Next day i got a call from for submitting my documents and paying installation amount. I submitted my documents and paid 1000/-rs to the airtel person. He informed me that my connection will be installed within 3 days but it was not installed for 15 days also. I have been a very long customer of airtel and as they are forcing all to discontinue iptv, i called the 121 customer to enquire about the refund and i was told the whole amount 1750 +500 =2250 inr has been charged as activation charges whereas i was told at that time if you disconnect you will be refunded the amount of set top box. It;s a pure cheating with so many customers as no one would have those papers with us. Why such a big company like airtel has to come to this level to fraud and looting people openly. They just want to fool around people by not refunding the amount.

    I have ported my number [protected] from tata docomo to airtel.
    The application provided for mnp from my side is on 06.08.2016 in liberty airtel showroom kodambakkam chennai.

    Yesterday i received message from number 1901stating that my number will be ported into airtel by 16.8.2016 22.11 minutes. My tata services had been already disconnected then i have put the airtel sim card but still now there is no coverage for my ported number.

    When i called the customer care in the morning they asked me to wait for completion of 7 working days but i told them i got the message they informed me it will take 48 hours to activate my sim card then i really got upset as all my financial as well as personal details are related to this number then they provided nodal office number.

    Then i tried contacting the nodal office and its found that sim number submitted by the airtel outlet was different to the one provided to me and now to activate this new sim number they informed me it will take 24 hours.

    After a long conversation miss. Ezhin confirmed me that sim will be activated in next four hours since i dont have any alternate contact number i provided my office land line number to contact me, after 4 hours also i didnt got the activation so i called again this time mr. David spoke and he confirmed me that in next one hour backend team will call after that too no call received then again i called this time miss. Fathima spoke with me and she is saying it will take 48 hours to rectify their fault.

    Actually they are not taking any action seriously because this is not a new sim card all the emergency and financial related items are associated with this number only for me, this shows how they are reluctantly performing their job.

    I am planning to raise a compensation against them for the loss occurring for me because all my financial stock exchange other related items fully stopped as i dint have otp from bank.

    Yesterday evening after making all the complaint a call received from Airtel outlet where i brought the SIM stating that they have activated other SIM card which is in their hands, But when i asked why you didn't informed me about this change as the SIM activation would have been done before forwarding my request to Docomo they are not having any proper response just asked me to come to Kodambakkam branch before 8PM where the call to me received around 6.30, then i have rushed as i need to travel 25 Km to reach the Kodambakkam outlet.They have provided the New sim card stating that this is activated but i checked there itself in the showroom but that SIM card also not working. Mr.Diwakar in that outlet asked me to come 11 AM tomorrow morning.

    But strictly said them i cannot come because to brought SIM itself that outlet made me to visit their branch 4 times stating that they have only postpaid MNP sim is there after having long conversation only they have provided this new SIM but still that didn't working still.

    For two days i am without my number no body able to contact me, i am suffering a huge loss. I am not sure that Airtel at least provide activated sim card by today. Sure ill lodge this loss against Airtel. As i do have all the proof of recording in my hand.

    Today from Airtel store kodambakkam the person brought the SIM card but still they are saying it will take 48 hours to activate this sim card which is really unbearable as all my personals are belonging to this number only because of the fault from Airtel store people i am unable to use my personal number from 16.8.2016 22.11 onward and if still it take 48 Hours i will suffering a total time of 84 hours.
    Will Airtel allow any one of the postpaid number to operate for 84 hours without bill payment ?

    Then what the hell these people doing on to the customer?

      Its has been 4 days for reinstallation for dth tv setup box. I called many time (12150). Everyday they commit someone will come. But no body come here for reinstallation of dth box.

      Many message comes, tried calling or reaching you but failed even without trying me call. I have miss call alert also never received any message for miss call.

      I do not how what exactly problem it is. No body tells what is problem. Every one tells that in 2 hours some one will come, problem will be solved.

      But not resolved yet.

          Hi, I applied for a broad band connection at Chennai. Airtel alloted and Phone No. [protected] A/c No.[protected]. and paid the amount of ₹1000 by cheque No. 000094 debited from my bank account on Dt. 05/07/2016. After all this Airtel technician found out there is not feasible in my area for broadband connection and they close the job. I requested them to refund my amount. I am following this issue with customer care and then submit complain to nodal team by mail also but haven't got any proper response from any one. It has been almost 2 months now and still i am not getting my refund amount.

          For my identity verification purposes i provided all details and updated the my bank details in www.airtel.in/online refund as per their mail communication with Cust.service Ref.No.[protected].

