I had given all my documents alongwith cheque towards broadband activation fee of rs 1000 to airtel executives name vikas - [protected]. He took my papers, but till date connection is not activated.

From 29th sept, vikas stopped answering my calls. He gave me no. Of manish ([protected]) through sms and asked me to contact manish.

When i tried manish, initially he answered the call on 3rd oct and updated me that broadband will be installed today i. E. 4th oct. Today i am trying to reach him, he is not responding to call. Even after dropping sms to him, he didn't respond.

Now at 4:45 pm, i tried manish's no. Through alternate no. And he responded to the call. Instead of dealing with the problem and providing a solution, he started arguing.

This is the treatment that we have gone before activation, not sure the level of service which will be provided post activation.

Even after writing to mr. Gopal vittal on his email id, my problem is not resolved.

While airtel 's accounts team is efficiently working and was quick in debiting my account for activation fee. Airtel customer service/ technical team has not bothered to take any action for activation.

    Hi,

    I took a airtel 4g sim on 5/10/16, i was promised that it will be activated within 24hrs, but till now it is not activated, i visited the airtel service centres but they did not take any action sincerely, kindly take any serious action otherwise I have only one option: to terminate the connection
    I cannot wait longer, we demand that airtel provide reliable customer service

      Amount of 1600/- deducted two times from my icici bank account but only one time payment has been posted against my airtel postpaid bill.

      My mobile no. - [protected]

      I have sent almost 20 mails to the airtel postpaid customer care team, shared with them my bank account statement showing that amount had debited been twice from my bank account and till date no credit of 1600/- has been given to me.

      I have forwarded them the mail from icici bank that bank has already declared payment was successful.

      Still airtel is not refunding my money

          Since last one month i am facing this issue. I have applied for porting of three numbers into airtel postpaid connection, out of these three only one has been activated but rest of the two are pending since last month. I don't know why they are taking so much time in verification as all the sims are in my name only. One of my number which was activated last week was already verified.
          Now i am really fed up with this airtel service. Customer care people are saying contact retailer & retailer people are saying contact customer care.
          Earlier my reference number was 71786813, now they have given a new number 71835861. But no action hasn't yet been taken.
          Everyday these customer care people creates a new request with no solution provided to the customer. But still there is no response from neither the retailer nor the customer care.
          The only number got activated was [protected]. I request you to please this issue.

            Hi,
            I am using Airtel mobile number[protected]. Now I changed this number to postpaid. Earlier it was prepaid. When it was prepaid, I recharged thru Airtel mobile application 2 times each Rs.250. But it did not get recharge. I compliant to Airtel customer care and also Airtel store at Ayyappanthangal, Chennai.
            They said there is no track for the payament. So, I reached HDFC credit card and got proof. I sent that also. But, still they didnot take any action.
            Also, now my outgoing call is going out after over due message by airtel.
            It is irritating me.
            I am trying to resolve this issue for the last 2 months. There is no proper response. I am frustrated. Please help on this issue and get back my Rs500/-.

            Hi,
            As soon as I registered the complaint, I received a call from the number[protected] and introduced himself as Sanjay calling from Airtel. And said, he got received the complaint and he will help me. He asked me the which bank account used for recharge. I said HDFC credit card. So, he asked CVV number of the card.
            I refused to tell the number but he forced me to tell the number. After that I received the OTP for AIRTMONEY transaction for Rs.5000/-. He asked the OTP. I didnot tell the number. He shouted at me and said he cancelled the complaint. Please verify this also.

              I already raised a complaint but since i am not able to track the complaint as a separate complaint in this site, i am adding below all the comments again here so that i can track it. I have updated below my conversations and the airtel replies . I have also currently sent a recorded conversation to airtel since they requested it. I have also requested airtel to check the recorded conversations that took place during mid april. I have provided the phone number from which i called and also the phone number to whom i called for closure. Airtel person said he will check and get back asap.

              We were using airtel broadband connection and we closed the connection on mid April. The account number was [protected]. Connection was in Radhakrishnan name and I am his son Manikandan posting this

              During that time. we called airtel and they mentioned we will close the connection but we will just keep the line so that if someone wants we will transfer it to someone else. WE clearly said we want to close and move on. The airtel person said " You dont need to pay anything sir. We will just keep the line. For you connection is closed by mid April itself" For that month airtel charged half the amount bill which is correct since we closed in mid april itself.

              But we still got the bill for May/ June / July/ August from airtel.

              Every month we called airtel and escalated the issue and everytime airtel representatives clearly said the mistake is on our side and we will close it. You dont need to pay anything sir. Please ignore the bill.

