I use an airtel prepaid sim for last few years. I am getting smses from airtel regularly (In last few months) which state that as i have a 4g handset, i can upgrade my sim to 4g & use 1gb free 4g data for 28 days. Few months back i got a call from airtel & the executive offered the same (I. E. Free 4g sim) but i refused as i thought the service in my area was not up to the mark.

On 28-nov-2016, i got a call from airtel again & the executive told me that i would get a 4g sim & 1gb data for free without changing my number at my residence. That happened on 30-nov-2016 but i was in office then. So the executive who delivered it told me to call him once i get back to home so he can activate that sim. I got back & found the sim which was received by my mother. Then i called the executive & followed his instructions & he activated the sim. When i replaced the old sim with the new one (According to his instructions), i was able to check my balance which was rs 166. He also told me that i will get 1 gb free 4g data. I changed the settings to access mobile data to the new sim (It is in 2nd sim slot). Then i started using it to access internet.in the afternoon on 01-dec-2016 i got a message that my balance is deducted for mobile data usage. Then i checked my balance and found that it had come down to rs 26 (Approx.). I realised that they had deducted my balance for data usage though actually offering 1gb 4g data for free. I called the executive who delivered & activated the sim to tell these things. He was surprised & advised me to call customer care to get the matter sorted out & get the balance back.

I called 198 (Complaints only no.) @00:20 am today & told everything in detail to the customer care executive but he told me that the reason is i have no data pack activated & i have to recharge to activate the same. Then i stressed that i am getting the smses regularly stating the free 4g offer & i have accepted the new sim as the executive told the same. Then the customer care executive tried to confuse me by saying that it is some handset bundled offer. But i clearly told him that it was never mentioned (In sms or by the executive who offered it). Then i clearly told him that they have cheated me & asked him if it was my fault that the free data was not activated. He told me to stay on line as he was transferring the call to his senior. Then some recorded message about the airtel app started playing repetitively & the call got disconnected after some time. Please do the needful to resolve this issue asap so that i get the balance back & the free data is activated.

I think they are fooling the customers in this way regularly so please address this complaint. Thanks.

The amount had been already deducted from my account and so fat it has not reflected in my mobile.         Hello,
        I had been to airtel retailer near my house & bought a new sim for the same number and i was told that new sim would be activated in 6 hours, but even after 7+ hours no activation. Old sim card got deactivated and new sim says "sim card registration fails". When i visited airtel retailer again, they were giving me reason like airtel server is busy and nobody is able to even make payments etc. What am suppose to do now? I even...

        I had requested to surrender airtel post paid connection with the details on 20 october 2016 at their vellayambalam, thiruvananthapuram, kerala out let from where i have purchased the sim. Phone no [protected]. They had accepted my request and distoryed the sim in front of me. But airtel continued the connection and kept on sending false bills. The customer care executives behave indiffently and said my number is still active.

        I also need to stop harassment by airtel customer care.

          I shifted from delhi to Bangalore on 5th Nov 2016 and went to airtel office to port my number state. after submission my documents there was no communication from airtel for the updates and finally I called them still no reply and ultimately took the issue to facebook and there also after 3-4days they told me that request was cancelled due to xyz reason which they don't know. the whole process took 3 weeks during which I was using my number on roaming. So airtel gave me a discount of rs.300/- verbally on phone which I have not yet received on my account.
          I submitted my documents again which today I came to know that got rejected and to be precise I went to airtel office where I got to know that. Airtel didn't have any policy to tell the customers that their request has been cancelled.
          And to my not so surprise all airtel people are giving different reason for the cancellation. One said that Vodafone bill is pending because may be less than a year back I ported this number form vodafone to airtel which happened but now suddenly they realized that some pending amount was there.
          Its almost a month and I am using my number on roaming for no reason. I don't want to pay the airtel bill now because why should I. This type of services if they provide then better to go for some other brands rather than this stupid no sense company and reasons.

            I am having issue with Airtel broadband for the last 3 months now. Every 5-10 days, broadband stops working. I need call the customer care and keep complaining. ALso, they do not fix the issue after 1 call. For the latest complaint[protected] i raised on 28th Nov, they fixed it on the same day, and again the broadband stopped working on 29th Nov. I complained again, and they opened the ticket. The issue is still not fixed, and i keep getting message from airtel "As per our discussion, your complaint resolution has been rescheduled." Even though I have not had any such discussion.

            Please fix the permamantly. I cannot go through this every 5-10 days.

              I have once used airtel dongle in india and six month i am in usa.
              I have numerous time asked to disconnct the dongle .But airtel is refusing to disconnect the dongle because as per them I have to come and physically do it in airtel branch. They are continuously sending me bill without the dongle being used.

                Can't making any ISD call though i have enough money and i have recharged the ISD promo pack.i can make local call now.but there is a problem in making ISD call.i have called your customer care, they suggested me to restart the mobile and to insert my sim card into another handset.bt neither of this are working.they told me to wait for 20 - 30 minutes bt there is prblm still now.please help me as soon as possible

                  Reactivation of my prepaid mobile number

                  Dear team,

                  I have an Airtel prepaid mobile number since Jan 2015. I am currently outside India and I had been receiving incoming messages during all this time. However, since Saturday, 12 Nov, 2016, my sim stopped working.

                  When i inquired with Airtel on Monday 14 Nov, 2016 I was told that since i have not used my number for 90 days (no outgoing calls, incoming calls or outgoing message) my number is disconnected....

