I requested for broadband connection, paid the money, and after 2 weeks, Airtel said they can't make the connection . Fine. I asked for refund, and they agreed.
Nothing has moved since. Its been 2 months now.

There is a long email chain, every time me asking for refund and the response I get is, 'the issue will be resolved in 3 days'. The person responding does not mention what issue he will resolve in 3 days. Today I got a email response like this which is not the subject of discussion at all:
"This is in reference to your email expressing concern over data not reflecting for your airtel fixedline connection.
We have forwarded your complaint regarding data not reflecting to the concerned team. Our team will be contacting you with an update within 72 hours."

This is a joke. I am talking of refund for Broadband connection and this lady is talking of some 'data not reflecting problem'

      I am using airtel prepaid connetion. I have hearing problem in calls. I have taken up it with airtel many times but no use i have also asked them to supply proof/ vis call recordings but they do not agree. So pl arrange my call recordings as a proof Pl take up the matter with airtel and arrange tosupply recordings of calls for Jan 2017 as a proof and so that it may be proved that my calls are properly heard or not as I am facing problem in hearing.

        Hi,

        I am trying to get a new broadband connection in my apartment.

        Now here is my problem.From the last many days you guys are not able to reply to my single question."WILL YOU BE ABLE TO PROVIDE ME A CONNECTION WITHIN ONE WEEK.YES OR NO".

        i am getting different reply from different person.

        What the call center executive is telling me:
        we have taken your request and we have forwarded it to the technical team for feasibility check.Next day they told me Feasibility is there Please go ahead and submit the document.When asked if the connection can be done within one week they cannot reply and tell the same thing again & again like a broken record.

        What the Technical person is telling me:

        A technical person from number 7XXXXXXXXX called me at first he told me as the DP switch is not available so they have to get a new one and it will take one or two months for the connection, but he is not sure he will check and confirm.after that he is not picking my call anymore.

        Here comes the most important one, What the Nearest Airtel outlet is telling me:

        When i explained them the issue they made a few phone calls here and there after that they connected me to the technical person of the area who asked me various questions like how nay flats in apartment, how many families living there etc.Then the outlet person told me look if you only take 999 plan then only they will process the connection & they will do it within one week itself.I asked them what is the problem with the 750 or 760 plan that i have chosen.He is telling me that is not possible.

        This is utter non-sense.So the whole matter boils down to the inside fact that as i was going for 750 plan so you guys were not entertaining my query and if the plan is 999 then how come you can do that immediately within one week!!!

        It looks very shameful that depending on the plan amount you are discriminating & the lower plan you guys are not entertaining.If this is your strategy then you guys should come up openly and announce it without hiding behind these silly reasons and keeping the customer on hold for so long.

        Please inform me IMMEDIATELY one very simple option "WILL YOU BE ABLE TO GIVE ME THE CONNECTION WITHIN ONE WEEK OR NOT?"

        What resolution you have given me is that after almost one month of query & almost one month of different people calling from airtel and some telling connection can be given while some telling connection cant be given finally you told me that you cant give the connection.Thank God i didnot submit any document and pay you any amount prior to that when your sales executives had asked me to do so even without checking the proper feasibility.Horrible experience comes to an end!!

          Sir,

          I am a subscriber of airtel prepaid service in Kolkata telecom circle.

          Starting November, I have been recharging my number with 260 which offered 260 talk-time and 8GB of data.
          Upon contacting airtel customer care in December I was advised to recharge same denomination in order to carry forward the data. Currently, I have 352 GB of data, including 110 GB of data in a different account which I am unable to carry forward.

          Recently, the 260 offer has been discontinued and I am no longer able to carry forward the data. Upon contacting airtel customer service I was told that being “special offer” the data cannot be carry forwarded now. This came as a shock since I have huge data balance in the aforementioned number.

          I have recharged just to accumulate the data for my future use so that I can carry forward the data every month and use the same as and when required.

          I received a call from Appellate Authority (Kolkata) informing me that previously there was a provision to transfer data balance to primary account. Now the policy has changed and my 110 GB of data is set to expire in February with no provision of carry forward.

          In December 2016, I was informed that data will be carry forwarded. But in February 2017 the policy got apparently changed. I was never informed about this change ; nor there was any public notice ever.

          For this, I will be incurring a loss worth more than 4000 INR in case the 110 GB of data lapses in February.

          I seek your support in this regard. Please transfer the 110 GB of data to the primary account so that I can carry forward the data every month.

            I got this Airtle Home Wifi connection with device by paying Advance rental of 3 months, under which Home Device is Free and 30GB data every month for 3 months.

            I used it only for 24 Hours for working on my Online Software and
            I got a message warning about My 50 percent data is used. When I work from office I never found consuming 15 GB data within 24 hours.

            This is absolutly looting of people by trapping them in technical aspects.