              Then during August month time, i contacted Kavitha (Identification no[protected]

              through the phone number[protected]. She clearly mentioned "You dont need to pay anything sir. I will send info to billing team"

              Then on sept 4th airtel called through the number [protected] and told us if we dont pay the amount in 2 days we will file a case in court.

              A person came to our home by the name of Murugan ([protected]) and collected the amount of Rs.1534 (This amount which we need not pay at all). The bill reference number is 4972304.

              I again contacted Kavitha and she said she will check and get back regarding this since this is not correct. Today she and her manager Joshua says they cant do anything regarding refund and asked me to send a mail to these mail ids.

              I have contacted airtel regarding this for the past 5 months continously and airtel has clearly stated in every call we need to pay anything but finally sent a person to home and collected the amount.

              We want refund of the amount since we need not pay at all. I am not able to contact the nodal officer through phone numbers since the account number is now not active, calls are not going through.

              I have all the recorded conversations i spoke with Kavitha on this. If you want to check you can check the recorded conversation from mid april on this account number and you will clearly get to know the details. We are looking at moving onto consumer court if we dont get the refund from airtel.

              If airtel asks to pay only half the amount for april since connection is closed in april itself, why are bills sent for remaining months. We were clearly said we dont need to pay anything and connection line alone will not removed for another 2 months so that if someone asks airtel will provide it to them.

              The above was sent as a mail to nodal team. they requested to send scanned bill as well as the recorded conversations. I sent everything i had but finally they stopped replying to the mails and they stopped calling me. The nodal team says "They cant check recorded conversations".

              Whats the point of recording each conversation if that cannot be checked back. We have been cheated by airtel on this and nodal team has been really worst with their replies.

              Airtel team is not ready to listen to any recorded conversations and keeps saying they cant find it which is absolute rubbish. They have not answered to the conversation that i have sent them via mail also.

              I have spoken to airtel during April mid and april end also. (Airtel says customer said to hold the connection during april mid but not ready to listen to that conversation also). I have also spoken to airtel during June/ July / September...I have already sent the conversation of september that i had with airtel representative by the name of Kavitha and also sent the identification number of her. Airtel has not responded at all to any of the above...They have not taken any steps for this and just keeps asking customer to provide more conversations. They record all customer care conversations which we all know but they are not ready to even listen to any of those conversations till now for this issue. This itself clearly shows airtel is interested in customer MONEY alone and not in customer satisfaction. I CHALLENGE airtel to come back with any recorded conversation from April to September and show me that issue is in my side. I completely regret for opting airtel..Extremely poor end user support.

              Airtel called a month back and the person who spoke to me said he will check and get back. Still i have not got a call back from airtel.

              Airtel says customer wanted to hold conection for 2 months from April. So airtel must have the conversation where customer accepted for this. Atleast listen to this conversation and getback. In this conversation itself you will clearly hear that airtel mentions to customer that customer need not pay at all and will just keep the connection so that someone else in the apartment can be given that connection if needed. By saying customer need not pay at all airtel has cheated the end customer and made the customer to pay for it and now they dont even want to know the truth and they are not even taking steps to listen to any recorded conversation and also they are not checking the conversation what the customer sent to them. They have not even replied for sending the conversation to them. Extremely poor customer care from airtel whose sole intention is to cheat the customer and not take any steps to help the customer...

              Request airtel to check this request 54476922 and see the recorded conversation based on this request number which was given to customer during April. Atleast now we hope airtel will take steps to check it out.

                  I was billed for my prepaid number [protected] and the same was debited from my account through smartpay option of my HDFC credit card as earlier my number was a postpaid one.
                  I have changed my postpaid connection in the month of August 2016.
                  Last time they charged me for internet charges which they found irrelevant and refunded me the extra amount which was charged as a talk time. I agreed only because I have changed my number to prepaid. But again they have generated bill and auto debited my account. This time I want my money back and not talk time.

                    From last 2.5 months i am using airtel postpaid. According to my bill plan i'll get 500mb 3g in every month. But still now i am not able to connect internet in my mobile but paying for this. I had lodge a complaint in customer-care (Verbal) on 16th sep 2016. I called them again and again, always they response me that "there is some technical problem, give us 24hrs to resolve" but still they don't resolve the issue. Yesterday i went to airtel mini store (Barasat) and update the sim card but that also not working. Please resolve the matter.

                    I received this mail from airtel on 6th Oct 2016 but still now there is no solution for that. I have talked to customer care atleast 25times about the issue but every time they say "give us 24hrs to resolve". But after that no communication happened from there end, where as i got atleast 5 mail and 5 SMS that saying about my bill.