                  I very much believed in Airtel Telecom Services, but what happened me in past 2.5 months was worst part of your service.I ported my no. from Idea Haryana circle to Airtel Tamil Nadu circle in September, 2016. But from the day since i ported my no. I was unable to recharge my no. through retailer or using all other recharging apps including my airtel app.
                  From the past 2.5 months I am complaining my problem everywhere even at ARO (Airtel Relationship Office), Ascends, Taramani (Chennai). But no one is able to solve it. Its my Permanent No. registered everywhere. I am unable to make calls from this no. due to zero balance as it cant be recharged. And now unable to get an incoming call too, as now I am in roaming, again the problem is no balance to deduct roaming charges. So what is the use of such a sevice which I cant use. Also unable to port to another service provider, thats too again due to zero balance as it costs a message to get Unique Porting Code.
                  This is my last hope, pls solve my problem as soon as possible.

                    Dear sir,
                    It's been 4 days that my network is down. Neither there is network on Vodafone since 27th midnight 1:32 am not network is coming up on my new Airtel sim which I have received on the same day 27th. Complete network is down. Neither Airtel not Vodafone are taking responsibility of solving this problem. I have complained almost 4 times and had been calling them almost thrice a day trying to get a solution. Not even a single guy from Airtel is helping me out. Rubbish. They have been telling it will take 7 working days to activate the network after port out. But none of them are ready to explain me why they have disconnected my older network before activating the new network. They are just giving [censored] reasons everyday.
                    I want to put a case against them for their negligence, I have list all my calls since last 4 days. They should be penalised for this.

                      As per option provide by company i change my plan previously for reduce my bill amount, But last time airtel send me a high bill .after call customer care they disclose that 3 month rental was include in my bill at a time .i request to cancel this type of practice and change my bill. till today they i further complain 2 times but they do not call me .

                        Hi,

                        I had activated a 3month +15 day HD plan on 24 October which is supposed to run till feb but yesterday it got reset automatically to South super value prime without any intimation and I was charged 681 Rs. I lodged a complaint yesterday and they told me it will get fixed by today 11.30 am. Although the money has been refunded, my original 3 month + 15 day HD plan which is supposed to be running right now has not been restored. I have called customer care already about this but unfortunately they don't have or don't know anything and are telling me to wait till tomorrow morning which is unacceptable.

                        It has been nearly 2 days and I still can't view what I have already paid for (3 month +15 day HD plan).

                        I am Extremely Dissatisfied with the service provided and this non notified change and continuous delay in fixing it. This is blatant lack of professionalism.

                        Kindly get this fixed asap ( preferably today) and also give me 2 extra days worth of channels which I have lost due to no fault of mine.

                        Also I sincerely hope there is much more professionalism and agility shown in dealing with such requests because currently for a big company like Airtel, it's just not good enough.

                          I have applied for broadband and due to full of dp in my area they did'nt give me broadband service. Every time when i applied for refund their executives give false reference numbers and after that they give excuses like technical issue and did not refund my money. My bearing account no. [protected] & telephone no. [protected].

                          After complaint in consumer helpline One of airtel executive call me on my number and said you will get the refund on 30th november. But this fraud Company Never give my refund.

                          In Airtel Store the Advisor told me your payment has not post in my CEF Form . But Airtel's Employee took 1000 from me and didn't send money to company.

                          Please take legal action against all of them. Even Consumer Court didn't help me They only give appeliate dept. mail id. Also Appeliate dept. have not resolve my Issue.

                          This is Fraud Company. Please don't trust them

                            Fraud transaction has been done from my account by fraud people. They transferred 5000.00 Rs. from my account on 19th November at 5.00 PM.

                            I need refund of the fraudent transaction from my account to airtel money.

                              what a poor & inferior quality of service from air tell consumer grievances portal, i have been trying since yesterday at least 20 times for my grievances regarding prepaid recharging of my mobile card mobile no.[protected].I recharged of rs.270/-on dated 29/11/2016 & rs.29/-&on 30/11/2016.But money being debited but my card not recharged.The whole system siphoning money of customers.All this due to present governments decision on on line cashless transactions.Now air tell has deprived/deceived me to rs.300/-of recharging on online.Who will believe on line transaction from such fraudulent business.Even customer care/air tell do not bother about grievances.All untrained staff recruited every where in mobile galaries.

                                I have done a mobille recharge (Data pack) on 21st nov16 with the information from the shop M/S golden Choice the recharging outlet of airtel . The lapu no is [protected] in the name of Sanjay gupta Shop owner.The recharge has been done in my name with the information that the pack is for 145/- with data validity 28days and 1 GB.But i got the message that data is valid for only 3 days after recharge.I spoke to customer care but they said nothing can be done now. Please help in resolving the issue otherwise will go to consumer forum as the company is ditching the customers.

                                  At that time, I got a SMS that my recharge is successful but but read this.
                                  "Benefit is All local A2A mobile calls at 20p/min, validity 8 days."

                                    Airtel has deducted 540mb and something from my day data pack from my number [protected] when i am having night data too but the validity of night data is only till 9th dec whereas day data is 23rd dec and when i consulted Airtel on the topic the executive says 12:07 am data is deducted and forwarded the call to Sr. Executive and again he forwarded the call to supervisor and supervisor says that I haven't used after 12am . So no help will be provided . If you can help me regarding this issue from Airtel I'll be very thankful to you
