I did not get service from end of july 2016. I was out india and for 15 days after my return i kept trying to contact airtel customer care without success. Finally i got through but my complaint of "internet not working" was not resolved until sept 9. I was given a waiver of only rs 290 after many requests. Till today sept 28, 2016 the revised bill has not reached me. It was dispatched only two days back apparently by airtel. Yet i have been bombarded with smses and emails reminding me of the due payment date which is today.
I already issued a cheque to airtel last week which has not been presented to the bank. Airtel however claims the cheque was returned while the bank has no record of the cheque been presented for clearing.
This is a cheque for the month during which i had practically no internet service and for which i have still not received a bill. Repeated calls and emails to airtel have not proved useful.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