            The gallery owner is not helping, neither connecting my phone.
            No after sale service.

            I wanted to discoonect for whatever Best refundable amount but Airtel Gallery Staff denied and asked to use for 3 month.

            Its hard to digest of consuming 15GB data just in 24 hours, just working on online software.

            Highly disasppointed with such Fraud Service.

            Your staff called me and had no proper satisfactory answer then just repeating You have used it, you have used it.
            Highly unprofessional.

            I want to terminate this connection at earliest.
            Let me know the process. I am not at all interested in Airtel's any product.
            Can you do that much or will I have to suffer for buying Airtel Product.

                          On 25th Jan, 2017 I recharge my Airtel mobile for Full Talktime Rs.110 and 3G/4G data plan (25 days validity) Rs.255, 1GB data plan is completed without using and similar the Talktime charge balance is reduced to Rs. without used.

                          Let me know what is the reason?

                                महोदय मेरे द्वारा दिनांक[protected] को airtel digital tv id no [protected] को रिचार्ज रु 2800-00 से करवाया गया था जिसमे monthly charges Rs. 276-00 एक वर्ष के लिए फिक्स था किन्तु मुझे airtel customer care से सूचना दी जा रही है की आपका पैक 03 फरवरी 2017 को समाप्त हो रहा है आप recharge करवाए आपका कनेक्शन update कर दिया गया है जबकि मेरे द्वारा ऐसी कोई request नहीं की गई एवं न ही मेरे द्वारा कोई खास प्लान या चैनल की मांग की गई है फिर भी मुझे अँधेरे में रखकर मेरे द्वारा एक वर्ष के लिए किये गए recharge को 6 महीने में ही खत्म करवाए दे रहे है
                                अतः अनुरोध किया जाता है की मेरे तत्काल airtel digital tv id no [protected] को एक वर्ष तक करवाए गए recharge अनुसार सेवाए प्रदाय करवाने का कष्ट करे.

                                    Hi airtel team,

                                    I have paid rs 1000 for getting of new broadband connection.. After one week, i got message your area is not feasable for broadband connection. I have applied for refund of amount through onlinerefund airtel website.. Till now i did not get any reaponse from any one. This is the worst response i have nt seen till now. Earlier, i had opinion on aitel about their customer service. I am hoping that you will help to me on the refund.

                                      First date of complaint via their Open netowek was last year in August.
                                      Official email sent to the nodal officer regarding unresolved issue December 19th 2016.

                                      Its been a painfull process to have airtel even consider the issue that i am facing at my location with regards to the network signal. I used to receive great signal up untill last august (2016) . However since then, the reception has gone bad to worse. Cant get no incoming phone calls not can i make any calls . Even if the calls come through if at all, the person on the other side cannot hear me at all.
                                      I have been called their open network not less than 4 times, after which i had to write to the nodal officer. After that email, there was only one person who came to the location just to survey. After that there has been no action from Airtels side at all whatsoever. THey just keep extending by saying they are putting up a tower in the area (really i should wait for them to do that??) and several other such replies. I have not received any concrete replies on when they will resolve this issue. Asked them to install boosters at the location instead of me waiting for them to install their towers. Yet no reply or action on the same. Every time i placed a call i would receive an sms about two days later informing that the problem was solved...REALLY without anyone visiting or knowing what the issue is, the problem was solved.

                                      I sent my last email again as a reminder on FEB 3, 2017 (1 and a half month since my first email) and yet no reply from them . Dont seem they care about normal users . Infact we have more than 5 numbers of airtel cellular and 6 numbers of airtel landlines in that location and they do not care.
                                      It is surprising, since when they did call me in December, they were themselves unable to hear me due to the issues of the network.

                                      Its really ridiculous to know that a company of AIRTEL's stature would handle such situations with such laxity and utter carelessness. I am really surprised to see that the NOdal officers do not bother to resolve such issues affecting their client base.

                                      I have ported my number from Vodafone to Airtel.My network got changed on Oct 7th 00.30 am .But I was not receiving any incoming /text messages and data was not activated.Only outgoing was activated .When I contacted the customer care, they said there was some technical issues with my sim and it would get resolved in 4 hours and I have escalated this to my technical team.
                                      I called after 4 hours and I got the same response .Whenever I called they said it will get resolved by today evening or tomorrow.

                                      On oct 9th, They finally found the issue was due to circle mismatch.

                                      The sales person who processed my porting has updated my circle as Chennai circle by mistake instead of Tamilnadu circle .

                                      They have started the whole process from the beginning on Oct 9th and they told it will get activated by tomorrow morning ie Oct 10th morning.

                                      But today Morning, Oct 10th i got a call to the alternate number which I provided asking me to send my proof .But they should have asked me to send the proof on oct 9th itself which they failed .

                                      Still there is no progress in activation.
                                      How come a Network like Airtel can have such a poor customer service .