          I need to solve this issued and get my refund amount urgently.

            My [protected] airtel number not proper work i do use card swap machine but machine its not working i do complaint icici bank manager but manager feed back are u r landline phone not supported. And bank manager some fax tone number 6500307, 6500306, [protected]. But not receive faxtone. I have use 4 airtel connection all three connection is work properly but this number[protected] not work on card swap machine. I do many times of complaint airtel customer care "198" airtel commit solve my problem but my problem not solve in between do the compliant 2 months. But airtel not a proper answer and not give the solution. I m totally frustrated of this problem. Some time year liar airtel engineer mr. Arif khan [protected]. Commit the solve my problem but last one week not pickup my call.

            I request please focus of my complaint.

              Dear airtel

              My name is lawrence and i am using ur airtel mobile connection, 4g dongle and dth.

              I am writing to you for dth connection and my customer id is [protected]

              I would like to inform you that i am very much dissatisfied with the service provided by airtel. Be it dongle, mobile or dth and this is the last mail before i look for other option

              I am having connection issues with my dth for more than a month. I have called customer service and they scheduled an engineer visit but it never happened. The last one being booked for 13th august but till date no one from airtel called or visited

              The issue which i am facing is some of the channels which i have subscribed for gets an error message b001 error code after 9:30pm every night. For example zee cinema, sony max, ten 1 star sports 4 etc. However the other channels works fine without any error.

              The customer care people neither seemed to understand the problem and kept on saying weather issues, set top box issues etc etc. If it was really weather or stb issue then how the other channels are working fine then?

              I have run out of patience now and thinking of reaching out to the highest level before i end all relations with airtel.

              Please remember that i am a corporate customer of airtel mobile with two numbers, airtel 4g dongle which never gives 4g speed, and also the dth.

              I hereby request you to kindly look into this issue with high importance or let me know if you cannot do anything about it.

              The stb takes about 20-25 minutes which comes up with the b001 error message. I called a technician on 20th january 2016. He came changed something charged me 150 and went away. The issue did not get resolved. The problem still persists. Nowadays i do not completely shutdown the stb as it takes a lot of time to view the channels after the error message has gone.

              Seriously, is this what airtel is all about. Pathetic connection and worst customer service ever.

                I have deposited 1000 rs for a new connection. 10 days has been passed but request has not been processed. Customer care executives are not picking cal or if they pick then after listening to my issue they disconnect the cal kindly look into the matter and sort it out as soon as possible. Neither they are refunding my amount nor they are giving me connection previously they told me that they have a service for my location now they are saying no service there they are misguiding. They did this for making customer fool and taking 1000 rs.
                I have the tblr no that is required for a new connection and that is :-7191887.

                    I had e-mailing every detail on the [protected]@in.airtel.com & every time a new e-mail gets generated, every time new person responds, so every time it is expected that you need to provide all the details, this is very frustrating, i have been struggling to ask you guys to provide what was committed on the plan & was having problem staring this month.
                    You guys are working on these issues since 11th of August, & provided to complete the same by 16th of August, however today on 17th of August, i get the question that i was referring to the data card & not the mobile plan, this is very shocking, and how you guys are handling the customer. Actual complaint was for the data plan on mobile handset.
                    appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com - does not accept more than one e-mail, it just bounces back stating that the mailbox is full.
                    My relationship number is [protected], is this going to get resolved in timely manner, how much time does it really take, so many back & forth on e-mail, doesn't care if customer gets pain, i am just horrified by the services provided by Airtel, this was never expected by Airtel.

                    Everyday & every time, a new person comes in, lack of responsibility, do you have one?
                    This has been pending & no resolution since 10th of August, almost 10 days now.
                    I have only requested to provide what is in my plan, is this a challenge? Then you should not have started with the plan?

                    Check your records, i have visited Andheri Branch on 10th of August & they could not resolve, they could only correct my e-mail id, i have now marked e-mails to the id mentioned above provided by you, forwarded old e-mails to this id as well.

                    Resolution is not provided, asked to escalate the matter, seems you guys do not respond properly. No improvement in the services you provide. It was already told to you that my monthly billing plan starts on 20th & you call up today asking if everything works ok, this is really not acceptable, i have shared this on e-mail with you, also i will again come back to you as soon as this month 300MB get completed. Are you guys really have any ownership, i see a total lake of ownership in Airtel? Do you have one?

                      Without any email notification my number [protected] was disconnected, nor was i given any chance to reply regarding the same. I just received a call while i was traveling, saying that since some promotional smses were sent from my number, its being disconnected.

