagar, balapur x road, Hyderabad network is very poor. A personal came to my home and agreed on issue at Airtel side. I have opted for unlimited calls on corporate scheme and now regret every moment of it. What if TRAI gets the information that Airtel fights jio with no basic network coverage, then it would be a huge loss to Airtel customer list. Kindly check on my complaint number 73727926 and 73328711.

        Dear Sir/Mam,

        I have been using Airtel Digital TV connection from last 1.5 yrs. I have been using the same pack from beginning. All of a sudden on 10th of Feb 2017, my plan was changed. I stopped getting any HD channels.
        When I spoke to customer care they said as I have made payment of Rs. 405 my plan was automatically changed. Let me tell you I have been recharging with this money from last few months and it never happened before. I said them ok now please revert back my channels as I do not want their new plan to which they said my earlier plan which I was using a day before has been removed and is no longer in existence.
        This is really very disappointing from service provide like Airtel, to trouble their customer. First my channels were changed without any intimation and then you guys are not reverting your mistake.
        Please revert back the channels or terminate my connection. Customer should not suffer for the mistakes made by you.

          Dear sir/madam,
          i have taken a connection on 23-1-17.Telecaller called me and said selected number is not available they preferred me another number it's ok for me(connection number-[protected]).I paid service charge through online.I had sent inline transaction id and all other proof.Till now i can't make outgoing calls and can't use internet also.So many times i have contacted telecaller and customer care, but no response from their side.The reason is they didn't done address verification.This is not my mistake.They are so irresponsible.So i decided to deactivate the number.I called customer care and telecaller continously for deactivation finally they did it yesterday.It's waste of money, energy and time.Now i ordered a new connection with selected number [protected](order id[protected].The same telecaller contacted me and told me that the connection is in another person's name.How can it be possible.I had selected the number from airtel site. So i need that connection.Please make the arrangements.

          the representative called me and said the number i selected was registered in other person's name, interesting thing is it was registered 2 months before.then why the same number shown in airtel site.don't try to cheat the customers. thanks for all your co-operation

              I am having airtel broadband connection 4mbps for which my data limit was increased few months back.
              Last week my data limit was again reduced to 35 gb without intimation. I checked few more plans to shift over and found many new plans of higher speed available at lower cost. I tried to contact Airtel customer care to shift to lower price plan of higher speed but I'm yet to hear back from your end.
              It is very disappointing to see such a response as I'm already paying a higher price for an obsolete plan.
              Kindly follow up and revert so as to help me decide to continue with Airtel.

                    Disconnected Prepaid No without Notice

                    My Prepaid Airtel number is [protected]. The service to this number suddenly got disconnected . .Its not a good to disconnect service without customer intimation.
                    I have received SMS during this time frame of 90 days. Also recharged today. Not sure where the money went.

                    Dear Sir,

                    Inspired by Prime Minister's Digital India Movement, we have started our family members to get the mobiles recharged thru Internet payment but getting discouraged to do so..

                    Our balance for the talk time on mobile service of Airtel, Delhi Circle was not available so we decided to get it recharged thru mobile online payment.

                    When mobile calling services didn't get activated, we spoke to customer care and realised that we did the mistake in selection of the right package option.

                    In an attempt to make the digital payment for talk time plan, by mistake, option was selected for internet pack by us. This happened on 8th Feb 2017.

                    By admitting our mistake, we requested the customer care to cancel our wrong order so that we can use the amount for correct requirement.

                    We were told that it is not possible to cancel the order even when it is done by mistake. They also confirmed that wrongly ordered service is not yet used by us.

                    We were also informed by customer care to speak to Online payment service provider, instead, which has no role to play in the matter.

                    Our reference no. is CONRC[protected], dated 10th Feb 2017.

                    May we request to company authorities to address the following:

                    1. In case any order is wrongly placed by customer, what are the provisions for customer, to deal with these kind of issues, especially at the time when Prime Minister is stressing the need to make India Digital.

                                Airetel collected Rs. 1490 in advance for one month rental in early December. Connection provided 4 Jan. Now bill raised by Airtel for 23 Dec to 22 Jan due date 8 Feb 2017. Despite my complaint on this site & several emails reg. providing incorrect plan and incorrect bill, Airtel is not resolving my complaint. They have disconnected my broadband from this morning (10 Feb). Customer Service team says my account has been disconnected so cant take a complaint. Technical team refuses to take my call. Airtel looks like you are not interested at all. Even after one month their standard reply is "we are checking". Are you going to resolve this issue decently?

                                  Today as in[protected] i got a call from Siberia, i've lifted it by mistake the call have ended within 5secs, as showen in the screenshot, kindly block such calls from now on wards and let me know if this is any trap to access or accquire my information.                                     As I am not able to use my data plan of2999 properly for last 40 days and have complained so many times but on every complaint I receive a sms that you problem Will be seen in next two days and all that. But it is still there, now I get the highlighted display of exceeding of my data plan. What is this going on can't understand. Now I request your kind self to please see to it or deactivate my plan so that I be saved from another bill cycle which is again a burden to me now. It has happened in past bill also that I was billed by Rupees 3000/- . I know the same Will be repeated and another bill will be sent to me. Now if it happens again I will go to the consumer services to complaint against Airtel services. I m sending a screen shot of the answer of a cord which I use to see my data usage is enclosed.
