I have AirTel broadband from past 10 years and I have never see this problem where in which the data consumption automatically reduces even when I am not at all using the broadband. I am seeing this strange behavior from last 5 months where in which when I check the data remaining on my broad band, using just a mobile phone as single client, within no time the data starts coming down. I first lodged a complaint with customer care at 121, but very sad to say that, the person from other end not able to provide any sort of help as why is this happening. I got suspicious about this and for next billing cycle, I didnt connect to broadband at all but kept the modem ON all the times. Using my mobile data, i started monitoring the data balance on my broadband and to my surprise the data was automatically coming down in GBs in hour. I have a 60 GB data plan and this becomes 0 within 4 days even when no device is connected. I have also changed the password on my modem/router before i started my experiment. I called customer care again and informed them about this behavior but after a long discussion the representative told me if I am not happy with the service I can discontinue. This is very rude. I will definitely discontinue your service but I want you to pay me back my last 5 months bills back and also a penalty for cheating me by stealing my data even when I am not using it. AirTel is cheating the customers big time and think they can do whatever they wish. They think they can cheat people and no one will come to know this. Thanks to technology, AirTel will be blacklisted with all the evidences. This is such a bad company that does not have capable technical people who can address the issues, rather they are good in cheating their customers. Please pay me back my last 5 months bills on my broadband and also answer to my question on who is stealing my data? I am sure it is your trick to make me fool by saying i need to take more data package. Because I have turned down every call that came to me from customer care stating I have exhausting my data very soon and they have offer me next data plan for additional cost. Because I am not ready to accept their offer, they are cheating this way. I need an explanation from AirTel on this on priority and pay me back before I go to media and make sure all people across the country come forward and show all your cheating cases.

Mr Anil, the issue is still not solved as either the technical team or your back end team not able to solve this. Please don't quote false statements such as resolution...I am not paying the bill for sure and put a notice to Airtel to pay back my last 5 payments . Since you have failed to solve this problem, I have decided to show how Airtel data meter tempers the data even when there is zero devices connected to the broad band, through media. Sorry to say this but all people should know how cheating happens with Airtel and this might be a lesson to all those ISPs who temper their data usage meters and fool customers.
And today, from no where my data balance is showing up as 100GB even though my new billing cycle starts only on 26th. My data was shown exhausted on Dec 5th itself for the cycle, Nov 26th to Dec 25th. I had raised the complaint on 7th Dec here. And several calls with the backed teams till last Saturday on this issue. But today, amidst current billing cycle, I see a 100GB data though my plan is only for 60GB. This clearly shows the Airtel data meter is completely tempered. Please check the attached screenshot.
This is not resolved yet. Please dont close it as resolved. Please call me and tell me on two things. 1) what measures have you taken to give the right status on data usage 2) when are you returning my 5 months bill amount which I have paid when the data usage was tempered

I have stopped paying my current outstanding for two months as there is a credit with you already. Please call and resolve this me or drop me an email for the purpose of record. You have not done both.

    I had done recharge of rupees 298 for internet peck about 3 months ago but I didn't got the data and after that I complaint in custermer care for that concern and they told me to wait for 72 hours but again I didn't got any response till 10 days and again I call them to refund back my money but they again give me complaint id C3GSP[protected] AND I also, one of their senior executive abuse me and I have that recording also which I would like to present in the court and I think I should get my rights.

        Have applied for broadband and due to full of dp in my area they did'nt give me broadband service. Every time when i applied for refund their executives give false reference numbers and after that they give excuses like technical issue and did not refund my money. My bearing account no. [protected] & telephone no. [protected].

        After complaint in consumer helpline One of airtel executive call me on my number and said you will get the refund on 30th november. But this fraud Company Never give my refund.

        In Airtel Store the Advisor told me your payment has not post in my CEF Form . But Airtel's Employee took 1000 from me and didn't send money to company.

        Please take legal action against all of them. Even Consumer Court didn't help me They only give appeliate dept. mail id. Also Appeliate dept. have not resolve my Issue.