                      Although i have not been using this number for promotional purposes (Which has been with me for 6 years now), and do not intend to do so in the future, a few smses were sent from my number last week during the testing of my new app launch which asked a few vendors to install our newly developed app. But it was not a regular affair!

                      Since this number is associated with a lot of bank accounts and other portals, request you to activate the number for one week, so that i can get a new number in all these services after contacting them, after which i will voluntarily give up all the airtel services. I have already requested for giving up our airtel broadband service as well due to this.

                      In case there is a way to activate the number permanently with declaration from my end that no more smses that sound vaguely promotional will be sent, let me know how that can be done. I have been a regular customer of airtel for more than 6 years and would like to end it permanently on a happy note!

                        The airtel number [protected] (Which i owned 6 months back and no more mine) need to be deactivated right now asap.
                        I asked you guys to do it the minute i left bangalore but you guys didn’t. What kind of response it this?
                        And in return i get irritating calls every minute from airtel asking me to pay the bill. Why should i do it? Are you a charitable organization so that i have to donate money?
                        It’s your responsibility to listen to the customer first and do as they say unless it is against your company policy.
                        I don’t have any outstanding amount to pay on my number. I have cleared everything and then told you guys to deactivate it.
                        If you didn’t do it, it’s your headache and not mine.
                        You guys advertise a lot about airtel and its service but when it comes to the real picture, nothing is right. Is everything a show off?
                        A company like yours has to provide a valuable and unregrettable service at any cost and that’s your job.
                        I don’t know whether product matters a lot or not but once product is deployed, service is “the” most important thing for a company to progress.
                        I need this deactivation to be done immediately.
                        Thanks for your suggestions, but i don’t want to port this number.

                        I raised a request with the customer service executive to deactivate my SIM somewhere 5th-or 6th,
                        they said the billing date is 10th and it would be deactivated on that day, after which I didn't get any
                        bill generated message or mail which made me assume that the number is deactivated. After about 4-5 months
                        of time they keep calling me to pay all the piled up bill, which I don't understand why am I supposed to pay.
                        Each time I get a call, I ask them to track my request, they would
                        promise to get back and never would. Now very recently I get a call saying a notice would be sent.
                        Its the inefficient customer service by airtel that led to all these.
                        If I were Informed about not deactivating it earlier, I would have taken appropriate step and made it deactivated.

                        Its been long that I raised a complaint and I don't see anyone responding to it. Meanwhile in past 3 days I got 2 calls from AIRTEL asking me to port my existing number to AIRTEL, when I told them the Complaint ID and about the worst Airtel customer service I have ever seen till date, and also asked them to raise a complaint they would either say yes we will do or cut the call abruptly. You disturb us with your nonsense calls, and when we ask you to solve anything you don't even bother and cut the call, what worst service is this. I need a solution to this ASAP.

                          I have taken up the airtel connection for landline and broadband services on 6th june 2016. And after 2 months i have made a request on 2nd august 2016 for shifting in my new address. I have been calling their customer care since 6th august 2016 but no solution or certainty on when will the installation in my new address. I have put a request for many times (Often daily) to make installation immediately. But yesterday some one get connected but not reached me even after several attempts the person did not reach my address till today.

                          I once again to make this complaint and say that why such poor service is enacted by the firm and they make propaganda for 3g and 4g broad band etc., but simple installation and cabling was not done even after 11 days of my order issued.

                          Airtel co. have finally resolved the shifting of my land line (no.044-42158963) and checked the broad band network on 27th Aug'16 by 6.00 pm. But the voice line will work after 2 days as informed by the technician. The company staff has apologized and stated that the delay was due to technical fault which they were attending for long time. His contact no. 8971088822. Before that the company staff called on me (Phone no.04442184311) and intimated the time of arrival of the technician by 2.30 pm. I have made 2 calls to the Customer service and reminded them after that the installation was effected. I would like to suggest the company should make the service customer friendly and not to follow up with them continuously. I have raised my voice in this column for 2-3 occasions and then only they have taken some serious steps and resolved 50% of the service part and the remaining 50% rest with their voice connection work which will be resolved soon, I hope. But what is the reason for not attending the phone even a SMS was sent to call me back or often engaged whenever I tried to contact. I am writing to you to help further, all my efforts may go waste when I see the number of complaints and 14% is the rating of the customer satisfaction.