                      [protected] is my prepaid number of delhi ncr circle. I got duplicate sim issued from aligarh, upw circle. But they are not activating this, saying that its other circle. However, there is specific kind of own retail store of airtel that addresses these kind of queries. But they don't have it in aligarh.

                      I am out of india, and no means to take the sim to delhi for activation.

                        I got cheated by airtel broadband sale team. i am facing a very bad experience with airtel broadband regarding speed. when i took my airtel broadband connection i asked them clearly about the 16mbps speed range in my area because i had doubt but that time they made me fool by saying 16 mbps is totally possible in your area. but from the first day i'm facing issues with the speed, i made a complain about that and and got confirmation from airtel technician that 16 mbps is not possible, after that i have communicated with the sales team but thay conveyed me by saying technician's doesn't know anything its totally possible. after that also i have logged multiple complains to airtel but no result, all the time they just say we will update from hear and you will get your speed, i don't know how that's possible but while doing these updates they eaten up my data also. airtel technician who visited to my home again confirmed its not at all possible to get 16mbps here.. it means airtel sales team just making people fool and committing in the air. simply i'm paying for 16mbps from last 3 months and utilizing just 4mbps.. now this is called a corporate style fraud. now airtel people telling sir please downgrade your speed to 8mbps. 16mpbs is not possible there. now i want a proper justification first of all why that time they said its possible when their own technician is telling its not possible not only now since beginning only.

                        And this is not the first time i got cheated by airtel. while taking connection they gave ma an offer that by showing airtel postpaid bill ill get 500 rs. off in first three bills. but at the of billing they said now this offer is expired it was there when you took it but now its not there, can some one explain me do we have to pay the bill at the time of connection or after one month. so if you remove the offer in between that's not my problem but again no results for this issues also but i managed somehow with this.

                        I'm not gonna pay any bill until my issues get resolved.

                          I have raised a request for migrating my post paid plan to pre paid and the request number for the same is 71564528 on 3rd oct. And my sim got deactivated on 4th oct. On enquiring regarding the delay, i couldn't get proper response from your airtel showroom (Madiwala).

                          I have tried contacting with your customer care for more than 15 times and spent more than 2 hrs talking to them, for activating my sim.

                          It is unfair to advertise your network to be an open network if you aren't able to give transparency why the migration is getting delayed for so long.

                          Could you please provide me the current status of the migration and a time line i could expect my sim will be activated again.

                            I had raised so many complaints with airtel customer care my4g connection.

                            Here is my initial mail when they didn't resolved it even after calling 2 times for 30 minutes explaining my problems

                            First of all before evening beginning to explain my issue.

                            I would like to mention that my experience with you folks has been so pathetic in terms of customer care and providing the services for which i am paying.

                            I had heard and experienced complete lack of professionalism from you folks in the past and other customer cares as well.

                            Anyways... Here are my issues and hope that these get resorted very soon.

                            1. I bought this plan on 18th aug 2016. Paid 5000/- and expected to use 100 gb worth of data. I was under the impression that the billing cycle was from the date of activation.

                            Now the things is from 18th aug 2k16 - 11th sep 2k16, it amounts to approximately 24 days and you guys have deducted approx 3984 from my paid 5000.

                            Now the catch is i had planned to use all of my 100 gb worth of data, but couldn't use it properly because the billing cycle reseted my available download for the month of sep-oct which begins at 11th or 12th every month.

                            First of all i wasn't aware of it.

                            Secondly because of this i couldn't use all of my data.

                            I talked to your customer care and after discussing with them i realized you charge it on a pro rated data per day approximately rs. 166 per day and not on the basis of data consumed.

                            I didn't get any data consumption on my sms on 50% usage or anything which means i have used definitely less than that. Meaning i paid a hefty amount of 5000 and didn't even used it because of this mis communication from your part.

                            I need a detailed clarification from your end and reimbursements accordingly asap.

                            2. Secondly when i bought the connection and paid 5k initially i was given a pemplate where another plan of 50 gb was there which i had decided to switch from next month billing cycle that is sep-oct. But when i talked to your customer care he mentioned that there is no such plan available.

                            I still have that pemplate with me and i can share the plans mentioned as well where 50 gb was for 2995.

                            Because of this confusion i can't even switch to this plan either and have to pay 5k to you for no reason.

                            3. I have complained to your customer care, your online protal for weak signals and engineer visit but no one has visited even after 4 complains.