        This is Fraud Company. Please don't trust them

          We went for a broadband connection with fixed line option. #49585796 by paying six months advance. Unfortunately we had to shift the house just three roads away from the old house. repeated requests to Airtel customer care, responded with the reply that in the new place, broad band is not feasible. i have paid six months in advance, hardly used for two months, requests for refund rejected saying that the refund cannot be given

            I recharged my mobile with Rs265 for 3G/4G thorugh My airtel app on the 28th Nov. There was an exclusive offer of 1.5GB for recharges done through my airtel app for that price . However I got only 1GB credited to my account. I complained twice with customer care, but they mention the benefit has been credited to the account, but still i don't see anything.
            Feel like being cheated on the recharge and the customer service is so pathetic, they take us for granted and close the case without any proper resolution

            I am currently travelling and the International roaming on my Airtel Prepaid number is very erratic. Some days it logs into the local (T Mobile) network, other days it does not after I switch on the phone.

              My name is abhishek singh. I was having my airtel no [protected], the sim was used by other person who accidentally has all my id proof. So without my permission he has change the ownership of the sim to his name and after that he also has done portability and shifted to some other network. When i called airtel customer care they told they can't help as the sim is registered to some other person name. Plz look in to this case. As he mis used my proof. And transferred the sim under his name.

                I am an airtel post customer since 7 years. I am not liking the service (call drops, internet problem) in recent times so I decided to switch to prepaid and use some other network as primary number. I went to Airtel Store (2 weeks ago), Lingampally for conversion, they said they have some service related issue so asked me come after two days, I went after two days and four days as well the same answer from them. So again I visited Airtel Store, Gachibowli today, they asked me to get the token when I initially asked for the postpaid to prepaid conversion. I got the token and I waited for 45 then I got my chance and explained the executive the same, he replied me the same answer, we have problem in postpaid to prepaid conversion. He is giving rude answer when I asked why did you asked me to get the token when I asked initially.

                I really upset with the network service as well as customer relationship airtel store's maintaining. Please convert my postpaid number to prepaid number asap

                  My phone number is [protected]. Prepaid service.
                  I searched in my airtel app for best offers and I found ₹145, which gives 2GB 3G/4G data for 28days. But after recharging I got only 500MB.

                  Why? For whatsoever reason, I need 2GB data or refund the money back.

                    I have ordered a broadband connection on 04.12.2016. The referrence number is TBLR7276342. Its the 4th day and still there is no call or confirmation sms regarding when i will get the broadband connection. I called the customer care and they asked me to send a mail to airtel generic id [protected]@airtel.com. Once i dropped a mail, i received a reply like this

                    Please note, due to some unavoidable circumstances, there will be delay in our response. We will try
                    and respond to you within 2 days.

                    We appreciate your patience.

                    Dear Airtel, Why there is so much time needed to process a request. You are sending your representatives in an hour to collect documents or payment. But why the same speed is not reflected in the service? I am requesting you to provide the broadband as soon as possible.

                        Now it was not in use for more than three month. When I tried to use it seems it is deactivated. I tried to call customer care but they also were not able to guide correctly.

                          Hello Team,

                          Current Billing cycle for my postpaid number:[protected] from 5th Dec 2016 to 4th Jan 2017 started, but I can see in airtel website, data is not updated, still unbilled amount is increasing and std and local min for previous billing cycle 5th Nov 2016 to 4th Dec 2016 is reflecting.

                          On 4th Dec 2015 night, my unbilled amount was Rs. 9.5 and I had remaining std, local and data balance and on 5th Dec 2016(new billing cycle started), I have checked on airtel site and where I have seen unbilled amount was Rs. 62.5.

                          Then I have raised the concern to your team and they told me that It was some technical issue and the same will be resolved within 2 days.

                          Today i.e. on 6th Dec 2016, I have seen unbilled amount of Rs.105.

                          Could you please take strict action against them, why this type of issue I am getting from airtel.

                            अभी ५ दिन पहेले मुझे एयरटेल से समस आता है की आपका एयरटेल का रीचार्ज हुआ है एंड शाम को मेरे पर काल आती है की ये नंबर मेरा है में जानना चाहता हूं की जब में इस नंबर को BSNL में चला रहा हूं तो आपकी कंपनी ने इसको दोबारा कैसे निकाल दिया |

                            कृपया मुझे जल्दी उत्तर दे अन्यथा में FIR करने को मजबूर हो जाऊंगा क्युकी मेरा नंबर मेरे साथ साथ कोई और भी उसे कर रहा है|

                              My self shaik nazirulla, i have applied for mnp (Mobile number portability) for existing number [protected] from bsnl network to airtel network. One of your airtel open a stall near bkguda par, balamkpet - hyderabad. Applied to mnp on 21 nov 2016.

