First date of complaint via their Open netowek was last year in August.
Official email sent to the nodal officer regarding unresolved issue December 19th 2016.
Its been a painfull process to have airtel even consider the issue that i am facing at my location with regards to the network signal. I used to receive great signal up untill last august (2016) . However since then, the reception has gone bad to worse. Cant get no incoming phone calls not can i make any calls . Even if the calls come through if at all, the person on the other side cannot hear me at all.
I have been called their open network not less than 4 times, after which i had to write to the nodal officer. After that email, there was only one person who came to the location just to survey. After that there has been no action from Airtels side at all whatsoever. THey just keep extending by saying they are putting up a tower in the area (really i should wait for them to do that??) and several other such replies. I have not received any concrete replies on when they will resolve this issue. Asked them to install boosters at the location instead of me waiting for them to install their towers. Yet no reply or action on the same. Every time i placed a call i would receive an sms about two days later informing that the problem was solved...REALLY without anyone visiting or knowing what the issue is, the problem was solved.
I sent my last email again as a reminder on FEB 3, 2017 (1 and a half month since my first email) and yet no reply from them . Dont seem they care about normal users . Infact we have more than 5 numbers of airtel cellular and 6 numbers of airtel landlines in that location and they do not care.
It is surprising, since when they did call me in December, they were themselves unable to hear me due to the issues of the network.
Its really ridiculous to know that a company of AIRTEL's stature would handle such situations with such laxity and utter carelessness. I am really surprised to see that the NOdal officers do not bother to resolve such issues affecting their client base.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