                          In continuation I follow up with Airtel 121 and register the status of work/service. There was no call back from Airtel on 18th August 2016. But on 19/8/2016, there was a call from a Airtel person through Ph. no. 42184311 stating that broad band service is ready in my new address line but voice line is not working and they are checking today. I once again make this complaint and say that what is the causative factor for not make the through line ? and how long these fellows meddle with the poor infrastructure or unqualified technician?

                          I hope that the service will be rendered by 20th August 2016 ? if so I would be very much thankful and support you guys working very hard for the telecommunication service in India under the banner of 3G and 4G etc. Further, no charges would be levied for all these days (about 20 days) for my existing connection under tel no.42158963 for the August month bill.

                          I received a reply on 20th August 2016 through an enquiry (over phone) stating that at present the service could not be rendered and shifting would not be undertaken at present. hence I have been forced to disconnect the shifting process and termination of the facility for which it has been noted that some minimum charges could be waived and the remaining plan charges should be paid by me. What sort of facility provided for which I am charged? Without checking the feasibility (initially), the firm has replied that they would resolve the request for shifting by 5 days (based on the request for shifting issued on 30th July 2016).

                          Followed by under A/c. no.[protected] they have intimated for a new plan (Airtel-UL Rapid Advantage 1099 75 GB (4 Mbps) COMBO plan. Further enquiry, the firm replied that the request for shifting is under process and will be completed in 5 days. Further the firm subsequently informed that the issue (shifting work) will be resolved by 6th August 2016 (as per SMS received on 5th August 2016 at 11.11.10 am) on my registered mobile. But all my efforts were not effective and even after 15 days the firm did not act on that and at present it is not feasible to provide the broad band connection to my new address at present circumstances (but the bill for July 2016 is already generated in my new address). Ultimately the customer is the loser for not getting the services and bound to pay the plan charges even the service is disconnected on 31st July 2016 in my old address.

                          It is requested that when the fixed line is off and not connected into the new line and I understand that I need not to pay the plan charges until the service is resumed in my new address. Where is scope for waived the charges come into effect as informed by me. Any how I shall be sending a request to Airtel to withdraw my shifting request and cancel the service immediately without any charges for the month of August 2016.
                          Thank you for their co-operation and some lessons I have learned from them.

                                  मैंने माह मार्च 2016 में अपने मोबाइल नंबर[protected] को idea से airtel में port करवाया था मैंने सुना था कि airtel का नेटवर्क सबसे बेहतर नेटवर्क है airtel के विज्ञापनों में भी यही दर्शाया गया है कि इसका नेटवर्क पहाड़ों पर भी मिल जाता है लेकिन जब मैंने इसको यूज किया तो मुझे पता चला इससे खराब नेटवर्क तो शायद किसी का भी नहीं है क्योंकि मेरे मोबाइल नंबर[protected] पर तो यह मेरे घर के अंदर भी नहीं मिलता बात करने के लिए भी घर से बाहर या छत पर जाना पड़ता है घर के अंदर हैंडसेट में नो नेटवर्क या इमरजेंसी कॉल ओनली दिखाता है Internet तो और भी खराब है 2g कनेक्शन तो चलता ही नहीं तथा 3g कनेक्शन भी केवल बाहर ही पकड़ता है वह भी रेंग रेंग कर। मैंने इसके लिए कई बार airtel के कस्टमर केयर नंबर 121 एवं वन 198 पर भी शिकायत दर्ज करवाई है लेकिन वहां से भी केवल टेक्निकल प्रॉब्लम बता कर पल्ला झाड़ लिया गया अगर कभी मौसम खराब होता है तो और भी ज्यादा प्रॉब्लम आती है इसलिए मैंने तो इस नंबर में पैसे डलवाने ही बंद कर दिए क्योंकि यह मेरा नंबर सभी लोगों के पास है इसलिए इस नंबर को रखना आवश्यक है लेकिन नेटवर्क के मामले में सबसे खराब airtel कंपनी है और यह प्रॉब्लम केवल एक मेरे साथ ही नहीं है। मैंने मेरे आसपास रहने वाले काफी लोगों से पूछा तो उन्होंने भी यही कहा कि airtel के नेटवर्क में तो यह प्रॉब्लम आ ही रही है हम लोग भी काफी परेशान हैं। मेरा गांव जयपुर शहर से 90 किलोमीटर दिल्ली की तरफ nh8 पर प्रा गपुरा है यहा airtel के टावर भी लगे हुए हैं जो कि मेरे घर से करीबन 500 मीटर की दूरी पर ही है लेकिन फिर भी यह प्रॉब्लम होती है।