                              They charged rs 150/- for mnp and said it will take four working days to convert to airtel. They said call charges will be like: airtel to airtel - 10ps/min, airtel to other network 25ps/min and 200 minutes free calling charges for each month upto 6 months. By hearing that we had gone to mnp.
                              It is already 06dec 2016, it has not changed to airtel.
                              Please take immediate action and teach the people a lesson for providing us a flase information. We are losing hope on airtel day by day.

                                I had an issue with my airtel setup box and contacted digital tv support. The next day airtel technician came and informed that he would need to swap the box next day. It happened on 03Dec2016. So far the technician has not come and no updates from Airtel. On 03-Dec-2016 Evening, They closed ticket (ref no[protected]with problem resolved. When i contacted, Airtel support person explained that if technician visits house, he can close the ticket irrespective whether the solution is offered or not. Later they again opened case with the title "wrong resolution".Till now no response nor solution offered. so i asked for disconnection on 05Dec. Airtel support team have taken the request and told me that they would refund the amount after a call from higher officials. Till now no updates.

                                Support team redirects to escalation team. Escalation team blames service team. Service team says Agent issue. At the end customer left with no solution for a week.

                                Now after disconnection request, i am not able to call customer care as their IVR rejects call as invalid number.

                                I request Airtel digital tv support team to refund the balance amount as per their norms. i have learnt a lesson that i should never ever use Airtel anymore.

                                  I requested for transfer of my broadband connection on 26-Nov-2016 and I was told, it will be done in 5 days. But its been 10 days now, and nothing happened yet. I tried to reach out the customer support regarding this. But they always say that it is getting delayed, due to technical problems, and say that it will be resolved on the same day.

                                  Can somebody help me with this. I don't want to go for a different connection.

                                    Hi Sir,

                                    I have been using AIRTEL Postpaid connection till Nov 2015, as I planned to move to Australia, I requested to cancel my connection in airtel customer care center (Kanakapura Road) on 20th Nov 2015, but it was not cancelled and I was receiving bills and I could see that the connection is still in active state. I raised a Complaint about this on 4th of DEC 2015 to the Customer care center, somebody named Satish from cancellation department told me that it would be cancelled within 24hrs. On 5th Jan 2016 I saw that it was still active, So I called up the customer care center on the same day, they told me to clear the outstanding, which I was not at all using still I cleared on the same day through online payment & the call was transferred to same person Satish from cancellation department, he regretted for the inconvenience & again told that he would ask the concern department to cancel it & he assured that it would be cancelled within 24hrs. It was deactivated the next day, however I could see it active state now on 15th of JAN. Now I am staying in Sydney (AUSTRALIA) and I will not able to use the sim card nor talk to customer care, I kindly request to you cancel my Airtel postpaid Connection immediately.
                                    My postpaid connection number is: [protected]
                                    Consider this as my authorization to cancel my connection and please cancel my connection immediately and deactivate my sim card.

                                        We have switched from Idea to Airtel from 26/11/2016. We have negotiated and made deal with Ms. Mona Makadia([protected]) at Rajkot Gujarat.
                                        out of total 25 nos. there were 3 data cards and for these data card she has confirmed 3 devices at free of cost. But till the date we are not in receipt of the same. Even airtel people are not answering the call now and our rent is been started. without devise it was not useful so we have procured alternate service and ask them to stop those 3 cards but there are neither provided device for data cart nor they are ready to cancel the same.

                                        We are feeling like being cheated and suffer a lot with this services.

                                        Request to take corrective action for the same.

                                        There is of Rs1000/- mentioned as activation charges in the bill. I have already paid this Rs1000/- charge through check no 084765 date 01 nov 16 icici bank clear 05 nov 2016 BHARTI AIRTEL Before the connection was installed.
                                        Airtel person c0llected amount for porting a post paid. connection on mob [protected] and never came back now his ph no not traceable I will complain to telecom ministry via pg portal if not sorted out within 2 days. I have also issues in past let you answer to tthe ministry if not done ir duty