                            4. Complaints made at your customer care or online portal have no way to be tracked. I logged request online as well but i can't see it anywhere which is so damn pathetic.

                            I need a detailed clarification from you folks on this matter asap, else i am planing to switch back to my previous provider which i have disabled temporarily. Infact there are better plans in market than what you guys are claiming.

                            I had called and even got request number when i talked a guy named arif who very confidently gave me a request and tracking number and when i called back again with that number, i was told that there is no such request.

                            Ofcourse that guy's name wouldn't have been arif in real but who ever that fraud was basically he represented you guys and that shows your over all professionalism.""""

                            I have never seen such pathetic customer care experience.
                            I was so interested in continuing my services but due such a weird experience i would hardly use or suggest airtel services to anyone.

                            I wanted to change my plan for so long only after discussing with these guys and over charging me for what i never planned to.

                            I won't be paying a single penny for airtel's mistake.
                            worst customer care for handling a customer and causing such a bad experience that i finally decided to disconnect my plan and the worst part is that these guys don't even acknowledge the same.

                              First of all since last 20 day frequently signal loss is there.
                              This time it was the height.
                              I was fedup so i stopped recharging and jst waiting for any singal.
                              Just 2 days before i have got some proper signal, so then i have decided to recharge my account again but this time again after recharging i have lost my dth signals.
                              Finally decided to file complaint for this to airtel dth costumer center.
                              I have made my first call on 4 oct 2016 to airtel costumer care he told me that "sir recently server is down call me in the next morning again on 5 oct 2016 i made second call regarding signals problem... I get response that engineer will vist at my place till evening but no engineer visited... Again i made my third call on that same evening now the response is"sir engineer will visit at your place on 6 oct2016 before 10am"... But i haven't received any response from any engineer... Again i made my fourth call this time the response is"sir engineer unable to contact u "now the condition is i have to wait for airtel engineer till 4:30pm with all my important jobs apart.
                              Also i have to charge rs150 for his visit... Also m charged with rs7 per day for my no receiving signal setup box... And i have to wait for airtel engineer he can call me anytime and i have rush for him leaving my works behind so that he can repair that signal problem.
                              Seriously pathetic service provided from airtel which is promising the best network in india. M loosing money m loosing time. Loosing my work... Still hoping for engineer visit.

                                    On 21st September I have raised a request for new broadband connection..On 22nd September the concerned person collected the documents and collected advance money of 1000 in cash.After a couple of days I'm getting a call regarding there is no feasibility in my area and my advance Money will be refunded within three working days.Still there is no update about refunding process.

                                      I called at 121 on 5th july from my landline and placed a request to discontinue my broadband services with immediate effect and change my plan to minimum normal landline phone calls. After getting confirmed no change was made. Kept on recieving calls from airtel collection agents but no one paid heed to my request. Than they guided me to call at 198 and place your griveance. I did the same on 24th sept. From my mobile and was on line for 45 mins. With the executive but still no result. This is a gross negligence on part of airtel i am there consumer for the last 8 years and paid all my bills. I am still ready to pay my bill provided they correct the same from july '16 onwards. I haven"t used a single kb data of theirs since 5th july. There agents keep on coming with various options like getting the bill reduced by 60 % if you pay now but i do not need any charity. I will all my dues for the period till 5th july '2016 and after that only for landline charges. My landline phone is disconnected by airtel but still getting the bill for which no services being provided by your company. Kindly resolve the matter.

                                      My main balance (above 150 rs) & net balance (15 gb above 1495 recharge and night internet .99 gb ) is tottally showing zero value so unable to call anybody and internet was not working.
                                      Please resolve this issue as early as possible

                                        I am very frustrated with the service I am receiving right now just for getting the broadband connection. I submitted the forms and documents on Thursday last week. I was promised that connection will be live by Saturday. It is wednesday and still there is no response. It became my duty to call the people in hsr layout each and every day to find out the status of the connection.

                                        Now they are not even picking up the call. It is a shame for a leading network operators to provide such a pathetic service.

                                        Now I am stuck with dilemma if I should I wait for these invisible agents to put up the connection or if I should quit Airtel and opt for act or some local connection.

                                        I have no idea if these guys actually take things seriously or you see these kind of mails everyday given the level of service you provide.

                                        The worst part is I was flooded with calls when I first filled the form online and once I paid the deposit, nobody even care to contact me.

                                        I look it up online and i see lot of people are facing this issue. I think it is more of a scam to cash the deposit of Rs. 1000. They collect the amount and delay the connection process and after 10-15 days, they say this is not feasible and say they will refund in 30 days and nothing happens.
